Ramen Tamura @ Fuse / Rich Oil Soba
On this holiday, I decided to visit a restaurant in Fuse to eat something. I quickly got ready and took the train from Nihonbashi to the nearest Fuse station. It's been a while since I last got off at Fuse, but it doesn't seem to have changed much. As I walked from the station, I passed by a famous restaurant in Fuse. That's "Ramen Tamura." The last time I visited was about 5 years ago, I think I had the Kim Tamura back then. Going back to the story, when I passed by the front of the restaurant, I noticed that there were no customers inside. I thought this was lucky and decided to stop by here as well (laughs). I bought a meal ticket from the vending machine, and since I had already tried the tsukemen, ramen, and Kim Tamura, I decided to go for the limited edition rich oil soba. I wanted to go for the large portion, but considering my plans afterwards, I settled for the regular size. I handed over the meal ticket, sat at an available seat, waited for a while, and then the dish was served. Even the regular size has quite a volume. On top of the noodles, there were shredded meat, green onions, flavored egg, and bamboo shoots. In the center, there was shichimi togarashi sprinkled on top. So, I mixed it well and took a bite. The sauce had a rich taste as the name suggests, with a slightly more liquid texture compared to regular oil soba. The shichimi togarashi did a great job, so I could enjoy the rich flavor until the end without getting tired of it. The noodles were medium thick, with a slightly firm texture that coated well with the sauce. Of course, it was very satisfying to eat. The balance of toppings was also good, especially the shredded meat connected the noodles and other ingredients and sauce nicely. If I didn't have plans afterwards, I would have wanted to add rice at the end. Well, that will have to wait for the next opportunity. I'm starting to feel like trying the Kim Tamura again after a long time.
