I bought a cheese souffle for a snack. I ate it right away while it was cold, and it was even more delicious than I imagined. It is rich, but has a soft and fluffy texture. The main ingredients are eggs, cream cheese, milk, butter, wine, etc., which are typical of Hokkaido.

I bought a Snaffles pudding at the station, let's go back to the hotel. It's a pudding with a Snaffles on top. It's like a convenience store souffle pudding. Let's enjoy it. The familiar, mellow taste of Snaffles, the pudding underneath is firm on the surface but quite soft. I'll mix it while enjoying the texture. Both have a stable and delicious taste that is easy to imagine. It's not just Snaffles, I'll remember that.

I got a souvenir from Hakodate. It's a set of Chitose cheese and cocoa. They are individually packed, making it convenient to share with colleagues or classmates. The moist and firm texture is perfect for snacking during telework.

I received a souvenir from a reliable junior I have trusted since long ago, who came from Hakodate. I am looking forward to working together in the future♪ Snaffles' cookies, which are becoming easier to find in Sapporo, are delicious. While their cheese omelette is famous, their crispy cookies are also worth trying.

The souvenir from the bustling 2-day stay in Hakodate was the cheese omelette, recommended as the must-have souvenir from Hakodate. I bought a pack of 4 cheese omelettes (864 yen) at a shop inside JR Hakodate Station and enjoyed them at home the next day. The fluffy texture was like a souffle, with a delightful cheese aroma. It brought back memories of yesterday in Hakodate, and I savored them deliciously. Thank you for the meal.

This is a souvenir from my husband's business trip. Although there is a store in Sapporo as well, it's always nice when he buys it in Hakodate. First, I'll start with the Caramel Gaufrette - a moist cookie with cinnamon-flavored caramel in the middle. It has a unique taste. It's not particularly delicious, but it's interesting. Next is the Cheese Souffle Omelette. It's fluffy with a hint of cheese flavor, and it's delicious as always. It's just a simple cheese souffle, but it's tasty. Thank you for the meal!

When I went to Hakodate, I saw a group of high school girls on a school trip in the streetcar, all carrying paper bags of this particular snack. It seems to be a popular sweet among dessert-savvy high school girls. I made a note of the name of the confectionery shop. I visited the shop inside Hakodate Station and bought some caramel gaufrettes that seemed to have a long shelf life. As soon as I opened the packaging, the scent of cinnamon wafted out. Unlike the crispy gaufres popular at F-do, these gaufrettes were not as crispy, more like half-baked. The caramel sandwiched inside was sweet, and I found that a quarter was my limit to eat at once. These gaufrettes are said to be exclusive to the station, making them a perfect souvenir for those with a sweet tooth.

Located on the first floor of JR Hakodate Station, this store is also popular at the Hokkaido products exhibition in department stores. I bought the Shiroi Koibito White Chocolate Omelette, a collaboration product with "Shiroi Koibito". The plain one is delicious as well, but this one is also quite tasty.

Snaffles is located on the first floor inside Hakodate Station. When it comes to Snaffles, their fluffy and melty cheese omelette is a must-try. I had their omelette wrapped in bread and baked, called Omupan. It was soft and the delicious taste of cheese spread in my mouth. It was not too sweet and very tasty.

Visited the station store to purchase a limited menu item. Upon visiting after lunch on a weekday, there was only one type of station store limited goffret and the store limited ompan was readily available. Ompan for 270 yen, Catch Goffret Vanilla Fromage for 200 yen. The ompan was less sweet than expected. It had a stronger cheese flavor than cream, similar to a cheese omelette. The bread was moist without interfering with the taste. If it's for dessert, then the cheese omelette is the way to go, but if it's for a snack, then the ompan is a good choice. The goffret had a soft and chewy texture with cream inside. It's not bad, but it feels a bit expensive. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to buy it. Considering other cakes purchased from different stores, it's safer to go for the cheese omelette or a product that uses it.

I visited this shop located in JR Hakodate Station because I bought some sweets there before and they were delicious. This time, I chose the omelette tiramisu. It was only available frozen, so I brought it home in a cooler bag and stored it in the refrigerator. The next day, I tried the sweets and they were still rich and delicious. I heard there is a Tokyo branch at Yurakucho Station, so I would like to visit there next time.

I purchased the limited quantity "Omupan" to try it out. I was asked to eat it on the same day. Compared to Snaffle's image, it is less sweet, so remember that it is bread when eating it to fully appreciate this new product. It goes well with milk or coffee, and it doesn't fall apart when eating, so you can enjoy it even in the car.

The other day, I remembered reading a review about Snaffles and realized I hadn't written about it even though I had been there. So, I went looking for it and finally found it. Snaffles is a well-known shop with several locations in Hakodate. You can buy freshly baked gaufrettes at the shop near the station. I decided to buy two types - the freshly baked one and the regular one - and enjoyed them on the train. The freshly baked one had a soft and chewy texture, almost half-cooked, and was warm and interesting to eat. The other one was the usual crispy gaufrette, which was delicious in its own way. It was fun to watch the live demonstration of making them. It was a great experience, and I would love to visit Hakodate again. Thank you for the meal, Hakodate.

I found a Snaffles store inside Hakodate Station. I already bought the omelette last time, so this time I bought a bowl of cookies with 10 pieces inside. There are 2 pieces each of white, brown sugar, sesame, chocolate, and peanut flavors. It's great as a souvenir.

There are many different flavors to choose from, what would you recommend? I asked my daughter who was staying at home, and she said the classic is good. You can buy it in Yurakucho. Also, for the waffles, it's better to buy them boxed as they are fragile. The classic cheese flavor has the best melt-in-your-mouth texture. There are many similar products, but this one is the most delicious. The waffles have caramel sandwiched in between, with a bittersweet taste that goes well with tea. Other flavors are tasty too, but the classic is still the best.

Around noon, I visited Snaffles, which now has a directly managed store in Sapporo. There were about ten people waiting in line. The limited edition gaufrettes were popular, with a wait time of about 15 minutes until they were ready. Although the omupan was said to be sold out, they still had a few left. The gaufrettes come in 5 different flavors and are quite different from the famous Fugetsudo brand. The cream filling is rich, and the texture is moist rather than crispy. Priced at 200 yen each, they are reasonably priced and taste delicious. The omupan is a normal bread with a small cheese omelette inside, priced at around 270 yen each. To be honest, the cheese omelette alone might taste better. Since these items are limited edition, they could make a good gift or conversation piece.

JR Hakodate Station has a souvenir shop where I always buy my favorite item at the Hokkaido Product Fair. The item I always buy is the Cheese Omelette, 8 pieces for 1555 yen (tax included). It seems like they might have raised the price a bit, but they also included some baked goods (similar to madeleines, in plain and chocolate flavors) as a bonus. Due to some circumstances, I decided to have a little bit for breakfast the next day after purchasing. I didn't eat all 8 pieces at once, of course. Removing the individual plastic packaging is a bit of a hassle, but it's worth it. The fluffy texture and cheese flavor are just as amazing as always. Since the Product Fair was canceled due to COVID-19, I thought about buying online, but since I was already there, I decided to buy it in person. I also noticed some new flavors in 4-piece packs, which I haven't tried before, so I might enjoy those during my stay. I hope the Product Fair can come back once COVID-19 is over. Thank you for the meal.

One of the Hokkaido brand Snaffles, the Cheese Omelette. There are various shops around, but I finally visited the headquarters in Hakodate.
[About the shop]
Located on the 1st floor of JR Hakodate Station, in an area called Hokkaido Shikisai-kan. Opposite is Hakodate Ekiben Mikado, famous for its station bento.
[About the sweets]
There is a special waffle available only at this shop. Of course, there is also the Cheese Omelette.
- Cheese Omelette: 777 yen tax included
A representative sweet of the shop known as Snaffles. It is light and fluffy, so you can easily eat four at once. Simply delicious.
- Catch Waffle (Vanilla Fromage): 200 yen tax included
A semi-raw waffle with a fresh texture.
- Catch Waffle (Chocolat Caramel Sale): 200 yen tax included
A semi-raw waffle with salted caramel inside.
- Caramel Waffle: 140 yen tax included
A crispy dough compared to Catch. Also, it has a longer shelf life. Personally, I preferred this one.
[Summary]
The Catch Waffle can be eaten with one hand, making it possible to eat while walking around, although it may be a bit messy. You can also buy souvenirs, making it a convenient shop.

I went to the station to buy a ticket and decided to peek into a shop. I found something called "Omupan" at Snaffles. It seems to be a cheese omelette rolled in bread. I thought it might taste like custard rolled in bread, but it actually had a nice cheese flavor. It could be a good option when you want to satisfy your hunger with a cheese omelette. I heard it's only good until today, so I bought one. The lady gave me a bag for just that one item.

Next to the counter of the shop, there is a glass-walled workshop where staff are diligently cooking. Shelves and showcases display various sweets such as Bon Appetit, Lang de Calamar, Lang de C, Fox's Tail, Bear's Tail, Murangbe, Catch Go Flette, Cheese Omelette... Among them, I tried the Cheese Omelette, which is a roll bread with cheese omelette sandwiched between the bread dough. It was fluffy, chewy, and slightly sweet, like a cheese bread. I plan to try the Catch Go Flette next time.
