Tonight's dinner is here! I made a reservation on Tabelog earlier today and visited at 8 PM on a weekday as a solo diner. The restaurant was nearly full, both at tables and the counter, so I was seated at the counter. They prepared a spacious area for two, which was great! I wanted to try the motsu suki, but the menu indicated it was for two servings. When I asked the staff, they said they could prepare one serving for me, which was fantastic! I ordered the motsu suki, namul, and a beer to kick off my meal!
The staff started to prepare the motsu suki for me:
1. They grilled the offal and added the cooking sauce, letting it simmer before serving different types of motsu. Each part had a different texture and was incredibly delicious!
2. They added tofu and onions, set a timer for five minutes, and then it was ready to eat.
3. After adding the sauce, they included garlic chives, cabbage, and more motsu, transforming it into a motsu nabe! The tender offal was irresistible.
4. Finally, they added champon noodles for the finish! A sprinkle of Cambodian pepper made it even tastier!
I also enjoyed some sake during my meal and was utterly satisfied! I can't believe I found such a hidden gem. There’s a table for six people in the back, so I would love to come back with friends. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I made a reservation at a restaurant I had been curious about and visited for the first time to try motsu sukiyaki. It was delicious and filled with plenty of my favorite offal, allowing me to enjoy various parts. I was very satisfied. The portion was generous, and I think it was great value for the price. The staff took care of the cooking, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant as well.

I was recommended this place by an acquaintance and visited for the first time on a weekday at 9 PM with a reservation. I ordered the shrimp "kejang," potato salad (no photo), and "motsu suki," which is a rare dish in Nagoya. It was my first time trying "motsu suki," and it was a new experience to enjoy various types of offal with a sukiyaki flavor. The progression from "motsu suki" to tofu and vegetables, then to "motsu nabe," and finally ending with "chanpon" all in the same pot was a wonderful way to experience different flavors. The cost-performance was great, and I definitely want to visit again!

I ordered a course with all-you-can-drink options. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the noodle dish at the end. The sashimi platter with three types—heart, honeycomb tripe, and skirt steak—was particularly impressive, with the heart being incredibly tasty. I was surprised by the tenderness of the honeycomb tripe, and the skirt steak was, of course, excellent. The motsu-suki was a first for me; it wasn't too sweet and surprisingly refreshing, with the onions being tasty as well—I finished it in no time. The motsu-nabe that followed was reliably delicious. The noodles at the end had a mixed noodle feel, and the Cambodian pepper paired perfectly. The service was great, and it was a nice touch to receive a candy when leaving. I will definitely visit again.

Since it has gotten cold, I felt like having motsu (offal), so I came here. I'm also curious about the term "motsu-suki."
I ordered the motsu-suki set for 1,980 yen, tsurami sashimi for 880 yen, special vinegared motsu for 680 yen, sweet shrimp kejang for 750 yen, and seasonal namul for 450 yen.
The motsu-suki contains various types of offal, and the staff takes care of everything from the timing of when to add the ingredients to when it’s done, which makes me feel at ease. The preparation of the offal was clean, so I had a good impression.
During the meal, there were a few things that caught my attention, but after I finished paying, the staff kindly saw me off with a polite greeting, which was nice. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a course with all-you-can-drink for 6,980 yen per person. It was conveniently located right at the entrance of Endoji Shopping Street, so I arrived without getting lost. We started with a miso soup containing offals. For appetizers, we had spicy cod roe potato salad, long yam kimchi, and what seemed like nametake (forest mushrooms)—all of them paired wonderfully with drinks. The raw meat sashimi was also delicious and complemented the drinks nicely. I tried crab marinated in soy sauce for the first time, and it was tasty.
Next, we had offal sukiyaki, which they cooked right in front of us, making it easy to enjoy. After that, we moved on to offal hot pot, and both dishes were so delicious that we finished them in no time (laughs). There were various parts of offals included, so it was enjoyable and I finished everything, including the noodles at the end, which were also tasty. Thank you for the meal!

When I went to Nagoya for work, I was taken to this restaurant for a dinner meeting with a colleague. Upon entering the restaurant, there were counter seats and table seats, and we were shown to a table at the back. The specialty here is the offal hot pot, which involves adding alcohol to the pot and igniting it to burn off the alcohol before eating. This style of hot pot is also found in Fukuoka. The offal hot pot was average. Thank you for the meal.

We visited a restaurant located in the Endōji shopping district with three people. The service was excellent, and the offal sashimi was delicious. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the famous motsusuki (offal hot pot). They carefully prepared and served it right in front of us. The meal was fulfilling, even ending with a generous serving of ramen.

I visited motsu・sen located in the Endoji Shopping Street. I had tasted delicious motsu-suki in Fukuoka and never expected to find it in Nagoya, so I was thrilled to visit the restaurant. Although I didn't have a reservation and arrived just before closing time, they kindly welcomed me in. I had been curious about this place for a long time but hadn't been able to go, especially in the sweltering heat of summer.
Since it's based on sukiyaki, I enjoyed it even in the heat. The sukiyaki was delicious, and then I added soup for motsu-nabe, finishing with champon noodles—what a delightful parade of flavors! The portion was so satisfying that I didn't even need to add extra toppings. The Cambodian pepper on the table was incredibly tasty, so I added plenty at the end. I also enjoyed sashimi while having the motsu-nabe, which made the drinks flow nicely. I definitely want to go back; it was amazing! ❤️

We visited as a group of three, and everything that came out was delicious, which surprised us! The motsunabe (beef tripe hot pot) was fantastic, but even before that, the side dishes and the meat that were served paired really well with our drinks. We had a great time. Even though we were three men, the atmosphere is perfect for a date as well.

I visited with an all-you-can-drink option and opted for the omakase course. The meat sashimi was so delicious that I wanted to try all the varieties, but I settled for the three kinds served, so I'll look forward to next time. The appetizers were also intricately made and perfect for pairing with drinks. Both the meat hot pot and the meat stew were delicious, and the meat itself was great, with the noodles for the final dish also being very tasty. Even though it was all-you-can-drink, the sweet potato shochu was exceptionally good, with a refreshing aroma that paired perfectly with the meat. I will definitely visit again.

I tried "motsusuki," which was featured on TV, for the first time. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with only sixteen seats. The offal is fresh, and you can enjoy various textures like crunchy and fluffy. They intentionally choose leaner cuts of offal, making it light and refreshing. Initially, I ate just the meat, then added onions and tofu, thinking it was even tastier than hotpot! Just as I was enjoying it, the dish transformed halfway through with added meat and vegetables, turning it into a motsu hotpot! In the end, the meal included a delicious champon as a finale, all for just 2000 yen for a serving of motsusuki, making it an incredibly good value! I highly recommend it!

My friend, who lives locally, recommended this place in Nagoya, so it was a long-overdue visit for me after five years. Located on the second floor of a stylish and fashionable tenant building that suddenly appears in the old-fashioned shopping district near the International Center, this grilled offal restaurant was bustling with young people on the first floor in the standing bar. Their signature dish, "motsusuki," is said to be so popular that it has even been featured on TV. The interior has counter seating, making it suitable for dates, while the large table saw families enjoying their meals.
I tried the signature motsusuki course (4,980 yen) and felt the wonderful broth from the first sip. My appetite skyrocketed! The appetizer of potato salad and kimchi was incredibly delicious, and I found myself wanting rice to go along with it. The freshness of the fresh cuts like sanmai sashimi and harami sashimi was remarkable, and the dipping sauce was great. Pairing it with a lemon sour drink was just delightful.
As for the signature motsusuki, it was my first time trying it, and I can describe it as a sukiyaki version with offal. The staff prepared it right at our table and even added a flair with a fire show, which added to the entertainment. It's no wonder it has been featured on TV—it's just too good to ignore! I felt like a kid again, having a blast and enjoying myself.
The fresh offal had a great texture, and the richness of the fat was simply amazing. Even though I was already full, I couldn't stop sipping the soup. The spicy seasoning was fantastic, allowing us to enjoy the pot as is, and then transition to offal stew, and finish it off with ramen, which was pure happiness. And the price? It was unbelievably cheap... I was astonished at how reasonable it was. One could worry about how they make a profit at this price. It's clear why it's so popular!
The staff members were very friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere for our stay. It was a perfect night for a long-awaited reunion with a close friend with whom I used to explore various dining spots.

Last year, a specialized motsu-suki/motsu-nabe restaurant opened in the Enhonji shopping district of Nagoya. I decided to visit because I heard that the famous hormone grill restaurant, Sanbyakuya from Shinsen, Tokyo, was involved in supervising the dishes. The basic course is priced at 4,980 yen, and you can also add an all-you-can-drink option. The menu mainly features dishes made with beef offal, but the quality of the side dishes is also quite impressive. They source their beef offal and prime cuts from the local market.
The main dish, motsu-suki, involves cooking the beef offal and then coating it with a light, subtly sweet dipping sauce, which means it isn't as heavy as it looks; you could eat a lot of it. Following that, they prepare motsu-nabe by adding broth to the leftover dipping sauce from the motsu-suki. This dish is also very tasty. Finally, the meal wraps up with chanpon noodles, where they emulsify the broth and mix it in a way that resembles a cold noodle dish, allowing the flavors from the offal and vegetables to infuse deeply – it's incredibly delicious. Honestly, offering this whole course for 4,980 yen seems a bit of a steal! Thank you for the meal!

I love Motsu Shige in Fukuoka so much that I’ve been visiting various places for motsunabe (offal hot pot) and motsu sukiyaki. However, the places in Tokyo haven't met my expectations, and this was about my fifth attempt. The fresh meat sashimi was delicious, especially the raw beef tripe, which I found particularly tasty. The motsu sukiyaki was also great, so I will definitely come back again.

This place is a must-visit for offal lovers, featuring the delicious and fresh sagari sashimi! The offal is light, fresh, and incredibly juicy—absolutely delicious! The fire display adds to the experience, making it enjoyable to watch and Instagram-worthy. The sagari sashimi is exceptionally sweet and melts in your mouth! It exceeded my expectations! Since it was my first time, I requested the course meal, and everything was delicious, starting from the first bowl, the appetizers, the sashimi, the shrimp, and then the famous motsu-suki followed by the motsu-nabe. Everything was fantastic! The potato salad was surprisingly amazing too! And the service was truly excellent.

I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time because it had great reviews. Since it’s hard to make reservations when I want on weekends, I booked a table for two on a weekday. The atmosphere inside was very stylish and clean. We started with a toast with beer and umeshu soda.
We both love sashimi and appetizers, so we ordered two servings of sashimi platter, “yodare motsu” (a type of offal dish), stewed dishes, and two servings of motsu-suki set. Everything was delicious, but the sashimi platter was the highlight! The heart sashimi was particularly amazing! Everything was very fresh, and ordering two servings was definitely a good choice.
The motsu-suki set was incredible, with four different ways to enjoy it. The staff prepared it for us, making it feel like we were in a high-end restaurant. Having four options in one pot felt very valuable, and the fresh offal was delightful! We first enjoyed the motsu-suki, then switched to the motsu-nabe (offal hot pot) for a dramatic change in flavor at the end, topped off with champon noodles. Adding garlic made a huge difference in taste!
Even though I was stuffed, I couldn't resist ordering the white sesame pudding that I had been curious about, and it was so delicious that it became addictive! Overall, I was extremely satisfied! I’ll definitely come back!

I visited 【motsu・sen】, which is a short walk from Kokusai Center Station. It seems to be a popular place, as it quickly filled up with customers even on a weekday night. I enjoyed the "Motsu-sen Omakase Course," and everything was of high quality and fresh, with delicious seasoning! For those who love offal, it was a real treat to taste various preparations (in soup, sashimi, salad, and even sukiyaki-style to hot pot) of offal. (Everything else was incredibly tasty as well!) The staff, despite being busy, provided great service! I was thrilled to discover such a wonderful restaurant after a long time. Thank you for the meal!♬

I visited the restaurant at night. It opened in May 2023, and the interior has a calm atmosphere. The seating is relatively cozy with counters and table seats. I ordered the restaurant's specialty, motsu-suki, along with side menu items like raw meat sashimi. All the offals were fresh and carefully prepared. The heart sashimi, which is my favorite, was sliced to the perfect thickness and had excellent freshness. The motsu-suki included heart, thin intestines, small intestines, gizzard, and honeycomb tripe, allowing me to enjoy a variety of offals. I first savored just the offals, then added onions, tofu, and later the soup and cabbage, gradually enjoying it like a motsu hot pot. Personally, I found the fluffy texture of the honeycomb tripe especially delicious. The final dish, champon noodles, was infused with the flavor of the offals and paired perfectly with pepper. The taste was superb, and the staff's service was attentive, making the atmosphere very comfortable. I highly recommend this place for offal lovers. Thank you for the meal!
