At Ion Mall Tomakomai, I decided on Maiko Tempura Soba at the first impression. It was strange that both Maiko Tempura Soba and Maiko Tempura Don Soba Set were priced at 1,300 yen, but I chose the Don Set without hesitation. The Maiko Tempura Don, which was as satisfying as it looked, was a great choice.

Fukuzumi-san saw various shops in the area and remembered that the main shop was in Shibetsu Town. In July, they had the chance to visit the shop in Tomakomai but ended up going to a different one. They had wanted to try it out before, so when they saw the shop open around 2 PM, they decided to go in. They ordered a warm buckwheat soba dish, but found the taste to be average. The soba broke easily and fell into the broth, which was a downside. However, considering the low price, they accepted it. Many customers around them were ordering rice bowl dishes, so next time they plan to try that instead.

Kiss, green pepper, burdock, eggplant, enoki mushroom, shrimp soup, cold takuan, firm and chewy moretsu soba noodles, sprinkled with chopped seaweed, half portion? The soba soup is rich and flavorful, served with chopped green onions and wasabi, a small salad on the side, shredded cabbage and stretchy spa, mixed with mustard mayonnaise sauce. The portion size is quite generous♡ Thank you for another delicious meal today.

Soba Tendon (hot) for 1400 yen. I wanted something light, not ramen but soba. Too lazy to think, so I went for the reliable choice here. When I looked at the menu, I thought, "Oh, I want to eat tendon!" (Did I drink too much yesterday?) so I ordered the set. Doesn't soba broth taste better on days when you've had a bit too much to drink? It feels like I came here today just to drink this. However, I forgot to ask for less rice, so I ended up finishing it all with a "phew." The tendon sauce wasn't too sweet and greasy, which was a relief. Despite feeling a slight burden on my stomach, I felt a strange sense of satisfaction (^_^)v. This is a perfect place for everyday dining.

Tanuki soba for 750 yen. It was made with sarashina soba and topped with plenty of tempura bits, green onions, and seaweed. The tempura bits were a bit soggy, maybe because it was close to the last order... I wish they were more crispy. The portion size was generous. I finished the meal with soba-yu. Thank you for the meal.

Tonight, I was wondering where to have dinner, and decided to try some soba noodles. I ended up at "Fukuzumi" which I had known about for a while but never visited before. The interior had a unique Japanese feel, and it seemed like they were close to closing. I quickly looked at the menu and saw something called "Toppachi Soba," which had a combination of squid and octopus legs, with 10 and 8 pieces respectively, hence the name "Toppachi." I ordered it and soon enough, the soba arrived with a generous serving of tempura on top, which really stimulated my appetite. The soba had a slightly darker color and a firm texture. The tempura was filled with squid legs, octopus legs, and was quite voluminous. The octopus had a sweet flavor and was particularly delicious. If it wasn't close to closing time, I would have been able to savor it slowly. It's not a good idea to rush when you have octopus and squid on your plate. Another satisfying meal.

I had a hearty breakfast, but by 11 o'clock I was already hungry again... And it's only been a short time since the end of fasting >.< Well, I went to pray for the new year in -7°C weather, so warm soba was a welcome treat. I opted for a light chicken and burdock soba. The most popular dish around me was the "octopus and squid soba" - soba noodles with tempura octopus and squid (laughs).

Tempura buckwheat noodles for 1000 yen. Since it's the first soba of the new year, I ordered the slightly more expensive "tempura buckwheat noodles." The bowl that arrived had only one shrimp tempura. The price difference between the normal "buckwheat noodles" and the "tempura buckwheat noodles" is 300 yen. Considering the size of the shrimp tempura, it feels a bit overpriced.

After eating ramen at "Yoshino" for 700 yen, I went to various places like borrowing a CD and buying clothes, so I got a bit hungry. So, I came here to eat soba. I usually go to the Utonai store near my home, so if my memory serves me right, it's been about 5 years since I last visited the Tomakomai store. I'm not confident in my own taste buds, but the broth here seems sweeter compared to the Utonai store.

Fukusumi offers consistently delicious food with a wide parking area. You can also change your soba to udon if you'd like (seems possible if not part of a set menu). The soba noodles have a nice texture and the tempura is crispy. I had the tempura and soba set which was delicious. The curry rice also had a nostalgic taste and appearance. It's interesting how the counter is so bright, almost blinding. Overall, it's a relaxed and cozy place to enjoy your meal.

Overall, Fukuzumi is a chain that is easy to use and offers popular dishes like soba and tempura that appeal to everyone. However, their "natto soba" this time seemed to have too many random ingredients, lacking unity in the bowl as a whole. It's not the type of natto soba that I can really enjoy.

This is a restaurant located on the north side across the road from Aeon Mall Tomakomai. I was in the mood for soba today, so I decided to stop by. I ordered the soba and meat bowl (hot, 1100 yen). The dish arrived in about 7 minutes. I paid in cash. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went on a business trip to Tomakomai. When it comes to Tomakomai, I love the Hokkai clam curry from Marutoma Shokudo and try to stop by whenever possible. However, seeing an unusually long line, I gave up and went to a soba restaurant recommended by a local. The popular dish is duck soba, but I ordered just soba and Genghis Khan rice bowl. The soba was delicious, as expected from Hokkaido. The dipping sauce was not as strong as in Kanto region and paired well with the soba. The Genghis Khan rice bowl had a slight hint of gaminess, but the sauce was incredibly tasty! This sauce is versatile and goes well with any meat dish. As I finished the Genghis Khan rice bowl, a colleague said, "Tomorrow's lunch is Genghis Khan." Oh yeah!

I haven't been here in 10 years. It's close to my workplace, so I used to come here often in the past. I thought I wouldn't come back because the portions were so big... I ordered the grated daikon radish soba from the left end of the counter seats. This seat is cold because cold air blows in every time a customer comes in and out! I recommend sitting farther from the entrance during the winter! The cold soba with plenty of grated daikon radish was delicious! I might have been able to handle a large serving! Grated daikon radish soba for 750 yen. Thank you for the meal!

I think everything is delicious. It's a bit pricey but the soba noodles are worth the cost. I had the oyster tempura soba this time, and the oysters were very delicious.

Customer and lunch grated soba for 750 yen. It's been a while since I had white soba. The grated daikon was coarse and mixed well with the soba, making it delicious. The restaurant was full of customers. The oyster tempura also looked delicious.
