The rule of not allowing outside food and drinks is a hassle, especially when all the food shops inside the stadium have long lines and overpriced items that aren't even that great. Is it worth waiting in line for a high-priced beer or mediocre food? The stadium should rethink its system and offer better options for fans. Disappointing experience.

On the first day in Hokkaido, I went to the famous Escon Field to watch a baseball game! It was my first time watching a live game in a while, and my heart was filled with excitement. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Today, I will wholeheartedly support the Nippon-Ham Fighters. First, I went to the official merchandise stand to get a uniform. I chose the number 1 uniform of Manager Shinjo. I will be wearing this to cheer today! After getting the uniform, I looked for beer snacks. Inside the field, there were various food stalls like izakayas, sushi shops, yakiniku, gyutan, okonomiyaki, yakitori, and more. Before the game started, there were long lines at every stall. Everyone seemed to have the same idea. But we were all here to enjoy beer and make the baseball game even more fun, so we split up to line up at different stalls. Each of us got some snacks and returned to our designated seats. Now, we just had to wait for our favorite beer! Oh, here it comes. The Sapporo Classic beer seller. We quickly placed our order. Cash was not accepted for food and beer purchases inside the field. Everything had to be paid with cards or smartphones. Impressive, right? Cheers! Ah, Sapporo Classic! This was my first time trying it on this trip. Why does Sapporo Classic taste so good in Hokkaido? We each had about 4-5 beers that day, but surprisingly, we didn't feel too drunk. Maybe it was because we were excited to watch the game live after a long time and to see the Nippon-Ham Fighters play. The smiles and great service from the beer sellers made us want to keep ordering more drinks. On that day, the Nippon-Ham Fighters won! We stayed until the victory ceremony and enjoyed the fox dance and Jingisukan tambourine performance. Escon Field, as rumored, was a stadium full of innovative features and hospitality. I hope I can come back during the season next year. If I get the chance, I would love to go back to Escon with Shinjo's manager uniform!

I went on a trip to Hokkaido and enjoyed some fresh beer at Escon Field Hokkaido! There are various food and drink stalls set up. I visited two ramen shops and now I'm watching the game with beer, highball, and lemon sour. It's a Friday night game on a weekday, but there are quite a few customers here! It's the Nippon-Ham Fighters against the Orix Buffaloes!

I visited "ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO" located in the newly opened Hokkaido Ballpark F Village in the 2023 season. It was a Friday evening on a game day, and I arrived around 5 pm before the game started. I was able to purchase a Sapporo Classic draft beer smoothly around 7 pm during the game. The taste was excellent, and enjoying a draft beer while watching baseball was the best! I plan to visit again when I have the chance to go to Sapporo!

First time watching baseball at Escon Field HOKKAIDO! Every food stall had incredibly long lines (*´艸｀) I was looking forward to trying various foods, but it was impossible ( ;∀;) I ended up buying a drink from a vendor. Inside the stadium is completely cashless. Payments are made using transportation IC cards, QR codes, credit cards, etc. Even the drinks from the vendors could not be purchased with cash.

It's 4:30 pm on August 5, 2023. I'm at Esucon. Oh, hello, it's Kamen! I spotted Mr. Tetsuichi at the store area that is operating for a limited time at Esucon Field. They also have outlets at Tokyo Dome and Jingu. I found out they are also at stadiums in Sendai and Hakata. I tried the yakisoba and fried takoyaki. Well, it was just delicious. During my visit in August 2023, I enjoyed 3 Sapporo Classic 700ml draft beers and 2 Asahi Super Dry 700ml draft beers. I was able to get them at half price by using VISA touch payment. It was Beer Half Price Day, but only for VISA touch payments. Luckily, my friend had a VISA card, so we could enjoy delicious beer at a discounted price. The Beer Half Price Day was also held during a Rakuten game in July, but only on weekdays and until the end of the 6th inning. This time, it was a two-day event, with today being a Saturday. The promotion was limited to 10,000 cups, and the sales staff estimated that it might be sold out by the 5th inning. The sales staff, wearing the top seller armband for Sapporo Classic, was very skilled at selling and I ended up buying two cups from her. It was indeed a challenging job, as she mentioned. After enjoying a Highball, I left the stadium in the 7th inning as I had to move to Asahikawa. I hope I can come back to the stadium again during the season. The beer at the stadium is truly delicious!

The atmosphere is awesome more than the food! It's my first time at Escon Field, and it feels like a theme park. If the team is strong, I believe the fans will definitely increase! I will continue to support, so keep up the good work!

Visited in July 2023 and had a 750ml draft beer at 3.10. Paid using Sapporo Classic PayPay. Attended the semifinal of the 2022 Hokkaido High School Baseball Tournament between Shibetsu Shoun 2 and Asahikawa Meisei Shirakaba Gakuen 5 (extended to 10 innings, with Shirakaba Gakuen winning 7-9). It was a nice game at Clark International! I originally planned to come in August and had already bought tickets before my transfer, but when I heard that the semifinals and onwards of the high school baseball tournament were going to be held here, I knew I had to go. I had a night shift the day before, but it ended earlier than expected, so I tried to take a 3-hour nap before going, but I was too excited to sleep. I thought, "I'd rather watch today's semifinals than tomorrow's final game." It was an exciting first day! I got ready, prepared for some dozing off, and headed to Escon Field. It's only a 5-minute shuttle bus ride from Kitahiroshima Station. I could see its distinctive exterior from afar! I bought a ticket, lined up, and finally entered. It didn't feel very spacious, and the stands were close to the field! You can't bring in food and drinks, but they don't check your bags thoroughly, so you can practically bring them in. However, make sure to buy the delicious Hokkaido draft beer from the vendors! The infield seats are spacious and comfortable. The cushioning is nice. The space between the seats in front of you is wide enough for people to pass through sideways without any issues. In the first half of the inning, a Sapporo Classic vendor came by, so I bought a beer. Escon Field is completely cashless. When I asked what payment methods are accepted, the cheerful response was, "Anything!" The beer after a night shift was delicious! I wasn't feeling sleepy at all!

Sometimes, I open the roof and enjoy a beer. It's especially nice in those moments! The vendors mainly offer Asahi, Kirin, and Sapporo, but they also have lemon sours, highballs, and soft drinks. Personally, I wish they also sold ice cream! I usually stick to Classic or Sora to Shiba (though the vendors for that have been scarce lately), so I don't get many chances to buy, but I manage to enjoy it when I can!

In April 2023, at Open Escon Field, there is a store called "tower eleven foodhall by Nipponham" by Japan Ham. It has a big vision where you can enjoy a hot dog with a beer. The area is great because you can have fun even without baseball tickets. Premium beer is the best!

It feels like being in a large terrace restaurant rather than just watching baseball. The Basic Tour guided by the Kitsune Girls is enjoyable, and it was a pleasant surprise to find takoyaki stalls. I hope they also include Ibasyo's hitsumabushi, which is loved by true Nagoya locals. The atmosphere is very pleasant. However, it can be quite inconvenient without a car. Since I have a car, I wonder if I can't drink alcohol. The seats are spacious and comfortable. I wonder if the roof is usually open. Reading while sunbathing might be nice. The curry bread is delicious, with options for baked and fried, and the fried one is recommended and tasty!

I don't remember the name of the restaurant, but it had a big screen inside. I ordered fried chicken and beer. The beer was "Sapporo Classic," which is rare to find in Kansai. It was incredibly delicious. The beer was poured with care, creating a fine and smooth foam that made it very easy to drink. Because of this, I ended up getting a second glass. The cost performance wasn't great since it was inside the stadium, but enjoying a drink while feeling the atmosphere of Escón Field was truly amazing!

I hurried from Abashiri Town to Kitahiroshima City. My destination was the interleague game between the Nippon-Ham Fighters and the Hanshin Tigers at Escon for the second time. This time, I watched the game from almost behind the net on the main level. Since there was a different driver, I bought a beer from the vendor shortly after arriving. It was a classic beer. When I asked the vendor, she said she usually sells Asahi Super Dry, but today it's classic beer because it's a Hanshin game? The stadium was filled with yellow due to the Hanshin fans. There were also many fans from outside the area, so maybe the classic beer will sell well during the three-game series starting today, or even from the Hiroshima game before? I'm not sure. Escon is known for being expensive, but compared to other teams, the beer here is cheaper in terms of quantity and price. It was 750 yen. Plus, the classic beer is delicious. I think I'll buy a hot dog as my second drink companion! 😂

Table seating for 4 people at 10,000 yen per person. The set includes appetizers and up to 2 drinks per person. You can order additional items from the menu by calling the waiter at your table and settle the bill when leaving. The staff is attentive and provides good service. The amount of appetizers may be a bit small, so we ended up ordering more items from the menu outside the restaurant. The view may not be ideal for baseball fans as the front acrylic panel makes it difficult to see. Overall, it may be a good choice for business entertainment.

Escon Field, which opened in 2023, is truly a fantastic stadium. It looks great, the seats are comfortable, and there are attractive food and drink options. The staff's hospitality is top-notch. Enjoying a Sapporo Classic in this cozy stadium was a great experience. I bought it from a vendor from Yokohama, and the fine bubbles were delicious. Compared to the $9 beer at Tokyo Dome, it felt very affordable.

Draft beer for 750 yen, oh my goodness! Why is it so good? I knew that beer tasted better at the stadium, but the Sapporo Premium at Escon Field is on a whole other level of deliciousness (*^^*). The fact that my favorite team ended their losing streak on this day only added to the enjoyment (lol). I avoided the long lines at the food corner and stuck to just enjoying some Hokkaido seafood senbei as a snack, preparing for the victory celebration after the game (^^)v. The atmosphere here is just amazing!! I will definitely come back again (￣ー￣)ｂｸﾞｯ!

Even on days without games, you can visit the stadium so we stopped by on our way home. Surprisingly, even on a Monday, there were quite a few spectators, and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the field. I thought it would be great to enjoy watching the game with a beer in hand. When I tried to have a late lunch, the one-plate lunch was already over at 2 p.m., so I had a hot dog at the next door and soaked in the atmosphere. I bought Fighters potato chips and soup curry at the goods store. Next time, I'll come to watch a game!

Both my parents were thrilled to visit Escon for the first time. It was extremely crowded and hot due to Children's Day during Golden Week. Despite the heat, the first half of the game was scoreless until the 5th inning. My dad kept going to the smoking area, my mom kept yawning, and my brother and I kept drinking. In the 8th inning, the Fighters scored 4 runs to take the lead and win the game, exciting the crowd. This boosted my parents' excitement as well. It was pouring rain when we left, but my sister came to pick us up, which was a relief. There was a family of three in front of me - a father, mother, and their elementary school-aged son. They were all constantly on Instagram, and I could see everything they were doing. ❤️

New Shoji Bento is packed with meat. It is a masterpiece filled with the pride of Nippon Ham. Even in a super high-tech stadium, gourmet food takes priority over baseball.
