Lunch today was at Kyobashi (Higashinoda). It's a support lunch for a restaurant that is still open despite the pandemic. I had the "Ramen Karaage Set" at a ramen shop called "Kishu Wakayama Ramen Takashi" located just north of the Higashinoda intersection on Route 1. I ordered the ramen with a "rich" broth. This shop, "Kishu Wakayama Ramen Takashi," was established in 2004. It's one of the oldest ramen shops in the Kyobashi area, second only to "Ramen Kotan" in Coms Garden. Despite not having a prime location slightly away from the bustling area of Kyobashi, they are doing their best. Now, about the ramen here. The soup is a pork bone-based soy sauce broth made by simmering chicken bones and pork knuckles, among other ingredients. The noodles are thin, topped with two slices of pork belly chashu, two thick menma (bamboo shoots), naruto, seaweed, and chopped green onions in the center. I really love the pork bone soy sauce broth here. I always end up finishing it all. By the way, the karaage set comes with white rice, three pieces of karaage, and shredded cabbage. The Ramen Karaage Set was so delicious!

August 5, 2023 (Saturday) night, clear weather "Takashi" - 7-12 minutes from Osaka-jo Kita-ume station / Kyobashi station Ramen Score: E class [S, AA-F] Thick ramen: ¥800 Toppings: Chashu 2 pieces: ¥90 each, Ajitama: ¥140, Thick menma 2 pieces: ¥20 each Total = ¥1,160 Discussion: Mixing sesame seeds and black pepper into the ramen made the chashu fall apart and the taste and texture weren't good. The soup was not tasty either, and even the egg and menma were not enjoyable. Overall, nothing was delicious. Impression: I deleted my bookmark a few years ago due to poor access, but I decided to give it another try after work. I was excited to try Wakayama ramen, but it was a complete disappointment. Is this really "Wakayama ramen"? I can't believe how bad it was. I wasted 35 minutes walking from Keihan / Subway Kitahama station and the owner was unimpressive. I really don't want to come across such places. I should have just gone to the supermarket on my way home from work and bought discounted side dishes. Taste: ✘ Deliciousness: ✘ Richness: △ Cost performance: △ Volume: ✘ Customization: △ Staff / Customer service: △ Happiness: ✘ Chaos: - Showa era vibes: - Queue: None Likelihood of revisiting: ✘✘✘✘✘

The original flavor ramen and gyoza set for 980 yen. The unique thing about this place is that you can add toppings like one slice of chashu and one piece of menma to the Wakayama ramen. The gyoza was average, probably store-bought. The small rice is free, so I recommend adding chashu to make a chashu rice bowl and fully enjoy the restaurant's charm. Next time, I will try a seafood chashu rice bowl.

- Ordered item: Wakayama Chinese noodle base flavor ramen for 780 yen - Dish: A simple Wakayama ramen with a smooth soup made by simmering chicken bones, joints, and more for two days to remove any bitterness. The balance between the noodles and soup is exquisite. The chashu was also very tender. The soup has a slimy texture, blending a sense of freshness and tradition. It's delicious!

2023.5.29 63 bowls of noodles ◾︎ Takashi ◾︎ Osaka City Miyakojima Ward ◾︎ [Order] Ramen and Gyoza Set Meal [Impression] I was out in the morning today, so on my way back I stopped by "Takashi"✨ This place is highly regarded for its delicious Wakayama ramen‼️ I felt like having something rich and also wanted to eat rice and gyoza, so I decided to order the Ramen and Gyoza Set Meal. The thick and rich soy sauce pork bone broth perfectly complements the noodles✨ The extra thick menma adds a satisfying chewiness, very delicious✨ The gyoza is also perfectly cooked, and it tastes great dipped in the gyoza sauce or soaked in the rich ramen soup‼️ Oh, it's been a while since I had such delicious Wakayama ramen✨ Thank you for the meal✨

Today, because it's chilly, I came to Kishu Wakayama Ramen Takashi, where a bowl of hot soup is delicious. You can choose from three types of soup: original, rich, and light. The fried chicken was freshly fried and juicy. Kishu Wakayama Ramen Takashi, Osaka, Osaka City, Miyakojima-ku, Nakanocho 2-1-18.

I went to a place. I'm Takashi. I had tsukemen. The tsukemen had a strong oil flavor, with a layer of oil on top. It was a bit too much. The noodles were smooth and delicious. The dipping sauce was quite sweet. Well, it was a typical tsukemen with a strong oil flavor and a sweet taste.

I had been curious about the restaurant "Takashi" for a while, and finally tried it for the first time with my wife for lunch on a holiday. We ordered the ramen with fried chicken set (980 yen) and added "gyoriki" (seafood & dried fish powder?). It arrived in about 10 minutes, and we enjoyed the ramen with a soup typical of Wakayama-style ramen. It was delicious. Truly, Takashi's ramen! I recommend it to ramen enthusiasts like Mr. Imaitakahiko!

Today, I was planning to have lunch somewhere on my way home from Umeda by bicycle, and I decided to stop by here, a place where I can have Wakayama ramen that I saw somewhere before. Of course, I ordered the Ramen Motoaji! It was as expected, a delicious pork bone soy sauce ramen.

After a long time, I had a day off. Unfortunately, it was drizzling. So I decided to visit "Kishu Wakayama Ramen Takashi" for some delicious food nearby. - Arrival time: 12:50 PM - Crowdedness: 80% I ordered the Ramen and Karaage set meal with the original flavor. - Serving time: 7 minutes The bowl was placed upside down on a shelf above the noodle boiling pot. A very efficient way to warm up the bowl (surprising). Let's dig in. The soup was not too oily or salty, but it had a rich and definite deliciousness! The chicken bone and pork bone broth had a strong umami and richness, with a hint of sweetness. I was very satisfied with the rich ramen I had last time, but this original flavor also had a satisfying taste. The noodles had a firm texture that complemented the soup well, and the two slices of chashu and thick menma were great additions! The karaage set meal had crispy and juicy fried chicken that was delicious! The portion of rice was a bit small, but getting this set meal for under 1,000 yen was a great deal. I felt a bit heavy towards the end, but I couldn't stop slurping the soup with the spoon (laughs). Finally, I held the bowl to finish every drop of soup! It was delicious again - thank you for the meal.

■ Date and Time: Weekdays at 7:00 PM ■ Seating: 2 groups, no waiting ■ Payment Method: Cash only after meal Menu: - Original Taste Ramen: 780 yen Simple ramen with slightly spicy noodles and a mild soup. Comes with a few slices of chashu and plenty of toppings. - Fried Chicken Set: 450 yen The fried chicken is crispy and freshly fried. Comes with rice, but better value during the evening. The restaurant is run by an elderly person who may seem a bit rushed and occasionally makes mistakes in serving order, but provides polite service. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a restaurant called "Takashi" for lunch that day. It is located a little northwest of Kyobashi along the Akagawa Tennoji Line. The front of the shop has a parking area nearby, making it convenient for those arriving by car. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere. I sat at the counter and ordered the "Ramen and Fried Chicken Set for 980 yen." The ramen comes in three flavors: original, rich, and light. Since it was my first visit, I chose the basic original flavor. The ramen that arrived had the look of authentic Wakayama ramen! In terms of taste, it was closer to the Wakayama ramen style known as "Shed Garage" maybe? It didn't have toppings like nori seaweed or boiled eggs, but it definitely reminded me of authentic Wakayama ramen. It was a satisfying meal!

On Sunday at 1:00 PM, I went to "Takashi" in Miyakojima. This is a shop that specializes in Kishu Wakayama ramen. They offer variations like "Original Ajitama Ramen," "Rich Ramen," "Light Ramen," and "Fish Power Ramen." They also have tsukemen. I ordered their recommended "Original Ajitama Ramen (780 yen)." It arrived in 3 minutes, which was fast. I took a bite and it was delicious. It's similar to the rich ramen but has its own unique flavor. The soup is made by simmering chicken bones and cartilage for two days to create a smooth and flavorful broth. There is no unpleasant odor, just the rich umami of the chicken blended perfectly with soy sauce. The toppings included two slices of pork belly chashu, menma, naruto, green onions, and nori. The thin noodles complemented the soup well. By the time I finished eating, there were 2-3 groups waiting in line. I was lucky with the timing. I look forward to trying their "Fish Power Ramen" next time. Thank you for the meal.

For lunch, it's about a 5-minute walk north from exit 2 of JR Osaka-jo Kita-Tsukemachi Station, and it seems to take nearly 10 minutes from Kyobashi Station. It faces a large intersection and offers parking service if you park at the designated coin parking. Inside the counter-only restaurant, you can sit down and order, with tissue and a basket for your belongings under the counter. During lunchtime, a small serving of rice is included as a service, and the food arrives promptly. The rich Wakanayama ramen combines a rich chicken-pork bone broth with a strong soy sauce base. The soup, which is a deep brown color, has a thick and sticky texture. The soy sauce flavor is strong and does not overpower the rich umami of the chicken-pork bone broth. The medium-thin noodles have a nice chew, and the pork belly chashu is moist and tender. Towards the end, the lard may feel a bit heavy and slightly salty, so this could be a divisive aspect depending on personal preference. Thank you for the meal.

I finished work on December 24, 2022, everything went smoothly. It took some time to clean up and deal with the traffic on my way home. By the time I reached Kyobashi, it was just before 6 p.m. Oh no, I've been here many times before. I arrived at the restaurant and realized it opens at 6 p.m., but they kindly let me in early. Thank you very much. I ordered the "Karaage Set Meal" and the "Motoaji Ramen." The cold interior of the restaurant gradually warmed up. The food arrived after about 10 minutes of skilled cooking and it was delicious as always. The Motoaji Ramen had a flavorful broth with a mix of chicken and pork, and the thin noodles had a nice texture. The crispy Karaage had a hint of ginger flavor. The rice was so tasty that I couldn't stop eating. I left the restaurant with a satisfied stomach and a good mood. The service and atmosphere were great. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for the meal. Tonight's dinner: Karaage Set Meal and Motoaji Ramen - 1230 yen, Parking fee - 200 yen.

On this day, while cycling, I happened to remember a shop I had wanted to visit for a while and decided to stop by. It was a little past 1 pm on a Sunday, and the shop was a bit far from JR Kanjo Line Kyobashi Station, so the inside was empty. I sat at the counter and pondered what to order. In the end, I chose the ramen and gyoza set meal, which also came with rice, and ordered the soup with a light flavor since it was my first visit. I really like Wakayama ramen, so I had high expectations as I waited for my order. When the bowl arrived, the soup looked thick, but when I tasted it, it was actually a bit light. I slurped the noodles, sipped the soup, ate the rice, and enjoyed the gyoza, repeating the loop until I finished. Honestly, the overall experience was neither good nor bad, but the set meal was satisfying. It was just a chance visit and my first time trying the soup, so I apologize for the somewhat lukewarm review. If I happen to be nearby again, I would like to revisit and try a stronger flavor. Thank you for the ramen and gyoza set meal at Motoaji Ramen.

Upon opening, I visited and ordered the rich ramen. The restaurant has a Showa-era atmosphere with out-of-place chanson music playing. The elderly owner and his son run the place. The ramen, typical of Wakayama, has a rich soup, simple chashu, thick menma, naruto, thin noodles, and is delicious.

Located in Sakuramiya rather than Kyobashi, this ramen shop was visited around 6:30 pm, but the door was locked and we couldn't enter, haha. The website states that they open at 6 pm. We were debating whether to leave when the owner finished opening up and came out, so we decided to stay and dine. The interior of the shop had a retro Showa-era vibe with old-fashioned lighting and decor. The background music playing was nostalgic, with songs like "Haru Yo Koi" by Yumi Matsutoya. I chose the specialty dish, the "Gyoriki Ramen" for 880 yen. The soup was rich with plenty of fish powder, giving it a slightly gritty texture that I enjoyed. The chashu was tender, but had a strange miso-like aftertaste that was a bit off-putting. Other toppings included wood ear mushrooms, fish cake, seaweed, and bamboo shoots. It was delicious and I finished it in no time. Thank you for the meal.

The popular ramen shop in Kyobashi was not crowded when I went on a weekday during lunchtime. It was unusual for a ramen shop to have tables. I ordered the lunchtime limited gyoza set. The ramen came in three flavors: light, rich, and original. I chose the rich flavor and added a flavored egg on top. Although it was rich, it wasn't too heavy and the noodles were firm and delicious. I ended my meal with a satisfied taste. Thank you for the meal.

On Saturdays, it's relatively easy to find a seat at this place that was closed the other night. Around 11:45, with only 20% of the seats filled, I sat at the counter and ordered their recommended dish, the motsuaji ramen. It comes with a small serving of rice for lunch, but I declined. The food was served in about 2 minutes. The soup was difficult to describe, but it tasted like typical Wakayama ramen, so-so. The noodles were thin and curly, while the chashu had a strange aftertaste and was not great. The other toppings were average. I paid in cash, 780 yen, and decided to move on to the next place.

I visited Takashi based on good reviews. It is a shop with a base of Wakayama ramen. I ordered the only option, which was the fried chicken set, after looking at the menu. I chose the original flavor ramen. I waited at the counter seat. Despite the good reviews, the restaurant was empty. There were only me and one other group of customers. Oh, the fried chicken set arrived. I took a sip of the soup. Oh, the animal smell is strong. A scent that I'm not a fan of. The fried chicken in the set was also powdery. Cornstarch? Wheat flour? It was crumbly. I am a big fan of Kyushu's rich tonkotsu ramen, but what is this unique smell? Sorry, my satisfaction was low. The current high score on Tabelog is too much.
