In the bento and side dish corner of the store, many people were looking around at discounted items. There were people coming home from work, people talking on the phone with their families (presumably), and elderly people buying in bulk. Unlike before, there were no Chinese tourists, so the atmosphere of the discount battle seemed more peaceful. I also joined the battle and found something called Yakisoba. It was a simple and cheap yakisoba with almost no ingredients, commonly found in various supermarkets. When I checked the product name at home, it was Ebi Miso Yakisoba, priced at 128 yen. Next, I searched the fresh food section and got some discounted sashimi. I got bincho, kihada, and mejiron, each priced at 198 yen per 100g. I bought a total of 4 packs and on the first day, I had sashimi, and the remaining sashimi was marinated the next day with a 40% discount, costing around 850 yen for a mountain of tuna feast at home. It was a sufficient feast for one person at home.
