I stayed at a hotel and used the famous breakfast buffet for 2500 yen, which is a price similar to a high-end hotel. Despite it being a weekday, there were 10 people waiting before opening at 6:30 am. It gradually got crowded. I was on a business trip and didn't have much time, so I finished my stay in about 15 minutes. There were seafood and other dishes, and the buffet was different from a regular one, but it lacked the sophistication of a high-end hotel. It was a perfect souvenir story from Hokkaido. Thank you for the meal.

This is a favorite cafe of mine, perfect for taking a break or doing work on my laptop. It's still a hidden gem as it's never too crowded, which I like. The opening hours are short but I use it often. That's why I have a little something to say. It's understandable that it's pricey since it's a hotel restaurant. For example, a thin cafe latte made by a machine costs around 300 yen at a certain family restaurant and you can drink as much as you want. However, it's a hotel restaurant... and I keep using it. But this time, I ordered a cream soda. This is not it. It does look beautiful, like something that would be Instagram-worthy. But I was disappointed after the first sip. It's too sweet. Yes, the syrup has all settled at the bottom. I tried stirring and stirring, but the taste was just gone after that. Can this really be called a cream soda??? It's like slightly sweetened carbonated water that I can't quite figure out. Can't the food and drinks be improved a bit more? (I have a general idea and have been disappointed before, so I don't order food) A few years ago, there were various parfaits and cakes to choose from, which was enjoyable. The quality seems to have gone down a lot since then. It's a favorite place of mine, and I will continue to go, but can't something be done about it? It's a convenient and nice environment, but I guess that's why it's not crowded. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed at Hotel Gracery located right in front of Sapporo Station. It used to be the first branch of Washington Hotel, but in 2006, it changed its name to Hotel Gracery under the same Fujita Kanko Group. For breakfast, I went to the cafe on the first floor of the building. It had a stylish atmosphere typical of a cafe, with a buffet that focused on Hokkaido for tourists. There were unlimited servings of seafood bowls, soup curry, and a variety of stylish Hokkaido jams at the bread corner. Additionally, the staff made fresh juices from pineapples and tomatoes, and shaved Swiss Tête de Moine cheese. I tried Tête de Moine cheese for the first time, and it was incredibly delicious! The breakfast was of high quality and variety, making it very satisfying.

I came to Gracefully Sapporo to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its opening, where they are holding a Fruit & Sweets buffet! I found out about this event just 2 days before, but it sounded so intriguing that I changed my plans and decided to go. The buffet includes various fruits like melon and strawberries, a ruby chocolate fountain, assorted sweets and bread, cold cuts and salads, light snacks, soft drinks, and wine, all for 2000 yen for 90 minutes. I don't drink wine, but the fruits and cold cuts were very appealing to me. I arrived about 20 minutes before it started and was the 5th group, but even though about 90% of the seats were filled, it wasn't completely full. The buffet was even better than I expected, with a focus on melon - melon jelly, melon gelato, melon shake, melon daifuku, melon jam, all delicious. The other fruits were also ripe and easy to eat. The sweets seemed professional and tasty, especially those made with fruits. The salad had a good variety, and I was happy to find my favorite tuna mayo. The snacks were limited, but the chicken rice was delicious. I wish there was ketchup for the scrambled eggs. The drinks were basic, with options like apple juice and matcha milk. For fruit lovers, especially melon enthusiasts, this buffet was like heaven. I don't know if there will be a next time, but if there is, I would love to participate again. Thank you for the feast!

Arrived at 8 a.m. The hotel seems fully booked. It's crowded. Had breakfast at the buffet on the first floor of the Washington Hotel. When it comes to Hokkaido, you think of Katsugen, right? They have a good selection of drinks. Unlimited servings of ikura and negitoro, the ikura is fresh here. It was delicious enough. The zangi, bacon, and onion kamaboko were also really tasty. I also enjoyed the desserts. It was delicious. It's recommended as it's close to the station!

I often stop by this cafe when I use my PC for work. Cafes with Wi-Fi tend to focus on their drinks and food, but don't expect that here. I wasn't very hungry, so I just ordered a juice, but it cost 600 yen for an iced tea. It was just poured from a pack. Yes, it's expensive. But the atmosphere is really nice, so I end up going there anyway. If there was no Wi-Fi, no power outlets, and it was crowded, I wouldn't go. There used to be more menu options to choose from (like parfaits or floats), which added to the enjoyment. I hope they can improve on that. Well, I do like this cafe, haha. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely go back again!

After finishing lunch and feeling a bit unsatisfied, I decided to go have a parfait. I had been to this place before for parfait, but unfortunately they didn't have it this time. I was disappointed. However, the staff immediately suggested cake instead, so I ended up having cake and coffee. In the end, I was satisfied with something sweet. Thank you very much. This place is always quiet and not crowded, which I like. They have Wi-Fi and power outlets, which is convenient. Honestly, I feel like I'm spending money more on the atmosphere rather than the food and drinks, but I'm okay with that. The last order is at 2:30 PM and they close at 3 PM, which is a bit too early and disappointing. Nonetheless, I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal!

Lunch service starts at 11:30 am. You order at the counter and receive a number tag, then choose your seat. I ordered the omurice with demi-glace sauce for 700 yen. For an extra 200 yen, you can get a salad bar and a drink, which is a good deal. Drinks on their own are 500-600 yen. The food is simply delicious.

It's my favorite cafe. The atmosphere is just so nice. This is my first time coming since the pandemic started. The spacious feeling is still the same, with a few customers scattered around. The seats are wide. Wi-Fi is available too. But the menu has changed quite a bit. This time I ordered a cafe latte, but the taste of the coffee and milk was extremely weak, watery even. I was surprised. I wondered if they made a mistake. Honestly, I was disappointed, but considering the ambiance, it's not so bad. I just wish they would improve the quality of the food and drinks a bit more. Well, I love this place so I will still go. Thank you for the meal!

I have been using the Tabete app to order takeout lunches for 450 yen several times. It's a bento box made with leftovers from the breakfast buffet. I don't always take photos of it. I'm not sure if you can just walk in and order takeout normally. Sometimes I get coupons, so I can get a better deal. It's exciting not knowing what will be in the bento box each day, sometimes it's fancy and other times it's simple (the first picture is from a simple day with just fried chicken). I've seen a few people dining in the restaurant during lunch, and they seem to have a salad bar too. It seems like a nice place to relax and maybe use as a hidden gem near the station. It can be intimidating to enter a restaurant in a hotel. The taste is nothing outstanding, I think. I don't think they use frozen food, so it seems healthier than convenience store food. Overall, it was a satisfying meal!

One downside is that the store closes early, but it is always empty and you can easily secure a seat with an outlet. I think the drinks and cakes are tastier than those at cheaper places. The satisfaction level is high for the cakes that can be added to drinks for an additional 200 yen.

I had breakfast at the hotel. It was a buffet style. They were very thorough with disinfection, temperature checks, and providing gloves. The restaurant was spacious and not crowded. There was a wide variety of food, especially the salmon, ikura, negitoro, and scallops caught my eye as you could make your own seafood bowl. Buffets can be dangerous, so be careful not to overeat.

Gracefully had breakfast at the cafe on the first floor. The view was nice and there were power outlets, making it a good cafe. The breakfast was buffet-style, not too many options but they had Genghis Khan, soup curry, and the croissant was delicious. Also, they had a fresh pineapple smoothie that was very tasty. They had various Furano jams although I didn't use them. I wish I had more time to enjoy it slowly, but I have to catch the morning flight back to Tokyo today, so I don't have much time. Rushing to finish this.

I visited "BONSALUTE CAFE" to explore new lunch options. The entrance had a fun picture of Keema curry in the shape of Hokkaido with rice on top. We ordered at the counter, with my friend Chie opting for the monthly pasta special with a drink set. I ordered the Original Dry Curry (Large) for 800 yen. After a few minutes, our curry and pasta arrived at the table. Unfortunately, both dishes lacked flavor. Since we had time before our next plan, we decided to order a cake set for 800 yen each. In total, we spent 3,500 yen. Although the service was good, we were disappointed with the taste.

The counter seats with power outlets are helpful. The breakfast area of the hotel has a simple and clean interior. It's a calm and functional space where you can take care of tasks comfortably. The place is not particularly stylish and doesn't promote any specialty dishes, but that's what makes it great. I arrived around 11:30 am and there was only one other customer. I planned to leave once it started getting crowded, but it ended up almost full during peak hours. I stayed for almost 3 hours. - Amatriciana Pasta ¥700 * Mini salad included * Upgrade to Traja Coffee +¥200 The red and green colors look beautiful. The tomato sauce has a nice acidity with a hint of herbs. Mixing it with Parmesan cheese made it light and easy to eat without too much spiciness or garlic taste. The light and refreshing coffee was perfect for taking a break. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited in the afternoon on a regular day and about 60% of the seats were taken. I ordered the Caramel Sundae (780 yen). It was made right in front of me and served in a tall, narrow glass with plenty of soft serve ice cream. The sundae was simple, with caramel sauce and granola at the bottom. The soft serve itself was delicious. The toppings were a bit sparse for the price, but overall it was good. You can choose between tea or coffee as a drink option for an additional 200 yen. The coffee had a rich flavor and was very tasty. The atmosphere allowed for lingering, making it suitable for those who want to have business meetings or study without the typical time limit of other cafes. Thank you for the meal.

I have recently decided not to eat breakfast at hotels during my domestic business trips. Some hotels offer free breakfast, which may seem like a key factor when choosing a hotel, but I believe that free breakfast is often included in the hotel rate, so I do not consider it a significant factor. Therefore, I try to avoid staying at hotels that advertise free breakfast. During my recent business trip to Sapporo, a colleague booked a hotel (Hotel Gracery Sapporo) connected to the station underground as a kind gesture. This hotel is located near the office where I worked for a brief period in Sapporo in August-September 2007, so it brought back nostalgic feelings, and I was delighted. Additionally, the breakfast buffet at this hotel is highly praised. Therefore, I decided to try the hotel breakfast for the first time. The breakfast is served at Bon Salute Café on the first floor of the hotel. The reviews on food review websites were divided between reviews for the café and the hotel itself, but the sign at the café entrance confirmed that the breakfast was served there. The breakfast time is from 6:30 to 10:00, which is convenient for early risers like me. When I arrived at 6:30, there were already about 15 people waiting in line at the entrance. The café was crowded, and I managed to secure a seat at the counter. The buffet area had a variety of dishes, including the café's specialty self-serve rice bowl, as well as bread, desserts, and drinks. I opted for the self-serve rice bowl with toppings like squid and squid salted roe. The breakfast was satisfying, with a good selection of salads, main dishes, and desserts. The price of 1,900 yen per person for the breakfast seemed a bit high, but considering the variety and quality of the food, it was reasonable. Overall, it was a satisfactory start to my day before heading to work in Obihiro in the afternoon.

This is a shop directly connected to Sapporo Station underground. I visited after a while. The food menu has expanded. I ordered the Keema curry with plenty of minced meat and iced coffee. The curry indeed had a generous amount of minced meat and tasted like a common flavor found in cafe menus. The spiciness was on the sweeter side. The iced coffee was made from a machine. I remember that this iced coffee used to cost around 350 yen, which I thought was a reasonable price for self-service coffee, but it has increased to 550 yen now. I didn't pay much attention to the prices, but it was a bit surprising. There are no set prices even when ordering food. I'm not sure if it's due to a shortage of staff or an increase in ingredient costs. There were many customers studying alone. Thank you for the meal.

This cafe has a calm atmosphere, making it perfect for those looking to work or study. The Wi-Fi password is written on the receipt, and you can use it once you place an order. The window seats have outlets, making it great for using a laptop. The food menu may not be very extensive. I used to visit this cafe a lot during exam periods to study. It's a favorite of mine.
