I'm Kanegon, exploring Kansai gourmet food! Please follow me! [Menya Kagayaki Nakatsu Store] (Osaka, Kita-ku Toyosaki) [Tsukemen Large] ¥950 ★★★★☆4.5 Visit Date: 08/09/2023 [Noodles] Not many tsukemen places use low hydration noodles. It's nice to be able to try low hydration noodles, which can be difficult to make and have a firm texture. The noodles alone have a strong wheat sweetness and are delicious. [Soup] Made mainly with bonito, mackerel, and jaw, the soup has a strong bonito and mackerel flavor. A fish-based tonkotsu tsukemen that stands out from the usual mazesoba style. I really like it!! [Toppings] Two types of chashu: belly and loin. Both are moist, tender, flavorful, and without the typical smell of belly meat. [Atmosphere] The interior has only a counter. It feels calming. Maybe it's the low chairs and the soft demeanor of the staff that create this atmosphere. [Next Visit] The quality was good enough to make me want to try their limited ramen with peace of mind, and if I don't like it, I can always go for the regular tsukemen. I also want to try their rice and gyoza! [Overall] I had a very good impression and felt comfortable dining there. They seem to constantly improve their main menu item, which is wonderful. Thank you for the meal! While moving around the Nakatsu area, I visited "Menya Kagayaki Nakatsu" restaurant. I found a "NO NOODLE NO LIFE" sticker on the ticket machine, which was a good sign! I ordered the "Charshu Ramen" that I was looking for. The ramen was served in about 10 minutes. The rich seafood and pork bone soup had no unpleasant smell and was delicious. The charshu was tender and flavorful, and the noodles had a nice firm texture. The green onions added a nice touch to the dish. The restaurant quickly filled up, which was not surprising considering how delicious the ramen was. This was my 283rd bowl of ramen this year.

It's been a while since I visited. The restaurant is still as popular as ever. The tsukemen, which used to be 800 yen when I used to visit often, has now increased to 950 yen. I felt like the flavor of the dipping sauce has become lighter. The unique rough texture of the noodles here mixes well with the soup.

It's quite a walk from Umeda, but it's close to Nakatsu Station on the subway. I went around 4:30 pm on a Thursday, so I didn't have to wait to get in. There were still customers at that time. Despite being a 850 yen ramen, it came with two generous slices of chashu. The taste is light and fish-based, delicious. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Nakatsu.

I sat at the counter of an easy-to-enter restaurant and ordered tsukemen using the ticket machine system. The noodles and soup were delicious. I chose the large size for the noodles and was very full. The chashu was also tasty. I used a LINE coupon for the seasoned egg. This was my second visit. I want to eat here again soon. Thank you to the staff at the restaurant!

"Menya Kagayaki" group is currently popular in Osaka. Today, I visited the Nakatsu branch. Their seafood and pork bone soup with homemade noodles are highly praised. I ordered the tsukemen (large size) for 950 yen. I added a seasoned egg by sending a friend request on Line. First, the soup was delicious with a clear seafood flavor and the richness of pork bone combined well. There was no unpleasant smell and the taste reached all the way to the back of the soup. The chashu consisted of two types: belly and loin, both of which paired nicely with the dipping sauce. The noodles were medium-thick and straight, with a firm texture and rich flavor. As expected from the Menya Kagayaki group, I was able to enjoy a consistently delicious tsukemen. Despite the modest impression of the restaurant due to popular nearby shops like "Mugi to Menjo" and "Ramen Yashichi", it was a very tasty ramen shop. I visited on a Thursday at 11 am and was the first customer. After that, more and more customers arrived, and there was soon a line forming outside."

I finally visited a ramen shop that I had been curious about, which I often passed by. I ordered the tsukemen (¥950) and my friend ordered the Chashu men with extra noodles (¥1100). We visited around 8 pm and luckily there were two seats available, so we were able to enter smoothly. After us, four more people arrived and had to wait outside. The shop has only a counter with about 10 seats. Although the shop is small, the staff's smiles and energetic greetings make up for it. The soup was mild and very gentle, with a subtle pork bone soy sauce flavor. It was easy to eat, without the strong taste of fish or dried fish that I don't like. The noodles were medium-thick and smooth, similar to champon noodles. The regular size of the tsukemen was about 210g, and even women could easily finish it. The chashu was made of two types, belly and loin, both tender and delicious. The flavor was not too strong, so it would likely be enjoyed by everyone. Since it's a dipping sauce, it was a bit oily, so those who don't like oil might prefer regular ramen. Many customers were ordering gyoza, so I would like to try it next time! During lunchtime, you can add rice for ¥50, so I might go for lunch next time.

Around 2pm, I got hungry and looked for a place to eat. I decided to try this place and it was amazing! The rich soup was delicious and the noodles were chewy, perfect for soaking up the soup. The chashu was tender and easy to eat, it was the best! I want to try their ramen next time!

Menya Kagayaki Nakatsu Store・Nakatsu (Osaka Metro) / Ramen, Tsukemen, Rice Bowls (1F, 3-8-8 Toyosaki, Kita-ku, Osaka) ☀️〜¥999
If you want to eat tsukemen in Osaka's Nakatsu area, this place is a must-visit! The deliciousness here is combined with a focus on safety and security - they do not use any chemical seasonings in their soup. They also have a strong commitment to the noodles! The wheat flavor and texture are easy to taste, making the noodles enjoyable to eat every day without getting tired of them. They make their own low-water content noodles for both ramen and tsukemen.
When you order the tsukemen, you'll get their homemade thick noodles that are smooth and elastic, matching perfectly with the rich fish and tonkotsu soup. It's delicious and additive-free, so it's kind to your body as well - a great bonus!
The chashu is also tender, the soup mixes well with the noodles, and even though I ordered a regular portion, I left feeling satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

I was lucky to find such a great restaurant near the hotel I stayed at, "Menya Kagayaki Nakatsu Store." The next day, I had a Pokemon event to attend, so I had been focusing on staying hydrated and neglected my meals. Even though it wasn't mealtime, I was relieved to find a restaurant that was open all day in the city. I entered the restaurant and handed my meal ticket to the friendly staff, then waited for my order. I had the Ajitama Chashu Ramen for 1150 yen. The thick slices of chashu had a mild flavor that paired well with the richly seasoned soup, creating a nice balance. I wish they hadn't run out of rice because I would have loved to try the chashu bowl! It's amazing to stumble upon such a great restaurant like this in Osaka, truly a gourmet city.

While I was in Nakatsu, I saw a delicious-looking video on social media recently, so I visited "Menya Kagayaki." They offer free upsizing (2 servings) and during lunchtime, you can add rice or pickled vegetables for just 50 yen, which is a great service. The staff were also very friendly, but the seating arrangement was a bit confusing. The soup was a gentle and additive-free fish and pork bone broth, which was of good quality. However, as I continued eating, it started to feel a bit monotonous and I couldn't quite feel completely satisfied. It made me realize that ramen and tsukemen are complex foods that require deeper exploration. Thank you for the meal.

Tsukemen (Large) 950 yen
Smooth noodles with two slices of thinly sliced chashu. The soup is a typical fish-based type. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but it's a comforting option for a hot night. On the flip side, it may be a bit lacking in flavor, so adding a seasoned egg or pickled vegetables rice might be a good idea.

Recommended dish is the free extra-large tsukemen with thick noodles. The noodles have a firm texture and come with citrus extracts and spicy spices for flavor variation. The service speed is a bit slow for a ramen shop. It tends to get crowded during lunchtime, so it might be better to go at a slightly different time.

The customer service is very good. The tsukemen costs 950 yen. The noodles are chewy, and the dipping sauce has a nice kick to it, very delicious. You can get a free extra large portion. I ordered a regular size, but it was a bit small. It seems like the standard is the extra large portion. It's not cheap, so I wish they would include more toppings like bamboo shoots.

I sometimes order noodles from Uber and Kira-san! This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and the freshly made deliciousness was truly on another level compared to Uber! Since I had come to the restaurant, I decided to try the luxurious ramen with everything on it that I had never ordered before. The soup, flavored with seafood, was so good that I couldn't help but drink it all up. The thin noodles were perfectly coated with the soup. It was amazing!

In the vicinity of Nakatsu Station, this is one of the most popular shops, often crowded before noon on weekdays. The turnover of customers is a bit slow, which seems to be the fate of tsukemen shops. While they also serve ramen, most customers seem to order tsukemen. The soup is a rich blend of seafood and pork bone, creating a thick, creamy broth. Many people praise the fact that they don't use chemical seasonings and the soup isn't overly salty. However, personally, I wish it had a bit more depth of flavor to match its appearance. I wonder if they would accommodate a request for a stronger flavor if you ask for it to be "more intense"?

Arrived at the restaurant on Thursday at 11:45 AM. No wait. Ordered a large serving of char siu tsukemen and pickled mustard leaf rice. It came out in about 10 minutes. While waiting for the order, there was a short line outside, but the turnover is fast so you can get in without much wait. I enjoyed the meal until the end without getting tired of it. The portion is large, but even women can finish it easily. I left around 12:10 PM and there were about 2 groups waiting in line.

Char siu tsukemen (large) including tax 1,150 yen * You can choose the size for free up to 2 servings (280g). The noodles are like champon noodles, with a firm texture and smoothness, very delicious. The char siu is thickly sliced and there are two types of char siu, both of high quality. It's recommended to have it with char siu. Just with this, it seems like it would go well with rice haha. The dipping sauce is rich but lacks depth due to the oiliness. If only the dipping sauce was better, it would have been at a much higher level, but unfortunately it's not. Maybe if there were a bit more green onions, it would have been slightly better? (Overall, there are no particularly negative impressions).

Ramen shop in Nakatsu. ● Order Tsukemen Large ¥950 Tsukemen comes in small, regular, and large sizes at the same price. The large size is quite substantial at 280g. The dipping sauce is thick and heavy. It seems to be a basic fish and pork bone broth. It also has a slightly creamy aroma. The toppings are on the light side. The noodles are thin and not very chewy. The chashu is just two pieces of basic pork. Everything is pretty average and lacks a distinct flavor.

Tsukemen Special Large for 1000 yen. I have been to other stores before, but this was my first visit to the Nakatsu branch. The fish and pork bone dipping sauce was delicious and reassuring even for a first-time visitor. The noodles were a good medium thickness with a smooth texture. Although I only ordered the tsukemen without any extra toppings, it was so tasty that I wanted more. 【Foodie's Tweet】Today I visited Menya Kagayaki. When I arrived at 2 pm, there were a few customers. The interior of the restaurant has only a counter, so it's easy to enter alone. First, I ordered at the ticket machine. Ramen or Tsukemen. I wasn't sure which one was popular, so I ordered Tsukemen. Tsukemen comes with a free extra serving, which made my son very happy. During lunchtime, you can choose between plain rice or pickled vegetable rice for only 50 yen! Personally, I prefer Ramen with white rice and Tsukemen with pickled vegetable rice. The noodles are smooth straight noodles that go well with the rich seafood-based soup. They have multiple locations in Osaka, so it's easy to visit!
