Today I worked on a holiday. I finished work in the morning, so I was thinking of stopping by a ramen shop on my way home. Then I remembered that I hadn't visited this ramen shop yet. They have been around since before the ramen war in Kansai started, and have been reigning as the top ramen shop for many years. It's about a 15-minute walk from Momoyamadai Station through a residential area, which is a good warm-up before a meal. People here usually order salt ramen or Italian ramen like minestrone, but I felt like trying a more unique menu that not many people order. Today, I ordered the "Tantanmen without soup set" for 1,133 yen (including tax) which comes with rice, pickles, and soup. First, the rice, pickles, and soup arrived. I tasted the consomme-flavored soup which this shop is famous for, even before ordering the ramen. Then, the Tantanmen arrived. It looked elegant and delicious. You can choose from mild, medium, or spicy levels for the Tantanmen, and I chose medium. On top of the noodles were a soft-boiled egg, white leeks, spinach, and of course, the star of Tantanmen, the meat miso. I mixed everything well from the bottom, and the appearance transformed into a fascinating, junky look unique to soupless noodles. When I tasted it, the ingredients, especially the soft-boiled egg, blended well with the meat miso and tasted delicious. Eating it with rice further enhanced its flavor. The pickles provided were also delicious! My followers also mentioned how tasty they were, especially the cucumber pickles. They were pickled in rice bran. I also added the recommended spices available at the shop – fried garlic, leek, and pepper. I added just the right amount to avoid changing the flavor too much and to enjoy the combined effect. The spiciness and wildness added by the spices made it even more delicious. The rice went down so smoothly. Lunchtime offers a free large serving, and it's definitely a must with this dish. Additionally, the Sichuan pepper provided with the Tantanmen added a perfect numbing sensation when sprinkled in just the right amount. In the end, I drank the consomme-flavored soup, which is the essence of this shop. Perfect. Thank you for the meal.

A ramen shop near Nishinokiriike Park in Toyonaka. The customer service was quite good. This time, I ordered the Cha-shu Ramen Shoyu Large for 1210 yen. The soup was truly consomme and delicious, but the ramen itself may be a bit plain. The cha-shu was melt-in-your-mouth and very tasty.

I had minestrone at Toyonaka's Godairyoku. It's been a while since my last visit. I've been alternating between salt ramen and minestrone, so this time I chose minestrone. For more details on the taste, please refer to my previous comments. I have visited this place quite a few times.

Popular ramen shop in the neighborhood. I was able to get in without waiting before 12 o'clock, but it quickly filled up and there was a wait. I ordered the salt butter ramen and the cold ramen arrabbiata (dipping noodles). The salt butter ramen was light with a rich buttery taste, very delicious. The arrabbiata was like eating cold pasta, with two ways to enjoy it - either as is or dipping it in the spicy tomato broth for a different flavor. My child loves tomatoes, so they really enjoyed it, but personally, I thought it was just okay. There seems to be a variety of ramen options available, so I would like to visit again.

I have been going to this ramen shop for about 10 years now. They have interesting and delicious menu items like Arrabiata Ramen and Spicy Ramen, so I never get tired of it. This time, I ordered Salt Butter Ramen and Gyoza. The red paste is plum paste. At first, I thought "Butter with plum?" but the butter flavor is not too strong, so it has a good sweetness and acidity which tastes delicious. When you feel like trying something a little different in ramen, I think this is a good place to go. The total bill was 1320 yen for Salt Butter Ramen and Gyoza (I think).

It's been a while since I went, so I'll post an update! I stopped by on my way back from Minoh. This time I tried the spicy noodles - they were delicious! It was a medium level of spiciness, so I think I could go up one more level! The dumplings are tasty even without any sauce. The miso soup is also really delicious. I like the calm atmosphere of the restaurant. I definitely want to go again.

On a holiday April Fool's Day, I went to Toyonaka instead of Umeda. I was taken to a modern and delicious noodle shop. During lunchtime, all ramen dishes were available in extra-large size for the same price. The ramen, named after the restaurant, is based on a consommé soup created by a chef well-versed in French and Italian cuisine, and it goes well with soy sauce flavor. The clear and unique thin noodles also have a sophisticated appearance. The soup is more like a broth than a traditional dashi. For flavor variation, there are options like ground black pepper, finely chopped fried garlic, and sautéed leeks. Additionally, the special spicy miso that comes with the gourmet dumplings is delicious! During the cherry blossom season, this lunch became a memorable experience. Grateful. Goryokiryu Higashi Toyonaka Main Store.

A long-awaited noodle outing♪ Visited a popular shop in Toyonaka with company staff after a long time. On this day, I had the Ramen Minestrone for 968 yen, extra seasoned egg for 110 yen, chashu for 330 yen, and gyoza for 330 yen. Ramen after getting drunk is the best (о´∀`о) My weight is in trouble though T^T #ToyonakaGourmet #ToyonakaRamen #KitasenjuGourmet #RamenClub #RamenInstagrammer #NoodleOuting #NoodleLover #WantToConnectWithRamenLovers

First visit. It was past 1 pm with only one customer ahead of me, and then just one more after that. I ordered the salt butter ramen in a large serving. Since there was a lunch special offering a free upgrade to a large serving, the price of 990 yen before tax was reduced to 880 yen before tax... and with some additional discount, the final price was 858 yen after tax. The curly noodles were delicious! The unique feature of this place is the clear consomme-based soup! I finished every last drop of it (^^)

I visited "Menya Godairiki Higashi Toyonaka Honten" in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture. It is located about 1.3km west of Mozu-dai Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. I couldn't find a dedicated parking lot, so I parked at a nearby coin parking lot, but later found out that there were actually 5 parking spaces behind the apartment building across the street. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere with a straight counter seating for 7, 2 tables for 2 people, and 1 table for 4 people. There were about 5 customers when I visited on a Sunday at 3pm. I ordered the "Godairiki Shio" for 748 yen. During lunch hours from 11am to 3pm, you can get a large serving for the same price as a regular serving on weekends. The soup has a gentle round saltiness and a pleasant aroma of dried scallops that lingers in the nose. All the soups at this restaurant are consommé-based, offering a subtle umami flavor. The medium-thin curly noodles have a nostalgic chewy texture. The toppings include tender chashu, sweet Chinese cabbage, white and green onions, and tangy plum meat that adds a nice touch. The table condiments include fried garlic, garlic chives sautéed in olive oil, and black pepper. I added the garlic and chives halfway through the meal, and they complemented the delicate soup perfectly. It was clear that they were carefully selected to enhance the overall taste. Thank you for the meal!

I heard that you can try a rare consommé-based ramen, so I visited for the first time. I parked my car in the dedicated parking lot and entered the restaurant before 12 o'clock. There was no wait, and I was seated at the counter. Ordered: - Goryu (salt) Ramen 748 yen * Free extra noodles during lunchtime - Matured Chashu Rice Bowl (mini) 473 yen First, let's talk about the soup. The consommé salt soup is clear and has a gentle saltiness. It has a delicious taste that seeps in, perfect for when you're feeling hungover. The noodles are simple and have a medium thickness, which goes well with the simple soup. The chashu rice bowl has plenty of thinly sliced chashu, and even in the mini size, it's quite satisfying. It pairs perfectly with the light salt ramen! Overall, it's a consommé-based ramen that may not be extremely unique, but it's simply delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Looking for a gentle consomme after a long time~. "Godairiki" @menya_godairiki The salt butter ramen soup is endless and delicious! You can enjoy a different taste by adding fried garlic and leeks halfway through. The soupless tantanmen also has a gentle flavor and is served at lightning speed. It was delicious, thank you for the meal! #Godairiki #ToyonakaGourmet #OsakaGourmet #KansaiGourmet #OsakaRamen #KansaiRamen #Want to connect with people who love to eat #Want to connect with gourmet lovers #ramen #ToyonakaCity

It is packed with vegetables. You can add a numbing sensation with Sichuan pepper. Other: On days with a 5 in them, you can get a free topping of seasoned egg or butter with a coupon.

Today, I went to Momoyamadai for work... After finishing a job around noon at 12 o'clock... I'm hungry! I want to eat ramen. Come to think of it, there was a delicious ramen shop around here that I used to go to when I was a university student. I'll go check it out after a long time! So, I visited Godairyoku. I parked my car in the free parking lot and headed to the shop. I entered the shop around 12:15 PM. It was about 80% full. A friendly female staff welcomed me and showed me to my seat. Now, let's check out the menu. This shop has a consomme-based soup, which is a unique base for ramen nationwide. I think the chef was French. They also have unique Western-style ramen like ramen minestrone and ramen arrabbiata. Looking closely at the menu, what caught my eye was the tantanmen. I wonder what tantanmen with a consomme base tastes like? I'm really curious. So, I placed my order. Tantanmen with extra noodles, extra spicy, and topped with seasoned soft-boiled egg. Also, please give me a bowl of white rice. At this shop, extra noodles are free during lunchtime. And you can have unlimited white rice for 110 yen. It's great when you want to eat a lot! After waiting for about 9 minutes... Here it is! Tantanmen, extra spicy, extra noodles, topped with seasoned soft-boiled egg, and white rice! The appearance is just like regular tantanmen! Now, let's start with the soup... Wow! Delicious! A consomme flavor that gently spreads. Then, the sesame miso flavor. And the spiciness. It's extra spicy, so you can feel the heat. It's about as spicy as level 1 at CoCo Ichibanya. If you're not good with spicy food, you won't be able to eat it. What a unique but not off-putting soup. A delicious soup full of originality. Now, the noodles... Slightly thin wavy flat noodles. Despite being thin, they are chewy. A delicious noodle that goes well with the soup. Under the white leeks is the meat miso. Under the meat miso is bean sprouts. And this meat miso is quite tasty. When mixed into the soup, it packs a punch, and it's also delicious with rice. The condiments are black pepper, chili oil, fried garlic, and chives. They also provide sansho pepper for tantanmen. Among them, the fried garlic and chives are outstanding. The fried garlic is finely crushed and has a nice fragrance. The chives are lightly sautéed in olive oil, which goes well with both the ramen and rice. Also, the rice itself is quite delicious. Even the pickles that come with the rice are tasty. After having a rice refill, crack open the seasoned soft-boiled egg on top of the rice. The yolk is very runny. When eaten with the rice, it's delicious! After finishing the noodles, pour the soup over the rice to make your own tantan rice porridge. This is also delicious. I ate a lot and finished everything. It's been a while since I came to Godairyoku, but it was so delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The owner of this ramen shop trained in French and Italian cuisine before opening the shop. It's a popular local spot, with a fast turnover and always full. The interior is spacious and the menu is diverse. Since it was hot, I chose a cold ramen dish. I started by eating the noodles with the dipping sauce, then poured the broth over them for a change in flavor.

I have visited this place many times, but today I came with my nephew for his first visit. Since it's Golden Week, we were able to get a seat right away as the first customers, but the place quickly filled up within 10 minutes. I ordered the salted egg ramen, while my nephew ordered the soy sauce egg ramen. Our bowls arrived shortly after. The light yet flavorful soup, curly noodles, and cabbage all went well together. The black pepper was a nice touch. My nephew quickly finished his bowl, saying it was delicious. Personally, I prefer the salted egg ramen, but that's just my preference. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal.

If you are in your 40s or older and a ramen lover, you may be familiar with this renowned restaurant even if you are not in the northern part of Osaka. It has received high scores in ramen magazines and has been inducted into the hall of fame. Although it is not as frequently featured in magazines nowadays, the restaurant's appearance, manager, and quality remain unchanged. Today, I felt unsatisfied with the takeout salt ramen I had yesterday, so I decided to visit the restaurant with my family. We chose the same salt ramen with seasoned egg as yesterday. The soup had a clear appearance and a captivating aroma that drew me in. The noodles had a smooth texture without being too firm, creating a perfect harmony with the soup. The complimentary condiments also added to the experience. The stir-fried chives in olive oil added an Italian restaurant-like flavor when mixed with the consomme soup, while the grilled garlic was fragrant and enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal. It was a delightful bowl of ramen.

◯Order... Goryo Ramen for 748 yen ◯Cuisine... Using ingredients from Shodoshima's soy sauce and the sea mountain. The base is consomme, but this ramen will likely divide opinions. The first bite may not have much flavor. The sweetness is different from veggie potage and didn't suit my taste. They offer a large serving for lunch. The lack of umami and broth was quite shocking. This ramen seems like it will spark mixed opinions. ^_^

I felt like eating ramen made with minestrone that you can't find in other stores, so I decided to visit this place for the first time in 10 and a half years. The owner, a French-Italian chef, has a unique Italian touch to his dishes, so I will refer to him as a chef. The restaurant was still quiet when I arrived, but it started to get busier as more customers arrived. It seemed like there were many families dining there. The menu highlights the chef's dedication to ramen, with a clear French-style consomme soup made from carefully selected ingredients that are simmered slowly. The noodles are made from a blend of the highest quality domestic wheat flour and durum semolina flour, aged with natural salt from Akō to give them a unique texture and chewiness. The "Goriki Ramen" priced at 748 yen features a soy sauce ramen made with ingredients from Shōdoshima and the sea, promising a heartwarming experience. The consomme soup was very gentle and different from the consomme soup found in large chain stores. The thin straight noodles were made from a blend of domestic wheat and durum semolina flour, giving them a pleasant chewiness and smoothness. Toppings like fried garlic and sautéed garlic chives with olive oil added a nice touch to the overall flavor. The appearance of cabbage in the soup was also interesting. The chashu pork was incredibly tender and flavorful, making it difficult to pick up with chopsticks. The "Minestrone Ramen" priced at 968 yen is a traditional Italian ramen made with plenty of vegetables and tomatoes that are simmered slowly. The healthy vegetable soup features a tomato base with carrots, onions, and other vegetables, providing a rich umami flavor. While it seemed like there were fewer vegetables compared to the past, the soup still had a delicious taste. The thick chashu pork was made from tender diced thigh meat. Adding the powdered cheese enhanced the richness of the dish with an Italian twist. Overall, both ramen dishes were delicious and enjoyable, showcasing the chef's unique approach to blending Italian and Japanese flavors.

I used it for lunch. This time, I chose the matured salt ramen. The price felt a little high for a single ramen, but it was within a reasonable range as it did not exceed 1000 yen. For lunch, adding rice was about 100 yen. The ramen here is basically consomme-based, but it didn't have a strong flavor and matched well with the salt ramen, so it was delicious. It's a unique taste, so it might be good when you want to try a slightly different ramen!

After leaving Shimada Seimen Shokudo, we headed to our second ramen destination of the day, Menya Godairyoku in Momoyamadai. We arrived around 12:30 PM. The interior of the restaurant was surprisingly spacious compared to its exterior. It had a cozy and slightly dim atmosphere reminiscent of a Western-style restaurant or a coffee shop. The place was about 80% full, with customers ranging from solo diners to couples and families. I ordered the Godairyoku Ramen (soy sauce base) with chashu-men and added the seasoned soft-boiled egg as a topping. Even though the restaurant offered a free upsize option, I opted for the regular portion (laughs). The chashu could be grilled according to your preference, but I chose to have it as is. The bowl arrived in just 5 minutes, looking quite substantial. The ramen had a consomme soup base, with a distinct flavor from the well-cooked meat and vegetables, making it unique and original. While there may be similar ingredients in other ramen dishes, this one had its own twist. The cabbage peeking out from the soup added a nice touch. The slightly curly noodles seemed to absorb the saltiness and umami of the broth, giving them a delicious flavor. The thick chashu had a nicely seared exterior and a tender, fatty texture that melted in your mouth, while the lean meat provided a satisfying chew. The seasoned soft-boiled egg lived up to its name, being creamy and well-seasoned. Menya Godairyoku also offers other ramen varieties like salt ramen, minestrone, and arrabbiata. I would love to try them all someday. Thank you for the delicious meal!
