Sazahira Ramen 24th bowl (Animal-based + Soy sauce 850 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a soy sauce flavor based on chicken and pork bones. The noodles are medium-thin curly noodles. The ingredients include pork belly chashu, Kujo green onions, bean sprouts, and boiled eggs. The white soup made from chicken bones and pork bones has a moderate amount of oil, and the rounded soy sauce seasoning creates a good balance of flavors. It has a light pork bone umami taste with a strong kick of garlic from Tako-cho, Aomori Prefecture. You can choose the amount of garlic you prefer. Of course, I went for extra garlic. The homemade noodles have a supple firmness that pairs well with the soup. The small but thick chashu slices, with a good balance of lean and fatty meat, are very delicious. During lunchtime, you can get free extra rice + kimchi or topping as a service, and I chose the boiled egg. You can also enjoy a change in taste with separate dishes of garlic miso and pickled ginger. This is Ramen Sanpei. The smell of grilled meat fills the air in Tsuruhashi. It's past 7:30 in the evening. There are many ramen shops in this area where you can enjoy garlic ramen. The restaurant is quite crowded. I found a seat and ordered the Sanpei Ramen. It comes with black garlic soy sauce, seasoned egg, and chives. The soup is a light Tonkotsu broth, similar to Kagoshima ramen. The slightly curly medium-thin noodles are delicious when combined with the light Tonkotsu broth. The Aomori minced garlic adds a strong garlic flavor, which is tasty. The texture of the Kujo green onions and bean sprouts is also enjoyable. The seasoned egg has a nice flavor. The fatty and tender sliced pork is delicious. The added garlic gives it a strong punch. Overall, it was a delicious bowl of ramen with a strong garlic flavor.

Sometimes I really crave this place. The owner is always cheerful and runs the kitchen efficiently. The taste is truly Satsuma-style, but I find it even better than traditional Satsuma dishes, and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy it with beer. If you add extra garlic (lots), be prepared for the consequences the next day. Well, they say garlic is a superfood, so let's enjoy it actively.

Sometimes I have a sudden craving for Sappyo-san's ramen, and as always, I'll have it with extra garlic. The flavor is gentle yet rich with the garlic, making it perfect for replenishing stamina even when my stomach is tired. The customer service is just as kind as the ramen, making me feel at ease. The tender chashu is a great accompaniment, so I always end up ordering a chuhai as well...(^_^;)

Here, you can also enjoy a delicious bowl with a strong garlic flavor. You write your name at the storefront and wait. After about 5 minutes, you are seated inside. This time, I had the Sanpei Ramen. It comes with black garlic-infused soy sauce and a seasoned boiled egg as a topping. The soup is made from a blend of tonkotsu and chicken broth, known as the Naniwa Light Tonkotsu soup, similar to the cloudy soup of Kagoshima ramen. The noodles are slightly curly and medium-thin. The Aomori-grown garlic is generously added, giving the soup a rich garlic flavor that complements the noodles well. The crunchy texture of Kujo green onions and bean sprouts is also delightful. The spicy garlic chives added a nice kick to the flavor. The seasoned boiled egg with black garlic-infused soy sauce was deliciously flavored. On the first Saturday of September, I decided to make it a day for trying out new ramen shops and exploring ones I haven't visited before. Despite the lingering heat of early September in Osaka, I limited my search to the nearby area and ended up in Teradacho. Unfortunately, all three of my potential choices were closed for a break as I arrived around 2 PM. Feeling a bit disappointed, I decided to take a train to Tsuruhashi on the JR Osaka Loop Line. Tsuruhashi is known for Ramen Sanpei, where I ordered a ramen set without hesitation. The collagen-rich soup had a delightful blend of chicken and pork flavors without any hint of unpleasant smells, showcasing the mastery of their pork bone soup. The chashu (roasted pork) came in both diced and sliced pieces, allowing me to savor it alongside the noodles and rice. The toppings, including egg, garlic (from Aomori), and Kujo green onions, were all carefully selected, highlighting the owner's uncompromising commitment to quality. I wanted to go to the neighboring Horumon maze-soba, but this place makes up for its early closing time. It was packed with garlic. The service had a Tsuruhashi vibe, which was interesting. The chashu was pretty good, I thought.

I thought it was a Satsuma-style ramen based on the appearance, but it was indeed Satsuma-style. However, it was more affordable than Satsuma-style, and apart from the noodles, the taste was close to the old Satsuma-style, so I enjoyed it. It's a small shop with only counter seats, but the waitress was quick and efficient, so the turnover seems good. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I visited Ramen Sanpei in Tsuruhashi. I wanted to try their lunch special, the "Assorted Chashu Set Meal," so I decided to drop by. I went all out and ordered the large size. The Assorted Chashu Set Meal came with chashu, bean sprout namul, and kimchi. I was really looking forward to it. The chashu was tender and juicy, and the namul and kimchi were delicious. Everything went well with rice. The soup, which is usually a side dish in set meals, was made from ramen broth and had a strong garlic flavor. It was really tasty, and I was completely satisfied. I don't usually eat ramen, but on the way to the hotel after a party, I decided to wait in line at a ramen shop that had formed a queue. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I entered the shop. I ordered the simplest dish on the menu, the Sanpei ramen (850 yen). It was served in about 5 minutes. It was a classic tonkotsu ramen. I was able to enjoy the luxury of having ramen as a closing meal after the party.

I visited Ramen Sanpei, a famous shop in front of Tsuruhashi Station known for its garlic ramen. I had no plans for the rest of the day and tomorrow is my day off, so I came to enjoy a hearty garlic ramen. I arrived at 1:15 PM and there was one seat available at the counter, so I didn't have to wait and went inside. During lunchtime, you can choose between rice, one topping, extra noodles, or green tea as a service. I ordered the Chashu Ramen for 1100 yen with extra garlic and a seasoned boiled egg topping. It was a very filling bowl of ramen. The light tonkotsu broth with lots of garlic was a perfect match! I chose the Chashu Ramen, and the thick slices of chashu were plentiful and deliciously fatty! The seasoned boiled egg was also flavored with black garlic soy sauce. It was a bowl full of stamina and flavor!

A ramen shop located in the highly competitive area of Tsuruhashi Ramen. The small shop has only counter seating. They offer continuous service, which is convenient. I chose the Kazuhira Ramen. The lunch menu seems like a great deal, so I plan to visit for lunch next time. *If you take the JR line, it's on the left after crossing the signal outside the central exit gate.

Osaka City, Tennoji Ward. In front of Tsuruhashi Station, Ramen Sanpei. A popular spot that you can't avoid when drinking in Tsuruhashi! It's always packed. I was waiting a bit when suddenly the waitress whispered in my ear, "If you're okay with sitting here, we can seat you right away." I agreed nervously. Despite the sun setting, it was still humid. But then I noticed a spot cooler. It must be working for me... Ramen Sanpei (772 yen + tax) with 3 slices of chashu, bean sprouts, green onions, and garlic! The soup was a classic light tonkotsu with a hint of chicken white broth. It was delicious as always. The noodles had a lovely wavy texture and paired perfectly with the garlic. Another satisfying meal!

Ramen Sanpei. Garlic ramen in front of Tsuruhashi Station. I visited around 10:30 pm and it was full, but the turnover was fast so I was able to get in quickly. The ramen is generally Satsuma-style, but the taste is a bit richer compared to that. They seem to use garlic from Aomori, but maybe because it's raw, the smell is still strong the next morning. I added leeks (free), which made it delicious but maybe not suitable before work. I think the garlic will come out, but it's lonely without it. Chashu Ramen 1100 yen.

Sanzan Ramen for 850 yen (with less garlic) has a good balance between the rich white broth soup and chewy noodles. The char siu is incredibly tender and delicious. The bean sprouts and Kujo green onions toppings are crunchy and complement the rich soup perfectly. The fresh garlic adds a nice kick to the soup, making it so tasty that you'll want to finish every last drop.

I couldn't find the previous data, so I'm posting a new review. I always order the chashu set for lunch. The rice is free for a large portion, so I think it's a good value for money. I feel satisfied by drinking the soup used for the ramen side dish. The kimchi and bean sprouts are good supporting roles. I also enjoyed the free garlic chives, which I added to the soup for a change in flavor. It was very delicious.
