I casually took one and saw an advertisement for shaved ice. Since it was a very hot day, I decided to ask the gentleman for the shop’s location and made an impromptu visit. It turned out to be a great find! When I entered the shop, I was greeted by two young female staff members, both with lovely smiles who kindly explained the menu. I ordered the "Amaou Rare Cheese" for ¥1980 with a condensed milk topping. The interior was surprisingly spacious, but it seemed the table seats were fully reserved. I was astonished to see that a shaved ice shop had reserved seating! When my shaved ice was served, I was blown away by its extravagance. It was a large serving topped with Amaou syrup, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries, generously drizzled with condensed milk. There was a lot of it, and I thought I might struggle to get the flavors to the bottom without losing taste. However, when I dug in with my spoon, I discovered many layers of ingredients and syrup inside. No matter where I started, the sweetness was consistent. Later, I learned from a notice board that the layers inside included cream cheese, strawberries, tea-flavored rare cheese, and more strawberry sauce, all in a multi-layered structure. Honestly, I don’t often visit dessert places, but this was the most luxurious shaved ice I have ever had. It was incredibly delicious. After thanking the staff, I exited the shop and noticed several people waiting outside. The bearded gentleman, who had been handing out tissues, was back again, so I chatted with him briefly before leaving. Even though it was a shop aimed at young women, I truly appreciated the courteous treatment I received. I would definitely like to visit again if given the chance. The shaved ice is quite large, but compared to other places, it’s slightly less sweet, making it easy to enjoy. Recently, they introduced an amazing spice curry! It’s low-carb since it doesn’t use any flour, and you can choose the amount of rice, so it’s great to enjoy both curry and shaved ice at the same time! Plus, during lunch, you can get this high-quality curry for an incredible price of just 500 yen!

The shaved ice shop had relatively high prices compared to others. I ordered the Halloween limited pumpkin shaved ice. The combination of black sesame syrup and pumpkin was excellent. However, the quality of the ice left a bit of an aftertaste in my mouth, making me question if it was worth the price...

They regularly offer around 10 different types of shaved ice, including some uniquely creative options that are exclusively available for Instagram followers. I chose the Thick Milk Tea Nuts (1580 yen). It looked beautiful, with a variety of nuts like almonds and cashews sprinkled on top, providing a wonderful texture and roasted flavor. The tea syrup itself wasn't sweet at all and was quite rich. The cream inside, possibly a type of cream, had a strong salty flavor, while one of the creams paired with caramel was sweet. The combination of sweetness and saltiness created a complex taste experience.

I tried this place for the first time, and it was amazing! I've been to many different places to eat, but the fine ice and the Earl Grey flavor spread throughout my mouth, and there were plenty of nuts in it, making it very delicious. As I continued eating, beautiful layers appeared, and I’m definitely coming back to this shop!

There is no parking available, so I parked at the paid parking lot across the street. It was required to make a reservation, but I arrived just after 12 and was able to get in right away. Since it got fully booked while I was waiting, I recommend making a reservation. As someone who loves strawberries, I was very satisfied with the dish. I poured a generous amount of condensed milk and took a big bite. There were plenty of strawberries inside as well, and I found it very satisfying and delicious.

I ordered fig-flavored and strawberry-flavored, and they were both really delicious! The interior of the shop is super cute and poppy. They’re open year-round, and it seems like they carefully use seasonal ingredients for their shaved ice menu, which I really appreciate. Today, since it was hot, I wanted to eat some shaved ice, so I decided to visit a shop that had caught my attention for a while. It was a bit far, but I had some free time, so I went. I arrived around 3 PM, and there were only two female customers inside. I asked the staff for a recommendation and chose the strawberry shaved ice. It was quite refreshing, the ice was fluffy, and the strawberries on top were delicious. Inside, there were also strawberries, something like agar, and cream, which made me very satisfied.

I visited a restaurant I've been curious about for a while. With September here and the end of the shaved ice season approaching, I decided to go. Unfortunately, the peach flavor was no longer available, so I tried the honey lemon and mango flavors. This is just a matter of personal preference, but I found the lemon in the honey lemon to be quite bitter. Aside from that, it was tasty. The mango, possibly due to using frozen mango, lacked flavor and sweetness, leaving a dull impression. More disappointing was that the almond jelly and aloe were not good. I think the structure of the shaved ice was very well done, so if they carefully select their ingredients, they could become even more popular.

Recently, kakigori (shaved ice) has become incredibly fluffy and visually appealing. Today, I visited "Year-round Kakigori Specialty Store SORA," located on the west side of Nagoya Station. I ordered the "Mitarashi Mascarpone" for 1580 yen. Here it comes, the kakigori! Topped with plenty of sweet soy sauce and mascarpone, it’s a delightful fusion of Western and Japanese sweets. It's surprisingly addictive. As you dig into the fluffy ice, you encounter cookies, black beans, and chewy mochi with red beans, which keeps things interesting. At the end, there's even a mitarashi dumpling. Overall, it's not overly sweet, so you could keep eating it. This is a kakigori experience like no other! The "Amaou Strawberry Milk" for 1980 yen features fresh cream, panna cotta, and milk syrup for flavor variation, making sure you never get bored. It’s wonderful that you can enjoy such kakigori year-round. Thank you for the delicious treat!

I know this post is a bit late, but I went to try this shaved ice at the beginning of July. I didn’t make a reservation, but I went early to get a numbered ticket and waited in line... it took about an hour from meeting up to finally enjoying the shaved ice. Since it's really a dessert-style shaved ice, I think it would be better to go for it early in the morning after having breakfast. That said, the portion is huge, so going with a full stomach wouldn't be a good idea! After much deliberation, I chose the peach flavor, and it was the right choice! I’m looking forward to trying a different fruit next time.

It had a layer of kinako (roasted soybean flour) cream with shiratama (rice dumplings) on top, and even the ice itself was flavored with black sesame. As I continued eating, I discovered black beans, mochi, sweet red bean paste, and whipped cream inside, allowing me to enjoy a variety of textures and flavors in this shaved ice dessert.

It had been a while since I came to Nagoya Station for work-related errands, so I thought I'd treat myself to something cold and decided to stop by here! I've seen many reviews about shaved ice shops, but since I'm not very knowledgeable about them, I looked for a place slightly away from the city that would be easy to park at. With many places now requiring reservations, I was glad to find this shop that is open year-round and doesn't require reservations. It's a pay-in-advance system with one order per person. There were various options, and I decided to try one of the unique flavors. I ordered the "Plentiful Corn Cream" for 1,780 yen and the "Amaou Rare Cheese" for 1,980 yen. Once seated, I waited for my order! The Corn Cream had a striking appearance! It tasted more like a dish than a dessert, and I believe it's a must-try for corn lovers. The addition of black pepper was an interesting twist. The Amaou Rare Cheese was more tart than I expected, and it didn't have the sweet shaved ice flavor I had in mind. Both shaved ice desserts featured different flavors hidden inside, and although they were quite large, there were thoughtful touches to prevent them from being overwhelming. I have recently been really into a shaved ice shop called SORA. They offer a limited edition mitarashi flavor, and the ice is incredibly delicious. Inside, there are various ingredients, but the highlight is the delicious mochi on top, along with black beans that add a great accent. I also tried the mango flavor, which was amazing!

The ice is large and fills you up. The flavor is a sweet and salty combination, and the "full score zunda milk" has a salty cream (soy sauce flavor) on top, which is strange but delicious. The cheesy flavor gets a perfect score of 100. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this ice!
