On a certain holiday, during a long-awaited drive, I stumbled upon a soft serve ice cream sign at the parking area in Sapporo. Although it typically indicates an outdoor sales stand, the ice cream was also available inside the dining area, even outside of regular hours. I chose the "Soft Serve Ice Cream Cup (400 yen)" from the ticket machine, handed it to the counter, and received my ice cream. Upon tasting it, I noticed various flavors and wondered about the influence of the milk. The ice cream had a good balance of sweetness, creaminess, and richness, with a refreshing aftertaste and not too greasy. Thanks to this experience, I was also able to get change. It was a satisfying treat. Thank you.

Heading north on the Hokkaido Expressway, I stopped at the Sunagawa Parking Area to grab a light meal when I felt a bit hungry. After finishing my meal and heading back to my car, I realized that it was closed when I arrived. However, the Iwase Ranch was open, so I decided to treat myself to some soft serve ice cream for dessert. When I asked for a soft serve ice cream, I was told it cost 350 yen. I noticed they had two options, one with 8% milk fat and one with 10% milk fat. I thought maybe I should have gone for the 10% one for just a 10 yen difference. Nonetheless, the 8% soft serve was smooth and creamy, and very delicious. Next time, I'll try the 10% one. I also noticed they had deep-fried squid tempura, which I would like to try next time. I visited the 24th Autumn Hokkaido Fair at JR Nagoya Takashimaya and decided to line up for the limited Hokkaido melon single for 460 yen. It was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. I would love to have it again. It was convenient to use PayPay for payment.

The "Autumn Great Hokkaido Exhibition" was held in Karinbodaiwa, Kanazawa City, and this shop had a booth there. I decided to buy the "Burnt Caramel Choux" for 350 yen, which looked delicious in the newspaper insert flyer. When I went to the shop's corner, I also noticed the "Farm Milk Choux" for 330 yen, so I ended up buying both. The "Burnt Caramel Choux" did not have the caramel flavor I was expecting. The "Farm Milk Choux" felt softer compared to the "Burnt Caramel Choux." Both choux pastries had plenty of cream inside, but as someone who prefers rich and creamy fillings, I found both creams to be lacking in richness.

This is a company in Sunagawa. I ordered it for delivery, and it will arrive frozen. The pound cake is 1,510 yen. Inside the fluffy pound cake, there is plenty of fresh cream. It's rare to have cream inside like this. You can taste the milky flavor, but it's a bit mushy. Maybe I didn't thaw it properly - I just cut it and put it in the refrigerator. Anyway, every booth at the local product exhibition had long lines, so even if you wanted to buy sweets, you couldn't because of the long queues. However, I was able to buy cream puffs at this shop where the line temporarily stopped. The cream was fluffy and soft, and it was delicious (*´▽｀*)
