Visited the popular "Raamen Tamura" known for their generous servings. The opening hours are a bit later than other ramen shops, starting at 12:00, and they are closed on Sundays, so it was hard to find the right timing to visit. The main dish is chicken and pork bone ramen, but this time I was intrigued by the reviews praising the rich flavor, so I opted for the maze-soba. It cost 1,000 yen and came with shredded meat, green onions, flavored egg, bamboo shoots, bonito flakes, and other luxurious toppings. The noodles were thick and straight, with a firm texture. The sauce was a rich soy sauce-based seasoning with a hint of bonito flakes, creating a delicious broth. I thoroughly enjoyed mixing everything together to savor the rich flavors of the maze-soba. Towards the end, I was quite full due to the intense flavors. The owner was handling everything alone efficiently, providing attentive service that made the dining experience enjoyable. I visited on a Saturday at 11:50 AM, and there was only one person waiting in line before me.

It's been about 16 years since my last visit to this place! I think this was the original location, right? I remember visiting shortly after the store opened. I've tried to come back a few times since then, but the timing never seemed to work out. It's located a little less than a 5-minute walk from Fuse Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. I parked at the nearest coin parking lot and went in. Inside, there's a ticket machine on the right, and the counter is straight ahead and to the left. I decided to go for the chicken and pork bone ramen, with extra seasoned egg and rice. I also added some fried chicken. The ramen had a rich and mild flavor with plenty of pork and chicken fat, and a soy sauce base. The bright red powder sprinkled on top didn't add much spiciness. The chashu was thickly sliced, and there were three pieces along with bamboo shoots, garlic sprouts, and a seasoned egg. The medium-thick wavy noodles had a nice chewiness to them. The seasoned egg was perfectly runny. The fried chicken was huge and crispy, with a flavorful sauce. The owner was friendly and cheerful. If I have the chance, I'd like to try their summer limited-time ramen next time. Thank you for the meal! (Revisited on 09/01/2023) 149 bowls [Ramen: 107, Rice: 33, Others: 09]

I visited the restaurant alone for the first time in 10 years. There is no parking lot. I ordered the Japanese-style chicken broth ramen. Unlike the trendy long noodles, this ramen had shorter noodles and the soup had a strong salty flavor with a Japanese twist. They mentioned that the noodles will change starting in September, so I would like to come back and try it again.

Thick Chinese ramen with chashu bowl, regular thick Chinese ramen. The noodles are really thick and delicious. They have a satisfying chewiness. However, the soup is too salty to eat. The chashu slices are incredibly thick, also providing a satisfying eating experience, but they are too salty as well. It would be better if they were a bit milder, as it is quite intense. As for the chashu bowl, I don't like the sweet and salty flavor, so I gave up after the first bite. Thank you for the meal.

On a slightly hot Monday, I got off at Fuse Station as a mini train enthusiast. I had been wanting to visit this place for a while, but for some reason, I still hadn't been able to go. The last time I tried, it was a Wednesday and they were closed. Among the various choices available, I decided to go with the thick noodles ramen for 980 yen and an extra topping of bamboo shoots for 120 yen, totaling 1100 yen. I took a seat at the counter, helped myself to some ice water, and eagerly awaited my bowl. When it arrived, I was impressed by the thick slices of pork and the generous amount of bamboo shoots. The noodles were thick and straight. I enjoyed combining the bamboo shoots with the noodles for a luxurious experience. The soup was a bit salty, not as dark as the ramen at Takaida, but still delicious. It paired well with the thick noodles. This time I chose the ramen, but I look forward to trying their dipping noodles, mixed noodles, and chilled ramen in the future. Thank you for the meal! Finally, I asked the chef, "Is the recommended option on the top left of the vending machine?" He replied with a smile, "No, it's just the order in which they were made, or maybe check the handwritten whiteboard." The chef had a great smile. I felt bad for stopping him.

Ramen Tamura @ Fuse / Rich Oil Soba On this holiday, I decided to visit a restaurant in Fuse to eat something. I quickly got ready and took the train from Nihonbashi to the nearest Fuse station. It's been a while since I last got off at Fuse, but it doesn't seem to have changed much. As I walked from the station, I passed by a famous restaurant in Fuse. That's "Ramen Tamura." The last time I visited was about 5 years ago, I think I had the Kim Tamura back then. Going back to the story, when I passed by the front of the restaurant, I noticed that there were no customers inside. I thought this was lucky and decided to stop by here as well (laughs). I bought a meal ticket from the vending machine, and since I had already tried the tsukemen, ramen, and Kim Tamura, I decided to go for the limited edition rich oil soba. I wanted to go for the large portion, but considering my plans afterwards, I settled for the regular size. I handed over the meal ticket, sat at an available seat, waited for a while, and then the dish was served. Even the regular size has quite a volume. On top of the noodles, there were shredded meat, green onions, flavored egg, and bamboo shoots. In the center, there was shichimi togarashi sprinkled on top. So, I mixed it well and took a bite. The sauce had a rich taste as the name suggests, with a slightly more liquid texture compared to regular oil soba. The shichimi togarashi did a great job, so I could enjoy the rich flavor until the end without getting tired of it. The noodles were medium thick, with a slightly firm texture that coated well with the sauce. Of course, it was very satisfying to eat. The balance of toppings was also good, especially the shredded meat connected the noodles and other ingredients and sauce nicely. If I didn't have plans afterwards, I would have wanted to add rice at the end. Well, that will have to wait for the next opportunity. I'm starting to feel like trying the Kim Tamura again after a long time.

From Kintetsu Fuse Station, about a 5-minute walk north... The name of the restaurant is not "Ramen" but "Raamen," showing the owner's attention to detail. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday and decided on the "Japanese-style Chicken Ramen" from the menu on the ticket machine. The hot chicken broth with curly noodles, topped with two large slices of pork, seaweed, garlic sprouts, and red paprika powder, was innovative and delicious. The combination of classic chicken broth and curly noodles was perfect. The generous pork slices, seaweed, garlic sprouts, and red paprika powder toppings all worked well together. A unique and high-quality "Japanese-style Chicken Ramen." Thank you for the meal!

Whenever I stop by Fuse in Higashi Osaka, I always want to visit this restaurant. I think all the ramen here is delicious. You can feel the determination of the owner in the ramen. The owner may look intimidating, but he is actually a very nice person. As you become a regular customer, he will start chatting with you. Personally, I recommend the Ensanjo Ramen. The photo is of the limited edition Kim Tamago ramen.

I exited the ticket gate at Kintetsu Fuse Station around lunchtime and walked about 3 minutes northeast from the Sega side to arrive at the restaurant. Inside, I purchased my meal from the ticket machine and then sat at the counter, which can seat about 10 people and has a simple and clean atmosphere. There were no tissues or extra amenities, but despite some nervousness from reading various Google reviews, everything seemed normal. The table manners were common sense and different from what was mentioned in older reviews and photos, so I felt at ease as I waited for my bowl of noodles. The dish consisted of thick noodles in soy sauce broth with green onions, bamboo shoots, bonito flakes, finely chopped pork shoulder, seaweed, and a half-boiled egg on top. The generous amount of ingredients required thorough mixing to ensure the flavors were evenly distributed, and the noodles had a firm texture that was satisfying to eat. The salty taste of the broth, combined with the aroma of garlic and the refreshing taste of seaweed, added a nice touch to the dish. The finely chopped pork shoulder was flavorful with the broth, and the half-boiled egg had a slightly creamy texture that complemented the dish well. With 220g of noodles and plenty of toppings, I was quite full after finishing the meal, but I would like to try other ramen dishes in the future. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Ramen Tamura (located in Higashi Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) was founded in June 2007 and relocated to its current location in August 2011. They specialize in chicken-based ramen. I tried their Tonkotsu Seafood Tsukemen (regular size 220g) priced at ¥1180. The noodles were thin and had a chewy texture, with a hint of sweetness. The dipping sauce had a light and savory taste, combining the mellow flavors of chicken and pork with seafood broth and a touch of saltiness. The toppings included a flavorful chashu, tender menma, tasty seasoned egg, seaweed, and green onions. The noodles and dipping sauce complemented each other well, creating a rich and satisfying taste experience. If you're a ramen lover, this place is definitely worth a visit!

"Laamen Tamura (Higashi Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), established in June 2007 and relocated to the current location in August 2011, offers ramen mainly focused on chicken. On December 27, 2022, I tried their Japanese-style chicken broth ramen for ¥980, with seasoned egg for ¥120. The soup was light with a hint of richness, featuring a hot steam that brought out the aroma of the ingredients. The hot soup, which is tongue-scalding, had a gentle chicken flavor with just the right amount of oil to give it thickness. The balance was well-rounded with a refreshing taste and a seafood broth. The thin, glossy noodles from Tsurumi Seimen had a slightly short length, making it easy to slurp and allowing it to carry the soup well. The noodles had a light texture, and the flavor and aroma spread widely. The toppings included: chashu pork, seasoned with a slightly sweet sauce that balanced well with the meat's umami and had a tender texture; seasoned egg, with a creamy yolk that enhanced the sweetness of the sauce; garlic sprouts; seaweed; and paprika powder. The soup, supported by the umami of chicken and seafood, intertwined with the noodles, gradually increasing in depth as I ate. I enjoyed a clear yet deep soy sauce ramen that became thicker and more satisfying as I continued to eat. #LaamenTamura #SoySauceRamen #OsakaRamen #OsakaGourmet #HigashiOsaka"

When I was living in Higashi-Osaka City, I visited the first ramen shop I ever tried. I wanted to eat there again after a long time. It's recommended to check on social media to see if the shop is open! This time, I ordered the mixed noodles. Huh... it feels like something is missing compared to before. They also have limited-time menu items!

I visited "Raamen Tamura," which has been on the top of my list of places to visit for a while. I arrived just after noon, and there was one other customer already there. I ordered the Japanese-style chicken broth ramen. It arrived in about 7-8 minutes. When I asked if I could take a picture, the owner jokingly pretended to pose before finally saying, "Just kidding!" The broth had a strong bonito flavor, with hints of seaweed that added a nice touch. The noodles had a good texture, and the thick chashu pork was delicious with its sweet and rich flavor. The garlic sprouts with paprika added a refreshing touch without overpowering the broth. Overall, it was a unique and delicious bowl of ramen. The owner's quirky personality added to the experience. Thank you for the meal, in more ways than one!

"Ramen Tamura": For today's lunch, I had the Japanese-style chicken broth tsukemen (dipping noodles) at "Ramen Tamura" for 1300 yen. Wait, 1300 yen? Oh, I didn't realize they had raised the prices during this pandemic. It used to be 1130 yen. The restaurant had protective barriers in place for COVID-19 measures. Self-service for water and hand towels, but the water was terrible (yuck). Anyway, the Japanese-style chicken broth tsukemen here has a great balance. The noodles have a good texture, and the chicken broth soup is delicious. The chashu pork has a strong presence and the seasoned egg and bamboo shoots complement each other well. The finishing touch is addictive! You'll want to come back for more right away! The opening hours of "Ramen Tamura" are a bit mysterious, but I will definitely go back again. If only the water was cold, "Ramen Tamura" would be perfect! Thank you for the meal!

In 2011, the shop relocated to its current location. Known for its original and unique ramen, it is a popular spot in the area. ▼Menu▼ Menu items include: Wafu chicken broth ramen, chicken pork bone ramen, thick Chinese soba, abura soba, Wafu chicken broth tsukemen, pork bone seafood tsukemen, and chashu rice bowl. ▼Food Consumed▼ ▽Thick Chinese Soba 900 yen▽ (July 2021) The visual of the simple ingredients of two types of chashu, green onions, and menma in the Chinese soba. The soup is a chicken broth-based soup with a hint of seafood and a strong flavor of light soy sauce, similar to the Takaida style. It has a bold soy sauce flavor with a light yet rich taste. The noodles are thick straight noodles from Tsurumi Seimen in Joto-ku. The noodles have a good texture and are cooked well. They have a smooth and chewy texture, which is delicious. There are two types of chashu, one is a thick belly chashu that is moist and good, and the other is shredded chashu, which is also soft and surprisingly delicious. ▼Impressions▼ (July 2021) Located along Yanagi Street in the Nagahashi area northeast of Kintetsu Fuse Station, this is one of the popular ramen shops in the Fuse area. Established in Ashiroshinmachi, west of Fuse Station in 2007, it became popular. In 2011, it moved to the current location in Nagahashi. Known for its simple yet original ramen, it offers limited-time menu items that are also popular. I visited this place after a long time. This time, I tried the thick Chinese soba from the menu above. The taste was as described, with a soy sauce and thick noodle Takaida-style flavor that is characteristic of this shop and was delicious. In the midst of enthusiastic supporters, there are unique reviews from critics that caught my attention. The exterior of the shop gives off the impression of an old ramen shop, with only a counter and L-shaped tables inside. I chose the chicken and pork bone broth, which was unusually rich and the noodles were almost buried in the broth. The standout feature was the thick, large slices of chashu. The noodles were more hard than chewy, and the saltiness seemed to overpower the flavor. I couldn't gauge the popularity of this place, so I decided to visit a second time. I tried the spicy oil seafood pork bone dipping noodles for 1100 yen, with an extra large portion for 200 yen, totaling 1300 yen. The lunch menu offers good options. The dipping sauce contained thick, large slices of roasted pork and an overwhelming amount of raw garlic. The garlic flavor lingered on my palate for half a day. The soy sauce saltiness was also quite strong. It felt like various ingredients were added excessively, resulting in an overly intense flavor. While this may appeal to those who enjoy salty foods, I found it hard to believe that this alone could justify the high praise. I felt the need to further explore this place. The noodles were plentiful and hard.

This is my second visit. Even though it was almost closing time, they kindly let me in. Last time, I was interested in the abura soba, but due to the cold weather, I opted for the same chicken and pork bone ramen as last time. The chashu was thick, tender, and delicious. My partner ordered the abura soba, and I was able to try it, and it was also delicious. Personally, I preferred the ramen. Once again, the friendliness of the manager left a strong impression.

It's about a 5-minute walk north of Busshi Station. I visited around 6:30 pm on a weekday. There was one other group of customers already there. They had a variety of menu options, but this time I tried the limited miso ramen and chashu rice bowl. You order at the ticket machine right after entering the shop. There were partitions at the counter for splash prevention. It seems like they are also mindful of infection prevention. The noodles arrived first, followed by the chashu rice bowl. The owner prepared everything efficiently by himself. The miso ramen had thick chashu on the bottom and plenty of vegetables. The chashu rice bowl had the sauce soaked into the rice. The miso ramen had a strong flavor, so maybe just the noodles alone or with plain rice would have been good too. I'm full! Thank you for the meal!

The front of the store is often passed by car, but I rarely had the chance to stop by. This time, I was on foot, so I decided to enter the store and not miss the opportunity. As it was getting colder and I was in the mood for a light soy flavor, I chose the Japanese-style chicken broth ramen this time. I also ordered a pork bowl. The soup had a slight acidity, which I personally didn't mind. The medium-thick curly noodles seemed to go well with it. The thick slices of pork provided a satisfying bite. The pork bowl was delicious with plenty of pork and flavorful sauce soaked into the rice. I knew that the rules inside the store were strict, but since I'm the type who quietly eats without talking after taking a photo, it didn't bother me much. Although I can't help but want to check my emails or LINE messages when they come in... Next time, if there's a seasonal limited edition flavor or a miso option posted, I would like to try that, or else the chicken and pork bone broth, and maybe some gyoza as well.

I had been curious about this ramen shop for a while, but every time I felt like having ramen, they were closed or the timing didn't work out, so I couldn't go. Finally, the timing was right and I was able to go! I was interested in the limited miso ramen, but for now I went with the classic chicken and pork bone ramen. The interior of the shop was more spacious than it looked from the outside. Despite the irregular business hours, there were three customers inside. It seems like they have a loyal fan base! The customer next to me was eating something that looked like abura soba, and that also looked delicious. The ramen, with medium-thick noodles, was served in about 10 minutes. The ramen looked delicious with big chunks of chashu! The chashu was tender with a slightly tangy flavor, which was unique and tasty. The bamboo shoots were delicious and the noodles were smooth and tasty! I usually prefer thin noodles, but these noodles were also delicious in their own way. My partner chose the chicken broth soy sauce ramen, and I tried a bit of it. It seemed to go really well with the noodles. Above all, the atmosphere and smile of the owner were great, making it a ramen shop that I would want to visit again. Thank you for the meal! ⭐︎
