Yuba-no-kamaage udon is delicious. It's a udon restaurant I was curious about. There were seats available. According to reviews, they are divided between those who prefer bukkake (udon with sauce) and those who prefer broth, and the shop is also known for its delicious oden, so it's understandable that the broth is delicious, but as someone who loves bukkake, I think I'll go with bukkake! - Tori-tama-ten bukkake udon (990 yen) Ready in 15 minutes. Tama-ten: The egg has a slit in the middle and is deliciously firm and tasty! Tempura: The frying of the tempura is excellent. Tori-ten: The juiciness of the chicken and the frying of the tempura are excellent! This is one of the top chicken tempura I've had. The udon is a chewy type with a firm texture and is delicious! The bukkake sauce has a subtle dashi flavor, making it easy to eat! The toppings of seaweed, ginger, grated daikon radish, sesame seeds are healthy and simple, which is nice. I also want to try other tempura.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. Even though the temperature was still over 30 degrees, they had a sign saying "We have started serving hot pot udon." The sign recommended everything on the menu. I wanted to try the cold udon, but that sign convinced me otherwise. I ordered it, knowing that I would regret it if I didn't. It took about 20 minutes for the dish to arrive. "Oh, this is the kind that burns your mouth." But I wanted to try it. The udon was filled with a variety of ingredients - large shrimp tempura, chicken, eel, egg, cabbage, watercress, and more. And the yuzu pepper on the side was amazing. The light Kansai-style broth paired perfectly with the not-too-hard noodles and the abundance of ingredients. The balance was just right, and I ate without caring about the sweat dripping down my face. The broth was so good that I needed a change of clothes. But I was completely satisfied!

This restaurant is located just north of Tamade Nishi Park, after passing through Tamade Shotengai to the west and turning north in front of Namiki Shrine. I went there for lunch today to have some udon. When it comes to udon in the Tamade area, this is the place to go. Since I arrived around noon, I had to write my name and wait to be seated. Once seated, I ordered curry udon with half a bowl of white rice, and my wife ordered katsudon with a small udon. The udon here is known for its thick noodles, and the curry udon was served piping hot. It took some time to eat the long noodles, but it was delicious. The curry had thin fried tofu and meat in it, with a unique taste typical of udon restaurants. After finishing the udon, I mixed the white rice into the curry, which was also very tasty. It took a while because it was so hot, but it was a very satisfying meal. We also tried a bit of the katsudon, which was also delicious. This place really knows how to make a good katsudon. It was a gem to find in this area.

I had the opportunity to visit a region that I rarely get to visit, and I came across this restaurant through a search. I decided to stop by on a whim. The restaurant is called "Rakubukkake," which means "happy pouring" in Japanese. I ordered the tempura kamayaki set, which came with a side of mixed vegetable rice. The tempura was crispy and delicious, with a variety of ingredients like eggplant, fish cake, pumpkin, egg, and shrimp. The udon noodles had a nice texture and the broth was just right. The kamayaki was indeed hot and tasty. But the highlight for me was the mixed vegetable rice in the set. It was a flavorful mixed rice dish with vibrant ingredients and a gentle dashi flavor that enhanced the ingredients even more. Everything was so delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited this restaurant for lunch. I had been wanting to try it for a while. I ordered the Cold Bukkake Udon and Yakigohan (fried rice). It was delicious. The udon was long and chewy, which I really like. The broth for the bukkake was added by the restaurant, which was a bit disappointing for me as I prefer to add it myself. However, the flavor was great - not too sweet, just light and tasty. The bukkake udon came with various tempura toppings, including a delicious shrimp tempura. The tempura was well-cooked and the shrimp was juicy. The Yakigohan served as a nice side dish, with a subtle but flavorful taste. Overall, I had a delicious lunch and I will definitely visit this place again to enjoy their tasty udon.

Highly-rated restaurant, so I was prepared for a long line. However, when I arrived at 13:30 on Sunday, surprisingly there was no line and I was able to enter smoothly. The restaurant was quite busy, but there were seats available at the counter. The restaurant is very spacious with plenty of seating. I ordered the Chikudama Tempura Udon. First of all, the udon itself was delicious! It had the right amount of chewiness and smoothness, with a nice wheat flavor. The broth was to my liking, with the bonito flakes and seaweed adding great flavor. The half-cooked egg tempura was just a regular fully cooked egg (laughs). The bamboo ring tempura had a unique frying texture, but it was really tasty! Overall, it was a delicious udon restaurant that lived up to my expectations.

First visit to the restaurant. Arrived at 18:15 with no wait. What to order? I got the "Raku Bukkake" (1220 yen before tax) with shrimp tempura, squid tempura, eggplant tempura, pumpkin tempura, and shiso leaf tempura, along with a large serving of udon (120 yen before tax). Impressions? I decided to try the all-inclusive menu this time, and it was a bit pricey at around 1500 yen (^_^;) but each piece of tempura was large and the quality was top-notch. The udon was chewy and comparable to Ubara in Uehommachi in terms of taste. Both the udon and tempura were delicious, so I would definitely come back even if it's a bit more expensive. It was easy to get a table on a weekday night. [Anything else to mention?] The menu prices are listed before tax, so remember to add the consumption tax when calculating. They also offer lunch sets with dishes like mixed rice.

Today's lunch was found after getting off at Tamade Station. It's just one street away from Komagawa where I live, taking the Osaka City Bus bound for Suminoe Koen. Although Aizuya and Kashiya were available, I chose Kamage Udon Raku. It was just before 12 o'clock, and there happened to be one seat available at the counter. I had the Raku Bukkake for 1,220 yen and a medium bottle of beer for 570 yen. The appearance was luxurious, with a tempura all-star. The tempura included shrimp, fish cake, egg, shiso leaf, pumpkin, and eggplant, topped with chopped seaweed, grated daikon radish, grated ginger, sesame seeds, and green onions. The udon was chewy and smooth, with a rich broth. It was incredibly delicious. It's strange that this place isn't in the top 100 udon shops, as it's just as good as other top shops. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like eating udon, so I visited the restaurant. It was lunchtime, but I was seated within about 5 minutes. Since it was the end of summer, they were already selling hot pot udon, but I resisted the temptation and ordered cold udon (chikuwa tempura bukkake cold udon). It was delicious!!

I visited during lunch break at work. It was close to 1 pm so I was seated right away. There was a large TV in the restaurant, though I'm not sure how many inches it was. I was originally interested in the Kamaage Udon, but since it was hot that day, I opted for the Cold Bukkake Udon instead. The tempura that came with it was delicious, and the udon itself had a nice chewy texture and was very tasty. They also offer set meals with rice, but just the udon alone was enough to fill me up. Thank you for the meal.

Kamaage Udon at Raku @ Tamade / Raku Bukkake (large serving) On Saturday, I decided to visit Raku, a restaurant I had seen on a certain video channel before. The heat these past few days has been unbearable. Before heading out, I bought oral rehydration solution and took precautions against heatstroke. It's been a while since I got off at Tamade Station. I think the last time I was here was about 10 years ago when I went to Kashiya. It feels like it's getting closer. The restaurant is a bit back from the street towards Namba, in front of a park off the main road. When I arrived, there were 3 people waiting outside, so I wrote my name on the board and waited in front of the shop. But I was able to enter in just 2-3 minutes. It's nice to be able to get in quickly in this heat. I ordered the Raku Bukkake in a large serving, just like the main person in the video channel. After a short wait, it was served. I started by tasting the broth. It was also a dark, rich broth. I took a sip and it had a thick, rich flavor with a hint of sweetness, but compared to the Kama Hiro @ Tsurugaoka I had the day before, it was less sweet. The udon was firm with a good chewiness from being rinsed in cold water. It was smooth and had a great texture for the throat. The tempura included shrimp, eggplant, fish cake, tempura flakes, and shiso leaf. The shiso leaf was crispy, the shrimp tempura had a plump texture and a decent size, satisfying. The tempura flakes had a gooey yolk. Eggplant goes really well with oil. I thought about getting soft serve for dessert, but I resisted today (laughs). I think the quality here can compete with restaurants that have been named to the top 100. I'll have to come back here again.

I ordered the tempura rice bowl set with toppings. The tempura was crispy and juicy, more like flavorful fried chicken. It was seasoned with soy sauce, which was delicious. The cold dashi soup with slippery udon noodles is perfect for this season. Toppings like seaweed, bonito flakes, ginger, green onions, sesame seeds, and grated daikon radish add variety and keep the dish interesting until the last bite. The rice bowl was also tasty, with a sweet dashi flavor and plenty of ingredients.

I came here because I was craving delicious udon after a long time. The nearest station is Tamade Station on the Osaka Metro, about a 5-minute walk away. This restaurant has a wide variety of udon dishes and side dishes, all of which are really delicious. One of Arima's favorites was the "Eggplant and Broccoli Cheese Curry Udon," which has the perfect balance of spiciness and dashi flavor with plenty of eggplant and broccoli. The melted cheese is irresistibly good. This time, I tried the restaurant's recommended "Raku Bukkake (Cold)" udon. It takes time to cook it carefully, but it's definitely worth the wait. The visual presentation is stunning, and the noodles are chewy with a great texture. The tempura is perfectly crispy and hot, making it the best. The curry udon is good, but the bukkake udon was also incredibly delicious. The "Oyakodon (small)" with a gentle dashi flavor was also comforting and delicious. The restaurant was almost full on this day, and the service was great. The cozy atmosphere with the warmth of wood makes it a place you can't go wrong with. If you love udon, be sure to give this place a try. Thank you for the meal!

Visited after 12 o'clock. There are 5 counter seats, 1 large table, 3 tables for 4 people, and 2 tables in the tatami room. There were a few empty seats for a while. Due to the season, most people were eating more of the "bukkake" style dishes rather than "kamaage" style. The order rate for shrimp tempura was also high, but I ordered the chicken tempura bukkake cold as a set meal. I chose the mentaiko bowl for the rice option, which includes dishes like cooked rice and raw egg over rice. The price was 1,130 yen plus consumption tax. It seems to be the style of this restaurant to cook a large pot of rice all at once. This can result in varying wait times. Even though I arrived relatively quickly, it took about 13 minutes. The condiments for the bukkake included green onions, sesame seeds, bonito flakes, grated daikon radish, ginger, and seaweed. They are prepared and served by the restaurant. The mentaiko bowl was about half of a whole fish roe. The seaweed topping did not interfere with the flavor of the udon. I was happy with the generous portion of pickles. The udon had a chewy texture similar to gummy candy. It was delicious enough to be in the top 100 restaurants. The chicken tempura was amazing, with a crispy texture that still preserved the flavor of the meat. Since many people order shrimp tempura, it must be delicious too. The attentive service, such as refilling tea, and the overall customer service were very pleasant. It's clear why this place is popular.

I went to the restaurant after about a year (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)⁾⁾⁾ I arrived 5 minutes before the lunchtime opening on a weekday! There was already a group of 11:30am open before me. The cold tea was delicious♡ My usual order is ★Curry Udon with half-cooked egg and chikuwa tempura topping★. For lunch, I had the Tempura Rice Bowl (cold) with pickles. It had been a year since I last visited, so I didn't remember the taste much and was looking forward to it. I started with the rice bowl, and the udon noodles were chewy and firm, reminding me of other udon restaurants I've been to, ranking somewhere in the middle in terms of firmness. The flavor was on the lighter side. The udon noodles were long! Or is it just my imagination? (laughs) I think they are longer than usual. The curry had a good thickness and was piping hot! I ended up with a slightly burnt mouth after returning home ( ˊᵕˋ*) I like it that hot♡ It wasn't very spicy, more on the sweet side with a strong dashi flavor, not the bold impact of a curry, but consistently delicious. The pickles rice had a gentle flavor with ingredients like carrots, burdock, konjac, and thin fried tofu, I think? The tempura, especially the chikuwa tempura, had a strong and delicious taste. The half-cooked egg had a bright yellow yolk. They have a variety of rice dishes, and next time I want to try the chirashi sushi⸜(*ˊᵕˋ*)⸝‬ Thank you for the meal!!

I chose the cold noodles with plum sauce and the cold noodles with chicken and egg tempura set meal. The crispy tempura was a nice touch and the plum sauce had a good balance of sourness and sweetness. The noodles paired well with the shiso leaves and overall, I was very satisfied with the flavors. The broth was delicious and didn't leave any unpleasant aftertaste. Even though the restaurant is a bit far from my home, it left a lasting impression on me and I look forward to visiting again.

I got off at Tama-ide Station, walked a little, and arrived at the restaurant at 11:45. There were about two groups waiting, so I waited for about 15 minutes before entering the restaurant. I ordered the Bukkake Udon and Tempura All-Star, and they were all delicious. The Bukkake Udon had a generous amount of broth and a rich flavor. There were also many single dishes available, including soft serve ice cream, so there were many families dining there (probably because it was a Saturday). The staff at the restaurant were friendly and it was a great place to eat!

For lunch on this day, we went to Tamade to support a restaurant that is still open despite the pandemic, called "Kamaage Udon Raku". It is a popular udon restaurant in Tamade, and we went there with my family. I ordered the "Chicken Tempura Bukkake Set" with bamboo shoot rice, my child ordered the "Zaru Udon Set" with bean rice, and my wife ordered the "Shrimp Tempura Bukkake Udon" as a single item. We also ordered a potato salad. "Kamaage Udon Raku" is a restaurant where they start boiling the udon after taking your order, so you need to be prepared to wait a bit. During the wait, we had the potato salad. Now, the "Chicken Tempura Bukkake Udon" that I had was made with thick noodles that were freshly boiled and chewy. On top of the udon, there were chicken tempura, shredded seaweed, bonito flakes, sesame seeds, finely chopped green onions, and grated daikon radish with grated ginger in the middle. The bukkake sauce was already poured over the udon when it was served. Since it was bukkake style, the udon had been cooled with cold water, but I could still enjoy the chewiness of the freshly boiled udon. The deliciousness of this udon is more pronounced in the bukkake style than when eaten in kamaage style. The Chicken Tempura Bukkake Udon was so delicious!

Today, I decided to enjoy a udon lunch at this restaurant. When I arrived about 5 minutes before opening, there were 2 groups waiting. I wrote my name on the board and sat on the bench in front of the shop to wait. Right at the opening time, the curtain was raised, and they guided us in the order of the names on the board. Inside the shop, there was a counter, and it seemed like there was also a tatami area in the back. Since I was alone, I sat at the counter. I ordered the Chiku-tama tempura udon set (cold) for 1,232 yen including tax. For the set rice, you can choose from mixed rice, tamago kake gohan, mentaiko rice, and chirashi sushi. I chose the chirashi sushi. For an additional 100 yen, you can choose tamago don or for an additional 200 yen, oyako don. The udon noodles were long, and it was hard to slurp them up quickly, haha. They were shiny and had a firm chewiness like gummy noodles. The texture was very nice. The condiments like green onion, seaweed, sesame, and grated daikon were plentiful. The chikuwa tempura and tamago tempura were crispy. The tamago was soft-boiled inside. How about the chirashi sushi? The vinegar flavor wasn't too strong, and it had a gentle sweetness. It was delicious. I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied with my udon lunch. Thank you for the meal!

Today's lunch was supposed to be at a shop in Tamade Shopping Street, but unfortunately it was closed. So I crossed the street and came to this shop. Since I was alone, I was seated at the counter. I ordered the nabe-yaki udon and tamago kake gohan. The nabe-yaki udon arrived with a large tempura shrimp on top, along with vegetables like Chinese cabbage, green onions, enoki mushrooms, and mizuna, as well as kamaboko for garnish. An egg was dropped in the middle. I transferred it to a plate and noticed that the udon was long. As I ate, I found large pieces of chicken and grilled conger eel inside. Yuzu pepper was provided for seasoning. The tamago kake gohan came with separate eggs and rice, along with pickles on the side. I mixed them together with soy sauce provided on the counter. The portion of the nabe-yaki udon was generous, so I was stuffed. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. After paying, when I stepped outside, I saw several groups of customers waiting. It's a popular shop, and for good reason.
