I had a great time eating and drinking at Trattoria Due, but now I want to have a nice, cozy chat over some wine. I moved over here for a change and it's been a while since I enjoyed wine at this place!
*About the restaurant*: Opened in August 2016, this bar specializes in cheese and natural wine. Located in Chikusa, 3-chome Uchiyama, it’s just a 3-4 minute walk north from Chikusa Station along the tracks. It's open year-round, but for any temporary closures, please check their official social media. The exterior is simple with a bright white wall, and you can see the stylish interior through the large windows.
The owner is a friendly and good-looking guy! Inside, there are mainly tall counter seats, along with a few tables both in the front and back. This place is also a member of the "Osake Vin-cho," a stamp rally featuring shops that serve natural wines from across the country, making it a great chance to discover many places!
I enjoyed two types of glass wine along with some fresh cheese. The first was "Croci," a popular Italian wine, and the "Vertolla," which is an orange wine. Its tannins from the skin and invigorating acidity paired well with the creamy cheese. The white wine recommended by the lady at the counter was from Auvergne, France, made with 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay. I found its flavors unexpectedly delightful, reminiscent of mango!
It was a lovely night where we could chat at ease. Thank you for the wonderful experience! ✨

I adjusted my schedule at Uchiyama Cheese Bar. It's a wine bar with a great atmosphere. Since it was hot, I requested something refreshing. The recommended Riesling was crisp and delicious. It's a place where you want to settle in and enjoy your drink. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

A relaxed place where you can enjoy wine and cheese. The blue cheese risotto is incredibly delicious and my favorite. It's a great spot whether you’re alone, with a partner, or in a group, and sharing different wines can be fun. I don't usually want a heavy meal, but when I feel like having a little something to eat with my wine, this is the place I want to go.

I visited a cheese bar that I've been curious about for a while, using it for the second time. The cassis bread served as an appetizer was really delicious! I had a cheese platter, and my favorite was the mascarpone—it was so creamy and tasty.

At the third stop, I highly recommend this place for cheese lovers. They have a wide variety of cheeses on the menu, and all the non-cheese dishes look delicious too! Although I was too full to try more than one cheese, the drinks were great as well. The owner is a wonderfully attentive person.

I finally made it to Uchiyama 3-chome! I arrived at 6 pm, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself. I ordered white wine and cheese. The cheese was delicious, with a nice salty taste. I ended up ordering another wine – this time a rosé from Hokkaido. Both wines were crisp and fruity. The berry bread that came out was also delicious. I'll definitely be back! The interior is lovely, and the owner was kind enough to tell me all about the wines.

Finally visited this place I'd been wanting to try! I love cheese, so I was excited. I ordered Comte and Pecorino Romano from the selection, along with a raisin and red wine bread. I also had the Parmesan sauce gnocchi, and the wine just kept flowing! I got to chat with some regulars and had a wonderful time. The owner had a great atmosphere, and the place was very comfortable. Thanks for a great meal!

I visited a cheese bar located about a five-minute walk from Chikusa Station on a weekday evening. The interior has five counter seats and about three tables, and when I arrived around 6:30 PM, there were no other customers, making it quite peaceful. The menu features various types of cheese, along with a few dishes like sausages, gnocchi, and risotto, as well as a good selection of drinks that pair well with cheese, including wines.
I ordered the homemade raisin butter and a cheese platter. The homemade raisin butter had a melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the richness of the butter combined with the sweet and tart raisins was simply delightful. As for the cheese, they served me four different types, each with distinct characteristics that paired perfectly with the wine. My favorite was the Brie au Grand Marnier, which had a refreshing orange aroma and a smooth, deep flavor that was really delicious.
Both the cheese and wine, along with the ambiance, were wonderful. I would love to come back when I’m craving more delicious cheese. Thank you for the meal!

I always thought it felt a bit intimidating to go inside when I passed by the shop, but it had been on my mind for a long time, and I finally went in at the end of the year! The master was really friendly and gave detailed explanations about the wine and the appetizers. Each appetizer was carefully prepared and delicious!

I wanted a delicious second glass of wine, so I visited a cheese bar for the first time. The cool, older male owner recommended some great wines in the dimly lit space. I ordered sparkling and rosé! They paired perfectly with the blue cheese risotto.

This was my second visit, and I always appreciate their service. I enjoyed a mini cheese fondue and risotto while sipping on two glasses of white wine. The wine they serve here is always a winner. It has fruity and light notes, and the flavors are vibrant and aromatic—tasting like something you can't find in stores. I always feel this way.

I expected there to be around 30 types of cheese at a place named Cheese Bar, but it doesn't seem to have that many. I really love drinking wine with Brie, and it pairs wonderfully. I thought the menu would only have cheese, but there are also options like salami, which makes it feel a bit mismatched. (laughs) However, I wish they had at least some cheeses from different categories, like washed cheeses, goat cheese, and buffalo cheese. It would be great if they also had things like 6P cheese or cheese sticks. The risotto was delicious!

I definitely think this place is a winner. It was even better than I imagined! ✨ The wine was really delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing—there's nothing I can complain about. I’ll definitely come back again. I also followed you on Instagram. Your Instagram has a lot of beautiful wine pictures too!

Today we visited this place. I went with a friend for our second stop. Since we were already quite full, we wanted something light, and we had been curious about this place. It was just the two of us men who dropped by. Before 10 PM, there was only one couple at the counter, and honestly, I think the ambiance makes it a must-visit for dates and similar occasions. It's a wine and cheese shop, so we ordered a glass of white wine along with a cheese platter. The appetizer was warm bread, and it was delicious. The white wine we had was a 2020 Cuvée Blanc from France. It was slightly dry but had a pleasant fruity aftertaste that lingered nicely. We went for the chef’s selection of four cheeses: Parmigiano-Reggiano, Brie, Tartufo, and Mascarpone. Each one was delicious and paired well with the white wine. Thank you for the meal! The atmosphere was great. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance. *Visited: Rating 3.41*

I visited a wine shop late at night. The shop is located along the JR Chuo Line and has both counter and table seating. They specialize in natural wines, which gives a healthy and safe impression. I enjoyed two bottles of dry, crisp white wine that were delicious. As the shop name suggests, they also focus on cheese and have a variety of options available, so I ordered the chef's choice cheese platter.

We were a group of four who utilized the restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice, and as we were there, several other guests came in, making it fully booked. The interior has both regular tables and a counter. We ordered MUNI red wine, which had a very robust flavor. We also ordered wine and cheese, and our total was around 25,000 yen for the four of us.

Uchiyama in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya City, is an area filled with stylish restaurants located to the north of Chikusa Station. One of these establishments is a wine bar called "Uchiyama 3-chome Cheese Bar," which has been in operation for about 7 to 8 years. The interior creates a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for adults to relax and chat. While enjoying wine and cheese, you can take your time here. Even though I don't have much knowledge about wine, I was able to enjoy recommended pairings with the cheese. One dish featured cream cheese sprinkled with pistachio powder, which I savored like a dessert alongside white wine. I also enjoyed a flavorful hard cheese, rich in saltiness, paired with red wine. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Until next time, "Stay happy!"

You can enjoy a variety of cheeses and delicious drinks here. The location is about a 4-minute walk from Chikusa Station. Inside, there are a few counter seats and tables, creating a stylish café-like atmosphere. The menu focuses on cheese with a few snack options, and the drinks center around wine, with beer, whiskey, and spirits available as well. Here’s what I ordered: ★Chef's special cheese platter ★Glass of white wine ★Glen Moray Signet (on the rocks).
To start, I was served hot cheese and bread as an appetizer. It felt like cheese fondue, and the cheese had a nice salty flavor that made it delicious! The chef's special platter included four types of cheese and three kinds of dried fruit. The mascarpone was fresh and tasted like yogurt, which was incredibly good! The washed rind cheese also had a great saltiness. I thought the hard sheep cheese had a slight strong flavor, which I found a bit challenging.
Halfway through, I had some red wine bread, which was refreshing and fruity. I tried the Glen Moray Signet for the first time, and it really tasted like chocolate. It’s not an everyday drink, but it felt luxurious. This is a great place to enjoy delicious cheese and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for the meal!

After drinking a lot of beer and highballs while walking around, I wanted to have some wine, so I stopped by this place. It was still light outside 😊 Of course, there were no other customers in the shop yet. The interior had a lovely design, making good use of lighting, and it felt quite stylish (^^). Since I love red wine, I chose a glass of it. Oh! I should have ordered something different from my partner, but I ended up ordering the same thing! To go with the wine, we had some cheese. I spent a nice time chatting with the slightly shy master of the shop. I ordered another glass of the rich red wine, and as always, it was delicious… What’s “senbero”? In Iwaike, you can’t drink a lot of wine or order more than one cheese with just a thousand yen (laughs). But it’s a fun town, a place where you can enjoy drinks and connect with others.

In Nagoya Chikusa, there's a dining bar called "Uchiyama 3-Chome Cheese Bar," where you can enjoy carefully selected cheeses and natural wines. They also offer dishes other than cheese, and they have a wine ledger (vin chō) that you can start using. I visited on this day for an apéro. The wines I had by the glass included:
- BIANCO 2018 / Meigamma (Italy, Sardinia)
- KWtN White 2021 / 10R (Iwamizawa, Hokkaido)
- Senussi 2019 / Panevino Senus (Italy, Sardinia)

This is Uchiyama Sanchome Cheese Bar located in Uchiyama, Chikusa Ward! It's situated along the JR elevated tracks, in an area bustling with various restaurants. It’s a great place for delicious cheese and wine! We had some time to spare before our reservation at a sushi restaurant, so we decided to have a light drink here. We started with a glass of champagne, and for the second drink, we had a rosé that looked almost like red wine, but it was absolutely delicious! We tried some hard cheese and mascarpone, which tasted wonderfully refined and creamy, almost like whipped cream. It paired perfectly with a delightful soy milk and honey bread! It was so good that I really wanted to order more, but I had to hold back since we had our next stop. (laughs) I also enjoyed chatting with the master of the bar. Since it was before sushi, this lovely wine and cheese were just right, and I left feeling very satisfied! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
