I visited the restaurant around 11:30 AM and purchased a ticket for the recommended "Special Salt Ramen" (1,100 yen) from the ticket machine. The bowl was topped with chashu pork, bamboo shoots, seasoned egg, green onions, and chopped white onions. When I tried the soup, I could taste a rich and flavorful combination of animal and seafood broth, with a thick and oily texture. The soup was made from chicken, pork, shrimp, bonito flakes, scallops, kelp, and other ingredients, and the salt seasoning was just right, enhancing the natural flavors of the ingredients. The noodles were firm and thin straight noodles, with a rich wheat flavor and a good texture that paired well with the soup. The chashu pork was thickly sliced pork shoulder, seasoned to bring out the meat's umami flavor and balanced well with the soup. The seasoned egg had a gooey yolk and a strong flavor, delicious both on its own and when dipped in the soup. This was one of the best salt ramen I've ever had, and it made me want to try other items on the menu at this charming restaurant.

"Boiled dried fish and soy sauce ramen" 900 yen 【Soup】The soup has a strong dried fish flavor without any unpleasant smell. It is hot and delicious with the umami of dried fish and soy sauce. 【Noodles】The medium-thin straight noodles look firm and go well with the soup. 【Toppings】The rare chashu pork, lightly seasoned menma bamboo shoots, and two types of green onions provide a satisfying meal. I had been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally did. There are only 6 counter seats in a bright and clean interior. The fluorescent lights are quite bright, so changing them to warm or neutral white might enhance the atmosphere. The ramen looked delicious as soon as it was served, and indeed it was. The soup, rich in dried fish flavor with a hint of sweetness, combined perfectly with the firm noodles. I would definitely visit regularly if this place was nearby. Thank you for the meal.

The 5-day weekend is finally coming to an end. On the last day, I stayed mostly at home, but I started craving ramen so I decided to go out despite the rain. I took the Kintetsu line and transferred to the Tsutenkaku station, near which I visited Ramen Yui. The location is a little east of Route 24, which runs south of Tsutenkaku station. It's where Ramen Marukko used to be, before it moved to Yokotei. It was easy to find the shop by just walking straight ahead. When I looked at the ticket machine, it seemed like the 4 "special" menu items were recommended. I thought adding an extra 200 yen for a seasoned egg and two slices of rare chashu was a good deal, so this time I ordered the special seasoned anchovy soy sauce ramen. The dish arrived piping hot, with 4 slices of rare chashu, a seasoned egg, menma, white and green onions as toppings. The noodles were medium-thin and plentiful, with lots of toppings, making it very satisfying to eat. The soup had a dark soy sauce color, but surprisingly had a light taste with little acidity and a distinct anchovy flavor. Overall, it was a well-balanced ramen and very delicious. Since the price difference wasn't that big, I thought it was worth trying the "special" menu items. They also offer salt ramen, mixed noodles, and curry mixed noodles, so I would like to go back and try them sometime.

I went to have lunch and tried the special salt ramen. First, the soup arrived. It had a strong seafood flavor which I enjoyed because I like seafood. The taste was deep and satisfying. The noodles were thin and firm, and I couldn't stop slurping them. The ramen came with four slices of chashu, two in the soup and two peeking out of the bowl. The way they were served was great. The egg was perfectly cooked, and the menma added a nice texture. Overall, it was a delicious salt ramen that I would recommend to those who like a light and tasty dish.

Ramen Yui in Shuntokumichi. Second visit. I ordered the Special Niboshi Shoyu Ramen for 1,100 yen from the ticket machine, just like last time. I sat at the counter with no other customers and my bowl arrived. It had 4 slices of rare chashu, menma, seasoned egg, green onions, and white onions as toppings. The noodles were my favorite thin straight type, with a wheat-like flavor that many top ramen shops have. They paired well with the clear broth seasoned with dried sardines. I quickly finished the extra noodles and soup. It was delicious ramen experience.

Mazesoba (Oil + Soy Sauce 900 yen) ★★★★ The noodles are thick, straight noodles with a flat shape. The toppings include pork shoulder chashu, green onions, white onions, and menma. The special sauce is a mixture of soy sauce and bonito oil with a small amount of chicken, pork, and seafood broth, creating a rich and flavorful taste that goes well with the flat noodles. The noodles are made by Tsurumi Seimenjo and have a chewy texture that is satisfying to eat. The small, rectangular pieces of chashu are plentiful and have a moist and tender texture that allows you to fully enjoy the savory taste of the meat. You can also enjoy different flavors by adding black pepper, ichimi, or yuzu pepper provided on the side. A ramen shop located next to a park about a 5-minute walk from Shuntokumichi Station. The shop has just opened, so the interior is very clean and has a sense of cleanliness. The ramen made by the shop owner from Kosumosu is delicious, with a broth that allows you to taste the umami of seafood. The chashu has just the right amount of rareness and is very delicious. There are also nearby shops like Menya Fukuhara, so it's great to have different types of delicious ramen shops around. Next time, I think I'll try the curry mixed ramen. Thank you for the meal!

"I finally visited this place that I had been curious about for a while. I parked my car at a nearby coin parking lot and arrived around 12 o'clock. This place used to be the former location of Marukko, which has now moved to Fukumimi. This time, I couldn't decide between salt ramen or shoyu ramen, so I chose the shoyu ramen. The owner used to work at Ramen Kasumi Awaza Honten. The ramen was served soon after. It came with two slices of thick chashu, menma, white and green onions. The soup had a dark soy sauce color with silver powder from dried sardines floating on top. The aroma of dried sardines was strong, raising my expectations. Let's dig in! First, the soup... It had the expected dried sardine flavor. It combined dried sardines, bonito flakes, kelp, with chicken and pork. The umami and aroma of dried sardines spread nicely, followed by the soy sauce flavor. There was a subtle sweetness from the soy sauce, adding richness to the tasty soup. This amount of dried sardines was just right for me. There was no bitterness or off-flavors, just pure umami. The noodles were medium-thin, firm and had a good bite, complementing the soup well. This type of noodles goes well with a dried sardine-based soup. The chashu was slightly rare, with a strong meaty flavor. It reflected the training background of the chef. The white and green onions were fresh and added a nice texture. Fresh onions are quite important, as they can greatly impact the overall deliciousness of the ramen. The chashu bowl, priced at 400 yen, felt a bit expensive. It had a generous amount of diced chashu, and the sweet sauce paired perfectly with the meat. I would like to try the salt ramen next time. Thank you for the meal!"

"I visited 'Ramen Yui' on Shuntoku Street and tried their 'Curry Maze Soba' for 900 yen. The sauce is a curry sauce made by combining chicken and pork broth with dried bonito and curry spices, giving it a slightly thick consistency. The umami of the dried bonito broth and the spice flavor blend well, creating a rich and balanced taste. The noodles are thick straight noodles from 'Tsurumi Seimenjo', with a chewy texture that allows the sauce and ingredients to cling to them. The chashu is small in size, moist, and well-seasoned, allowing you to enjoy the meat's flavor. The toppings also include menma and green onions. You can enhance the flavor by adding black pepper or shichimi pepper from the condiments on the table."

I arrived at the restaurant about 20 minutes after it opened. There were empty seats available when we arrived, but there was a short wait by the time we left. I ordered the special salt ramen. The noodles were white! The soup was delicious! It was clear but had a strong flavor. Even though it was salt ramen, it was a bit rich, which was impressive! The thin noodles were very satisfying. I chose the special salt ramen, so there was plenty of pork slices. The pork had a strong meaty flavor.

I lived on Shuntoku Street during my student days, and a new shop opened there. The area had changed quite a bit. I was the first customer since it had just opened. I bought the Special Niboshi Shoyu Ramen for 1,100 yen plus an extra serving of noodles for 150 yen from the ticket machine and sat at the counter. After a while, my ramen arrived. It had rare chashu, menma, seasoned egg, green onions, and white onions as toppings. The noodles were my favorite straight ultra-thin noodles. The soup had a flavor I liked with a strong niboshi taste. The chashu should be eaten quickly while it's hot! The ultra-thin straight noodles mixed well with the soup and were very delicious. I ordered an extra serving of noodles. They came with a little sauce on them. I added them to the soup. I finished everything without letting the soup get cold. It was a delicious meal.

Yes, it's ramen time! "Special Salt Ramen 1,100 yen" Today, I visited "Ramen Yui" located in Shuntoku Michi. The owner of the shop is from "Ramen Kosumi", so I thought the mixed noodles were the best menu, but I found out that the recommended dish is "Salt Ramen"! I had the mixed noodles last time and they were delicious, so I had to go again! This time, I visited for the second time. The sign at the entrance also said "Salt Ramen"! They must have a lot of confidence in it! I ordered the "Special Salt Ramen" at the ticket machine and took a seat at the counter. After a while, the ramen arrived. [Visual] The chashu pork has a strong presence! The appearance is not flashy, but it looks very delicious. [Soup] First, let's try the soup... Mmm!! "Ramen Yui" Special Salt Ramen 1100 yen Located about a 5-minute walk from Shuntokumichi Station on the JR and Kintetsu lines, "Ramen Yui" is a newly opened ramen shop in the beloved Kasumi group, which opened in June this year. The cute signboard outside is the landmark of this place. The interior of the shop is also bright and clean, with white as the main color. With only 6 seats at the counter, the shop feels spacious and relaxed, making it a comfortable place for even a solo female diner. On my first visit, following the rule of the top-left menu, I ordered the "Special Salt Ramen" from the ticket machine. The sparkling soup, beautiful presentation, and topping of rare chashu slices and half-boiled seasoned egg caught my eye. The first sip of the soup was light and flavorful, with a balance of seafood and animal-based umami that made me involuntarily exclaim, "Delicious!" The fish flavor was distinct at first, but the gentle saltiness made it elegant and refined. I later learned that they use high-quality salt called "Nuchimasu." The thick slices of rare chashu were rich in flavor, cooked slowly at a low temperature to enhance the taste. The seasoned egg was perfectly runny, with a creamy yolk that complemented the soup well. The straight noodles had a firm bite at the beginning, transitioning to a smooth slurp towards the end. The generous portion of noodles provided a satisfying meal. The owner, who was running the shop alone during my visit, was attentive and made me feel comfortable. I look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you for the delicious meal! 🍜🎶 #KimonoRamenGirl #kimono #KimonoGirl #KimonoRamenGirl #Shuntokudo #SaltRamen #RamenYui #Kasumi #OsakaRamen #FoodieGirl #RamenGirl

2022-285th Bowl (7th in November) ◎ Shio Ramen @ Ramen Musubu Address: 1F, 2-24-20 Nagiwa, Higashi Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture Nearest Station: Shuntokumichi Station - 5 minutes walk Closed on Wednesdays TP: 3.50 (27 reviews) Osaka, Higashi Osaka City, 527-26 Visited for the first time on a weekday evening in November. The owner of this place used to be the manager at Torisoba Morizou, a branch of the popular Kousumi ramen chain, before opening this shop in June this year. Arrived at 19:10 with one customer already inside. The place seemed familiar, and then I realized it used to be Marukko's shop. The transformation from the rich tonkotsu atmosphere to this clean and refreshing space is truly impressive. Ordered the Shio Ramen for 900 yen. The broth had a depth of flavor from a variety of ingredients such as chicken, pork, dried fish, clam extract, Rausu kelp, shrimp, and vegetables. The broth had a rich umami taste with a hint of heat, and it was deliciously hot. The noodles were straight and thin, with a cross-section of about 1x1.5mm. They had a satisfying chewiness and a fragrant wheat flavor that complemented the broth well. The toppings were simple with chashu, menma, green onions, and white onions. The chashu was made from pork loin cooked at low temperature, and it was seasoned with a fruity flavor that reminded me of Junk Story from Kousumi. The piping hot temperature lasted until the end, reminiscent of the previous lineage and the "kinsei-ism." Personally, I think the broth could have been even better if the temperature was slightly lower to bring out the flavor changes more distinctly.

I revisited this place because I used to enjoy their dried soy sauce ramen. This time, I ordered the salt ramen. The broth was complex with a solid depth of flavor, and it was very delicious. Lately, I've been having a lot of chicken broth-based ramen, so I appreciated the uniqueness of this one. The bonito flavor was distinct but not overpowering, striking a good balance with the seafood elements. The saltiness was not too mild, adding a nice kick to the broth. The chashu also tasted better than before. However, I found the two types of green onions as toppings lacking in aroma, which was a bit disappointing. I wondered if the white onions were left too long or if they were not finely chopped enough to release their flavor.

Opened on June 11, 2022 near Shuntokudo Station, "Ramen Musubu" is a new restaurant where the owner trained at the renowned Osaka-West district shop "Ramen Kosumi" and its brand store "Torisoba Morizou". The taste of the ramen at this new restaurant is highly acclaimed, with a soup that shines in a golden color, combining chicken, pork, vegetables, Rausu kelp, scallops, and shrimp to create a rich flavor. The minimalistic interior of the restaurant, with a counter seating for six bathed in natural light, ensures proper social distancing and hygiene measures are in place, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere for diners. Customers purchase food tickets from a vending machine and serve themselves water. The special Shio Ramen features a smooth, low-viscosity soup with a delicate balance of chicken broth and seafood umami, paired with thin straight noodles that have a great texture and hold the soup well. The ramen is topped with a perfectly cooked flavored egg and pork shoulder that is tender and flavorful. The special Maze Soba has a soy sauce-based sauce with layers of natural ingredients and a strong bonito flavor, served with thick straight noodles that are chewy and bouncy. The toppings include tender pork shoulder chashu and two types of chashu, along with flavored egg, bamboo shoots, green onions, and scallions. The owner, who operates the restaurant alone, provides attentive and gentlemanly hospitality, making diners feel comfortable and welcome. Despite its local feel near Shuntokudo Station, the restaurant is within walking distance, making it easily accessible even in rainy weather. Overall, the satisfying taste and ambiance of Ramen Musubu make it a ramen worth traveling for.

This was a restaurant that had high ratings on Tabelog and I was curious about. It is about a 5-minute walk from Kintetsu Shuntokumichi Station or JR Shuntokumichi Station. It seems like there is no parking lot, but there is a bicycle parking lot. The seating is only at the counter for up to 5 people. You purchase your meal with a food ticket. When I arrived around 12:30, there were already 4 people seated and one seat was available. Lucky! This time, I chose the recommended special salt ramen. It cost 1100 yen, which seemed a bit high, but it came with toppings so it was okay. After waiting about 10 minutes, it was ready. It looked beautiful. The soup was delicious, with a rich seafood broth. It was light yet had a good depth of flavor. The noodles were thin, which I like. The chashu (roast pork) came in two types, thinly sliced and easy to eat. It was a bit rare and tasted like roast beef. The soft-boiled egg was creamy and tasty. There were two types of green onions, both crunchy and not too strong in flavor, which complemented the ramen well. They also had soy sauce-based ramen and mazesoba (mixed noodles) which I am curious about. I might go back again soon.

A short walk east from Shuntokumichi Station along the thick National Route 24, you'll find a cozy restaurant with a simple and spacious interior. Purchase your meal ticket from the machine, wait a bit, and then enjoy your bowl of ramen. The clear broth is a blend of seafood and chicken-pork flavors with a gentle saltiness, making it easy to drink. Some may find the initial seafood taste followed by the animal-based flavors to be a matter of personal preference. The thin straight noodles have a nice firmness, and the thinly sliced pork shoulder has a good texture with a light amount of fat, allowing you to savor the subtle meaty flavor. The hot and light broth offers a balance of seafood and animal-based umami flavors. Thank you for the meal.

Ramen Musubu in Higashi Osaka City, Osaka offers a salt ramen for 900 yen. The soup combines various seafood with chicken and pork bones, creating a rich and flavorful broth. It has a slightly strong salty taste but also a sharpness that adds to the experience. The noodles are flat, low-water content, thin straight noodles that are firm and tasty on their own, but may not be the best match for the bold soup. Toppings include green onions, bamboo shoots, and chashu pork. The green onions offer a mix of green and white parts, while the chashu pork is flavorful. This restaurant does not accept cashless payments.

Today (9/8), I went on an expedition to the Kintetsu Osaka Line and visited this restaurant that opened about 3 months ago, located a short walk from Shuntokumichi Station. I entered and purchased a ticket for "Boiled Anchovy Soy Sauce Ramen (900 yen)" at the ticket machine, then sat at the back of the counter seats. The bowl arrived quickly. The soup was a very dark soy sauce color, with straight thin noodles peeking out, topped with two square slices of chashu, thick menma, chopped white and green onions. When I tried the soup with a spoon, it was as rich in flavor as it looked, with a well-balanced depth of chicken and seafood. The noodles were chewy and springy, just as I had hoped for, very tasty! The slightly dry onions were a bit disappointing, but overall, it was a very satisfying dish. It was definitely worth coming all the way to Shuntokumichi on the Kintetsu Osaka Line.
