My friend in Osaka always says, "Let's go to Miyakojima when you come to Osaka," and it's tough when I hear that. Lately, I've been cheating on Miyakojima with an izakaya in Tobeshima, which makes me crave Asahi's small dishes and yakitori. After all, I'm already at home. It's been 12 years since I started going there. My friend lives near Minami-Tanabe on the Hanwa Line, and I live near Nishitanabe on the Midosuji Line, so it's been quite a while since I walked there. We agreed to meet at 6:00 pm in front of Asahi for our reservation. Just before that, two women entered and immediately came out because it was full and they were turned away. Especially on weekends, reservations are essential. Right after that, Kumiko came out, and I was surprised. Who's that? I was a little scared of those two. But if it's Kumiko, her behavior isn't strange. There was no space available at the counter. When I last came in April last year, it was lonely, but now I saw Asahi full for the first time in a while. It's nice to see them thriving in this day and age. It's been a few years since I was directed to a table seat. It's a very low table seat behind the counter. I don't really like this seat. But after a while, I talked face to face with my friend. From the other table seats over there, it's like a hidden customer seat that doesn't stand out. This time, I have something to say about the draft beer. I saw Gakki in a beer commercial recently. Is the draft beer from the stand Asahi the same as that? No, this one is more like the original Asahi draft beer. Do you know that the only place in Osaka that handles the old Asahi draft beer, not Asahi Super Dry, is the stand Asahi? It's a special order. I was grateful to taste it again. By the way, if you want to drink Super Dry, you should order bottled beer. I'm grateful that they always serve me a half-and-half of regular draft beer and black draft beer. Thank you, ○○-chan, the skilled server who has been working there for a long time. My friend doesn't usually order fried food at Asahi, but the oyster fry is delicious. The juicy essence of the oysters overflows in your mouth. The oysters are in season now, but the edamame is not. However, I wonder when I will be able to eat dotenmushi. I haven't been here at all in the fall, so I haven't tasted it. Perhaps due to the current situation of the spread of something or other in Osaka, causing shortened business hours, customers seem to be considerate. By the time I switched from draft beer to cold sake before 7:00 pm, customers were leaving one after another, and the counter was empty. I was amazed to see the empty small bottle of cold sake in the photo with no one sitting in the background. I'm trying to come without a long interval next time.
