The restaurant was crowded early in the evening and it seemed like you needed a reservation to get in. There were a lot of young female customers. We ordered a Kimchi assortment, Chapchae, grilled and steamed dumplings, Kimchi pancake, stone pot Bibimbap, and tofu hot pot. The Kimchi was a crunchy type with a mild taste and just a hint of sourness. The Chapchae was a classic dish. The Kimchi dumplings were light in flavor, with the steamed ones being more delicious. The Kimchi pancake was simple and tasted good with the Kimchi on top. The stone pot Bibimbap was also a bit mild in flavor. The tofu hot pot lacked spiciness and was quite light in taste. Overall, the food and drinks had good value for money.

I have been curious about Korean cuisine for a while. I found the taste of kimchi to be weak, which was disappointing for me personally. I ordered a variety of dishes, but all of them had a normal taste. Overall, the dishes were bland. I don't know if this is the taste of home-cooked food, but it was disappointing. I thought it was made by tough Koreans, but it turned out to be made by tough Japanese. The price is certainly cheap, but I was not satisfied with the taste. I couldn't even tell what kind of cuisine I was eating.

I arrived at the restaurant around 5:30 pm on Sunday and was able to enter without any wait. It seemed like they were fully booked as we had a table until 7 pm. We ordered 6 dishes for 2 people and had 2 drinks each, but the total was around 6,000 yen, so the cost performance was quite good. The taste of all the dishes was delicious! Our favorites were the gyoza and kimbap. I would like to go again.

Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere with attentive staff. I've had various kinds of Korean pancakes before, but the crispy surface of this one was particularly tasty. The Chanja with added chives had a great flavor. The steamed pork with shrimp topping was a nice touch. I enjoyed the creative and delicious dishes. The affordability at the checkout was also surprising. It was delicious. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

First visit to "Mrs. Yun" in Kitahorie. Thursday, June 8, 2023. A gathering with friends as usual. "Mrs. Yun" is a Korean restaurant in Kitahorie that has a great reputation for being delicious. After several attempts, we finally managed to make a reservation. Arrived at 18:53, entered the restaurant, and placed our order. Paid the bill at 21:27 and left feeling very satisfied. We ordered a variety of dishes such as kimchi dumplings, healthy dumplings, spicy dumplings, kimchi assortment, Korean seaweed, garlic foil grilled, chijimi, potato chijimi, cheese kimchi chijimi, japchae, tteokbokki, deji kalbi, bulgogi, tofu hot pot, Korean seaweed roll, sundubu, draft beer, makgeolli, highball, etc. We ordered a lot for four people! The Korean dumplings and chijimi were diverse and enjoyable, and all the dishes such as tteokbokki, sundubu, tofu hot pot, japchae, deji kalbi, bulgogi were incredibly delicious. We ate to our heart's content, had some drinks, and at 4,600 yen per person, it was definitely worth it. It was a top-notch restaurant with great value for money. I visited with my usual group of friends. I usually can't handle spicy food, but I didn't need to worry this time. The Korean dumplings were really delicious. With the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, the restaurant was very lively. It was a bit disappointing that it was so loud that I couldn't even hear at my own table. I think next time I'd like to enjoy my meal in a quieter setting. Thank you for the meal.

Dinner time at the popular Korean restaurant Mrs. Yun in Kitahorie. We made a reservation by phone the day before our visit. Upon entering the restaurant, there is a counter on the left, two 4-person tables on the right, and a raised table seating area in the back. The two of us sat at the counter at the back. We started with a healthy green juice shochu highball for a toast. The dumplings here include kimchi dumplings and garlic-free healthy dumplings. They can be enjoyed in different ways such as steamed dumplings, soup dumplings, topped with leeks and mayonnaise, and with mushroom sauce for the steamed dumplings. We ordered the kimchi dumplings and the spicy dumplings, both grilled. The round kimchi dumplings had a chewy skin and were delicious with the special Yangnyeomjang sauce. The spicy dumplings were visibly red and incredibly spicy but delicious. In Korea, dumplings are eaten during the New Year for good luck, with their round shape symbolizing money. We also had a cold pork belly salad, steamed pork with kimchi and grilled shrimp, and Korean-style seaweed rolls. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and it's no wonder this place is so popular.

I finally got to visit the restaurant I've been wanting to go to, and I'm glad I did. Just as I had expected, the food was delicious and affordable! It's no wonder this place is so popular. I started with their popular dumplings, which had a unique taste I had never experienced before. They were chewy and delicious. The Chapchae had a homely taste that I really liked. The seafood pancake was also quite tasty. I tried Kimbap for the first time and it was okay. The crispy salad was average. I also tried Chungguchang (fermented soybean paste soup) for the first time, and although it had a unique flavor, I could immediately tell it was made with natto. It might be a hit or miss depending on your preferences. There were many other dishes on the menu that I wanted to try, but I was too full to order more. I saw they offer Samgyeopsal and Ginseng Chicken Soup with reservations, so I definitely want to try those next time. There aren't many Korean restaurants that serve such homely dishes like this one. The homely atmosphere was really nice, and the cost performance was excellent. I'm happy to have found a place where I can definitely revisit.

Although it doesn't look fancy, it's really delicious~ I've been wanting to visit this place for years, but never had the chance until now. One of the reasons I couldn't go before was because I couldn't feel the deliciousness through the photos. But every time I tried to make a reservation, it was fully booked. I thought, "If everyone is going, it must be delicious!" All my friends who have been there had good things to say. So, this was my first visit. The first dish that came out was kimchi dumplings, the grilled version. I ate it with the special sauce, and it was delicious. The dishes that kept coming out after that didn't look very appealing, but they were actually really tasty. I ordered so much that I didn't get to the noodles I wanted to finish with, so I will definitely be back soon. Repeat visit confirmed. Oh, and the prices are also reasonable. I'm grateful to the owner for keeping the prices from the old days.

Mrs. Yoon's restaurant was my first visit, and even on a Sunday evening at 5 pm, it was quickly fully booked. I was lucky to finally be able to go as I had been wanting to for a while. I ordered Lucky Chamisul and fresh Makgeolli, pork steamed dish similar to Bossam, Tarte Tatin (which I was thrilled they had), Chapchae, Squid Pokka (a bit different from Ojingeo Pokkeum), Kimbap, and Negimayo (dumplings). The Tarte Tatin was a bit disappointing, just like the one at my regular spot in Seoul, it was tasty but somewhat lacking. So, I mixed in the remaining sauce from the Squid Pokka and it was delicious. The Chapchae had a mild flavor, easy to eat and natural seasoning. The Squid Pokka was really tasty, with a perfect balance of spiciness and sweetness. I recommend adding the remaining sauce to the Tarte Tatin for an amazing taste. The Negimayo was quite spicy, and everyone was ordering it so I followed suit, but I personally didn't find it to be that great. The Kimbap was delicious, with a perfect balance of texture, flavor, and appearance. The Namul assortment was great, especially the fern shoots. The menu is quite extensive, so I definitely plan on revisiting. Since it was a Sunday, I ended up getting quite tipsy with just one bottle of Chamisul. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice, and the cost performance was indeed good. It's in a convenient location, so I've decided to visit again. There were about 7-8 seats at the counter, 3 tables, and I think there was also a tatami room at the back. Thank you for the meal.

Even though the steamed dumplings were good, I personally prefer the fried ones. I also tried the Samgyupsal, which I reserved in advance, and it was just delicious. The seafood pancake is a must-try as well, it's crispy and delicious. Overall, everything was delicious. I was concerned about the fat content in the Samgyupsal, so they kindly allowed me to take the leftovers home. It's worth a try!

My wife made a reservation at the Korean izakaya restaurant "Mrs. YUN." It was our first visit in a while. Healthy dumplings + steamed pork + potato pancake, etc. = about 11,000 yen. The cost performance is still great. We ate well, drank well, and were very satisfied. But still, the price is quite high. It's understandable that it's hard to get in without a reservation. Every dish tastes like the best home-cooked meal, and no matter what you order, you'll be satisfied with the price. You can eat to your heart's content, drink some alcohol, and have a great time. The gyoza, which I believe has maintained the same price since it opened, is a large portion with lots of filling and incredibly tasty. I can't stop being impressed.

This is an old and popular Korean restaurant. My friend made a reservation for us and we finally got to visit! The restaurant was packed on a weekday night, so reservations are a must. The prices are surprisingly reasonable! We ordered a variety of dishes and shared them. The round and cute dumplings were a popular menu item, with options for garlic or no garlic. The flavors were diverse and enjoyable, making the dumplings a highlight. Personally, I loved the crispy pancake, which had a dessert-like quality. The Sundubu was unexpectedly large and impressive. The seaweed rolls and fried rice were also delicious, making this a great place to visit with friends and share dishes for an enjoyable experience.
