On this day, my friend who loves yakiniku and I visited the popular horumon specialty store "Densuke Temma Store" in Kitaku Naniwamachi, which we had been wanting to visit for a while. "Densuke Temma Store" is the second store of the popular horumon specialty store "Densuke" near the Expo Commemoration Park in Suita, known for its fresh and delicious beef horumon at a reasonable price. The restaurant is located on a back street about a 5-minute walk west from exit 13 of Tenjinbashi-rokuchome Station, with no particular signboard but a lantern with "internal organs specialty" written on it as a landmark. Since both of us finished work late, we made a reservation for 7:45 pm and visited the restaurant! When we entered the restaurant, the first floor was full, so we were guided to a table seat at the back on the second floor. The second floor has about 6 tables for 4 people each, with a roaster and duct installed at each table, ensuring good ventilation. The interior of the restaurant is a simple design using an old private house, with no sense of luxury but well-maintained and hygienic. There were 3 male staff members in the restaurant, with a young man serving on the second floor. First, we checked the menu on the table and found about 30 types of horumon, as well as horumon assortments in large, medium, and small sizes, and about 20 side dishes such as white liver sashimi, motsu-ni, and chireyukke. There were also about 10 rice dishes such as the famous tamagokake gohan and Densuke curry, beef toro chashu don, and 5 types of soups. This restaurant mainly serves horumon yaki, but they also offer hot pot dishes such as motsu nabe and chiritori nabe. The prices are mostly between 500 yen and 1,000 yen, making it very reasonable. As for drinks, draft beer, highball, shochu are priced at 528 yen, chu-hai at 473 yen, and soft drinks at 275 yen, with fair pricing. I had a highball, and my friend had a chu-hai lemon to cheers! We started with a kimchi assortment as an appetizer, and ordered an assortment of horumon yaki (small) and 5 types of horumon. For the finale, I had rice and egg soup, and my friend had beef toro chashu don. The kimchi assortment consisted of three types of kimchi - Chinese cabbage, daikon, and cucumber, which were not very spicy but full of umami and delicious. The must-try horumon was the salted tongue! The thick slices of salted tongue served on a silver plate had a powerful visual appeal. Grilled on the roaster and enjoyed with lemon juice, it was refreshing and delicious. The horumon yaki assortment (small) was also served on a silver plate! The assortment included 11 types of horumon, such as cotecchan, maruchou, mouchou, mino, hachinosu, senmai, akasen, heart, necktie, fuku, and hatsumoto, which were quite voluminous and surprising. Although each piece was large, it was enough for two people to share. The horumon was fresh and of high quality, with the umami and sweetness of the horumon and fat spreading in the mouth as you chew. Next, the grilled liver arrived! The grilled liver was also served on a silver plate! It was delicious, with each bite spreading the umami and sweetness of the liver.
