Every year, a curry book is released and I buy it every year. The ultimate curry Kansai version 2022 Asian division runner-up award-winning store Is there such a store? I thought while ordering the Spicy Keema Curry for 1,100 yen (tax included). Wow! A more luxurious dish than I imagined. The plate has some empty space, but since I only ordered one type of curry, it comes with various side dishes with different levels of flavor like pumpkin and spinach, like Kyoto obanzai. I thought the curry was just Keema, but it also came with Dal (bean) curry, which was a pleasant surprise. The Dal curry looks like highly concentrated porridge. The rice is long-grain Basmati, giving it a foreign (South Asian) curry vibe. Overall, all the dishes are of high quality. Personally, I really liked the Keema curry. The minced meat is incredibly delicious, oily, spicy, and full of flavor. It reminded me of Columbia Eight's super spicy curry, with a hint of fireworks. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal. Side note 1: Why is the Keema curry so oily? I sometimes see this type of dish. Side note 2: Is it to increase spiciness or to lock in flavor? I asked the reason at the checkout, and it turns out it's to enhance the aroma. Side note 3: I've been misunderstanding for a long time, but I'm glad I got a good answer.

Visited after 1 pm. There are 7 seats at the counter and 3 tables. There are only a few empty seats. Even after the peak hours, it seems that regular customers continue to come. Depending on the timing, there may be a line outside. The basic menu seems to be "meals" where curry is served with side dishes. At that time, there were 3 types of curry: 2 meat-based and 1 vegetable curry. The prices vary depending on whether you order a single dish, a combination, or all 3 curries. The prices range from around 1000 to 1500 yen. I ordered the Keema curry with a side of vegetable curry. It cost 1300 yen. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive, with some waiting time for cooking. There is also a lentil soup called "Dal" as a side dish. I didn't feel much spiciness from the chili, but towards the end, the spices kicked in. The default amount of rice is quite generous. For those with a small appetite, it might be too much. The selection of side dishes shows the owner's sense of taste. The overall taste composition, including the curry, is excellent. The restaurant is a bit far from any station, creating an atmosphere where enthusiasts gather. The presence of many regular customers is likely due to the wonderful food.

I went there during the daytime on a weekday. I was the only customer. But, it's not a bad thing. They had won some kind of great curry award. The Dalbert curry was really delicious. The Dal soup was thick and coated the rice well. The curry, with the flavor of mutton seeping through, was excellent. It was just a really delicious curry without any complaints. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a combination of mutton and chicken, which was almost full around 12 o'clock on a weekday. It's nice that the default is basmati rice. The side dishes were a bit on the strong side in flavor. Despite being short-staffed, the staff still managed to greet us and make us feel comfortable. I will definitely visit again!

Visit time: 12:50 on a weekday Wait time: None Menu: 2 kinds of curry plate for 1,400 yen + extra large rice for 100 yen I had plans to visit a nearby restaurant but it was full, so I ended up at Nitakari Bancha. I ordered today's curry plate with two kinds of curry. The curries were eggplant and okra sambal, and chicken shakthi. The curry had large, tender pieces of chicken and just the right amount of spiciness. I got the extra large rice, but towards the end, I felt like I needed more curry, so next time I might go for the three kinds of curry plate. Two kinds felt a bit empty on the plate. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

This is a spice cuisine restaurant near Temmabashi Station, with an exterior that gives off a vibe of an Indian-Asian fusion restaurant. The interior is mainly white with a straight counter and two table seats, giving off a more African-like atmosphere. The two male staff members have a unique aura, and the menu consists of regular dishes like Spicy Keema Curry, as well as daily specials like Eggplant and Okra Sambal, and Chicken Masala which can be ordered together. There are also options for drinks. I ordered the Spicy Keema and Eggplant and Okra Sambal combination. The dishes arrived in about 10 minutes, served on a silver plate with various vegetable side dishes, resembling a Sri Lankan curry. The plate was a bit large for just two dishes, leaving gaps. The Spicy Keema had a lot of minced meat and was quite spicy. The Sambal had a mild spiciness, while the Dal was even milder. Mixing all the dishes together halfway through created a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. Although they didn't have it that day, I look forward to trying their Biryani next time. It was a delicious Sri Lankan-style curry experience after a long time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant "Nitakaribancha" for lunch on this day. It is a popular restaurant in Osaka's Chuo Ward, where I had previously attempted to visit but gave up due to the crowd. Fortunately, I was able to secure a seat at the counter this time. I ordered the South Asian Plate "2 varieties for 1,500 yen," which included the basic Spicy Keema Curry and the daily special Spare Rib Vindaloo. The lone staff member was working hard, so I patiently waited for my order. When the plate arrived, the presentation was lovely, with a simple and appealing look. I started by savoring each curry separately, but eventually mixed them together and finished every last bite. Both curries were delicious on their own, but mixing them together on this type of plate was the way to go! Thank you for the meal!!!

I ordered a 2-item combo from the menu, which cost 1500 yen. The menu seems to change quite a bit depending on the day. On this day, they had mutton curry and chicken curry. Both were served with basmati rice and side dishes, all tasting authentic. Even though the rice wasn't in a large portion, I felt that the overall meal was quite filling. The side dishes had a gentle flavor. The mutton curry was spicy and made me sweat, even though it wasn't too hot. The curry, basmati rice, and dal were all delicious.

Today is a rare day for my spy activities♪ I visited Nitakaribancha near Temmabashi Station. As soon as the store opened, I entered the premises. The interior of the store was spotless and had a great sense of cleanliness. This time, I tried the South Asian Plate with a trio of curries. - Spicy Keema Curry: The perfect level of spiciness whetted my appetite. - Spare Rib Vindaloo: The pork's richness paired well with the acidity. It was delicious and addictive. - Vegetable Curry: Mild at first, but surprisingly had a punch of spiciness. Additionally, the fragrant Turmeric Rice with a light texture, accompanied by four vegetable side dishes, papad, and a gentle Dal were served. I also opted for the Spiced Egg, which was well-seasoned and tasty. The ambiance and service were great, and I believe this restaurant has a lot of potential for growth. Although adding the Spiced Egg made the lunch cost close to 2000 yen, I thought it was worth it for such delicious curry. Thank you for the meal!

Nepal Dal Bhat Spare Rib Curry for 1300 yen with an extra large portion for 100 yen. Spare rib curry is rare. It's been a while since I had spare ribs. The dal is delicious as always. Mixing everything together creates a perfect balance! Thank you for the meal!

A friend of mine seems to have become a regular at this place, so I decided to visit after a long time. The main menu changes weekly, featuring dishes from South Asia like Biryani and Dal Bhat, with the schedule posted on social media. This week was South Asian cuisine, which was new to me since last time was Biryani. The owner greeted me with a smile and made eye contact, and I couldn't help but smile back. The place had a stylish interior with unique tables covered in decorative tiles, and the staff wore exotic outfits and hats. The South Asian plate offered a choice of 3 curries that could be served individually or as a combination. I chose the 2 curry combo with Spicy Keema and Chicken Shakti, along with a side of green chili achaar and spiced egg. The bean curry was amazing, with a slightly coarse texture and just the right amount of saltiness. The Keema had large chunks of minced meat with a slow-building spiciness reminiscent of Sichuan pepper. The chicken was tender and fell off the bone easily, with a good balance of acidity and spices in the curry. I personally preferred the South Asian dishes over the Biryani, especially because of the delicious bean curry.

Today, I went on a popular curry restaurant tour near Tanimachi Yonchome Station. I parked my car at a nearby coin parking lot and arrived at the restaurant around 11:40 AM. The interior was a bit dimly lit, giving off an Indian vibe. There were a few counter seats facing the kitchen and two tables. The owner was managing the place alone. There was one other customer before me. I sat at the counter and ordered two types of curry: Spicy Keema and Mixed Veg Curry. Later, a regular customer came in and it seemed like the owner was also involved in music activities. The curries arrived, but instead of two, there were three types. The one in the middle, with a whitish hue, turned out to be Dal (lentil) curry. Along with the curries, there were several side dishes served. I started with the Keema curry. It was spicy, flavorful, and the heat kicked in afterwards. The texture of the minced meat was great, and it paired well with the turmeric rice. It was delicious and had a unique taste that I haven't experienced before. The eggplant side dish also tasted great with it. The Dal curry in the middle was like a palate cleanser, balancing out the spiciness. The other curry, Mixed Veg Curry, was less impressive compared to the Keema. I should have just ordered a large portion of the Spicy Keema instead of the two types. I wanted a bit more and ended up finishing it all. I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I arrived at "Nitakari Bancha" because I was craving curry again! It's been a while since I last visited Nitakari Bancha. I love their biryani, but it seems like they don't have it today! I ordered the large portion of rice with everything on top, and it was delicious as always! Truly a popular spot! The flavors are not too strong, making it enjoyable for everyone!

The closest station to the restaurant is Temmabashi Station if you take the train. It is located on the north side of Naka-Oe Park! The shop is stylish and cool, from the indoor plants to the atmosphere, merchandise, and the appearance of the master! I ordered the "Curry 2 kinds plate" for ¥1500! It was pork and mutton, both cut into large pieces yet tender! I thought, "Is it not spicy!?" but the perfect level of spiciness hit me! I couldn't tell what the side dishes were as usual, but when mixed together, they were incredibly delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I used to order from Uber Eats or something similar and thought it was pretty good, but when I went to the restaurant, it was even better. This is about the taste. But, having good tableware is also important. This place has nice tableware, not the cheap aluminum ones you often see in Indian restaurants. They only open on Tuesday nights, so it's a bit difficult to visit, but it's not too crowded even though they only open one night a week. It's quite recommended. It's a bit far from the station, but there's a loop next to the Lawson nearby. The evening opening time is 6:30 pm, but when I arrived right at 6:30 pm, it wasn't open and I panicked. In the end, it opened around 6:33 pm. If you're like me and get anxious, you might think, "Huh? It's not open! It's Tuesday!" But try waiting a little bit, it will probably open. I didn't mention anything about the taste, but as others have written, they have Biryani, Nepali Dal Bhat, and Keema? dishes. When I went, they had Nepali Dal Bhat. The dal had a natural taste with not too much salt, so it was nice to mix it with other curries and eat. Personally, I really liked it.

Collaboration with Yataras Spice was a long time coming, and the curry had a punchy and complex flavor that was delicious. The variety of potatoes was impressive. The tuna something-or-other was funny but tasty, and the kui and dal were also delicious. The goat was a bit tough and large, but overall it was worth the visit.
