I ordered a birthday cake for my husband. It was my first time ordering a character cake from Sweets Lab. My husband loves JoJo, so when I asked for a JoJo-themed cake, they agreed right away, which was great. They drew Jotaro in a pose that JoJo fans would love, just like in the photo. As for the taste of the cake, it was light and moist, with the whipped cream not being too heavy, making it very delicious. There were plenty of strawberries sandwiched in between the layers too! Despite the detailed and careful drawing, the price was also very reasonable!

The souffle cheesecake is delicious. I didn't really like the cookies at the bottom of the chocolate Mont Blanc, but overall it's tasty. The strawberry mousse was personally very much to my liking. I thought the jam inside was a bit too sweet, but it was delicious.

First visit! As soon as I entered, I thought, is it not there? Is it not there? That snack I was looking for, it was there! It was in the showcase, packed in bags of three. I felt relieved. The baked goods were delicious, like a feeling of love at first bite ❤️❤️❤️. It may sound funny, but those who have tried it will understand. It's delicious ❤️❤️❤️. The caramel, brandy, and coffee flavors inside are all different. They are so delicious that you'll want to eat all three by yourself. If you get the chance, please try them. But for the ones I buy, I always make sure to leave some for later. (laughs)

I went to a friend's child's 2nd birthday party. It had been a long time since I last saw them when they were 4 months old. The cake was light with fluffy sponge and a generous amount of cream, but not too heavy. I enjoyed it. I also received madeleines on my way out, with two each of caramel, chocolate, and plain flavors. They were delicious!

On a certain weekday, I remembered a bookmarked place and rushed into it. Located in Nishioka 4-jo, Toyohira-ku, this cake shop is larger in size for a personal store. They have a few dedicated parking spaces. As soon as you enter the store, you are greeted by two large showcases displaying various cakes, including their specialty financiers. What caught my eye that day was the personalized whole cakes with portraits or photos on them, waiting to be picked up. While those were impressive, I decided to try some regular cakes. I tried the "Luxurious Shortcake (400 yen)" which had layers of not too sweet and high-quality cream, with strawberries on top. It was delicious and I would definitely buy it again next time. I also tried the "Strawberry Mousse (350 yen)" which had a striking appearance and a delicious combination of fruits, sauce, mousse, custard cream, and sponge cake. Lastly, I tried the "Special Choux Cream (210 yen)" which had a crispy choux pastry with a generous amount of custard cream inside. The shop emphasizes on using carefully selected, safe, and high-quality ingredients to make their cakes. Considering the quality and taste, the prices are surprisingly affordable in these times. Thank you for the great food.

Shortcake and Tiramisu cake. The shortcake had a smooth sponge and the cream was delicious. The Tiramisu cake had a strong coffee flavor, which was good, but the structure of the plate was bad, making it difficult to eat without spilling the powder on top. Nevertheless, it was delicious.

I wanted to buy a small gift and even though it was a bit late, I decided to stop by a bakery on my way. They didn't have a wide variety of baked goods and the boxes were not very big, but they still had some cakes available. I chose from 4 options and decided to go with the Nishiokaichi Gâteau Chocolat for ¥300 and the Earl Grey Apricot for ¥400. The Nishiokaichi Gâteau Chocolat was not dry like typical chocolate cakes and the Earl Grey flavor was not too sweet and quite delicious.

The character cake for my son's birthday was a 15cm sponge cake that was extremely rich in flavor and moist in texture. The cream was not too sweet, but had a rich dairy taste, making the overall cake quite intense. Although the taste wasn't exactly to my liking, I am very grateful for the customizable design of the cake.

I passed by the shop and the exterior looked nice, so I decided to try three items: 1) Sho Cream with special dough - 180 yen, 2) Luxurious Shortcake - 380 yen, 3) Chocolate Mont Blanc - 400 yen. However, all three items lacked impact and were not worth repeating. The special dough in item 1 was not impressive, neither was the cream. Item 2 had ordinary dough and cream. Item 3 had oddly hardened chocolate layers, making it not worth the high price. All three items were not better than convenience store sweets. On the positive side, their whole cakes are reasonably priced and seem popular for birthdays, as there were about 20 whole cakes on display during my visit. Overall, it was a traditional and average cake shop experience.

I was working in Nishioka, so I casually searched the nearby area and came across this place. It was called "Nishioka Ichi" and they had a Gâteau au Chocolat that caught my attention. As a chocolate lover, I was intrigued. The location was in a small area, so I decided to stop by on my way back home after finishing work early. I parked my car in the front parking lot and went inside. There were families and people picking up birthday cakes. I quickly spotted the Gâteau au Chocolat in the showcase, priced at 230 yen, which was quite reasonable. I also decided to buy a roll cake. The Gâteau au Chocolat had a crispy surface and a moist interior with a good texture and just the right amount of sweetness. It had a rich flavor with a hint of bitterness from the chocolate. It was delicious, and I could see why they boast about Nishioka Ichi. The roll cake had a fluffy sponge that was light and easy to eat. The whipped cream was lightly sweetened, so it wasn't too heavy. Both the Gâteau au Chocolat and the roll cake were of high quality considering the price of 230 yen each. It was a good value for money, and I would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal!

Wednesday/12:15 PM visit/Takeout for the first time/41 Shu Cream Brulee, total 430 yen. Located along Route 82, this cake shop offers handmade Japanese sweets. It is located across from Marutokutsubakana, a pottery shop. The shop has a sign that reads "Sweets & C~~" from a distance, which made me think it was a coffee shop. Upon closer inspection, it was actually a Cappuccino shop. Inside, there is a counter for takeout coffee on the right, a display case with shortcakes on the right, and a row of sample portrait cakes on the left. Despite it being lunchtime, there were still many cakes waiting to be picked up. The display of actual cakes instead of photos made it easy to imagine the final product. There were many portrait cakes as well as character-themed cakes like Anpanman, Thomas the Tank Engine, Kamen Rider, and Precure. The shop was empty with no customers before or after me. While the shop is listed as having an eat-in space on Tabelog, I can't quite recall if it actually did. The cakes are relatively affordable, and I chose the cheapest Shu Cream and my favorite, Creme Brulee. The staff member used a torch to caramelize the Brulee, giving it a beautiful color. The crispy caramelized part paired well with the creamy vanilla bean-infused custard. The Shu Cream, which had been stored at room temperature, had a creamy filling that had melted a bit, but it was still delicious. ★★★ Will visit again.

In November 2015, I noticed this shop along the Mizuyuji Street and was intrigued by its stylish exterior. At first, I thought it might be a bakery. Upon entering, I found a small and neat cake shop with an easy-to-choose layout. I purchased Crème Brûlée, Sweet Potato, and Mont Blanc. The Crème Brûlée was made fresh after ordering, with a rich and sweet custard cream and plenty of caramel on top. The crispy texture on the surface was subtle. The Mont Blanc was also sweet, with smooth cream and delicious chestnuts. Thank you for the meal! ✿ฺ(๑´ڡ`๑)✿ฺ.

This is my son's birthday cake for this year. I didn't know this cake shop, my husband found it. When you order by phone, they deliver it to your house! And they make it with your favorite design! I love it, but my kids also love Gudetama. I thought we would order something like Yo-Kai Watch, but when we opened the box, it was Gudetama ❤️← They didn't ask about the design in advance, too cute~ (｡>∀<｡) There are 5 of them! In April 2014, I visited Sweets Lab for the first time. It is located in the Nishioka area of Toyohira Ward in Sapporo, along the Mizuyuji Street. The shop offers a variety of cakes, with a specialty in cakes featuring "portrait" or "character" designs. The prices are generally affordable, ranging from 150 yen for cream puffs to 320 yen for cakes like Mont Blanc. I tried the Nishiokaichi's Gâteau Chocolat, which was rich and delicious, offering great value for its price of 200 yen. The Strawberry Shortcake had a unique triangular shape, with layers of sponge cake, thick cream, and fresh strawberries, priced at 280 yen. The Mochi Mochi Ichigo Hime was also delightful, with a strawberry-themed outer layer and a delicious combination of mochi, strawberry, and cream, priced at 250 yen. Overall, the cakes were of high quality and offered great value for money. The shop is welcoming and allows photography. I look forward to trying more cakes at Sweets Lab in the future.

I ordered a character cake for my child's birthday for the first time here! I have bought cakes before, but they have limited options, so I think this shop specializes in birthday cakes. It's great that they offer free delivery! The staff is very friendly. They didn't give me a copy of the order paper, which made me a little worried, but they gave me a business card, so I felt reassured. You can specify the delivery time, but it's a two-hour window, which is a bit long. It would be helpful if they could narrow it down a bit! You have to wait at home the whole time. The most important thing, the taste, is delicious! My partner doesn't like sweet things, but even they praised the deliciousness and the perfect cream texture (laughs). The Anpanman design is also very cute. I will definitely order my child's birthday cake here again next year!
