The Ebi Chili Burger is a hidden gem in my opinion, I wish they also offered it as a standalone dish! The dumplings were delicious, much better than frozen ones. The portion was generous and my goal was to finish it all, which I did in the end haha. The sauce was thick and flavorful. There is a slightly larger parking lot a short distance away.

On the last day of my trip to Hakodate, I had lunch at Lucky Pierrot for the first time in years. Since all the branches were crowded, we found a hidden gem of a shop. When I used to live in Hokkaido, I always ordered something other than burgers, but this time, after so long, I went for the classic Chinese Chicken Burger, while my wife got her usual Shrimp Chili Burger, along with Lucky Potatoes. Lucky Pierrot, a popular hamburger chain in Hakodate, has around 17 stores, and among them, Lucky Pierrot Hito-mi store is the only one that offers "ramen" on the menu, so I went there. I arrived at the restaurant around 9 p.m. There is a dedicated parking lot a little further away. I ordered the Salt Ramen for 715 yen using the order first system. The interior of the restaurant is mainly table seating. The ramen arrived. The noodles are medium-thick curly noodles, firm and delicious. The soup is a salt-based white animal broth. The salt, miso, and soy sauce on the menu all have the same base soup, with a slightly disliked presence of artificial flavorings and no distinct taste. Personally, I think the miso sauce would go better with this soup. Toppings include char siu, fried egg, menma, and bean sprouts. At Lucky Pierrot, you should definitely try the hamburgers! I got some insider information from a local and decided to visit to try their ramen. You can only enjoy ramen at the "Hitomimachi" location out of Lucky Pierrot's 17 stores. Each store has different menus and themes, which is part of Lucky Pierrot's concept. The Hitomimachi location is at 24-15 Hitomimachi, Hakodate. It's located below Goryokaku, near the velodrome. The parking lot is available next to the store, with space for 7 cars across the street from the drugstore. The store has a 50s American diner style, but the waitresses are friendly local ladies. The Hitomimachi store is known for having a relatively older staff compared to other Lucky Pierrot locations. I ordered the "Shio Ramen" for 715 yen. Lucky Pierrot's ramen is said to be inherited from the ramen served at the founder's Chinese restaurant "Silk Road" before Lucky Pierrot. The ramen arrived after about 7 minutes. The Hakodate shio ramen had a brown soup instead of the usual clear one. The noodles were medium-thick yellow egg noodles, and the toppings included bean sprouts, green onions, seaweed, bamboo shoots, chashu, and fried egg. The chashu was thin and large, with a classic taste. The bamboo shoots seemed like pre-made toppings and were a bit salty. The fried egg was tasty and unique. I finished every drop of the soup and noodles, and it was delicious. This local-style ramen from Lucky Pierrot was like a nostalgic food court ramen. It blended well into everyday life. It's a well-known fast food restaurant in Hakodate! I always go for the double cutlet bowl here! I usually order by phone and take it out. The double cutlet bowl has double the cutlet and rice, but the price is less than 1000 yen including tax, haha. The cost performance is amazing. The taste is not like a specialty restaurant, but it's quite good.

I haven't conquered all the stores yet, but this is my second time at the Hitomi store☆ This Hitomi store is special, isn't it?
