The evolving seafood bowl is a very popular dish at the restaurant✨ @sakanafactory_yanagibashi. Introducing the white seafood bowl, which includes amberjack, scallops, red shrimp, crab miso egg white, and more. *Ikura can be added as a topping. It’s served with a unique salt sauce that makes it delicious. I’m always impressed by how dynamic this shop is, as they are constantly trying new things. It’s so popular that when I visited on a weekday right after it opened, it was already full, and there was a line outside by the time I left. If you visit Meieki, be sure to try it out!

I visited the Sakanafactory Yanagibashi Central Market location. I ordered the "Mazetoro Seafood Bowl Extreme" for ¥3,610 and the "Red Shrimp Koyaku Bowl" for ¥1,690. Since the new store opened in Yanagibashi, I was excited to grab some food on my way home from work. I had my sights set on the seafood bowl, and I couldn’t help but be drawn in by the extreme portion size. I went for double the Mazetoro and added extra ikura (salmon roe).
The bowl was overflowing with a mix of salmon, amberjack, and tuna. The egg yolk flowed down over the rice, which had pickled daikon mixed in for added texture. I heard I could also make it with red shiso rice, enhancing the fish's natural flavors. Eating it with broth was absolutely the best. It wasn’t just visually appealing; it was truly delicious! The shrimp were plump and juicy without any unpleasant smell—so addictive. I was also pleased to see tobiko (fish roe) on top, which is a personal favorite of mine.
I recommend trying the fish skewers that are exclusive to the Yanagibashi store:
- Salmon with ikura and grated daikon: ¥430
- Tuna with green onion: ¥480
- Shishamo (smelt): ¥280
- Amberjack with spicy cod roe and perilla: ¥430
- Squid with ginger: ¥280
Each skewer is grilled to perfection and beautifully presented. It’s ideal for enjoying with a drink or when you want to snack a little at a time. I absolutely love the menu here and want to try everything. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal! ✨

I went for a slightly late lunch around 2 PM. Even though it was a Sunday, there was no wait, and I was able to get in right away. After placing my order, I didn’t have to wait long, and my food was served in about 5 minutes! I followed the restaurant's recommended way to enjoy the dish and had a delicious meal.

I went to Sakana Factory Yanagibashi Central Market in search of a seared salmon bowl. I kept thinking about the seared salmon… but wait? It’s not on the menu… There’s no mixed seared salmon bowl… So I reluctantly ordered the Salmon Deluxe Bowl with extra mixed toppings. As expected, the price was a bit on the higher side. Thank you for the meal!

I tried to go to the Shimizu-guchi location, but it was closed, so I went to this store instead. There's no parking available, so if you're driving, you'll need to find a nearby lot. I had the salmon-dominated bowl and the fish menchi-katsu. The salmon came as sashimi and seared, allowing for different textures to enjoy. What stood out the most was the transparent soy sauce! Inside it, they had yuzu pepper! When mixed and drizzled over the dish, it was incredibly delicious! I also tried it with wasabi, but the transparent soy sauce with yuzu pepper was definitely better! The staff's choice of "Let's go with this!" was spot on! As for the menchi-katsu, it was… not that great, I suppose. Haha.

I visited a seafood bowl restaurant where the shrimp and salmon roe were fresh, large, and very delicious. It also looks great in photos. However, the price-to-value ratio is a bit off. The restaurant is small, which contributed to the issue of staff bumping into me silently multiple times as they passed by, making it hard to enjoy my meal leisurely.

I often see a line at this restaurant, so when I happened to pass by at 11 AM on a Sunday and noticed that there were still seats available for the first round, I decided to have lunch here. I ordered the mixed seafood rice bowl. It looked luxurious and really got me excited, but it was smaller than I had imagined—about the size of a large teacup. I thought, "Would this be enough for a man?" There was a card explaining how to eat it. First, you try it with salt, then with wasabi-soy sauce, followed by the restaurant's special sesame sauce, and finally with sea bream broth. It was great to enjoy these different flavors. I particularly loved the sea bream broth—it was so delicious that I could drink it on its own, haha. The dessert was a gentle-tasting warabimochi, which was also delicious.

I had the mixed rice set for 1600 yen. I went before 11 AM on Saturday and was able to get in right away, but after 11 AM, there was a bit of a line. The fish was fresh and delicious, as expected! They offer a free large serving of rice with a Tabelog coupon, but the default serving is already quite large, so I recommend that women order a smaller portion. The dipping sauce and sea bream broth were quite light, and I personally prefer a broth with a bit more depth for a flavor change, but I would still like to try other menu items at this restaurant.

I visited for a Saturday lunch feeling a bit hungover. I really wanted to eat rice, so I entered the restaurant. As a huge fan of salmon, I ordered the grilled salmon rice bowl. It had a delightful combination of salt, soy sauce, special sauce, and sea bream broth. It also came with a dessert. I couldn't stop enjoying it. Yum! Definitely a great factory for delicious food.

I recommend a visually appealing seafood bowl with an exciting step-by-step way to enjoy it. You can start by eating it with just salt, then move on to wasabi and soy sauce. It also comes with sesame dressing on the side, and finally, you can turn it into a delicious tea rice porridge with sea bream broth. I also ordered miso soup as an addition. Personally, I found the hand-mixed wasabi to inspire various thoughts, adding to the visual appeal. Additionally, there’s the question of when to crack the raw egg that comes with it. I believe it might be better to eat it separately from the sea bream broth to really appreciate the flavor of the broth, and the egg could have complemented the sashimi nicely. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable to try different ways of eating at a reasonable price with generous portion sizes. Plus, it came with dessert at the end, which was satisfying. However, the restaurant is quite compact with limited seating, and while I understand the desire to increase turnover, I found it a bit unsettling when staff repeatedly came to clear away plates while we were still eating. That part was a little disappointing.

I ordered the "Thickly Cut Grilled Salmon Bowl" priced at 1,790 yen, the "Extra Rice Mix" for 900 yen, and a "Large Ikura Topping" for 950 yen. Located a 6-minute walk from Nagoya Station, this popular seafood bowl restaurant opened last year in the Yanagibashi area. The "Thickly Cut Grilled Salmon Bowl," which is exclusive to the Yanagibashi Central Market branch, comes with a small side dish, pickles, sea bream broth, and dessert.
The wonderfully aromatic grilled salmon, combined with an egg yolk and the restaurant's signature mixed topping, was incredibly delicious, and I can see why it's so popular! ✨️ As a finishing touch, I added seasoning and poured the sea bream broth over the seafood bowl, which made a delicious rice porridge. With its great location near Nagoya Station, I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!

Second visit. It was Sunday at 11 AM, and I had to wait 30 minutes. I ordered my favorite red shrimp bowl with an extra 4 pieces! It felt like the amount of shrimp had decreased since the last time I visited a year ago. I can't help but think about the price increases everyone is experiencing. However, the special sauce and salt were still as delicious as ever, and the satisfaction with the taste was high! You can also get some broth to pour over it, which is delicious to drink on its own as well. The seafood bowls and eel and egg bowls that others around me ordered also looked delicious!

I've always seen this restaurant with a long line, and even though I wanted to stop by, I ended up passing by. But guess what? I waited in line for about 40 minutes this time! If I didn't have the time, I probably wouldn't have done it. I think the restaurant has recommended menu items, but this time I ordered what I wanted to eat. There are many options like shrimp rice bowls and eel with eggs, but I chose the two dishes in the photos. When something is really delicious, all you can say is "it's delicious!" I believe it’s important to enhance your satisfaction by trying different flavor variations and comparing tastes. It’s all about maximizing that satisfaction at the time of payment! I definitely encourage everyone to give it a try!

This popular seafood rice bowl restaurant near Shimizu Station has a second location close to Yanagibashi Market, known as a kitchen for the Nagoya area. The portion size for the price is about average. The interior is small, so it may not be suitable for long stays.
◆Mixed Toro Seafood Bowl (Double Portion of Mixed Toro)
At this restaurant, you enjoy the seafood bowl in a manner similar to eating hitsumabushi, taking some into a small dish and varying the seasoning with salt, wasabi soy sauce, and sauce. At the end, you pour the tai (sea bream) broth over it for a broth-soaked rice dish.
◆Premium Malt Beer
This restaurant is certified for its "divine bubbles." If you enjoy alcohol, starting with this beer for your first drink seems to be a great choice.

I had shrimp bowl, and it was really delicious! I visited Nagoya during my trip and found this appealing place to eat, and it was definitely the right choice! The staff was really friendly and talked to me, asking where I was from. The shrimp bowl was tasty, and the dessert, which was warabi mochi, was just amazing too! ❤️

Since I'm living alone for work, I thought I would treat myself to some seafood and decided to take a stroll around the Yanagibashi Central area. I saw a sign for a seafood bowl that looked incredibly delicious, so I checked it out. My colleague had a tuna bowl, but I opted for the mixed seafood bowl. The taste was rich and fresh, and it was really delicious. The rice wasn’t vinegar rice, but regular white rice, and the portion was quite generous, leaving me feeling very full. It's a cozy little restaurant, making it a perfect spot for a quick seafood bowl.

I visited a popular seafood restaurant in Nagoya on a Saturday right after they opened, but the place was already full with two groups waiting ahead of me. After about 20 minutes, I was able to enter the restaurant. Although I was tempted by their seafood rice bowls, I decided to order the unadon tamagoyaki hitsumabushi (2,180 yen). The bowl that arrived was visually impressive. The eel and eggs were both fluffy, and they paired wonderfully together. Unlike traditional hitsumabushi, I could enjoy the amount of eel I wanted—whether more eel, more rice, or just eggs and rice—allowing me to savor a variety of flavors, which is a great feature of the dish. They also offered small-sized desserts, making for a satisfying lunch experience!

I went for lunch. There were about four groups ahead of me, but I was able to get in fairly quickly. While I was waiting in line, they asked us to write our name on a piece of paper, and instead of calling us, they crossed off the names of those who had ordered. There was no restroom available, and I was told to go to a nearby convenience store or a pachinko parlor, which made me unsure if permission had been obtained.
I ordered the mixed seafood bowl for 1,790 yen. It was tasty, but the quantity didn’t justify the price. The sashimi was quite limited, and the rice was packed tightly. Considering it’s a bit far from the station, is the price set for Instagram appeal? The special sauce was a common flavor that everyone has experienced before. It wasn't bad, but at this price, it's tough to recommend. Thank you for the meal.

You can enjoy rice bowls even at night. (Of course, there are also a la carte dishes.) This bowl features shrimp on top of rice with seasonal toppings. It can be enjoyed with a rich sauce that tastes like sesame, along with salt, soy sauce, and broth, allowing for various ways to eat it. I personally preferred it with soy sauce.

I visited for lunch! I arrived a little earlier than opening time, and they opened right away for me to come in. By the official opening time, the restaurant was already full! I had the boiled red shrimp rice bowl, which was truly filled with plump red shrimp. The rice wasn't just plain vinegar rice; it had perilla leaves and pickled radish mixed in, making it delicious!

This was my first visit for a solo lunch. The inside of the restaurant was small, and there weren't many seats. Even though it had only been about 10 minutes since opening, there were already two groups of customers. I ordered the mixed seafood bowl, and it was delicious. I wish I could have removed the pickled radish since I'm not fond of it. As I was eating, more and more customers arrived, and by the time I left, there was a waiting line.

I suddenly wanted to eat a seafood bowl after a long time, so I visited this restaurant that I had been curious about. I arrived just before lunchtime on a weekday, and the restaurant was almost full. My order was served in less than 5 minutes. While the portion felt a bit lacking, I enjoyed it deliciously.
