We met up in Tennoji for dinner! We visited "Duomo," which we had to give up on last month due to being fully booked. From JR Tennoji Station, passing through Apollo Building, it takes about 10 minutes to reach the restaurant. Even if it's drizzling, it's a place you want to head to. Maybe Thursday was a good day? I checked for availability, made a reservation, and was promptly seated. The restaurant is about 80% full. There is a lone male customer, but the female and family ratio is higher. The seating is close together, giving it a trattoria feel. The interior decorations also give off a vibe of things you could buy in the streets of Italy. The items we ordered amounted to 6,690 yen in total: - Duomo-style assorted appetizers - 1,630 yen *Choose 2 or 3 servings. It included omelette, ham, roast chicken, zucchini stew, seafood tomato stew, lettuce salad, eggplant fritters, and seaweed dumplings. (Partially in Japanese) Of course, there may be personal preferences for ingredients, but I love Duomo's appetizers as they are impressively delicious. A must-order assortment. - Caprese - 750 yen First time trying this, as the taste of tomatoes can vary depending on the season, but it was beautifully put together with mini tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, oil, and balsamic vinegar. A delightful item that makes you think, "I'm glad I came to eat this!" - Margherita - 1,630 yen I usually go for the classic Margherita pizza, and this one with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil was delicious and satisfying. Adding a bit of spicy oil is also recommended. - Homemade Salsiccia and Zucchini Aglio e Olio Fettuccine - 1,740 yen *Large portion +250 yen There was a request for fettuccine, so we went for the Aglio e Olio with homemade salsiccia. The thick noodles were perfectly coated with oil and salsiccia flavor, transforming into a delicious pasta dish. The staff was friendly, and I left feeling very satisfied and full from overeating (laughs). One thing that bothered me was that I ordered a glass of Viognier (dry) for 690 yen, but the glass had a slight smell, so I hope they improve on that. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will visit again! PayPay payment is available.
