After returning from the Goshiki Onsen, I saw a sign for lunch and decided to stop by. The view of Mt. Yotei from the seat is amazing! The owner seems to be a collector of Keith Haring, as there are many posters displayed. The menu is a bit pricey, but I really wanted to eat some meat, so I went for it! I ordered the beef stew and sirloin steak. The salad and soup were delicious. And then, the meats arrived! They looked so delicious... The beef stew had chunks of meat, it was big and tender. And the stew was tasty. The sirloin steak was incredibly delicious. I felt so happy. They even kindly offered me a second helping of rice. Thank you so much. Lastly, you get a choice of coffee or tea (herbal tea is also available). The view was great, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely. The villa also had a great view and I would love to stay there someday!

I felt like having Koshu fillet steak, so I ordered the set which came with salad, a rich soup with plenty of beef tendons, and coffee. The fillet steak set cost 6000 yen, and I also ordered a Koshu bottle wine for 10000 yen. The fillet steak had a perfect thickness and was cooked to a medium-rare perfection. It was tender and melted in my mouth, with a rich flavor unique to Koshu beef. The sirloin steak, which I had tried before, also costs 6000 yen and is currently being offered at half price for a limited time. The attentive and friendly service by the staff made my dining experience enjoyable, and I look forward to visiting this restaurant regularly.

Until 11/8, they are holding a Steak & Koshu Wine half-price fair. I recently had their Filet which I love, but this time I tried the Koshu Sirloin which is on half-price offer. Normally priced at ¥6000, the Koshu Sirloin comes with a black pepper and Japanese-style grated radish sauce, cooked to a medium-rare perfection. The meat is tender with a strong umami flavor, lean and delicious without any tough parts or excessive fat. The salad and soup were also delicious. They served me the most expensive Koshu red wine at half-price, which paired well with the meat. It was easy to drink, refreshing, with a fruity berry flavor that complemented the meat and rice. I hope to visit again during this period, as they also have Koshu beef shabu-shabu on the menu, which I am curious to try.

I visited this place not long ago, but I couldn't resist trying the steak again. The Koshu Fillet Steak Lunch set includes a 150g fillet steak, salad, soup, and a drink for 6000 yen. I also had a taste of my friend's beef stew, which was tender and had a sophisticated demi-glace sauce, just like the hamburger. Highly recommended! I chose the fillet steak, and it was a luxurious lunch with high-quality meat and plenty of homemade demi-glace sauce. The meat was tender and flavorful, not too heavy, and easy to eat. It was one of the best meats I've had in a while. Although not widely available, the Takachiho beef is also delicious. The Koshu Fillet is just as good! The salad dressing had a complex and deep flavor, and the soup was full of vegetables. They offer coffee, black tea, and herbal tea, and I chose coffee this time. The coffee made from beans designated by the Imperial Household Agency was well-balanced with acidity and bitterness, making it very easy to drink. Since I was recognized, I even got a free refill of coffee. They also recommend Koshu wine and sake, which I would like to try someday.

The view from the restaurant overlooks the entire Mount Yotei from the foothills to the summit, as well as the town of Niseko. The interior is filled with Keith Haring paintings and goods. The restaurant is connected to cottages via a walkway, designed by an architect to blend in stylishly with the Niseko surroundings. The restaurant, which opened about 5 years ago, recently added hamburgers and beef stew to the menu. Existing options like grilled meat and sirloin steak are also available for lunch at around ¥6000. I ordered the hamburger set and the grilled Koshu chicken set (each ¥2200), both served with soup, salad, rice, and a drink. The soup was flavorful with plenty of vegetables, the salad had homemade dressing, and the rice made from Rannou rice was delicious. The hamburger was juicy and full of flavor, cooked to a rare doneness with a rich demi-glace sauce. The service was attentive and friendly, making each customer feel welcomed. Nearby is the famous Yuki Chichibu hot spring, making it a great option for a day trip.
