There was a drink bar with Hokkaido milk available.

I stayed at this hotel in Otaru. It was conveniently located, very new, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served with time reservations to avoid crowding. Instead of a buffet, they brought out assorted dishes. You had to get your own drinks. The food was abundant with Hokkaido ingredients. The salmon sashimi, tarako, shrimp fry, and potatoes were delicious. It was interesting to see a Chinese-style dish with a thick sauce.

At the reception, I heard from multiple people that the breakfast is delicious, but I wonder if they cut corners during regular operation. I stayed at Hotel Torifito Otaru Canal with a breakfast-included plan. I had high expectations for this new and pleasant hotel, and it felt like boarding a state-of-the-art avant-garde space battleship. The customer service and the new hotel itself were quite good, with umbrellas provided on rainy days and various requests accommodated. However, during check-in, even though there were three staff members at the front desk, I had to wait in a long line. Initially assigned to the 5th floor, I was later changed to the 4th floor, but it might have just appeared that way. The breakfast venue is called Canal Street. I arrived early to avoid the crowds, and one of the most delicious items I tried was the grapes, but they quickly ran out and were not replenished. The soft and flavorful bread was enjoyable, but the rice was more to my liking. Overall, I felt slightly unsatisfied, but the lineup had a good balance of nutrients. I stayed with a plan that includes breakfast. The breakfast was really good when it first opened, so I decided to stay again after several years. The menu included dishes such as Ankake Yakisoba, Squid Shioyaki and Sakura Ebi Pasta, Zangi (fried chicken), Grilled Salmon, Three-Element Pork Curry, Wiener, Kinpira, Hijiki, various side dishes, salad, children's menu (shrimp fry, octopus sausage, Napolitan), okayu (rice porridge), rice, miso soup, potage, waffles, bread, etc. I felt that the menu had decreased compared to before, but I was satisfied. It's also nice that you can make butter toast. The room is stylish and the location is great. The price is reasonable, so it's a good choice for staying in Otaru, isn't it?

"I booked a hotel in Otaru, the new hotel was cheap. My wife mentioned going to Otaru last night, but I didn't expect her to actually book a hotel. I searched for a hotel after I went to bed, right? My wife can only go out from Saturday afternoon, and I didn't want to waste time, so I took a night bus to Sapporo on Friday night and headed to Otaru from Sapporo in the evening. I left Abashiri before 1 pm on Saturday and met my wife in Otaru after 6 pm. She picked me up and we checked in. The hotel was indeed clean. 'Our parking lot is 1500 yen, and the one you see over there is 1200 yen,' they indirectly recommended the more expensive one. I said, '1500 yen is more expensive than Sapporo, right?' and they replied, 'No, 1500 yen is common in Sapporo too.' Well, there's no point in arguing, so I stopped. It's more expensive than Sapporo, though. Everywhere looks nice and clean, but the rooms are small. It's quite tough for my wife to pass behind me when I'm sitting at the table with my PC. There's a communal bath, a decent size, maybe for about 10 people. There weren't many guests, so it was almost like a private bath. The water was good. The hospitality was okay. They had two types of Otaru beer, both were good but not very distinctive. It's a luxurious thing to say that even though it's delicious, it feels lonely without a distinct taste.
