"I visited the ramen stand 'MEN BOX' in Sakaisuji Hommachi and tried their 'Chicken and Pork Soy Sauce Dipping Noodles (850 yen)'. The broth is made from chicken and pork bones, with a slightly thick soy sauce dipping sauce that has a well-balanced flavor of rich chicken and pork bone broth enhanced by sweetness and acidity. The homemade noodles are thick and straight, with a chewy texture that pairs well with the flavorful wheat taste. The tender slices of pork belly in the dipping sauce are seasoned just right, adding a delicious meaty flavor. You can also adjust the flavor with black pepper and chili pepper on the table."

I visited before 2 pm, but the tsukemen and maze soba were already sold out, so I ordered ramen instead. I was curious about the limited menu items, but I ordered the main dish, "toriton shoyu". The rich flavor of chicken and pork bone combined with the soy sauce was delicious, and the soup was so good that I could drink it all up. The noodles were medium-thin and straight, with a small portion, and I slurped them up quickly. I definitely want to try the maze soba and tsukemen next time.

Hello! It's Ramen Walking here! Today, I visited Men Box, a ramen stand in Sakaisuji Hommachi, and tried their "Tori Ton Shoyu" ramen. I usually eat healthy on weekends, so at the beginning of the week, I crave rich flavors. I felt like having a white soup ramen today, so I decided to visit a ramen shop I had bookmarked before. I arrived at 12:10 and there were 3 people waiting outside. I thought the turnover for ramen would be quick, so I waited in line and managed to get in by 12:15. I ordered the Tori Ton Shoyu lunch set for 1,000 yen, which came with 2 pieces of fried chicken and white rice. The soup had a strong pork scent despite being listed as chicken and pork broth. The soy sauce seasoning was also intense, contrary to the simple name of the ramen. The noodles were homemade thin straight noodles with a rich wheat color, providing a pleasant slurping experience. The toppings included thickly sliced chashu, menma, green onions, shallots, and what seemed to be spring greens. The chashu was tender and well-cooked, while the spring greens added a refreshing and surprising touch to the ramen. The fried chicken was small but satisfying, and the rice portion was also just right for lunch. Overall, Men Box ramen stand, thank you for the delicious meal! Today's step count: 13,449 steps. It was a delicious tsukemen with a slightly thicker soup base, so even with a large serving, there was plenty of room. The dipping sauce was on the sweeter side, similar to Rokurinsha style maybe? The chashu rice bowl looked more appetizing than the fried chicken. The rich tsukemen with a large serving in a lunch set for 1400 yen? I personally prefer something richer or more intense.

First visit ▪︎ Ordered the Toriton Shoyu + Char Siu Don. Toriton Shoyu was recommended on the menu. ▪︎ Cost performance: Good. The price during lunch time from 11:00-14:30 is ¥1,000 tax included, which feels like a good deal. Personally, I recommend the Char Siu Don as it was tender and had plenty of toppings. Sprinkling black pepper from the tabletop added a delicious fragrance. Thank you for the meal!

I've been going to this restaurant since it opened because it's in my neighborhood. It always seems busy, and it's a delicious ramen shop that I sometimes crave. If you go for lunch, the fried chicken set meal is a must. The photo is of their ramen, but I prefer the soy sauce with chicken and pork. The noodles are firm and they say it's called "Spring Love." Besides the taste, the down-to-earth customer service is great, and the classic hip-hop music playing at a moderate volume reminds me of hanging out at a friend's house during my school days. Sometimes they play ATCQ. It's a subtle but enjoyable touch.

Mix soba for 800 yen. The straight noodles were delicious, and the rich sauce at the bottom was also tasty. During lunchtime, they offer great deals like ramen with fried chicken and rice, ramen with pork bowl, or ramen with mixed rice for 1000 yen.

I used it for lunch during my lunch break. The taste is so rich and packed with flavor, even more than it looks in the picture. The soup is incredibly delicious. Every time you slurp the noodles, the taste spreads in your mouth. Thank you for the feast.

I visited "Ramen Stand Men Box" in Sakaisuji Hommachi for lunch for the first time. I arrived late for lunch and didn't have to wait to be seated. The restaurant has 7 counter seats, 2 tables for two, and 1 table for four. The staff was polite and made me feel comfortable. I was unsure of what to order, but I decided on the regular "Maru Chicken Shoyu Ramen" with an extra seasoned egg topping. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The soup was rich but not too heavy, and the medium-thick straight noodles were delicious. The seasoned egg was flavorful and added to the overall deliciousness of the ramen. It was a highly satisfying and tasty bowl of ramen!

Visit date: 12:10 on a weekday Wait time: 15 minutes Menu: Lunch menu (Chicken and Pork Soy Sauce Ramen + Chashu Bowl) for 1,000 yen There was no line, so I entered the restaurant and there were two people waiting ahead of me. I waited about 15 minutes until I was seated. During the wait, I purchased a meal ticket. I chose the recommended menu item, the Chicken and Pork Soy Sauce Ramen. The soup, made with chicken and pork bone, had a strong soy sauce flavor and the medium-thick noodles were delicious. The Chashu Bowl had a rich and flavorful seasoning as well, and it was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Toriton Soy Sauce Ramen 800 yen Lunch Menu: Simmered Pork and Burdock Rice 200 yen The soup is hot Flat straight medium-thick noodles The soup is a blend of chicken and pork broth with a perfectly balanced soy sauce flavor. The noodles are flat and chewy, adding to the deliciousness. The toppings include mitsuba (trefoil), green onions, onions, menma (bamboo shoots), and chashu (sliced pork). The chashu has a tender texture and is delicious. Parking: Used a parking ticket for street parking at 300 yen as there are only expensive coin parking lots nearby.

First visit. The recommended dish seems to be the chicken and soy sauce ramen, but I haven't had miso flavor recently so I ordered the miso ramen. The soup was thick and looked quite rich. When I tried it, it was okay, but the richness was as expected from the appearance. The side dish of mixed rice had a strong ginger flavor and was delicious.

"Toriton Shoyu Ramen" for 800 yen [Soup] A slightly thick and flavorful pork bone and chicken white broth. It has a dark brown color but no spiciness from soy sauce, very delicious. [Noodles] Medium thickness, smooth and chewy straight noodles that go well with the soup. [Toppings] Thick slices of pork chashu, thinly sliced crunchy menma (bamboo shoots), mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley), onions, and green onions. I visited this restaurant for the first time, even though it seems like they have been popular for a while. The owner quickly served the Toriton Shoyu Ramen, which I assume is their signature dish. The soup was exactly to my liking, and the noodles were delicious. Considering the location and the price, it felt like a good deal. They have a variety of other menu items, so I would like to revisit. Thank you for the meal.

"The 'Toriton Shoyu' for 780 yen is a blend of chicken and pork bone, creating a delicious hybrid. The rich and creamy soy sauce-based soup pairs perfectly with the chewy noodles, keeping you satisfied until the very last bite. Toppings include Mitsuba, green onions, and char siu. Delicious. Thank you for the meal."

I visited the ramen stand "MEN BOX Sakaisuji Hommachi" in Chuo-ku, Osaka. It is located right by the 6th exit of Sakaisuji Hommachi Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line, facing south. If you are driving, parking tickets along Chuo-dori are convenient. The interior of the shop is long and narrow, with a straight counter seating for 7, two 2-person tables, and one 4-person table. There were no other guests on a Saturday evening after 6 pm. The young male staff were running the shop. The condiments on the table were just chili pepper and black pepper. I ordered the "Tori Ton Shoyu" for 800 yen. The caramel-colored soup in the trapezoidal bowl had a collagen-rich texture that was not too heavy or too light. It is a blend of chicken and pork soup, but the sweet, fragrant caramel taste resembles a soy sauce flavor. The medium-thin straight noodles were supple with a good wheat flavor, complementing the soup well. The toppings included thinly sliced pork chashu with a subtle marinade, crunchy menma, chopped green onions, and Mitsuba. It was a delicious meal.

Today, I visited a popular ramen shop that my senior recommended. I had to wait a bit since it was lunchtime. While waiting, I ordered the lunch set menu (1000 yen) which allowed me to choose my favorite ramen along with either fried chicken or char siu rice bowl. I chose the soy sauce ramen with fried chicken set. After a 10-minute wait, I finally entered the shop and sat at the counter. The stylish bowl of ramen arrived, featuring a creamy soup with a mix of chicken and soy sauce. The first bite was delicious! The soup had a smooth texture with a strong soy sauce flavor. The noodles were chewy and medium-thick. The fried chicken in the set was the best part, well-seasoned and juicy. The only downside was the operation, which was not efficient. Overall, the ramen was great, but they could improve on reducing the wait time.

The interior of the shop is chic, with a counter at the back and table seats in the front. I chose the mixed noodles (800 yen) with a sauce that reminds me of Chinese oil-drizzled chicken, paired with thick straight noodles. The taste may vary depending on personal preference, but I am interested in trying other menu items as well. The cost performance is good.

I went to Ramen Stand Menbox located in Kyutarocho 1-chome, near Sakaisuji Hommachi and Minamisenba. There were about 6 people waiting in line. Ramen shops are really popular, huh? According to Tabelog, the seating capacity is 15. I was seated at the counter in the back. The interior is very tall and narrow. ^^ I ordered the Toriton Shoyu Ramen with Karaage set for 1,000 yen. I also ordered the Toriton Shoyu Ramen with Chashu Don for 1,000 yen. They use chicken and pork bones, that's why it's called "Toriton". The shoyu flavor was subtle, with a stronger pork bone taste. It was very delicious.

Ramen fierce battle zone in Sakaisuji Honmachi. Or rather, it's difficult to find a low-rated shop in this area. ◎ Toriton Shoyu 750 yen [Noodles] A straight noodle that is thin and medium thick. It has a strong and wheaty flavor that doesn't lose to the rich and hot soup. Makes you want to try the tsukemen as well. [Soup] Toriton = a combination of pork bone and chicken broth. The soup has a rich viscosity with emulsified foam. The soy sauce seasoning is strong, but it doesn't stand out too much against the rich broth. The collagen is so strong that it makes your lips sticky. And the noodles are so hot that it's difficult to slurp them. Fantastic! [Chashu] Looks delicious, but it's quite thin and soft, so it gets overpowered by the soup. [Menma] Thinly sliced with a crunchy texture and delicate seasoning. It's rare to find a ramen shop in Osaka that puts effort into their menma, so it's a pleasant surprise. [Others] Good choice of mitsuba and white leek. In my experience, onions would go well with this soup. The high chairs are creaking and wobbling, with young people sitting around chatting casually with background music. No one is wearing hats. The ramen is delicious, but the atmosphere is a bit lacking. Thank you for the meal.
