Rare secret drinking party with unusual colleagues with 4 people w! At times like this, it's always reliable to have Takauchi-san, right!? - Small potato and yuzu simmered dish 350 yen - Moroheiya ohitashi 350 yen - Conger eel and cucumber vinegar 550 yen - Octopus tempura 850 yen - Tama sashimi 900 yen - Sweetfish tempura 650 yen - Cockle and seaweed salad 400 yen - Grilled sweetfish sushi 750 yen - Horse mackerel seared sushi 1000 yen - Eel and cucumber roll 900 yen Sake - Junmai sake Kuroushi, unfiltered raw sake 800 yen - Junmai Ginjo Chokyu, unfiltered raw sake Bizen Osamachi 850 yen - Junmai raw sake Kii Kuniya Monzaemon, cold cloudy sake 750 yen, etc. w Starting with the opening small dishes, the quality is superb. The cold potato simmered in yuzu aroma, the sticky texture of moroheiya, and the crispy grilled conger eel and cucumber are all delicious. You can't help but go for seconds of the small potato simmered in yuzu. And the fish is also delicious. The octopus tempura with a rich and firm texture, and the elasticity of the cockle. Once you eat this, you won't be able to stop drinking sake, so we kept drinking in 2-go units w. The charm of having really delicious sake from Wakayama is also great! A must-eat is the seared horse mackerel sushi. On this day, there was also grilled sweetfish sushi, so the excitement went up w. The rice dishes are so delicious that we added the eel and cucumber roll! We continued to drink freely for about 4 hours and the price was just a little over 6000 yen per person, which is also wonderful. A Japanese izakaya where carefully prepared delicious dishes can be enjoyed at a reasonable price with no complaints. Seriously, I want a place like this in my neighborhood. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on 8/24 for dinner. Ordered for 2 people: - Potato salad - Kiss Tempura - Assorted sashimi (red snapper, scallop, bonito) - Ayu pressed sushi - Nagisa beer Pale Ale - Nagisa beer American Wheat - Draft beer Chokkyu 1 cup - Juyaku Dai 1 cup Yesterday, I went on a tour of famous izakayas with a former senior colleague from work. We started here. We arrived for our 7 pm reservation to find that 3 groups of customers were already having a great time. We ordered randomly from the hard-to-read menu on the blackboard. To my disappointment, the horse mackerel sushi I was looking forward to as the finale was sold out after a while. How can an izakaya run out of something? This was quite disappointing. The ayu sushi we ordered as a substitute was just okay. The selection of sake was limited and not impressive. The total bill for 2 people was 7200 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I was invited to Sake Bar Takeuchi in Temma. It's a Japanese restaurant with a wide variety of fish dishes, and each fish dish is delicious. I was impressed by the way they served the ayu sushi we ordered this time. Sake Bar Takeuchi, Osaka, Osaka City, Kita-ku, Yorikimachi 4-8, Suhiro Center Building 1F.

About a 10-minute walk from Nambokucho Station. The location is a bit inconvenient, which might explain the low prices! This izakaya specializes in fish dishes. I tried to make a reservation before, but it was fully booked, so I made a reservation two weeks in advance this time. We ordered: simmered small taro with yuzu, asparagus with miso and sesame, grilled conger eel liver with sansho pepper, sand sole tempura, pike conger tempura, shirako tempura, assorted sashimi (not on the menu, but the landlady mentioned they could do it), grilled smelt with salt, and seared horse mackerel sushi. For 3 people, we had 1 highball, 2 chu-hi, and 1 sake. We ate to our heart's content for about 14,000 yen. It's unbelievably cheap. I was surprised. Considering the balance of price and taste, I think the cost performance is outstanding. It's great for casual dining.

"I came across a review saying 'everything tastes delicious' and I just had to check it out! Plus, the prices were very wallet-friendly! But of course, being selected as one of the top 100 restaurants, I couldn't get a reservation right away... That's just how it is. But I was really looking forward to it, so I visited the restaurant in the evening, being the first customer. Soon, regulars and reserved guests started to arrive. Some walk-ins also came, but it seemed like the place was fully booked. The must-try appetizers were the 'Yuzu-simmered Small Potatoes' and 'Shrimp and Vegetable Gratin.' I also ordered the 'Asparagus with Miso Dressing' and 'Clam with Vinegar Dressing' from the menu shown to me. For the main dish, I chose the sashimi platter (yellowtail, horse mackerel, squid) and the salt-grilled red snapper. My companion loves squid, so we also ordered 'Grilled Squid Legs' and 'Sakura Shrimp Tempura.' I was worried that we ordered too much, but everything from the appetizers to the sashimi, grilled dishes, and tempura was delicious. We kept ordering beer, water, and whiskey on the rocks. The clam soup my companion had was rich and tasty. We also tried the seared horse mackerel sushi, which was juicy and fatty, really delicious! My only regret was not ordering the red clam for sashimi and the sake-steamed clams. The chef worked diligently in the kitchen, while the friendly hostess provided warm service. It's a lovely place where you can enjoy a meal and drinks without any pretense. I will definitely visit again."

[Osaka/Fanmachi] The seafood here is incredibly delicious!! A cozy izakaya with a reasonable price and meticulous work by the chef - "Takeuchi". The chef, originally from Wakayama, runs more of a small dishes restaurant than an izakaya. I've always wanted to visit this place! Located a bit off the beaten path from Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, when you open the door, you'll find a small shop with a counter for 6 and about three tables for 4 people each. The interior has a calm, down-to-earth atmosphere, and they offer a variety of delicious local sakes. The menu includes sashimi, grilled dishes, tempura, and a wide range of seafood dishes. The highlight is their delicious seafood dishes! [Delicious seafood dishes include:] - Tai no ko (sea bream roe) - Small taro simmered in yuzu - Assorted sashimi - Shrimp and vegetable gratin - Grilled horse mackerel sushi - Cherry shrimp tempura - Grilled sweet sea bream The small taro simmered in yuzu has a refined broth with a hint of yuzu that pairs perfectly with the tender taro. The assorted sashimi is as fresh as you would find in a seafood restaurant. The squid, ark shell, tuna, all delicious! Since the mackerel sushi was not available, I tried the grilled horse mackerel sushi instead. The horse mackerel was tender, with a perfect balance of vinegar and salt, incredibly delicious! The final dish, the hearty grilled sweet sea bream, had tender flesh that easily came off with chopsticks. The perfect balance of salt and the crispy skin with the tender flesh was amazing! Every dish was truly delicious!! And the bill came out to about 4000 yen per person. To be able to enjoy such quality dishes at this price is simply amazing! It's no wonder this place is so popular! Bon appétit!

First visit to Takeuchi in Minamimorimachi, Osaka. It's all about fish here. I tried the kettle-boiled whitebait as an appetizer. It was delicious. The sashimi platter included bonito, red snapper, and horse mackerel. All of them were fresh and tasty. Especially the red snapper had a good texture and freshness. The simmered hime fish was also good, you could eat it with the bones. They had a good variety of sake, but I refrained from drinking due to excessive drinking in the past days. Finally, I had the fried horse mackerel, which was perfect in size and crispiness. Thank you for the meal.

This is my third visit to Takeuchi-san this year. I last visited in April, and the time before that was in February, so I've been coming almost every month. Lately, it's been hard to get weekend reservations, but I hope Takeuchi-san remains a place I can visit easily anytime. The sweet potato and yuzu simmered dish, clam soup, and gratin are all consistently delicious. Just like last time, I tried to order the gratin without cheese, and the owner remembered, saying, "Without cheese, right?" It's understandable, who orders like that, right? But this type without the saltiness of cheese seems to suit us better. This 14th visit, I tried ordering potato fries for the first time, but I think I don't need to order them at Takeuchi-san. They're delicious, but not necessary. Next time, I want to try the oden that I'm curious about. I had beer, white wine, sake, and highball, and as always, the bill was clear and straightforward. I look forward to going back next month. Thank you for the meal.

This is a highly rated izakaya among the top 100 in the country, where business people unanimously say "It's so relaxing♡". It's hard to distinguish between an izakaya and a traditional Japanese restaurant, but this place has a strong sense of homeliness with a variety of dishes. Located just a few minutes' walk from the center of the business district in Ogimachi, it's called "Takeuchi" restaurant. You'll see a red lantern lighting up on the edge of the building, truly an oasis in the city♡ This cozy izakaya has only 6 counter seats and 3 table seats. You can enjoy carefully prepared sashimi, grilled dishes, simmered dishes, tempura, and more a la carte. While looking at the daily recommended menu written on the blackboard, I ordered what caught my eye. The "Simmered Sea Bream Roe" I had first was so delicious!! The "Chicken Shellfish Nuta" was also refreshing and a perfect match for drinks♡ The sake I had was mostly from Wakayama, which made me, a fan of L'Arc-en-Ciel's HYDE and soccer player Kubo Takefusa, very happy. ★Kurogyu (Wakayama) ★Chokyu (Wakayama) ★Kishu Citrus Highball (Wakayama) With these, if they had "Kido", "Nanpo", and "Saga", it would be perfect~(*´罒`*)♡ Everything I ate was delicious and reasonably priced! This is the ultimate izakaya✩.*˚ and I'm so impressed. It's a really wonderful place that you can enjoy with friends, have a mature date, or a girls' night out. The friendly and homey atmosphere of the staff is also great. The tempura with seasonal vegetables was so delicious♡ A point for me is that a restaurant with delicious tempura is a winner!゚・*:.。..。.:*・'(*゚▽゚*)'・*:.。. .。.:*・。It's a popular restaurant that is hard to get a reservation at, but I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal (*´▽`人)

On this day, I was able to make a reservation at the popular izakaya restaurant Takeuchi in Ogimachi, so I went there with my partner. When we entered the restaurant, the counter seats were already full, so they prepared a table seat in the middle for us. We started with a Wakayama sake, Kurogyu, cheers! (*^^)o凵凵o(^^*)♪ Now, let's order from the izakaya menu! We ordered: rolled omelette, taikonoko simmered dish, grilled torigai with miso, simmered yamabuki sansho, simmered baigai, potato salad, vegetable tempura, and grilled horse mackerel sushi. We mainly ordered simmered dishes, and they were all amazing with perfect seasoning and cooking. The rolled omelette was incredibly fluffy and juicy, I couldn't help but drink the first one without chewing it haha. It's definitely in the top 3 rolled omelettes I've ever had! The vegetable tempura had a great variety including burdock root, shishito pepper, pumpkin, shiitake mushroom, lotus root, eggplant, sweet potato, onion, bamboo shoot, and more, perfect for vegetable lovers. The grilled horse mackerel sushi was fatty and delicious, with the vinegar rice just right, it was exquisite. After the initial Kurogyu, we had Naga Hisashi and finished with a Kishu citrus highball to cleanse our palates. With all this food and drink, the bill was less than 5000 yen per person, truly amazing value for money. Since I couldn't try the highly recommended mackerel sushi due to the season, I hope to come back for it when mackerel is in season. Thank you for the delicious meal! m(_ _)m

I finally managed to visit the homework shop! I made a reservation for 6:30 PM, but when I arrived, it was already full! I really wanted to try the small potato with yuzu simmered dish, and luckily there was only one portion left when I ordered two. Phew! I ordered a variety of dishes, and the landlady recommended ordering the mackerel stick sushi early, so I did. The service was great, the food was delicious, and it's a great izakaya. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

First visit. I made a reservation after seeing some lovely reviews from followers on Tabelog. I was surprised to find out that the restaurant was actually quite close to my house (^◇^;) We were seated at a table for four and started off with a toast. We placed our order, and also ordered some small dishes which arrived quickly. We had: - Assorted sashimi - Simmered small potatoes with yuzu - Spicy simmered lotus root - Eel and cucumber vinegar - Miso soup - Oden (radish, konjac, beef tendon, small potatoes) - Vegetable tempura - Salt-grilled sand dab - Houbou (gurnard) tempura Everything was delicious, especially the sea bream sashimi which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The simmered small potatoes with yuzu were delicate and not too soft. The eel and cucumber vinegar had a great flavor with a nice kick from wasabi. The miso soup was gentle, and the oden was perfectly cooked with a great balance of flavors. The salt-grilled sand dab was moist and perfectly seasoned. The fried dishes were also delicious, not greasy at all and had a nice crispy texture. The vegetables were fresh, and the houbou was tender and flavorful. Everything was so tasty. I wish I could have a drink here every night. Thank you for the delicious meal! I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the feast!

You can walk from Senmachi Station and Minamimorimachi Station to this restaurant. The shop is located in a quiet area. The proprietress is a very elegant lady. There are many delicious izakayas in Osaka, but this restaurant is definitely one of the top five. The sashimi is outstanding, and you can feel the skill in grilling and simmering the fish. I have visited countless izakayas, but I believe this restaurant is of a very high level even within Japan.

Visit date and time: 7:00 PM, Sunday Waiting time: Reservation Menu: A la carte I arrived at Temma Station around 6:20 PM. When I called at 6:30 PM to see if we could enter, they said it was okay to come at 7:00 PM. I wandered around the town for about 30 minutes before visiting. There were many fish dishes on the blackboard. We ordered a sashimi platter, simmered kinmedai (golden eye snapper), and oyster vinegar. When we ordered the kinmedai, it was removed from the blackboard. Items get removed from the board when they sell out, so it might be good to visit early. Being selected as one of the top 100 restaurants, the food was delicious. Not only the fish dishes, but the shrimp and vegetable gratin was also tasty. Although some dishes seemed a bit pricey, the oyster vinegar had 7-8 oysters, so the overall value was good. I would like to come back to eat here again. Thank you for the meal.

Tucked away 5-7 minutes from Senmachi Station is the popular and highly-rated izakaya, Takeuchi. Known for its delicious food at reasonable prices, this izakaya was selected as one of the top 100 izakayas in 2022. The menu offers a wide variety of options including oden, seafood dishes, fried foods, tempura, and small plates, making it hard to choose just one. During my visit, I tried the potato salad, daikon oden, beef tendon, fried oysters, and seared horse mackerel sushi. The piping hot oden had a rich and concentrated broth, perfect for warming up with some sake in the cold season. The classic dishes like potato salad and oyster fry were expertly seasoned to bring out the best in the ingredients. The seared horse mackerel sushi was incredibly flavorful with its rich and melt-in-your-mouth texture. From start to finish, it was a satisfying dining experience, so I highly recommend paying a visit. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Since July of this year, it has been three months since my last visit. This time, starting with the incredibly delicious simmered taro and yuzu, to the always champion clam soup, every dish was meticulously prepared and absolutely satisfying. It's autumn now, so it's the perfect season for tasty taro. The soft and tender simmered taro, with a gentle dashi broth and yuzu flavor...seriously, this is the champion of simmered taro. Mr. Tanaka, who visited the other day, should definitely try this simple taro and yuzu dish instead of the squid one haha. When it comes to autumn flavors, it's got to be saury. The prices have been rising sharply in recent years, making it hard to enjoy, so I couldn't help but order it. Also, the spinach side dish I ordered for the first time was just right as a break from the saury. And don't forget about their gratin! A slightly Japanese-style gratin with a strong dashi flavor that is incredibly delicious! This time, I was a little concerned about the saltiness of the cheese, but I truly think this is the champion of gratins. For the third round, I ordered the "katsuo no tsukemaki" that I saw for the first time. The fresh bonito with cucumber, green onion, and sesame condiments worked really well together. Of course, I also ordered the best masterpiece clam soup. Ah...it warms your entire body and soul. Lately, I've been focusing more on revisiting restaurants rather than trying new ones, and I've come to realize that with each revisit, there are some places where I start to get bored or feel like something's missing. However, at Takeuchi, every time I revisit, they never fail to satisfy my stomach and heart without a doubt. Once again, I ate to my heart's content, drank as much as I wanted, and the bill came out to around ¥4000 per person. Maybe I should increase my revisit frequency a bit? Thank you to the chef and the hostess as always. Thank you for the feast.

Sake bar Takeuchi (izakaya) in Yoriki-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City. Established in July 2009, run by a couple from Wakayama. At first glance, the quiet master prepares the dishes alone, while the gentle atmosphere of the wife shines through in her service. The cozy interior consists of a counter with 6 seats and about 3 small tables for 4 people each. It's positioned as more than an izakaya but less than a traditional Japanese restaurant, offering authentic and delicious dishes prepared by the master who trained in traditional Japanese cuisine, all at izakaya prices. The value for money is unbeatable, attracting a steady stream of customers, so reservations are a must. Popular dishes include seared horse mackerel sushi, eel and cucumber salad, rolled omelette, simmered taro with yuzu, grilled mackerel with salt, boiled clams, potato salad, and various oden items listed on the daily specials board. The menu is extensive, but some items sell out quickly, so arriving early is recommended. It's also a good idea to reserve popular pressed sushi dishes with your first order. The saba (mackerel) stick sushi in autumn and winter is a must-try. All the dishes are truly delicious, and the oden is not to be underestimated, with a superb balance of flavors and textures in the daikon radish. The sake selection includes Kishu Koku from Wakayama and Jyurakudai from Sasaki Sake Brewery in Kyoto, known for their ties to the Sasaki family. The combination of the master's delicious dishes, the wife's warm service, and the serene atmosphere make this a truly comforting and welcoming place to dine. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Three famous reviewers gathered for a drink at the first restaurant✨ We headed to a traditional Japanese restaurant run by a young couple who used to work in the entertainment district! First things first, we toasted with beer✨ We left the ordering to the regular customers, and we enjoyed eating and drinking! - Simmered small taro with yuzu: $3.50 Starting with a highly praised menu item, the aroma of yuzu and gentle dashi broth were delightful✨ The small taro had just the right amount of firmness, showcasing the skill of the professionals! - Sukiyaki simmer: $4.50 A rare meat dish here✨ The meat, tofu, green onions, and delicate seasoning were all delicious and refined✨ - Potato salad: $3.00 - Grilled conger eel with cucumber in vinegar: $5.50 Perfect for pairing with alcohol! The small size was great for trying a variety of dishes✨ The classic potato salad was heartwarming, and the balance of vinegar was just right! The crispy cucumber and tender conger eel were delightful! - Assorted sashimi: tuna, kuchimi (yellowback seabream), red snapper, marinated swordtip squid, octopus, and whale: A sweet soy sauce was served with it✨ The tuna was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the kuchimi was delicate, and the white fish was fantastic✨ The red snapper, squid, octopus, and rare whale were all rich in flavor✨ - Conger eel tempura: $8.50 - Simmered striped mullet: $12.00 The conger eel was light and crispy, with a perfectly crisp coating✨ The simmered dish had a marvelous seasoning that allowed the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine✨ A perfect balance of gentle and delicious! We also tried the pressed sushi that everyone was enjoying: - Pacific saury sushi: $9.50 - Escolar seared sushi: $9.00 From mackerel to seasonal Pacific saury✨ The thick Pacific saury this year was exceptional✨ The beautiful cross-section revealed a rich layer of fat and the autumn flavors were packed in✨ The escolar was mild and the seared aroma added a perfect touch✨ To finish, we had dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) for $5.00, which was light and fluffy☀️ Everyone was in high spirits! Off to the next bar in Temma for more delicious food and drinks! Cheers to you('□' )yum ===========
