Wandering new curry mania / rookie ramen mania, a solo middle-aged man. This is a memo-like review from the old man. If you want concise information about the restaurant and food, please move on to other people's reviews around here. Previously, when I was out with someone, I mentioned, "I ate Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. It was delicious!" "The sauce is not Otafuku, it's a bit spicy," and they said, "I've never eaten Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki before." So, let's make another opportunity for that, they said. It took a while, but I finally revisited. Please refer to the initial review for the location and such. I entered around 1:30 pm (Sunday). Oh! It's crowded today. The counter is packed from the front. The back was still empty, so we were guided there. Unfortunately, there are no partitions at the counter seats. Last time, the "ramen" was a normal size for one serving, and I felt a bit unsatisfied, so should I go for a double or mix "ramen & udon"? Hmm, I also want to try the "beef tendon." Alright, here's the order for me: Meatball ramen, one serving of ramen, beef tendon, oolong tea. Total: 1,650 yen (about 880 yen + 165 yen + 275 yen + 330 yen). For the companion: Squid tempura meatball udon, orange juice. Total: 1,540 yen (about 1,210 yen + 330 yen). Well, what about drinks? You have to make some money with drinks, including alcohol. Some people just say "water" and leave it at that. As far as I researched online after the last visit, the prices were about the same as on-site. It took a little over 15 minutes from ordering to completion. It's brought from the grill away from the seat. Oh, the "double ramen" has increased in height, quite impressive. Looks delicious! The companion's "udon" is not too thick. It's like Inaniwa udon. It's easy to eat at this thickness. Let's cut it with a spatula. Oh, with its thickness and solid structure, the spatula smoothly enters and gives a satisfying crunchy feeling. Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki is just cabbage steamed on top of the ramen, so it's tricky to cut without being used to it. This time, maybe they grilled the ramen a bit firmer. I can't eat with just a spatula, so I'll transfer it to a small plate. Mmm, mmm, mmm, tasty! The "double ramen" is great, with even better texture and satisfying bite. The "beef tendon" doesn't have a huge amount, but it has a tender texture and well-cooked flavor. Oh? The "Carp sauce" today isn't that spicy! It has a bit of a kick, but it's not too spicy. It was my first time trying the "Carp sauce" last time, and I wasn't prepared, so I felt, "Oh, it's spicy!" Otafuku okonomiyaki sauce is my usual go-to, so as long as it's not extremely spicy, it's all good. The companion, who had only eaten "Kansai-style" okonomiyaki before, also seemed to like it, which was great.
