I visited this place for the first time on 8/29/2023, just before my appointment. I had the "Chicken Ramen (Large) ¥1,000" with garlic. It's not often that I eat out, but when I finished my meal and was leaving the restaurant, I told the staff, "It was delicious - a perfect match for my taste." The soup, noodles, and toppings were all to my liking! The noodles were around 300g (large), and even though I was quite full by the end, it was seriously delicious until the last bite. Last time in June, when I was nearby, I was disappointed to find that the restaurant was already closed. So, it was a great decision to come back for a rematch this time. I would like to come again soon to try other menu items and maybe even visit the main store.

Visited the restaurant with coworkers. Only coin parking available nearby. Although they also had chicken ramen, I decided to order the Chinese ramen that I've been into lately. The flavor of the chashu was a bit light, but the soup was rich and satisfying. I regret not ordering rice on the side.

Nagata store of Kyubei Group, which is mainly located in Higashi Osaka. They offer soy sauce-based Chuka Soba, salt-based Shio Soba, and Jiro-style Tori Soba, and it seems to be a popular place. However, I couldn't visit often because they are closed on weekends. The interior of the store had a Western-style atmosphere like a coffee shop. I ordered the Chuka Soba for 750 yen. The clear soy sauce soup, neatly folded straight flat noodles, and toppings of green onions, menma, and char siu made it a simple Chuka Soba. The soup had the familiar taste of chicken bone soy sauce, but it also had a rich umami flavor coming from the depths. The smooth noodles had a firm texture and aroma, giving a sense of being carefully made. It was indeed a delicious place that I could understand why it is popular. I visited on Thursday at 12:40 pm, and the store was bustling.

I had some business near Nagata Station, so I decided to visit this place for the first time as it is close to the station. I bought a ticket from the vending machine for the unique Chinese soba with both soy sauce and salt-based sauce for 750 yen. When I arrived just before noon, it was almost full, but I was able to find a seat at the counter quickly. The shop was constantly busy with nearby office workers and customers in work clothes coming in. There are 3 staff members, but the owner is the one handling the cooking, so it took a bit of time for the food to be served. The soup initially had a strong chicken oil flavor which was a bit overwhelming. However, it gradually mellowed out. The effect of using both soy sauce and salt-based sauce seemed to balance out the sharpness of the soy sauce with a milder taste from the salt. The noodles were flat and very smooth, but I found them a bit powdery in taste and not quite satisfying when paired with the soup. The chashu was made from pork loin and had a rich and unique taste, different from the typical rare chashu. The dish also included two pieces of bamboo shoots, green onions, and minced purple onions. While I may have had high expectations, other customers seemed to prefer the "chicken soba" which had a hefty serving of chashu resembling a steak and a generous amount of vegetables, similar to Jiro-style ramen. I would like to try it next time if I have the chance. I learned that there is a main store near Aramoto Station and multiple branches in Osaka city. I also discovered that there is a shop with the same name near Kyobashi Station, which seems to be owned by the same owner. I would like to visit that one as well.

Chicken Ramen Medium 850 yen Once you try the chicken ramen here, you will definitely become a regular customer. I visited after 3 months and it was still satisfyingly hearty with plenty of vegetables. You can also add garlic on the side. It's a perfect way to end November. The soup, noodles, and chashu are all top-notch. I have actually visited three days in a row in the past.

After finishing a meeting with the client, I stopped by this restaurant. In conclusion, it was delicious. At first, the unique smell of chicken broth in the restaurant bothered me, but I got used to it over time. Also, the polite and friendly service from the staff (I forgot their names, sorry) left a good impression. I ordered ramen with almost all the toppings, and everything from the soup, noodles, to the toppings was delicious. I will definitely visit again.

Like a bell, I visited the restaurant three days in a row. My goal was to savor the chicken ramen (medium) while eating. On my first visit, I ordered the same chicken ramen but I was in a hurry and ended up eating quickly. The place was still crowded as always, with customers coming in one after another without a break. It must be a taste that keeps customers coming back. Indeed, I have become a repeat customer myself (laughs)

Today, I visited the restaurant again after going yesterday. I ordered my favorite cold noodles (limited edition A). The owner said it would take some time. The price was 1000 yen. After a short wait, the cold noodles arrived. The noodles were nicely chilled, and the roasted pork and boiled egg were of good quality. It was a moment of bliss. As I left, the owner said they look forward to my next visit. I replied "yes" without hesitation. I want to come back and savor the food slowly next time. This restaurant is a definite repeat visit. Chicken Ramen - Medium - 850 yen There have been times when I hurriedly ate due to lack of time, but overall, I can say that this ramen is filled with vegetables and has a rich chicken broth that makes it an excellent soup. The chashu pork slices are thick and you can tell that they use good quality ingredients. The medium thick noodles also go perfectly with the soup. I actually went to eat chilled Chinese noodles, but there was no picture of it at the entrance, so I ended up ordering the chicken ramen. The customer who came after me actually ordered the chilled Chinese noodles! (laughs) I plan to come back next time to try the chilled Chinese noodles.

Chuka Soba Kyubei Honten (Osaka, Aramoto) - Hiyashi Chuka: 1,000 yen with Iggy & Zafooru ------------------------------- 2022 Ramen #134 ------------------------------- Today, I visited Chuka Soba Kyubei for the first time at their main store in Aramoto, Osaka. Instead of their regular Chuka Soba, I decided to try their Hiyashi Chuka. The restaurant operates continuously, so I didn't have to worry about the opening hours. I arrived at 3:30 pm and was able to enter without waiting. I quickly purchased the Hiyashi Chuka from the ticket machine and my order arrived in 15 minutes. Soup: The sauce was a mildly sour soy sauce flavor, not too strong, allowing the noodles to be the star. Personally, I prefer a sauce with a bit more soy sauce flavor, but adding vinegar with dried fish completely transformed the dish, adding a refreshing acidity that brought the noodles to life. The option to customize the taste with the included mustard and grated radish was a nice touch, adding a spicy kick and enhancing the coolness. Noodles: The noodles were medium-thick straight noodles with a beautiful shine. They were firm and had a refreshing texture, making them very delicious. The noodles had a good chewiness and were very easy to eat. Chashu: The chashu consisted of seared chashu and ham. The seared chashu was fragrant and had a great meaty texture, while the ham was moist and delicious. Overall, the Hiyashi Chuka, with its focus on the noodles, was a perfect dish for summer with its coolness and customizable options. I quickly finished the noodles, they were that good. The fact that there is parking space for 5 cars in front of the restaurant is also a plus. However, I was surprised to find that there were no staff members in the kitchen or inside the restaurant when I left.

During a business trip to Osaka, I was looking for a place to have dinner near my accommodation and came across this place. After seeing the photo of the menu posted at the entrance, I decided to try the delicious "Kyubei Soba (1,000 yen)". I entered the restaurant, purchased a meal ticket, and sat at a table. In about 10 minutes, my meal arrived. First, I tried the soup. It was light yet had a clear and distinct flavor with depth. It was delicious. The pork was belly meat today, but it was flavorful and not greasy, making the chashu very tasty. The green onions, red onions, and bamboo shoots also added a nice touch. The noodles were the perfect thickness and very satisfying. Overall, I was very pleased with the meal!

This restaurant with a Tabelog score of 3.62. I arrived during off-peak lunch hours so there was no wait! I ordered the Chinese soba and the Cha-mayo don. The Cha-mayo don was filled with sweetly cooked char siu! The Chinese soba had the taste I was expecting. Thank you for the meal.

Visited around noon. There was only one customer ahead of me, which was lucky considering it's a popular place. I bought a ticket from the machine, and since there weren't many customers, I asked the friendly staff which soy sauce was the richest. They said they were all pretty similar, so I ordered the Kubei soba with plenty of toppings for 1,000 yen. It came with seasoned egg, bamboo shoots, slightly pink rare roast chashu (unusual cut), pork fat, and green onions. The noodles were straight and medium-thin. The soup was incredibly delicious. I couldn't visit before because their operating days were limited, but I'm glad I made it to the original shop. They now have two locations near the Osaka City Hall, run by two women. It was really delicious. I strongly feel like coming back for Kubei soba. Note: There was a suspicious car parked near a certain residence, so parking on the street is strictly prohibited. Please park in a paid parking lot.

Today I was feeling really hungry so I ordered the "Chicken Ramen". The portion size is amazing! It comes with chicken skin on top, lots of vegetables, and the chashu pork slices are huge, which is fantastic. You can also add grated garlic as a topping if you like. It's a satisfying bowl to have once in a while!

Recently, I have only been able to go to a ramen shop about once a week, but I finally made it to "Chukasoba Kyubei Nagata Store" in Nagata, Higashi Osaka, a place that had caught my interest. Overcoming the high hurdle of only being open for lunch on weekdays, I arrived. I selected the representative dish "Kyubei Soba" from the ticket machine at the entrance of the shop. When I went, there were two women working. I always feel like ramen made by women tastes 1.5 times better. The soup had a perfect balance of dashi and soy sauce, and it was so delicious that I could drink it endlessly. The straight noodles had a good firmness. The toppings included green onions, onions, and bamboo shoots. When I cracked the egg, the half-cooked yolk appeared. The large slices of chashu were tender and easy to eat, and they were refreshing, so I could have easily had two slices. There were about 5-6 pieces of oil cake, which added a lot of depth to the flavor. I regretted not ordering rice, but I finished my meal satisfied. I also wanted to try the "Waedama" that I saw later. The "Chicken Soba" that the guy next to me was eating looked very voluminous and delicious, like a Jiro-style ramen (I was staring at it suspiciously). Sometimes I crave "chuka soba" (Chinese-style ramen). On this day, it seems they forgot my order, as they didn't bring out my bowl even after the customer who came after me finished eating... As an apology, they gave me a free egg. Depending on my mood, I also enjoy Jiro-style chicken ramen. The mixed dumplings are also delicious. It's just so good!

The noodles are medium-thick and straight. The soup is a light chicken soy sauce flavor. The noodles slide smoothly into the soup. Chuka soba and Tawara onigiri The Chuka soba has a quite mild soup that is easy to eat. It's soy sauce-based but has a gentle punch hidden in it, so the flavor doesn't get boring. The noodles also go well with the soup and are easy to eat. The Tawara onigiri is delicious as well, but personally, I prefer cold onigiri so that's a slight downside for me. However, the ramen is delicious. Thank you for the meal.
