I received cream puffs from a shop I had visited before as a souvenir. I had only tried their cakes before, so it was my first time having their cream puffs. They were a bit on the small side, but the surface was crispy, and the cream inside was not too sweet, with a generous amount that tasted delicious. Thank you for the treat!

I saw a tweet about a new sakura-flavored dessert and it caught my attention, so I decided to visit the shop. It's located just a 5-minute walk from Nango 18-chome Station, and I can't believe I've never been there before even though it's so close. The shop is small and cozy, with a variety of baked goods and cakes on display. I purchased several baked goods and canelés this time. The sakura canelé had a strong sakura flavor, which was delicious. It was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, making it very enjoyable. I also tried the matcha canelé, which had a rich matcha flavor and was excellent. The sakura dacquoise had a nice sakura aroma, and the coconut meringue was satisfyingly crunchy with a strong coconut taste. The shop plans to sell sakura sweets until the cherry blossoms bloom in Hokkaido (around April 28th). They also offer a free cookie for LINE friends. I only bought sakura sweets this time, but I'm interested in trying their other cakes next time. Overall, it was a great experience, and I look forward to visiting again in the future!

Currently digesting brief reviews. The shop I chose to stop by is "La Neige." The shop is small and the parking lot is tight, making it difficult to park. I bought the "Canelé Chocolat (¥350)." I still don't have a grasp on the market price for canelés, but I was happy with the large size! Unlike plain canelés, this one is chocolate-flavored, so I was unsure whether to use the oven or not, but I decided to reheat it to enjoy the crispy texture. It has a bitter flavor inside, with a restrained sweetness and a subtle hint of rum. The crispy and chewy texture is great! The contrast between the outer and inner textures is one of the good points of canelés! Whether you like chocolate or not, or if you're not a fan of rum often used in canelés, I think it would be well-received by anyone! In the summer, they also sell soft serve ice cream, so I'll go for that or their cakes next time! Thank you for the meal.

I visited a sweets shop along Sakae Street in December 2022. There is a parking lot in front of the store, but it can be difficult to find a spot. They have a wide variety of baked sweets. This time, I tried the Savarin Rum Raisin. This cake is made of brioche dough soaked in plenty of rum, filled with custard cream and rum raisins. It is a dessert with a strong adult flavor due to the generous amount of rum. The sweetness is also rich, making it a recommended dessert for rum lovers.

【Takeout Available】A long-established Western confectionery store that has been operating a cake shop in the Hongo-dori shopping street for many years ^^ In September 2019, they relocated and opened in the Nango 18 area ^^ The son has taken over as the new general manager in the Nango 18-chome area, marking a fresh start ♬ The location of the shop is right on the border of Shiroishi Ward, so they also have the famous White Stone cake ^^ For the shop's address, please refer to the previous review ^^ It is just a few minutes' walk from Nango 18-chome Station on the Tozai Subway Line. 【Autumn 2022 Revisit】 To celebrate Mochi-tan Day last year, as an annual tradition, they had a hand-drawn cake by Laneju-san. I can't remember the exact price, but I think it was in the 8000 yen range. It took quite a bit of time to make this size of a whole cake, with Miku-san mentioning the rising cost of ingredients. Given the use of precious strawberries and various other factors, I'd say it's a 5.0 in terms of value for money ^^ The hand-drawn cake is said to be a butter cake, with a refined sweetness that makes it very easy to eat. By the way, there are strawberries laid out generously in the middle of the cake as well ♬ With the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, bird flu outbreaks, global food shortages due to climate change, and soaring electricity prices, the confectionery industry, in particular, is facing challenges. I may lack vocabulary, so I can only come up with cliched words, but please do your best (#^.^#) The size was too big to finish in one night, but I managed to enjoy it over 3 days and it was delicious (・ω・)♬

[Takeout available] A long-established Western confectionery store that has been running a cake shop in the Hongo Street shopping district has relocated and reopened in the Nango 18 area in September 2019. The son has taken on the role of general manager in the Nango 18-chome area for a fresh start. They are located right on the border of Shiroishi Ward, so they also have the famous White Stone. The location of the store can be found in the previous review. It's just a few minutes' walk from Nango 18-chome Station on the Tozai Subway Line. I came to make reservations and requests for the upcoming Mogutan Day on October 17, 2022. Now that the sizing and model introductions are done, I'll buy some sweet treats to take home. The cream puff costs 180 yen and has a slightly crispy surface with accents of nuts. The cream inside has a modest sweetness that is characteristic of the shop. If you buy a lot, you might find yourself eating two or three without realizing it because they are so delicious. Looking forward to trying the cakes. Thank you!

Sweet potato on the potato, the sweet potato was delicious with the cream mixed in, but I don't understand why it's on top of a potato. Well, the potato underneath is also tasty, so it's all good.

◼️ Camembert Cheese Cake 593 yen (582 yen/100g) The first bite brings a slight aroma of oil, lacking a sense of luxury. I expected a stronger Camembert flavor and saltiness, but it turned out to be a rather ordinary cheese cake. I think the taste is not very exciting considering the price. ◼️ Rich Catalana 350 yen It is said to be delicious even when frozen, so I froze it. However, I ended up thawing it and eating it. It's not as close to creme brulee as I thought, with a taste more like pudding and a cheesecake texture. It's not very sweet, and there's nothing particularly outstanding about this taste. It's not like the Catalana you would have in a restaurant.

Each dish had a strong flavor profile, but the combination was a bit off. The tart crust was delicious, so it was a bit disappointing. I was reminded that mascarpone goes well with raspberries. I also had a spiced parfait at the cafe.

I purchased from the Sweets Box at Musashi Nakahara Station. I bought "Sweet Potato" and "Camembert Cheese Cake". Both were sold by weight, around 100g each. The Sweet Potato cost 371 yen, and the Camembert Cheese Cake cost 563 yen. The Sweet Potato was moist and comforting. The Cheese Cake had a slightly unclear taste.

I had been curious about L'ange for a long time, so I decided to visit! The store has recently moved, and the interior is fresh and stylish. They have simple cakes priced in the thousand yen range (more like a single serving size). I was particularly interested in the White Stone cake (a cake where they decorate with fresh cream after receiving the order), but since I couldn't eat that much today, I had to give up on it. For immediate consumption, I bought the Sapporo Rare Cheesecake and a cream puff, and for takeout, I got the Pumpkin Pie and Tart Maison. Here are my thoughts on each item: - Sapporo Rare Cheesecake: I had seen this at other stores and was always curious about it. However, since it was usually priced in the 500 yen range, I always ended up buying other cakes and never got to try it. Here, it was priced at 480 yen, and it even came with a macaron that they were selling for 250 yen! The espresso macaron was delicious, with a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. The cake itself was amazing too! The apple part was tasty, but what really stood out was the sponge with a hint of coffee and the rare cheesecake part that wasn't too dense. I hope they make more coffee-flavored cheesecakes in the future. - Cream Puff: It was a bit small, but the crispy pastry with sugar crystals was a nice touch. The generous custard filling was not too heavy, and I could have eaten more. - Pumpkin Pie: I was also interested in the half-apple pie made with half an apple, but since I had just eaten something similar elsewhere, I opted for the pumpkin pie here. The crispy and flaky pastry was thick and layered. The pumpkin filling was mildly sweet, and even though I used it as a main dish, I ended up feeling full. - Tart Maison: A fruit cake filled with raisins and walnuts rolled in tart pastry. The crispy tart pastry, along with the raisins and walnuts, made for a delicious combination. This one was also quite filling, so I ended up using it as a main dish as well. All of them were delicious, but the Sapporo Rare Cheesecake was definitely the highlight of my visit. I think choosing this place was the right decision. I may have the opportunity to try cakes from other places in the future, but it will be hard to top this one. Next time, I would like to splurge on a whole cake. Thank you for the delicious treats!

"Patisserie L'Ange" in Sapporo. I arrived alone at just the right time and had some ramen. It was getting crowded, so I arrived at a good time. Despite the snow, the parking lot was far away, but thankfully there was a cake shop on the way. I was the fifth person in line, with three lively girls in front of me. I had to choose quickly, so I ordered something I didn't quite understand. I got the "Louvre Box" for 1300 yen. The staff provided pleasant service, which was nice. The cake had a surprisingly fluffy texture. I'm not a fan of almonds, and my husband and kids didn't like it either, so my eldest daughter and I ended up eating it. The next day, I found it in the fridge. Was it cocoa? Was it chocolate? It had a mille-feuille-like appearance, with a crispy surface and a mild sweetness. The nuts added a nice aroma and it was delicious.

The location is right on the border of Shiroishi Ward, so they also have the famous White Stone. The shop is located near Nango 18th Avenue Station on the Tozai Line, just a few minutes' walk away. In late autumn of 2021, I once again ordered my usual event cake with a hand-drawn illustration of Hatsune Miku. The artwork was so well done that it felt like a piece of art, making it hard to cut the cake. But once I tasted it, it was delicious and brought happiness. They used an abundance of strawberries, which are not commonly available this time of year. Every year, it takes several hours to hand-draw the Miku illustration on the cake. I imagine the shop doesn't make much profit considering the rising cost of ingredients. I am truly grateful every year. Now I wonder which version of Miku will be the model for this year's cake.

Mont Blanc with Chestnut 3.1 It is much lighter than Italian chestnut Mont Blanc. Personally, I prefer Italian chestnut. Since it costs over 600 yen, unless you have a strong preference, a regular Italian chestnut Mont Blanc should be good enough. Mont Blanc 3.0 (no photo) A Mont Blanc with about 1.5 whole chestnuts on top. The chestnut flavor is at a typical Mont Blanc level. There is a thick tart crust at the bottom, which looks like it's there just to add volume. I personally like cookie crust, but I wished there was more chestnut cream. Giant Apple Pie 3.2 An apple pie as big as a fist. It has a crispy pie crust with another layer of crust, and inside there are apples. The pie is crispy and delicious, but it feels like it fills you up with just the pie. It would be popular if served with mille-feuille or fruit on top of the pie. Pumpkin Pie 3.1 (no photo) A larger pie than the apple pie. The pumpkin filling tasted good, but I wished there was more filling.

Tomorrow is my father-in-law's birthday, so I visited a cake shop to check out their cakes. My father-in-law loves rich and sweet Mont Blanc cakes, so that was my main focus. They had Mont Blanc tart, Mont Blanc with chestnuts, chocolate cake, and strawberry shortcake for the kids. The Mont Blanc tart had chestnuts inside and was delicious. The aroma of the fermented butter in the tart crust gave it a satisfying taste. The Mont Blanc with chestnuts was softer overall in comparison. It's a bit unfair to compare since chestnuts are not the main focus. I decided to buy the Mont Blanc tart for tomorrow. The other cakes were enjoyed by the kids. Everything looks so delicious. I'll try out more tomorrow while I'm there.

This is a place in Shiroishi-ku, along Sakaedori 19-chome near Kiyotadori. It's best to check the exact location on the map on Tabelog as usual. I've always been curious about the soft serve ice cream with the sign and flag outside the shop, so I finally visited the shop for the first time. I parked my car in the parking lot next to the shop, entered the shop, checked the menu, ordered a regular size "waffle cone soft serve ice cream" at the register, paid, and waited for my order. Once I received the soft serve ice cream, I went outside the shop, took the usual photo, returned to my car, and ate it. The soft serve ice cream was quite melted, so I quickly ate the cookie on top first. Then, I hurriedly ate the soft serve ice cream, which had a good balance of vanilla flavor and sweetness, quite a classic soft serve ice cream. Next time I visit this shop, I would like to try their original products like cakes and pastries.

When it gets hot, the symptoms of the designated rare disease I have worsen, especially. Unfortunately, there is still no medication that suits my rare disease. I was hospitalized for rare disease treatment again in April-May, following September last year and January this year. The supportive comments from everyone were a source of energy for me during my hospitalization. I am deeply grateful. I was discharged in early May, but during the check-up at the end of May, the doctor mentioned the possibility of another hospitalization. Depending on the results of the June tests, if I have not recovered by the July appointment, I may need to be hospitalized again in July, with further tests being pushed back by one month. It seems that I may be hospitalized immediately if my condition worsens in July, but it is likely to be after two weeks of receiving the COVID vaccine. The doctor instructed me to confirm my vaccination schedule, and when I inquired with Sapporo City, they mentioned that those aged 65 to 74 would have their vaccinations completed by the end of February next year, a slightly shorter timeline than before. Those under 64 with underlying conditions are given priority, and starting from July, vaccination vouchers are being sent to those with underlying conditions. Prime Minister Suga stated that vaccinations for those aged 65 and over would be completed by July this year, but a recent newspaper article mentioned that both the first and second vaccination rates in Hokkaido are the lowest in the country. Hokkaido has the lowest vaccination rate in the country. As a result, the number of deaths in Hokkaido accounts for 30% to 40% of the national total every day, with more deaths than Tokyo. In such an environment, events like the Olympic marathon are being held. Vaccinations for younger people in Tokyo are progressing even further. Hokkaido feels strongly that it is being abandoned by the government. I ask for your continued support.【July 2021】"Patisserie L'Ange" was visited for the first time this time. I noticed a soft serve ice cream stand in front of the store when I bought "Zangi" nearby. It was hot, so I decided to stop by. I visited with my usual companion for the first time. This store is located in the Eitetsu area of Shiranuka-ku, Sapporo, near the subway station "Nango 18-chome". Please check the exact location of the store on Tabelog. It was a visit in the afternoon around 3 pm on a weekday. There were two customers in front of me and three customers behind me. It is quite a popular store. The store is compact, with "baked sweets" in front and "cakes" on the right. I ordered the "Waffle Cone 400 yen" and enjoyed it on the terrace in front of the store. The soft serve ice cream was a nostalgic soft serve stand♪ At that time, a few nice cakes caught my eye. From among them, I took out the "Seasonal Limited Edition Luxurious Melon Ball 750 yen".■Seasonal Limited Edition Luxurious Melon BallWeight: Actual measurement 475g (after removing the wind bag)The base is half of a small red-fleshed melon. The center seed part is hollowed out. Inside, there is plenty of custard cream and sponge cake. There are also melons, chocolate on whipped cream, and stylish decorations with edible flowers and silver chocolate balls. The melon is coated on the surface to prevent juice from spilling. Price: 750 yen (tax included)■Cake Shop Soft Serve Milk-based, slightly vanilla-flavored. Slightly sweet and a bit nostalgic. The soft serve machine is made by Panasonic or Sanyo. The cone is Nissei's "Waffle Cone," the most common waffle cone. Price: 400 yen (tax included)The "Seasonal Limited Edition Luxurious Melon Ball" is a visually rich dessert. And it is full of juicy goodness. It is a dessert that you can enjoy looking at and eating. 750 yen is a very reasonable and happy price. If it were in the Enzan area of Chuo-ku where I live, it would definitely be a dessert over 1,000 yen. The "Cake Shop Soft Serve" is a somewhat Western-style soft serve ice cream. It's nice to have a soft serve stand. The staff at the store are very friendly.

At the "Early Summer Great Hokkaido Exhibition" held in Kanazawa's Korinbo Yamato, this shop was also set up. Initially, I didn't plan on buying anything, but as I was leaving, I saw the showcase and the desserts looked delicious, so I ended up buying the "Rich Cream Puff for 290 yen" and the "Cheese Tart Rich for 290 yen". The "Rich Cream Puff" had a slightly bread-like texture in the choux pastry, different from a regular cream puff. The cream was ordinary. The "Cheese Tart Rich" was recommended by the staff at the booth to eat with a spoon, and it was indeed easier to eat that way. The taste was rich with a strong cheese flavor and it was delicious.

On a certain weekday, I stopped by a cake shop in the Subway Minami-Sakuragai 18-chome station area that I had bookmarked while on my way home after having lunch. I did not check the parking situation. The shop was of average size for a cake shop, with two showcase counters and display shelves. From the menu that day, I chose a few items that caught my eye, including a "Savarin with Rum Raisins (454 yen)." When I took a bite, I found it to be moderately sweet with slightly oily cream topped with sparkling grains. Underneath was a sponge cake soaked in alcohol-infused raisins with a bit of custard cream in between, making it a punchy treat that might be too strong for children. The "Louvre (389 yen)" seemed to be a collaboration with a nearby coffee stand, Coffee Stand 28, featuring layers of buttercream with plenty of almond slices on top. The coffee flavor was subtly present, and despite being a bit oily, the cake was not too sweet, making it a good accompaniment to coffee. Overall, I enjoyed the unique and high-quality cakes I tried this time, and I look forward to trying more in the future. Thank you for the meal.

My daughter always looks at Instagram, and she received a gift from her. I wonder if it's popular among young people. I'm not sure how she found it, but it's clear that my husband paid for it. The reason they were whispering to each other when I came home from work became clear. And it was a whole cake. It's my daughter's birthday next month, and she asked for something trendy, so I have a bad feeling about it. Edible flowers are stylish. I think I'm better at eating flowers than decorating with them. Maybe the cream was too soft to carry properly, or maybe it was just a loose cream, but there was plenty of soft cream on the sponge, and I thought it would be too sweet and give me heartburn, but even when I tried the cream alone, it had a light and fluffy texture. The sponge cake was firm and had a nice contrast. My daughter monopolized the chocolate on top. The youngest is so carefree. I liked the cream here, so I'm curious about the sliced cake. I have to go see it myself. Thank you (。•ᴗ•。)♡ It was delicious.
