The inside of the shop was clean and very busy. The potato butter croquette goes well with beer. The chapchae with sesame oil stimulates the appetite and also goes well with beer. The pork kimchi is a sure hit. The chijimi can be topped with pork belly, kimchi, cheese, squid, etc. which is also a sure hit. The samgyupsal is incredibly delicious. The sangchu (lettuce) adds a nice touch. The spicy ramen has the same taste base as the pork kimchi. Of course it's delicious. The cold noodles have a refreshing taste and are perfect for finishing the meal. All the dishes are of a high standard, and the prices are relatively reasonable. This is a highly recommended restaurant.

I love this Korean restaurant. When it starts to get hot, and I crave something spicy and punchy, this is the place to go! I recommend the assorted namul, simmered fish, and even though it's not Korean, the hamburger is a must-try. Also, the bibim noodles are amazing, even though I didn't have them this time. And the chijimi is probably the best I've ever had, with a crispy exterior. It goes perfectly with makgeolli. I will definitely be back soon! Thank you for the delicious meal.♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

Located a 5-7 minute walk from Kitashinchi Station, there is a popular Korean restaurant called Kukai. Various Korean dishes are lined up in front of the counter seats, allowing customers to visually order their meals. This restaurant has been selected as one of the top 100 Asian and Ethnic restaurants in 2022. The service may seem brusque at first, but once you start talking, it's easy to communicate and place orders, making it stress-free to enjoy a leisurely meal. The dishes we tried were the rich potato butter croquette, spring cabbage salad, bulgogi, homemade hamburger, stone-cooked kimchi fried rice, and sakura shrimp, squid, and new onion pancake. In addition to authentic Korean cuisine, Kukai also offers a variety of Western dishes, which adds to its charm. The potato butter croquette, made with Echire butter, has a surprisingly rich buttery aroma, with a sweet potato flavor and a crispy texture that is enjoyable even without any condiments. The refreshing and tangy spring cabbage salad, the irresistible combination of sweet and savory bulgogi with beef, lettuce, perilla leaves, and gochujang, the tender and homely juicy hamburger, and the crispy texture of the stone-cooked kimchi fried rice with a burnt crust were all exquisite! The chijimi, where you can choose your favorite ingredients, which we ordered as a finale, also had high quality, making this restaurant a place where everything you order is delicious. Be sure to visit and enjoy a meal here. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Last time, unfortunately, we were turned away (making a reservation the day before at 6 pm on Friday is just common sense, isn't it?), so this time it's a revenge. Some reviews mentioned starting with a course, but we ordered a la carte. - Namul assortment Just the right balance. The celery and hijiki namul were especially delicious. I could just keep nibbling on these... - Chapchae, potato salad Whenever I go to a Korean restaurant, I always end up ordering chapchae... The taste was elegant and very delicious! The potato salad was also goooooooood! My companion particularly liked the potato salad. - Hotaruika chijimi Today, they had delicious firefly squid, so we decided to have chijimi. My companion is not a fan of seafood, so I ended up eating it alone, but it was just the right size! The subtle bitterness of the firefly squid spread nicely. Delicious. - Steamed pork When it's a reasonably good Korean restaurant, I always feel like ordering steamed pork. It's moderately fatty and tender... I eat it with kimchi. - Bulgogi I haven't eaten bulgogi much outside, so I didn't know about wrapping it in sesame leaves. The sesame leaves were large and beautiful, and they balanced the richness of the bulgogi with their refreshing taste. But that doesn't mean I don't want to eat the bulgogi on its own. It goes well with alcohol... - Hamburg steak The most mentioned dish in the reviews was the hamburg steak. Juicy and nostalgic, the sauce was incredibly delicious. The egg was also runny, a must-have... and I left the restaurant feeling elated. It's a shame that my companion couldn't eat shrimp because they don't like seafood, but next time for sure... I will definitely visit again.

I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while, but I had been rejected a few times. I was craving Korean food, so I finally got to go! The menu had a good variety of dishes, and everything I tried was delicious. I especially enjoyed the white fish roe, chapchae, assorted namul, spicy cod roe bibim noodles, stone pot fried rice, and hamburger steak. Everything was so tasty! I even ended up eating the hamburger steak, haha. If they have a lunch special, I'll definitely be coming back often. Thank you for the delicious meal!

This day, we had dinner at Kuikai in Osaka Kita-shinchi, which is known as one of the top 100 Asian ethnic restaurants and a hidden gem recommended by gourmet enthusiasts. We ordered a la carte dishes while listening to the recommendations of the owner. The signature dish, button shrimp kejang, and seasonal ingredients (oysters, squid) chijimi were particularly delicious and memorable. If you ever crave delicious Korean cuisine in Osaka, I recommend this place as reservations are relatively easy to make. In addition to the regular menu, the dishes change depending on the seasonal ingredients, so I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

On the evening of September 2022.09, I had Korean food at this restaurant. My subordinate had made a reservation in advance, but it seems to be quite popular as it is often fully booked! By the way, it was fully booked on this day (^^;; Now, I was the first one to arrive at the restaurant when it opened. I arrived 5 minutes before opening, but the restaurant opened its doors right on time. I entered the restaurant and took my seat. Soon after, customers started coming in one after another... most of them seemed to be accompanied by night butterflies (⌒-⌒; ) Wait, me? No, I'm not accompanied by anyone^^; I ordered various dishes before it got crowded and it paid off (^ ^) The food was served without much wait! A platter of namul... especially the bean sprouts were delicious, so I ordered an additional serving, which goes really well with a glass of beer (*^◯^*) The texture and seasoning were wonderful. Chapchae... it was on the sweeter side, nothing special. Bulgogi... I don't think this was bulgogi ← it tasted more like sukiyaki ( ; ; ) Gejang... I think the seasoning was good, but I wished it was a bit spicier ← honestly, it felt a bit lacking for me m(_ _)m Samgyupsal... it was served already cooked, so it's perfect for those who find cooking troublesome. However, for those who like to cook it themselves, it might feel a bit lacking, but having a gas stove on the table might be difficult. Kimbap... it had cheese in it, but it didn't quite suit my taste (^^;; Overall, I enjoyed the food, and the seasoning was gentle, catering more towards Japanese taste. However, since it was fully booked, it took quite a while for the alcohol to be served, which was a bit of a drawback. I felt that the alcohol service should be faster, in addition to the food. Looking forward to further improvements! Thank you for the meal (o^^o)

It's night, and I'm at a new place. It's a rare Korean restaurant in this area. As soon as it opened, I entered and started with a glass of draft beer. I had a variety of dishes like Namul assortment, Chapchae, Potato salad, Bulgogi, Samgyeopsal, spicy Tataki, and Gejang. I especially loved the Celery Namul and the thick Tataki. The menu doesn't have prices, which is a bit scary. It's a sophisticated place with a mix of Japanese and Korean cuisine. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant introduced by actor Tatsuya Fujiwara on the TV show "Life's Best Restaurant." The restaurant is called Kui Kai, and it is a favorite because everything you eat there is delicious. They serve a variety of Korean dishes on large plates, allowing you to choose the side dishes you want. For those who don't like spicy food, they also offer home-cooked dishes like hamburgers. You can order a variety of dishes and they will serve them little by little, allowing you to try many different options. They have a wide range of traditional Korean dishes such as bulgogi, samgyeopsal, japchae, abalone porridge, tteokbokki, jjigae, bossam, jeon, naengmyeon, bibimbap, and more. If you go with others, you can make a reservation for 18:30 or 19:00 and eat until you are full. The seafood stew in winter is also excellent, and the pudding after the meal is delicious like panna cotta. The a la carte menu includes dishes like shrimp button, raw jellyfish, raw beef intestine, assorted namul, firefly squid and seaweed jeon, boiled shellfish, simmered sea bream roe, vinegar-pickled chicken, fried bamboo shoots, hamburger, new potato potato salad, stone-grilled kimchi fried rice, and kuppah. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

I went to the restaurant for the soy sauce marinated shrimp... and it was delicious! Everything was tasty. I usually don't like garlic, but it was so good that I ended up ordering too much and my stomach was full. I don't eat garlic or spicy food often, but the sweet and savory dishes were irresistibly delicious.

This is a Korean restaurant located in Kitashinchi. It has a unique atmosphere for a Korean restaurant, with a variety of dishes displayed on the counter. You can choose what you like and order a la carte style. Personally, I like the tofu stew and hamburger. Some of the dishes available include raw pork and tofu stew, pork kimchi, chapchae, seasonal namul, spicy stir-fried eggplant, corn cream croquette, and chijimi.

Located in Kitashinchi, this establishment is mainly used for accompanying night hostesses or for after-parties. The atmosphere is calm and resembles a small traditional Japanese restaurant rather than a Korean one. The menu items are all in bite-sized portions, making it easy to try a variety of dishes. Prices are not listed, but the food is perfect for pairing with drinks. The alcohol selection is diverse and enjoyable.

I visited this restaurant for the second party after a long time. Since it's a popular place, I was wondering if we could get in on the day without a reservation. However, maybe due to the influence of the coronavirus or because it was already 8:30, we were able to get in right away. The food is always delicious no matter what you eat. The button shrimp jang was especially delicious.

It has been a while since I last visited this restaurant over a year ago. The atmosphere is like an izakaya, but the food is incredibly delicious. The sweet Botan shrimp is amazing. Surprisingly, everyone orders the hamburger, which is also delicious. The chijimi is light and you can eat as much as you want. I definitely want to go back again.

Korean cuisine - First visit to Kuukai in Kitashinchi. Kuukai is a popular Korean restaurant in Kitashinchi. We went early, and besides us, there were only middle-aged men and young, beautiful women. It felt a bit out of place, like a companion time. But the staff was kind, which was nice. When we asked for recommendations, they made several dishes for us, and they were all delicious. The Korean vinegar miso-like dish was so good that I really want to know the recipe. Drinking 1 liter of makgeolli made me feel great. Thank you so much!

This is a Korean home cooking restaurant and the food is very delicious. The button shrimp jjang and oyster jjang were especially delicious that day. The oysters were particularly large and plump, it was amazing. The spicy grilled hairtail reminded me of the hairtail alley in Seoul, it was great.

I had to change my reservation several times due to my schedule, but they kindly accommodated my requests. Thank you. While there wasn't a dish that left a special impression, the overall quality was impressive. (As a fan of spicy food, I found it a bit lacking.) You can choose your favorite ingredients to create your ideal Korean pancake. The popular classic, Button Shrimp Yannyeomseu, is a must-try. I would like to visit again in the future.
