Perfect for everyday use, right? The versatile atmosphere of The Izakaya is just perfect, isn't it? First things first, let's have some drinks! A serious love affair? Cheers with a strong lemon sour at the third stop! Since it's near the hotel, once you're here, it's already the final finishing stage, right? Do you want an appetizer? Let's snack on edamame while... Nakamura Meiji-san's fresh tsukune (two types). Who is Nakamura Meiji-san? This question didn't even cross the minds of the drunk people at that time, haha. Tontei-yaki (cheese tartar) (¥659) instead of okonomiyaki, this drinking buddy deliberately avoids carbohydrates until the end here, stubbornly showing unnecessary resistance, haha. The large portion of black pepper bean sprout stir-fry (¥549) is another strategy to increase volume. Fill up the stomach, let the alcohol take over, and dive into bed with this momentum, all is well, right? Yes, with this price and variety of menu options, this restaurant is very convenient. It would be nice to have one near the hotel or home, wouldn't it? Thank you for the meal!

It's the second place I visited. During the Christmas weekend, all izakayas are crowded. It was lucky to find a table for four available at 22:00. We started with a toast with mega highballs for the 120-minute all-you-can-drink plan. The appetizer was edamame, and we had one dish per person. We easily cleared that and enjoyed drinking to our heart's content before closing.

I felt lazy to go far, so I decided to drop by this chain restaurant called "Natsukuri". It was quite crowded, but luckily there was a space available in the raised seating area. I ordered using a touch panel, and was able to choose the amount of rice for my pork bowl set. With a LINE coupon, I got a 50 yen discount, so the total was 812 yen. The flavor was strong and you could get a rice refill, so it might be worth it for those who want to eat a lot. The receipt also came with a 50 yen discount coupon valid for a month, so if you go regularly, you can keep getting the discount.

- Salad and fried chicken set meal, around 850 yen This was my second visit for lunch. It was a bit crowded even though I arrived slightly before the usual lunch time. I had to wait a bit for my order, which made me a bit nervous. I learned from my previous visit that this place is better for fried food rather than seafood, so I decided to go with that. And it was the right choice! You can choose to have extra rice for free, and I ordered the chicken nanban. It looked almost the same as the other dish, but the salad here was better as it had various vegetables in it. It came with spinach namul, miso soup, pickles, and tartar sauce. A perfect lunch set. Thank you for the meal!

☆LP☆ After the state of emergency was lifted, I visited KG for dinner on a Saturday night for the first time in a few months! I actually visited LP a few days ago with my light-eating sister, so I couldn't fully enjoy the menu, so today is a revenge! We made a reservation through Tabelog for our visit after 6 pm. It wasn't too crowded for a Saturday night. It's located in an office district, so maybe it's always like this? We were seated at a table and decided to go for the 980 yen all-you-can-drink option. When you add a little more, you get more types of highballs and you can even have non-alcoholic beer. Now, the hungry couple quickly placed their food order. Touchscreen menus are becoming more common in izakayas these days. However, paper menus are still available, which is great for those of us from the Showa era (laughs). We ordered yakitori, kushikatsu, chicken, salad, and more, and while waiting for our food, we snacked on the complimentary edamame to stave off hunger. It seemed like there were two staff members on the floor that day. They were constantly rushing past our table, making it a bit unsettling. I understand they're busy due to a shortage of staff, but it's hard to relax when someone is sprinting past you. But somehow, with the power of alcohol, I stopped paying much attention to it (laughs). Compared to a certain izakaya chain, LP is a bit more expensive, but they offer a variety of menu items across different genres, so you won't have trouble choosing. Each dish has a decent portion size, so the price seems reasonable. When dining with two people, maybe slightly smaller portions for each dish would be better, but we enjoyed everything until the end. I particularly enjoyed the mentaiko butter grilled rice ball. If I come back here, I'll definitely order it again. I might visit again on a day when I feel like indulging in food and drink (laughs). Anyway, I hope the staff won't be running around next time. Thank you for the meal! \(^-^)/

Limited time offer: Fatty Mackerel Rice Bowl and Miso Soup for 879 yen (free extra rice). Sometimes I can't resist the shiny items... Lately, I've been craving seafood like crazy. So, when the daily special was a Tekkadon, I hesitated but ended up ordering the Fatty Mackerel bowl. And of course, I couldn't keep my promise to not get the extra rice, but in this case, I think getting the extra was the right choice. It felt like the regular portion at other places. The bowl is quite shallow, so it looks like more when you get the extra. You order with a tablet, and it seemed like you could also order from the regular menu for lunch. Surprisingly, it's smoking allowed here, but maybe due to where I sat or the people around, it wasn't bothersome. They didn't even ask about smoking when I entered. The Miso Soup came in a similarly large bowl, with not as many ingredients as I expected (compared to the photo), but it tasted really good. I've been craving Miso Soup a lot lately, even considering buying it at convenience stores (which costs around 300 yen). The Fatty Mackerel was as expected in taste, with a bit of pickles, but I felt like it could use a bit more ginger. I appreciated the generous amount of wasabi for those who like it. The green onions and seaweed on top added a nice touch and balanced well. However, being a seafood bowl, I couldn't help but feel a bit unsatisfied in terms of cost performance. I noticed that most people were ordering the fried chicken set, which is affordable and seems to be a popular choice here. Lunch at izakayas is a safe bet with fried foods. I still can't get enough of Miso Soup. Thank you for the meal!

Hokkaido is in critical condition... Despite this kind of weekend, I decided to go to "Honoo" near my office for a light drink with a small group. It's packed... Looks like a party...(-_-) Ended up at "Torino-kai" for some reason. It's empty (^-^; 120-minute all-you-can-drink for 1280 yen, a bit more expensive than Honoo's 980 yen. This place is generally pricey for food. Potato fries for 380 yen... Squid for around 600 yen... Pickled cucumber for 460 yen? Haha. Lunchtime is cheaper though.

I didn't have time to eat lunch, but I felt really hungry and decided to stop by here as it seemed like I could get food quickly. I didn't have high expectations since it's a chain izakaya, but the taste and portion were great. The only downside for me was that smoking was allowed at all tables, and the person next to me was a heavy smoker, which made the food less enjoyable. I would like to visit again for the food, but the environment...

On Sunday night, unable to resist the urge to drink right away, I visited this place that was not too crowded around 7 pm. I was seated in a back booth and saw a menu typical of chain restaurants with the words "All-you-can-drink for 1290 yen"! I decided on that first and started with a toast with a draft beer before choosing dishes. The dishes my friend and I decided on were: - Chicken skewers for 99 yen - Chicken wing tips for 499 yen - Onion and salad with plenty of dressing for 599 yen - Pork and shiso cheese fry for 578 yen - Pork and yam okonomiyaki for 678 yen. Since it's a chain restaurant, I won't comment on the taste. I regret not spending a little more money, but it was cheap. Thank you for the meal!

I have visited this place several times. Today, Sapporo is experiencing a blizzard. During my rounds, I stopped by for lunch after a long time. The restaurant is located about a 3-minute walk from Sapporo Clock Tower Street towards Sapporo Station, but today it took about 5 minutes due to the blizzard. It was past 1 pm, so the lunchtime rush was over and I could easily find a seat at the counter. I ordered the most popular Zangi Pork Miso Set. The Zangi Pork Miso Set costs 498 yen (including tax). It consists of 5 large pieces of Zangi (fried chicken) with miso soup. It looks quite appealing. The fried chicken was freshly fried, hot, and juicy. The seasoning was also good, very tasty. The miso soup was also piping hot. The balance of vegetables such as carrots and onions was good, and it was delicious too. It warmed up my body which was cold from the blizzard. The service was very polite and the food was served quickly. The best part is definitely the cost performance. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.

I ordered the fried pork soup set meal. During lunch time, you can get free rice refills and free upsizing! Also, free miso soup refills! Ken Kataya from CMA Pro Wrestling was apparently refused extra servings at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, so I decided to put it to the test myself. I ambitiously aimed to eat 4 bowls of rice and drink 4 bowls of miso soup, but I didn't realize that the fried pork soup set meal already came with miso soup. Nonetheless, the fried pork and soup were delicious. The key to winning at an all-you-can-eat restaurant is to eat a lot of rice with a limited amount of side dishes. At this restaurant, you have to call a staff member for refills, but there was no mention of a limit, so I ended up eating 4 bowls of rice. My heart was always filled with joy.

I finished work late and most of the shops were either closed or crowded before last order, so I happened to visit this place that had some availability. The all-you-can-drink option seemed like a great deal, so I decided to try it out and ordered a variety of dishes. The "Golden Tartar Macaroni Salad," "Spicy Long Potatoes," and "Black Pepper Chicken" were all delicious. If you're dining alone, the first two dishes are just the right amount, but the Black Pepper Chicken might be a bit too much for one person. Since I was already there, I also ordered some skewers: the "Chicken Thigh with Yuzu Grated Daikon and Ponzu" and the "Chicken Skewers." The yuzu grated daikon was delicious, and the chicken skewers, priced at only 99 yen (excluding tax) as a service menu item, were surprisingly tasty. If you're looking for good value for money for drinking and dining, I recommend this place!
