The restaurant is located about a 3-4 minute walk north from Exit 1 of Nishiohashi Station on the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-Ryokuchi Line. Upon entering, you will be seated at the counter. I had the B Plan ZO (lunch) here. It included a chef's choice appetizer platter with white fish in tomato sauce, Genovese potato salad, and a garden salad. For the main course, I chose the pork tomato sauce spaghetti, which had a rich flavor from the pork and tomato sauce. The noodles had a great texture and paired well with the sauce. For dessert, you can choose from three homemade options: tiramisu, panna cotta, and mixed berry gelato. I opted for an espresso as my post-meal drink. Overall, I was satisfied with the Italian lunch I had and look forward to returning for dinner to enjoy some drinks and more dishes. Thank you for the meal.

There are very few times when I am truly impressed by a dish. It's amazing how ingredients that I am familiar with can transform so dramatically! It makes me think, "I'm so glad I came to eat here!" For example, there's this corn soup that is not your typical soup - it's light and fluffy, and when you take a bite, it just melts in your mouth with a flavorful corn taste coming through from the bottom. It's really hard to describe... You really have to try this amazing dish! It's the kind of dish that makes you want to tell the chef, "I feel 20 years younger because this is so delicious!"

On this day, I had a stylish Italian lunch in Horie♪ I visited Trattoria Pappa for the first time, a restaurant owned by Chef Matsumoto, whom I often see on a Kansai local TV show. I managed to snag a prime seat and entered the restaurant as soon as it opened. Initially, I was planning to go for the safe option of Pranzo A, but my partner insisted on Pranzo B, and demanded a selection of white and red wines like a boss. The lunch included a Chef's assorted appetizer platter, Conchiglie with cashew nut and tuna sauce, terrine with pistachios, salmon fritters, and a couscous-like dish with Genovese sauce. The dishes were unexpectedly delicious. The terrine with Conchiglie was especially tasty. The spaghetti options were either pork with garlic oil sauce or natural sea bream with tomato sauce. I chose the sea bream with tomato sauce and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The pasta had a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, with a generous amount of flaked sea bream. The dessert selection included homemade milk pudding, lemon gelato, and walnut gâteau au chocolat. The quality of the desserts was also exceptional. We ended the meal with espresso. Overall, it was a very satisfying and delicious lunch experience. I would definitely consider returning for dinner in the future.

"TrattoriaPappa" in Nishi-ku, Osaka, offers Italian cuisine focusing on fresh seafood sourced from the market in a calm atmosphere. The blog post titled "Revival! Pappa Wan-ko Pasta Festival! 8.8" features Chef Matsumoto serving nearly 30 small plates of pasta in a dog bowl style, with unlimited white and red wine. Guests enjoyed the variety of small pasta dishes and left feeling very full. The restaurant's address is 2-3-9 Shinmachi, Nishi-ku, Osaka, with contact number 06-6536-4188. Operating hours are 11:30-14:00 and 17:30 onwards, with the last entry at 20:00. Closed on Sundays and irregular days, the restaurant is completely smoke-free and does not have parking available. Accessible by train, it is a 4-minute walk from Osaka Metro's Higashi-Ohashi Station Exit 1.

I went for lunch. I wanted to eat pasta for lunch, so I searched for a popular restaurant and decided to come here. I had the lunch set with three appetizers, bread, and pasta. The three appetizers were delicious. I chose the pasta with tomato sauce, but it was really just average. It was tasty, but nothing special. Maybe I know of other places that serve tastier pasta. If asked if I would come back for lunch again, I don't think I would. However, it was still good. I would like to come back for dinner next time!!

I paid cash for a delicious pasta lunch at Pappa. I chose the Salmon Cream pasta from the options of tomato or cream base. The appetizers were as delicious as always. The hot pasta was filled with plenty of salmon and the cream was not too thick, which was good. However, I felt that there was a lot of noodles, so next time I will choose a smaller portion.

Trattoria Pappa, located north of Osaka Nishi-Ohashi. Ranked in the top 100 Italian restaurants in 2023, with a rating of 3.60 on Tabelog. Arrived at 1:40 pm on a weekday with 2 groups of customers already seated. It seemed like a large group had just left. The restaurant has around 10 seats at the L-shaped counter and about 4 tables. Reservations are possible for slightly more expensive lunches. I had various fish garlic oil-based pasta dishes. The moment I entered the restaurant, a delightful aroma greeted me. The appetizers were delicious, especially the quiche. The pasta was generously filled with ingredients, finely chopped to mix well with the noodles. The garlic flavor was subtle, but the sauce and pasta emulsified well, creating a delicious dish. The last entry is at 2 pm, so I was glad I made it in time. Paying in cash offers a discount on the consumption tax, making it a great deal. If you're interested in the restaurant, please save it based on this review.

Hello! It's Ramen Walking here! Today is Italian day~ I had lunch at Trattoria Pappa in Nishi-Ohashi. It was my first time visiting this famous Italian restaurant. I arrived at 12:15 and luckily there was a seat available at the counter.
[Order]
Pranzo A (Lunch A) for 1,200 yen
- Tuna and Mushroom Tomato Sauce Spaghetti
- Appetizer
- Bread
Spaghetti:
The spaghetti had a mild tomato sauce with a hint of acidity. The tuna and mushrooms didn't overpower the dish, but added a nice meaty flavor. The noodles were cooked al dente, which may vary depending on personal preference.
Appetizer:
The appetizer was colorful and delicious. The fried conchiglie pasta shells were crispy and tasty. The bread was a bit small but satisfying. I finished it quickly.
The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere with customers enjoying wine in the afternoon. Thank you, Trattoria Pappa, for the meal!

In early summer, I look forward to enjoying the rich and delicious tomatoes at this Italian restaurant that feels like a fish market. They have a wide variety of fresh and tasty seafood. I ordered the black sea bass aqua pazza and enjoyed it hot and delicious. I love eating fish with bones. To accompany the meal, I had white wine.

I am Shinosuke Watanabe, a branding consultant known for my freedom in Japan. The other day, before heading to the hair salon, I decided to have lunch at Trattoria Pappa. I had often passed by this restaurant and was curious about it, but had never actually been inside. The reason was that I usually dine alone for lunch, and Trattoria Pappa seemed like a place where groups of ladies gather for lunch meetings, so I felt a bit out of place as a solo male diner. However, when I finally entered, I found that there were quite a few seats at the counter, creating a welcoming atmosphere for solo diners. I ordered a set meal with appetizers and pasta. On that day, they had a pasta dish with tomato sauce and sausage, which I decided to try. The tomato sauce was not like ketchup, but a delicious, authentic tomato sauce. I even used a piece of bread to scoop up the last bits of sauce. For 1200 yen, the meal was quite a good deal. Branding is not just about making things look good or appear profitable. It's about creating a memorable experience that sets you apart. There are many Italian restaurants out there, ranging from casual to high-end establishments. What makes a restaurant stand out is not just the appearance but also the casual atmosphere with high-quality food. This unique combination creates a desire to return for more.

The chef seemed to be quite famous and the restaurant was very popular. I had a meal with a friend from high school after a long time. We had the 11,000 yen course. The gratin and the grilled sea bream with scales were delicious. I prefer pasta that is more chewy, so I didn't like it too much. I would like to try various dishes a la carte as well.

Trattoria Pappa, a 5-minute walk from Nishiohashi Station. This time we had the Pranzo A set for ¥1320. The meal included:
- Chef's assorted appetizers of the day (☆ particularly liked)
- Spaghetti with tuna and mushroom in oil sauce OR spaghetti with homemade sausage in tomato sauce
Since there were 2 of us, we ordered one of each pasta and shared. The chef's assorted appetizers didn't come with a description but included salad, escabeche-like dish, and a garlic-marinated item with a strong garlic flavor. The spaghetti with tuna and mushroom in oil sauce was rich in ingredients, hot, and aromatic. The portion was satisfying. The spaghetti with homemade sausage in tomato sauce had a distinct herb flavor, possibly from rosemary or sage, making it addictive. The bread was also delicious. The pasta lived up to its reputation of being tasty. It seems like the tomato season is coming, so I would like to visit again to try more pasta dishes at night.

Congratulations on Pappa's 21st anniversary! I always rely on them, so I wanted to celebrate with a business lunch. I had eel risotto and sea urchin pasta, both of which were delicious. It's not easy to keep going for 21 years, especially with all the changes in staff. I really respect their dedication to providing such great food. I look forward to enjoying more delicious meals in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Visited at 12:05 on a weekday. The restaurant was about 60% full. None of the staff were wearing masks... Not even the ones in the kitchen, let alone the ones in the dining area. I think the atmosphere of an Italian restaurant is important, but I also believe that showing that level of consideration for customers is essential. Ordered an appetizer, which was served promptly. For the pasta, I had the tuna and watercress something or other. It was okay, but nothing particularly outstanding.

In the West District, Shinmachi, a popular Italian restaurant. The bright and clean interior is decorated with colorful paintings, and there are interesting objects that add a playful touch to the decor, making you naturally smile. From the L-shaped counter, you can see the glass-walled open kitchen, adding a lively atmosphere. The "Pranzo A" set includes a chef's assorted appetizers with baguette for 1,320 yen. For pasta, you can choose from two options, such as "Spaghetti with Small Pollack." The hot spaghetti served with a rich tomato sauce has a great aroma and flavor. It's as delicious as Matsuno Chef's dishes and packs a punch. The flavorful small pollack adds a nice texture to the dish. For lunch sets A, B, and C, paying in cash will get you a tax-free service. It was delicious, thank you for the meal. Instagram→ @masayan.310

It's December, isn't it? At Trattoria Pappa, during the Christmas season, you can enjoy Ezo deer. So, I decided to be ahead of the game and requested a course meal featuring Ezo deer as the main dish. Basically, you just need to tell them your favorite ingredients, and leave the cooking method up to them. For the appetizer, I requested an abalone dish, and for the pasta, I left it up to them. The main dish was the Ezo deer. We toasted with a bottle of spumante! The abalone dish was incredibly luxurious and delicious with a balsamic sauce. The pasta was made with plenty of clams and topped with karasumi. The Ezo deer, which was described as being like a child, had a red wine sauce with a hint of Teishukawara apple. For dessert, I had high hopes for the apple pie made by Tabes-san. It was really good with the vanilla ice cream. This lunch, which was a bit early Christmas version, was a big hit with the beautiful ladies!

I had the A lunch, which was spaghetti with various fish in tomato sauce. This lunch has great value for the price. The appetizer consisted of roast beef, shrimp, potatoes, and salad, all with delicious flavors. The spaghetti had a nice collaboration between the fish umami and tomato taste. It also came with bread. All of this for 1200 yen is quite reasonable. Thank you for the meal.

This is an Italian restaurant located in the western area of Shinsaibashi, near Yotsubashi Station. The chef, who is skilled at using seafood and vegetables, has appeared on TV. They offer a wide range of lunch options, from affordable set menus to full courses, making it easy to visit. I visited based on the recommendation of a friend who lives in the neighborhood. Moreover, my friend treated me to the meal, so I will refrain from giving a rating, but every dish was delicious. In particular, the sea bream with taro sauce left a lasting impression. I was so engrossed in conversation that I forgot to take photos of some dishes (oops). I am grateful for accommodating special requests. It may be a bit difficult to get to, but I would consider visiting again on another occasion.

☆彡A popular Italian restaurant in Shinmachi specializing in seafood for lunch. Enjoy fresh fish, shellfish, and wine during the "Business Lunch" course. The L-shaped counter seats surrounding the kitchen provide a lively atmosphere with dishes being prepared right in front of you. The course is served in a way that each dish is meticulously checked by several staff members before being brought to you. The highlight of this course is not the number of dishes but the luxuriousness of each seafood dish. The "Business Lunch" course (6,050 yen) includes a carpaccio platter, baguette, warm appetizer of sautéed octopus and vegetables, tomato sauce pasta with mantis shrimp, pan-fried sea bream, mussels and black soybean tomato sauce, fig meringue and sweet potato mousse, and hot coffee. Pair your meal with a glass of sparkling wine (1,320 yen) or red wine MALVIRA 2012 ROERO (1,100 yen). The quality of the restaurant can be judged by the antipasto (appetizer). If you enjoy seafood and wine, this is the perfect place for you. The sparkling wine pairs well with the fragrant oysters and turban shells, showcasing the freshness of the seafood. The sea bream carpaccio and sweet shrimp bruschetta are a delightful combination, highlighting the freshness of the ingredients. The luxurious pasta with mantis shrimp is a standout dish, with the shrimp taking center stage. The delicious pasta absorbs the flavors perfectly, with the dry noodles enhancing the umami taste. The main focus of the dishes is the quality of the ingredients rather than the sauce. This Italian restaurant that focuses on seafood is sure to please seafood lovers with its appetizers and pasta dishes. There is also a 1,320 yen lunch option available. Check out their Instagram @ginjirou.star for more information.

I rode a rental bike from Osaka Tenmangu Shrine and arrived at the restaurant around 13:10, where there was only about 10% of customers. It's best to avoid lunchtime rush. I sat in a corner at the back of the counter and ordered Pranzo A set 2. The meal started with appetizers in about 3 minutes. Unlike many restaurants that serve a large amount of vegetables, this one had a moderate amount. I couldn't quite identify some of the dishes, but they were well-seasoned. The bread was slightly hard on the surface but warm and thin, so it was easy to eat. The pasta had a nice garlic flavor and the meat was tasty. The vegetables were average. I paid 1200 yen in cash (some items are tax-free for cash payments according to the menu). I will visit again next time.
