Today I went to Tokuan. They have a limited 10 servings of tsukemen every day, so I ordered the "daily special tsukemen." Today's tsukemen was curry tsukemen. It had a rich curry soup and thick noodles that resembled soba. Topped with chashu, egg, and menma, it was a classic combination. They also mentioned that the dipping sauce can be reheated if needed. I was thinking of diving into a bowl of rice to finish, but the thick noodles quickly soaked up all the soup. It would have been delicious with rice, but the noodles were too good to resist. The restaurant is located near the entrance of the Tokuan shopping street, if you head towards Houshu Station. It's a bit hidden in a residential area, so keep an eye out when walking along the train tracks. I wonder what kind of tsukemen I'll try next time. Looking forward to it. Thank you for the meal.

I came to Tokuan for work and explored on Gurunavi! I tried the Nokon Shoyu Ramen, which had a soup mixed with a strong soy sauce flavor. It came with a half boiled egg and cost 780 yen, with an extra charge of 100 yen for a large portion. It's a good value for the price. The restaurant is run by two men, and I felt a bit of roughness in the way they present the place. There is room for improvement. Keep up the good work!

Soy sauce ramen with a rich flavor priced at 780 yen. Visited on a weekday after 1 pm with about 4 customers already inside, no wait. The soup is a solid soy sauce base, not too spicy but perfectly seasoned. The medium-thick flat noodles complement the soup well. Comes with a boiled egg, which is a great deal for 780 yen. It was a hit for me trying soy sauce ramen after a long time.

Yes, it's ramen time at "Menya BrotheR"! I ordered the popular "Rich Blended Soy Sauce Ramen" for 780 yen. The soup was surprisingly light and not too salty, with a smooth texture that paired well with the medium-thick straight noodles. The toppings included tender pork chashu, a flavorful seasoned egg, and chopped green onions. The colorful individually wrapped toothpicks on the table were a nice touch. Overall, the ramen was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

"Rich ramen" for 780 yen, "rice set" for 100 yen. [Soup] Thick, murky soup with a thick texture, no fishy smell, pork bone soy sauce base, somewhat reminiscent of Wakayama ramen, just the right balance without being too heavy, very delicious. [Noodles] Thick, flat noodles with a slight wave, good firmness and a slightly chewy texture, delicious. [Toppings] Very tender and juicy chashu, half-boiled seasoned egg, plenty of green onions. I had a good memory of visiting once before and it was delicious, so I decided to visit again. The interior of the shop is refreshing and clean, and I was happy to see neatly folded wet towels with a nice scent. The ramen is just my type, with a soup that goes well with rice, noodles, and soup all being to my liking. Plus, the chashu is incredibly delicious! I think it would be heavenly to add it to rice in a bowl. The service was also excellent, and I want to try other menu items, so I will come back soon. Thank you for the meal.

I tried the Thick Blended Soy Sauce Ramen for 780 yen and the Tsukemen for 880 yen, which were limited to 10 servings. The Thick Blended Soy Sauce Ramen is completely black in color, but it doesn't have a sharp soy sauce taste, instead it is smooth and light. The noodles are well coated with the soup, creating a nice combination. The Tsukemen reminded me of a spicy hot pot with a seafood pork bone broth. The whole wheat noodles go well with it. Both the ramen and the tsukemen had a slightly smaller portion of noodles, felt like they were about 80% full after eating two servings.

I had a day off from work, so I stopped by the restaurant. There were empty tables for 4 people and 2 people. I placed my order and soon after, the place got really busy with customers coming in. It was almost full inside and there was even a line outside, but I just made it in time. Today's tsukemen was spicy miso flavor. It was my first time trying it and it was delicious! The dipping broth was very hot, but once I cooled it down a bit, it was really tasty. Thank you!

Around 18:30, with about 10% of the customers, I sat at a table near the entrance and ordered the famous thick soy sauce ramen. The food was served in about 4 minutes. The soup was indeed on the thicker side, but I wouldn't say it was extremely thick. Still, it was delicious. The noodles were straight and the green onions were tasty. The chashu and boiled egg were average. The origami on the toothpick was interesting. I paid 780 yen with my phone and left.

Last night, despite the freezing cold, I went night fishing. In the morning, I was lazing around eating leftover Setsubun sushi rolls that my wife made, while she was preparing the fish we caught last night. I was too scared to ask about lunch, so I casually suggested going out to eat something. She said ramen would be fine, probably because she had been touching cold water. She even mentioned making curry udon. I love curry udon, but felt a bit hesitant (laughs). So, I suggested finding a devilishly good meal within walking distance. However, we had already explored the area around Kintetsu Fuse Station, where the top-tier devilish meals were still waiting, but it would require a round trip of about 6 kilometers. I thought of a restaurant a bit closer and decided on it. I made up my mind! It was about a 5-kilometer round trip walk. The deal with the devil may seem contradictory, but offering calories as payment is necessary to avoid losing lifespan. Of course, we would also pay money once we got there (laughs). I ordered the limited Stamina Ramen with chicken tempura set. My wife ordered the lightest ramen on the menu. The chicken tempura set was only 250 yen and it was delicious and felt like a good deal. The Stamina Ramen was like a mix of Tenri Ramen and Taiwan Ramen, with a bit of spiciness, garlic flavor, and visible minced meat and cabbage. It had less spiciness than Taiwan Ramen, and I personally wished it had a bit less garlic, but the flavor was not too sharp, making it tasty. I also tried the soup from my wife's dish, which had a hint of vegetable sweetness mixed in. I thought they must have made the broth skillfully. The staff, including the smiling young man and the cheerful lady, made my wife very happy. Thank you very much.

The navy blue soy sauce ramen is exquisite, not too strong but with a robust soy sauce flavor. The noodles are flat and have a good firmness. The service is good, with a slight scent on the wet towel and thoughtful attention to detail. It's a restaurant where you can feel the dedication to the dishes they serve.

I came to a ramen restaurant in front of Tokuan Station. The limited 10 servings of tsukemen that I was looking for was sold out (tears). I ordered the most popular thick soy sauce ramen. First of all, the color is amazing!! It's too black (bitter smile). The taste is surprisingly refreshing. The flat noodles go really well with it. The chashu has a strong smell of meat. The ramen goes really well with the green onions. It was a delicious meal.

Menya BrotheR [1-cho, Inadakamicho, Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture] Just a short walk from JR Tokuan Station in Higashi-Osaka City, right next to a coin parking lot. Their Shirodashi Shoyu Ramen is priced at 780 yen, Nitamago (flavored boiled egg) at 100 yen, and a mentaiko rice set at 250 yen. The flavorful and fragrant soup is worth the trip, with smooth flat curly noodles and satisfying chashu. I added an extra egg, so it was 1.5 eggs in total. [Business Hours] 11:00-14:00, 18:00-23:30 [Closed] Tuesdays [Parking] None, but there is a coin parking lot next door where you can pay afterwards. They accept PayPay for payment. They have a variety of set menus, a clean and welcoming interior, and being conveniently located near the station and parking lot, it's easy to visit even if you're dining alone.

Today, I visited this restaurant in Tokuan. The shop has been open for 7 years in a location that is not very convenient, but it has maintained a rating of 3.6 or higher for a long time. It is a solid restaurant. I walked through the shopping street in the rain to get to the shop. The arcade of this shopping street is old and has holes here and there, giving it a charming atmosphere. I entered the shop 10 minutes after it opened, and the staff greeted me with refreshing voices. This is really important. Thanks to them, my gloomy mood due to the rain disappeared. The menu has a variety of options, but today, I decided to go with the standard choices. I ordered the Thick Soy Sauce Ramen for 730 yen and the Spicy Cod Roe Rice Set for around 250 yen. The food was served promptly. The first impression was not very impactful, but the noodles reminded me of Onomichi Ramen with their flat, medium-thin straight shape. I really like this type of noodles. The texture of the noodles was just as I expected, with the Onomichi charm. Every time I eat these noodles, I am reminded of the now-closed famous Onomichi Ramen shop "Menkui" in Shinsaibashi. The soup was a perfect blend of chicken and pork bone with a good balance of sweetness and soy sauce flavor. The portion of noodles and soup was ideal, and I enjoyed slurping them up. I finished my meal in no time while enjoying the Spicy Cod Roe Rice. It was indeed a restaurant with solid skills. Despite new restaurants popping up rapidly, visiting places like this gives a sense of stability. This is truly a case of "finding shelter from the rain." Or something like that? (laughs)

The tsukemen here is said to sell 10 servings a day. Today's flavor is seafood pork bone. The whole wheat noodles are heavily seasoned with black pepper. The thick, flat noodles mix well with the dipping sauce. Just be careful, as the sauce is very hot and can cause burns! Overall, it's a standard seafood pork bone flavor, neither great nor terrible. The recommended dishes here are the white soy sauce and black soy sauce ramen, so I'd like to try those next time.

I wonder if the noodle shop in front of JR Gakken Toku-an Station on the Tokyu Line is related to BrotheR Takaida. The soy sauce is dark and slightly sweet, with thick and firm green onions. The soy sauce flavor is dominant, and the taste of the soup doesn't come through much. I had high expectations based on the Tabelog score, but it might have been a disappointment. It's quite a hassle to drive there because of the narrow roads, so taking the train is recommended. Tabelog score at the time of posting: 3.60⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I found this ramen shop on my way back from an outing by car. It was lunchtime, but I was able to get in right away, which was nice. Although I was tempted by the limited 10 servings of curry noodles, I decided to go with their recommended thick soy sauce ramen with extra meat. The ramen that came out had a black soup similar to Toyama Black Ramen, but the flavor wasn't too strong and it paired well with the noodles. The noodles were slightly thin curly noodles. The thickness of the chashu was just right, not too thin or too thick, which I personally liked. Thank you for the meal.

Oh my, I was planning to have some yakitori donburi as usual, but it turns out the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. Let's have ramen here for a change. It's 12:40, so I wonder if there will be a line? Lucky me! I got a seat at the counter right away. I chose the tsukemen for around 830 yen. The noodles are thick whole wheat noodles, I think. The soup is rich and coats the noodles nicely. Oh, there are white leeks in it, giving a nice texture. I'll soak the chashu in the soup and enjoy the refreshing taste. Lastly, I tried the soup-wari, oh it's quite strong. But since they made it for me, this must be the restaurant's flavor. Thank you for the meal, I enjoyed it!

Today, I visited a ramen shop located near "JR Gakken Toshi Line Tokuan Station" that has been open for about 6 years. I found the shop on a corner near the "Tokuan Shopping Street" and the railway tracks. The casual atmosphere inside the shop has a kitchen at the back, 3 high counter seats on the right side, and 4 tables for 2-4 people in the front. The shop was recently renovated and looks very clean. It is run by two men in their 30s. The menu includes "rich soy sauce ramen, white soy sauce ramen, rich ramen, stamina ramen (limited to 15 servings per day), tsukemen (limited to 10 servings per day), mixed noodles", and various toppings and rice dishes. I ordered the signature dish, "rich soy sauce ramen", and it arrived shortly after. The soup was a rich soy sauce color, with a blend of sharp and flavorful soy sauce and clear animal-based umami, with a hint of sweetness in the refreshing aftertaste. The noodles were smooth and flat, with a good chewy texture and a pleasant throat feel. The toppings included two chewy and flavorful chashu, a half of a soft-boiled egg with a runny yolk, crunchy bamboo shoots, and refreshing green onions. I finished the meal quickly, and even after drinking up the soup, it felt light and refined with a good balance of richness. The cost performance was quite good with half a soft-boiled egg included at this price. The young but attentive service was excellent. Overall, I had a satisfying meal and would like to try other items on the menu in the future. The shop has a ramp for wheelchair access, a washlet in the center on the right side, and no parking available.

I had some business in Higashi Osaka and was looking for a lunch spot, and ended up here. I didn't remember coming here before, but once I arrived, it all came back to me - you have to enter through a really narrow road, so it's a bit inconvenient for cars, but the ramen was delicious from what I recall. And indeed, it was quite tasty! The shoyu ramen had a high-ida style, while the rich ramen was reminiscent of Tenichi's chicken broth. The noodles were flat and firm. Overall, I had a good impression. The only downside is the narrow road, but the ramen was delicious. Thank you for the meal☆
