There are stable and delicious rare whiskies available. I tried drinking Akkeshi Boshu and Yamazaki NV, and I confirmed that Boshu is more delicious than Yamazaki. Of course, Yamazaki is also delicious, but I think NV is better on the rocks than straight.

I had a wonderful encounter at the third bar I casually walked into. Located on the second floor of a building adjacent to Oyafukodori, this small bar had around 10 seats at the counter. The moment I entered, I noticed people speaking English, and to my surprise, there was a Japanese young man with a Western guest, who turned out to be work colleagues visiting the bar as a couple. It was interesting to see such a young couple enjoying a sophisticated bar like this. They seemed like a perfect match at first glance, but they were just coworkers. I refrained from asking if it was true or not out of courtesy. Who knows what the future holds for them, right? According to them, the foreign guest was a tourist from France. Amazing! Just last week, I had drinks with two French young men at a standing bar. It seems like France is calling out to me this year. Perhaps it's a sign from the heavens to visit France! I enjoyed my familiar taste of Jameson on the rocks, and the Bowmore 12-year-old tasted noble when sipped. To finish, I had a Beefeater and tonic, perfectly balanced and delicious. The bartender's skill must be top-notch. And thus, the night of bar hopping for us old folks came to an end. Will I ever meet this couple again? Bars truly are places for serendipitous encounters. I paid with PayPay swiftly. Bon appétit!

Good evening in April 2023! N & N here! For our third bar stop, we decided to try a new place in Ohatsu Tenjin instead of going back to Kita-Shinchi. We found a bar with a rating of 3.61 on Tabelog and decided to give it a try. The bar had around 10 seats at the counter, and the master bartender, a veteran affiliated with the Japan Bartenders Association, was skillfully mixing drinks. It was a cozy, well-established bar. My high-energy partner, G~, struck up a friendly conversation with a young couple next to us. I thought it was a bit intrusive, but the young couple was also friendly, and we all had a great time at the bar. I tried a Blue Margarita and a Sherry barrel-aged whiskey. It's a great bar for those who love whiskey. The drinks were delicious. Thank you for the wonderful experience! ❤️

We gathered at "Shimizu" at the nearby "Heart Inn" to bid farewell to someone who will be transferred to Kyushu in April. We enjoyed some drinks and reminisced before heading to "Time" for the evening. It was my first time visiting "Time," and despite it being almost full, we managed to find a spot at Ichiro's and had a great time. We shared our goodbyes and well wishes for the future. Both new encounters and farewells are a part of life, but we will do our best in our respective places.

Yamazaki 2021, Ichiro Mizunara, Yamazaki 2020 wine, Ichiro wine, they were delicious but there is only a little left of Yamazaki and Ichiro wine barrels (tears). Yamazaki is limited edition so it can't be helped, but it seems that Ichiro doesn't come in often either. And the smoked dishes were also delicious.

I couldn't resist ordering the White Oak that I couldn't drink first at the Spanish Oak, even though I was concerned about the price! I was told to savor the taste slowly because it changes after 10 minutes. I also enjoyed Yamazaki Wine Cask and Akkeshi Boushu. At the first place WWW.W, I enjoyed a luxurious lineup including Yamazaki 18 years and Hibiki 21 years, and I was very satisfied.

It was unusual that there were few customers when I arrived, but it quickly became almost full. When I left, it was empty again. The flow of people seems to be fast. I had Yamazaki Wine Cask, Akishan Boushu, Yamazaki 2021 Edition, and finished with another glass of Wine Cask. The 2021 Edition was just opened and at first sip, I thought "Hmm, what is this?" It was not too refreshing... but as I continued to drink, a delicious sweetness emerged within the easy-to-drink flavor. Oh, it was delicious!

Located in the bustling bar district of Kita-Shinchi, just a bit off the beaten path near Ohatsu Tenjin, this bar offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere without any pretentiousness. Situated on the second floor of a miscellaneous building next to Ohatsu Tenjin, the bar is about 80% full around 9 pm on a Thursday night. With around 10 seats at the counter, the compact bar is run by a single master. The interior is dark wood with a touch of warmth, exuding a sense of cleanliness and a welcoming ambiance. On this particular day, I had four drinks. The Silent Third was a Scotch-based cocktail with orange and lime, a refreshing start to the evening. The Persimmon Martini was surprisingly smooth, with just the right balance of persimmon fruitiness and martini sharpness, making it the most delicious drink of the night. The White Lady was a classic, well-shaken cocktail that hit the spot. The Night Flight, a brandy-based cocktail with pomegranate, highlighted the pomegranate flavor while allowing the brandy's strength to shine through. The master seemed focused on his work, but conversation naturally flowed through questions about the drinks and orders. Through his attentive service and subtle gestures, he provided a sense of hospitality. This bar is a place where you can comfortably explore new drinks without any pretense, whether you want to relax and ponder things or expand your knowledge of alcohol and try new flavors.

Chichibu x Komagatake (like Ichiro's Malt itself) Aikishiri (felt more sea breeze than Bowmore) Yamazaki wine cask (sweeter than Ichiro's Malt's wine cask, with a sweetness like Haagen-Dazs rum raisin) All were first-time tries, but they were all excellent♪ "I apologize for my past posts."

I visited this place for a pre-dinner drink as I had 30 minutes before my dinner reservation at 1805. There were no other customers at the time. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building near the "Higashi Umeda Station." The establishment has been open for 20 years and has an authentic, traditional atmosphere. The 56-year-old master has a voice like a voice actor and exudes a certain aura. I tried two drinks: a Shine Muscat spritzer with champagne base and a French Connection with persimmon and brandy base. Both drinks were fruity and well-crafted. The service was refined. When I asked about the name of the restaurant, I found out that the master was the only disciple allowed to open a bar in Kobe (now closed). The complimentary sandwich and consomme soup at the end were also delicious. I left the restaurant at 1840, with only one regular customer remaining.

I just received the Ichiro's Malt from my hometown tax payment, and it included a water oak that I had never tasted before. Knowing that I would be stopping by here, I decided to try it before opening the bottle at home. I got a new bottle and enjoyed the sweet single malt. The persimmon cocktail was the worst fruit cocktail I have ever had, which was disappointing.

I had heard that Ohatu Tenjin's BAR had high ratings and was curious, so I visited. The bar is located on the second floor of a building. Upon entering through the wooden door with a nice atmosphere, you find yourself in a dimly lit, stylish bar. The place was about half full and had a cozy atmosphere. I asked the bartender for a fruit-based drink, and he recommended a Salty Dog made with pear, which I chose. It was very stylish! They had a wide variety of whiskies, so I ordered a Manhattan. A cucumber sandwich was served as a snack, and it was delicious with fluffy bread. This is a great place for when you want to relax and have a drink as your third stop. Thank you for the meal.

They have a wide variety of fruits and arrange them very deliciously. Today, I had peaches, gold kiwi, figs, watermelon, pineapple, and apples. They go so well together and taste amazing. The atmosphere is also nice, so I plan to visit often in the future.

Had a meal and decided to stop by another place on the way back, so searched for a bar. I visited this popular place in Umeda. It's a lovely bar with only a counter. There was a couple and one man inside. I planned to have just one drink, so I asked for a highball, and my companion ordered a rum and soda. The ice was cut carefully, and I couldn't help but watch the master making the highball. It was delicious, so I ended up having another one. A cucumber sandwich was served, but we both didn't like cucumbers, so we couldn't eat it. I'm sorry. Lastly, we had some soup, but we couldn't finish it either. I'm sorry about that. The bill came to around 4,000 yen for three drinks. I will visit again.

I managed to slip past the inviting atmosphere of the calm adult bar and found the restaurant on the second floor of a certain building. I called ahead to get directions as I was unsure of the location. It seems that there are three elevators, but only one of them leads to the restaurant. Upon entering, I was greeted by warm, dim lighting and a friendly master. At 8 pm, there were only a few customers, but after 9 pm, it was packed with people crowding the small space. I started with a Maker's Mark highball, and later had a champagne and strawberry cocktail made for me. It was full of fruity flavor with a nice texture from the strawberry bits, and the added syrup gave it a nice sweetness that made the drink go down smoothly. Even though I was full from dinner, the cocktail was refreshing and I had a great time. The bartender even carved the strawberries into flower shapes and placed them on the cocktail, providing a cute and attentive service that made me really appreciate the place.

Time Tenjin @ Ohatsu Tenjin
Located on the second floor of the building next to the north gate of Ohatsu Tenjin, this is my favorite bar in Umeda. The master, Mr. Yamamoto, is a wonderful person. The coaster is designed by Narita Ittetsu (*^o^*) Sparkling. Every day, the master bakes bread at home, which is incredibly soft and delicious. Three works by Narita Ittetsu are also displayed in the store. The complimentary consomme soup served at the time of payment is irresistible. Thank you for the delicious meal!!

My mentor at the bar is the late paper-cut artist, Kazunari Ittetsu. He introduced me to the joy of going on bar-hopping adventures without eating, starting from the first bar. "Time Tenjin" is conveniently located between my office and Kita-Shinchi, so before heading to Kita-Shinchi for dinner, I stop by for a quick pre-drink for about 30-40 minutes. Two cocktails are just right. I visit about 5-6 times a year, for over 10 years now. However, on this particular day, I ended up staying for 3 and a half hours with two friends from 6:30 pm to 10 pm. We started with a Moscow Mule, followed by the Solcubano in the photo. We must have had 6-7 drinks in total. The food was delicious too, with a smoked platter and anchovy toast. The conversation was lively, and it turned into a meeting where new possibilities opened up.

After enjoying delicious yakitori at a long-established restaurant, it was suggested to go to another place for a drink. We decided to visit a bar near Otemonjin that we had researched beforehand. The bar is located on the 2nd floor of the Otemonjin Building. As we entered, there were no other customers except for us. A group of three men and one person entered after us. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise and my friend ordered a Jabara, a citrus short cocktail. The Tequila Sunrise was made with fresh oranges, with lots of pulp. It was my first time trying this kind of Tequila Sunrise. It had a strong alcohol taste but also a sweet and sour orange aroma. We were served a small sandwich as a snack, which we enjoyed with our drinks. For the second round, I had a Moscow Mule and my friend had a Singapore Sling. The Moscow Mule also had sliced ginger, giving it a spicy kick. It was my first time trying this type of Moscow Mule. It seems like the bar owner pays attention to using fresh ingredients in their cocktails. Even though these are common cocktails, it felt like a new experience trying them here. The owner had a cool and dandy vibe. The bar had a small and authentic atmosphere, perfect for a quiet drink. We decided to end our year-end party here as we have a day ahead of us. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Personally, I'm not much of a drinker, so I feel a bit hesitant when it comes to bars. However, I actually love bars. As a mysterious light drinker who has a favorite bar in almost every place I visit, I am recognized for this. This time, I was taken to a bar by an old acquaintance who can be called my food mentor in Osaka. I was once again convinced that the master is everything in a bar, as all aspects of a bar are taught by the master, enhancing the quality of their work.

"Mugishu was no longer available, so I ordered Taisetsu instead. While it can't beat the smokiness of Mugishu, after letting it sit for a bit, it starts to get sweeter. Amazing flavor change! Delicious!"
