This is a restaurant located about a 6-7 minute walk from Higashi-Sapporo Station on the Tozai Line of the subway, along Yonesato Yukidori Street. The chef, originally from Kansai, serves delicious dishes with various ingredients that change daily. On this day, I enjoyed the recommended Minke whale ginger stir-fry and a set of three dishes including firefly squid.

My husband usually doesn't go out for drinks on weekdays when he has work, but since he had a day off, we went to Chukichi for the first time in a while. The skewers here are all delicious. I recommend the heart, chicken skin, and white liver! If I had to say one thing, I wish they had more variety of whiskey and other alcoholic drinks. Towards the end, there were three regular customers sitting next to us, who said they come even on weekdays. I think I'll try going alone next time. Thank you for the meal!

For the fourth stop of drinking in Higashi-Sapporo with Mairebi-san, we went to "Charcoal Grill Gourmet Nakayoshi" which seems to have taken over the spot of "Daikichi" where I had visited a few times before. When we opened the door, about 80% of the seats were already taken by regular customers who seemed to be having a great time. We were seated at a table by two drunk guys. The owner and staff were very attentive and provided excellent service, and the spacious and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting. We ordered a Highball for 350 yen and a Perfect Classic Beer for 440 yen, along with boiled bamboo shoots with tofu skin and edamame. The bamboo shoots were deliciously light-flavored. I really wanted to eat yakitori, but there was no space for it at all. I recommend checking out the menu, as the cost performance is quite good. We visited around 10 pm, and the restaurant was constantly busy with customers coming in one after another. It seems like a popular spot, so it might be best to make a reservation. In the end, we only had a few drinks and some snacks, and the bill came out to about 1,800 yen. I definitely need to visit this place again. Thank you for the meal.

Second stop for drinking in East Sapporo in September 2019! We visited "Okan-ya" after leaving the chain restaurant "Daikichi" across the street. Daikichi became "Chukichi" after the second generation took over... I wonder if it will become "Kokichi" next? (laughs) We suddenly visited with a group of 7 people, and the regular customers kindly rearranged their seats for us. Thank you very much! I had a mild barley shochu on the rocks. I need to switch to something stronger soon, otherwise my stomach will get bloated. The appetizers were chilled tofu and edamame for 250 yen, which is a very reasonable price. I feel frustrated when restaurants charge over 400 yen for potato salad or just plain cabbage. The yakitori was slightly small but easy to eat! The salt seasoning and grilling were perfect, making it delicious. The chicken cheese skewer was filled with plenty of cheese, making it so satisfying. Thank you for the meal!

Today was a gathering of those living in Shiraishi, called the Shiraishi-kai. The second stop in Shiraishi was a "used" place, but actually it was me, not "Chuukichi." There's no such thing as good luck. It's the shop across from the first one, and I was already being pointed to as the next destination while still at the first one. It says "charcoal-grilled gourmet." As usual, I had beer. The beer was just delicious. The appetizer was tofu, I think? I don't really remember eating it much, but I think it was quite tasty. There were also noodles. It's a bit different, so I usually don't go for it. The skewers were good. The seasoning was light, the meat was good. Truly living up to the charcoal grill name. Thank you for the meal.

This is the area around Higashi-Sapporo Station. I will only add photos since it's a revisit. The owner is very friendly and I immediately liked it! Plus, the staff is cute too! Haha. I definitely want to stop by here again when I'm in the area. It's perfect for enjoying delicious yakitori and dishes with a drink! Thank you for the meal. White stone drinking is already the 4th place. I'm not sure if I'm pacing myself or not (laughs) because it's sake from the first place! It's a popular place, isn't it? It's crowded, but the customer before me helped me find a seat! The waitress is cute ♡ And, of course, sake again! - Dewazakura Sakura Hana Ginjo Sake 600 yen (excluding tax) The ginjo aroma is elegant and fruity, easy to drink. It's a well-known brand, though. - Otoshi 250 yen Edamame, dried small fish, and minced fish paste on cold tofu. It looks a bit fancy (^^♪ - Red chicken tataki 460 yen I love raw meat, but it was a bit different from what I expected (^^; - Liver with sauce 100 yen It's recommended and it's soft and well-cooked with delicious sauce ♬ The yakitori here is delicious! It might be nice to drink a lot here!

I managed to squeeze in despite the crowd in September 2019! The regular customers didn't give up their seats, but I finally got in! (*-ω人) I'm grateful. This place is definitely a good one! Looking at the customers, I think so. The appetizer was chilled tofu with dried bonito flakes and shaved fish cake. The liver had no unpleasant smell, and the plum and shiso skewer had a good balance of flavors. The grilled hormone dish had an exquisite seasoning! (゚д゚) Delicious. The Mino Brewery Junmai Ginjo Hiyaroshi was just right in sweetness, refreshing and a taste I like. The head chef and the waitresses were also nice, and if I lived nearby, I would definitely become a regular customer! *Sorry for the review that may not be useful after three months have passed and I can't remember anything.

I was in the area near Higashi-Sapporo Station. I had already eaten at Lasora, but since I was in the Higashi-Sapporo area, I decided to have a drink before heading home. However, my stomach was already full... (^_^*) Since it was just after opening, I was the first customer to enter. I'll have a highball please (*゚▽゚)ノ, as well as beef tendon stew, pork belly skewers, and chicken skewers! For the appetizer, we were served edamame and daikon radish with plum dressing. This daikon radish with plum dressing was refreshing and increased my appetite again! The beef tendon stew had a good flavor, and the skewers were freshly fried and delicious! Eating the hot pork belly skewers while huffing and puffing. The pork belly had a sweet fat flavor and was big with a satisfying bite! The chicken skewers also had a delicious taste of chicken. The owner and the waitstaff were friendly, and we were able to chat while enjoying our drinks, which was very nice. I hope there's a yakitori restaurant like this near my house too. There are many other restaurants I want to visit in this neighborhood, so I'll definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal! (^_^)

Perfect classic atmosphere with detailed attention to the fine bubbles by the owner. The scissors-grilled chicken here is a perfect match, delicious. It's more enjoyable to be in a fun space than to think about being influenced by the owner. The warmth of the regular customers can be felt, making me want to become a regular here too. Today's menu included broccoli, asparagus, and salmon mayo salad, pickled radish, various grilled skewers including tasty liver and crab legs, beautifully chopped lamb chops, cute and delicious small skewers, tasty fried chicken, nicely grilled eggplant, and a refreshing cucumber pickle. The service of melon pickles was great, and I even had a second helping. The Highball set was delicious, and the staff made sure everything was just right. It was a delightful and enjoyable time spent here. It's true that restaurants frequented by regular customers are great. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The scissors (negima) here make me crave them... They always provide a sense of comfort no matter when you eat them. They go perfectly with highballs and I always end up ordering more. The spring weather and sunshine make me feel good. I arrived almost as soon as the restaurant opened and sat at the counter. Of course, I started with a beer, which was classic and delicious. The pink fish cake shavings added a cherry blossom touch. Today, I had pickled radish, simmered tendon, light salted tripe hot pot, various skewers (forgot to take photos), cabbage with mayo and grilled chicken sauce, and gratin. The conversation with the owner was comforting and heartwarming. Switching between beer and highballs, I got a bit tipsy. The staff was perfect and escorted me well. I will definitely come back soon for the addictive menu. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Chukichi is a restaurant with a funny owner who came up with the name in just 3 minutes. The owner, who is from Kansai, serves delicious beer and highballs with a smile. The restaurant used to be part of a larger chain but has since become independent, making some unique changes like using charcoal for grilling and serving Sapporo beer. The interior has a historic charm that adds to the atmosphere. The food, including skewers like zuri, negima, negi-banban, butabasil, kawa-tare, and liver, is tasty and easy to eat. The fried chicken and highballs are also recommended. The tonpei-yaki is filled with lots of meat and the pickled radish is delicious. I would definitely visit again and try the motsunabe next time.

Arrived before 8:30 pm at the end of the year. There was one group of customers and one person already there, and one person arrived later. Visited with a total of two people. For some reason, there are many yakitori restaurants in Higashi-Sapporo. Located along Misato Yukudo Street. Besides the owner, there was one female server, who was surprisingly beautiful and didn't seem like she belonged in a restaurant (laughs). The owner was chatting with regular customers and seemed to be from Kansai. The menu had a lot of Osaka-style dishes in addition to yakitori. There were AC/DC posters and a guitar (Les Paul) on the wall. The background music was 80s music from both Western and Japanese artists. The beer was Sapporo Classic draft. There was no all-you-can-drink option. The appetizers were edamame and tomato soup. The soup had lots of onions and chicken pieces, which was delicious and perfect for a cold day. We ordered: - Liver (with sauce) x2 (100 yen each) - Thigh (salt) x2 (120 yen each) - Pork belly (with sauce) x2 (120 yen each) We ordered two skewers of each. The prices were quite affordable. They call it "kushiyaki" instead of "yakitori," which is typical of Osaka. We ordered chicken with salt and pork with sauce, which has become my favorite. The salt flavor was not too strong, and the surface was crispy. The sauce was thin and slightly sweet, similar to Worcestershire sauce, and very tasty. The liver was very tender and cooked just right. Served with mustard. The thigh came with yuzu pepper. We also ordered: - Red chicken sashimi (460 yen) Served with ponzu sauce, ginger, and gochujang. - Nakayoshi zangi (400 yen) A juicy and flavorful deep-fried dish with a strong soy sauce flavor. - Tonpei-yaki (price forgotten) A menu item posted on the wall. It was my first time trying it. It consisted of pork and onions wrapped in egg, and it was delicious. - Chanja Another menu item from the wall. It was creamy but got quite spicy if you ate too much. Overall, the food was satisfying and delicious. It's a rare find in Sapporo where you can enjoy the taste of Osaka. The bill came out to 3500 yen per person, which was quite reasonable considering there was no all-you-can-drink option. The owner saw us off as we left. Will definitely visit again! They are open from the 2nd of January in 2019.

Visit date 2018.12.1. It's been a while since my last visit. Went on a sushi bar hopping adventure. I haven't had any nigiri, so it's all good, right? Just making excuses for myself (laughs). Anyway, it was a pleasant visit as always, with the friendly owner. Had a great time with my partner, and even called a senior colleague to join us, and later on, another acquaintance showed up (laughs). Spent a fun time from 5 pm to 12:30 am (laughs). I ended up treating everyone since I was feeling good. The yakitori was delicious as usual. They have an original motsunabe dish that is really good. And they turn the leftovers into a delicious zosui at the end. It's so tasty. Thank you for the meal today.

I went to a certain yakitori restaurant at 5:45 PM, but they were not open yet so they turned me away. It would have been nice if they had let me wait inside. I then went to a nearby smoked skewer restaurant, but the sign was gone. It's a shame, they used to be busy. So I decided to visit a charcoal-grilled gourmet restaurant called Nakayoshi-san. The restaurant was already filled with smoke, even though it was early. There were 4 women at a table and 2 customers at the counter. My companion and I sat at the counter in the back. We ordered beers from the manager and they were brought to us by a female staff member who also helped with cooking. The edamame we ordered was a generous portion and tasted very fresh. It went well with the classic draft beer, which we enjoyed. For skewers, we ordered: 1) tsukune and liver with sauce, 2) negima and pork skewers with salt, and 3) negima with sauce. It was interesting that each skewer came with a different condiment: 1) mustard, 2) yuzu pepper, and 3) grated radish. They put thought into the combinations. As our stomachs filled up, we switched to different drinks: highball, lemon sour, and umeshu sour. The food was so tasty that we couldn't stop drinking. We found a great restaurant and will definitely visit again.
