It's a bit unclear, but it's on the 4th floor. They serve soup curry on Tuesdays, and there are a lot of fried dishes. The staff are mostly inside, and it gets crowded during lunchtime. The soup curry was delicious, with a choice of white rice or mixed grain rice. The spiciness level cannot be adjusted, but it was mildly spicy with plenty of ingredients like pumpkin, okra, carrot, potato, eggplant, and a small piece of chicken. All this for just 900 yen, which is quite satisfying. Thank you for the meal! ( ◠‿◠ )

I am currently hospitalized, so during my hospital stay, I will only be posting reviews that I prepared before my admission. Due to my poor health, comments and replies to comments are significantly delayed. I will respond as soon as my condition improves, so please bear with me. "Teine Keijinkai Hospital" is the largest private hospital in Hokkaido with a heliport on the rooftop. Many of the doctors are graduates of Sapporo Medical University. The "Hidamari Shokudo" is a cafeteria that can be used by both "Teine Keijinkai Hospital" staff and the general public. It was not there when my late father was hospitalized. We visited for lunch with my usual companion. This restaurant is located on the 4th floor of Building D of Teine Keijinkai Hospital in Maeda area, Teine-ku, Sapporo. Please check the exact location of the restaurant on Tabelog. Our visit was on a weekday afternoon around 1 pm. The front of the cafeteria is for the general public, while the back is for hospital staff. There were many customers in front and few in the back. The only option available was the "Daily Recommended Set Meal for 750 yen." The only other options were the usual soba and udon. Both of us ordered the "Daily Recommended Set Meal for 750 yen" using the ticket machine. The set meal comes with free extra rice. I chose the extra rice, while my companion chose regular. Our meals were ready in about 7 minutes, including waiting time. The "Daily Recommended Set Meal" included: - Chicken with plum miso sauce - Lotus root tempura (3 pieces) - Side dish of boiled komatsuna - Salad with lettuce and dressing - Soup with Chinese cabbage and aburaage The chicken with plum miso sauce was delicious with the sourness of plum balancing the saltiness of miso. The lotus root tempura tasted great with the plum miso sauce. The meal had a comforting and familiar taste. The free extra rice was a nice touch. The price of 750 yen for the "Daily Recommended Set Meal" was reasonable for the quality and variety of the food. The cafeteria is located in the hospital, so there is a sense of reassurance in terms of taste and ingredients. The free extra rice service is convenient. The restaurant is listed as "Restaurant Hidamari" on Tabelog but is now called "Hidamari Shokudo." I look forward to trying the daily noodle dishes next time. It was a delicious meal, thank you.

Plate Lunch 650 yen in August 2022★
Located at Keijin-kai Hospital, Building D, 4th floor, near Teine Station North Exit. The cafeteria is open to the public and offers a daily changing menu with udon and soba as regular options. Sold out by 1 pm. Purchase meal tickets from the vending machine and collect them at the counter. I had the B lunch, also priced at 650 yen, which consisted of a plate with a main dish, side dishes, and salad. On this day, it was "Fried Mackerel". The mackerel was cut into two and a half pieces, lightly breaded, crispy, with good oil removal. The sweet vinegar sauce was lightly applied, making it low in salt. The side dish was "Kinpira Gobo", with a natural and gentle taste. The salad had six types of dressing for self-service. The rice portion was around 150g. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the meal! (^ω^)

On a certain weekday, I visited the large restaurant on the 4th floor of building D, located across from the Keijinkai Hospital in Teine. The parking lot is in the multilevel parking lot next to the hospital, and it costs 100 yen per hour unless you are there for a medical appointment or visit. Upon taking the elevator to the 4th floor, you are greeted by menu samples and a ticket machine. The restaurant has a large seating area, with medical staff, patients, and their families all dining together. Despite the name of the restaurant sounding like a pachinko parlor, the menu was surprisingly diverse, resembling a cafe. I ordered the "Domikatsu Donburi" (750 yen), a specialty from Okayama, and waited for it to be prepared. The coffee (I believe it was 100 yen) was served from a small Seiko Mart-like coffee machine and was decent. The donburi, with a generous portion of thick tonkatsu and a relatively light demi-glace sauce, was satisfying, although those who prefer stronger flavors might find it lacking. The salad, made with fresh greens and a choice of four dressings, was refreshing. Lastly, I finished with the soup that had soybeans at the bottom. Overall, despite the somewhat higher prices, the restaurant offered a variety of menu options that seemed to prioritize health, making it a good choice for a cafe-style meal. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a friend in the hospital for an operation. Before the surgery, my friend gave me a list of foods they wanted to eat, including sushi, soup curry, and ankake yakisoba. After the surgery, my friend's recovery was not going smoothly due to intestinal issues. I felt regretful for underestimating the situation. My friend's husband visited every day, and my friend was expected to be discharged by the end of the month. During my visit, I went to the hospital's restaurant and ordered a vegetable stir-fry set meal. The meal was served quickly and included a variety of side dishes like thick fried tofu in ankake sauce, salad, and miso soup. The food was tasty, but I couldn't determine the salt content. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I plan to continue supporting my friend, inspired by the "Gourmet Diary of a Man Who Had His Stomach Cut" blog. Thank you for having a food blog, it's been helpful!

Across from Teine Keikai Hospital. There is a cafeteria on the 4th floor of Medica Teine called Building D, which is connected to the hospital by a skywalk across the road. I found something suspicious in my stomach. It seems that if it's really suspicious, the 5-year survival rate drops below 10 percent. I received a referral letter. The night before the detailed examination, I had a light dinner at home, but tears started flowing and wouldn't stop. Will I still be here in a year? Which of the dozens of selfies should I use for the funeral? But I can't use a forced smile. The salty rice wouldn't go down, so I washed it down with cold tea. On the day of the examination, I didn't want to go to the hospital and shouted at the entrance. I held my daughter's head and left home, apologizing for everything. I'm a troublesome father. Looking back, the house gradually got farther away. After checking in, I waited for my turn for the examination. I looked up at the ceiling to keep from crying, but it overflowed. I was called and went up to the examination table... The examination seemed to have ended while I was asleep. Explanation of the examination results. There are no other conditions affecting your life. Just to be sure, I was instructed to undergo a different type of examination in two months. I felt weak. At the same time, my stomach suddenly growled. Since it's a big hospital, I thought there might be a cafeteria somewhere, so I wandered around and found the cafeteria. A large hall cafeteria used by both patients and staff. I had the recommended lunch special, pork soboro bowl. I can't describe it in detail, but it was a delicious meal. That alone made me happy. Two months later, I had a follow-up appointment. This time, I was inside a round dome wearing ear muffs. Explanation of the examination results. No abnormalities were found... The appointment is over. Lunchtime. Let's have lunch at the cafeteria here again. There was a limited ramen special, but today I feel like having a "winning bowl." Let's go with a "katsu-don." Extra rice, it's okay for today. I felt calmer than the last time I had a meal. Shouldn't this katsu-don have a little more egg on top? Or is this rice really extra? Silly thoughts of calmness resurfaced a little. Now, let's go home and explain to my partner and daughter how today's katsu-don was. That alone seems to help them understand the events of the day. Thank you. And, thank you for the meal.
