⭐Lunch Set of Gamberi (tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, sakura shrimp, bird's eye chili, parsley) @ La Barcaccia Located at: 3-5-17 Toyosaki, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Nearest Station: 4-minute walk from Nakatsu Station on the Midosuji Line Closed on Mondays Website: http://la-barcaccia.com/index.php TP: 3.70 (171 reviews) Cuisine: Pizza (69 nationwide, 5 in Osaka Prefecture, 5 in Osaka City, 5 in Kita-ku), Italian (23 in Osaka Prefecture, 23 in Osaka City, 13 in Kita-ku), Pizza Top 100 (39 nationwide, 4 in Osaka Prefecture, 4 in Osaka City, 3 in Kita-ku) Winter Break Visit in December 2021 - First visit This restaurant specializes in Neapolitan pizza baked in a blue wood-fired oven imported from Naples, as well as rustic Southern Italian home cooking focusing on seafood and vegetables. The name of the restaurant means "old boat" in Italian. I arrived around noon, but was told they were fully booked until after 1:00 PM. When I asked to make a reservation for after 1:00 PM, I was informed that they do not take reservations at that time. As I was about to leave, the staff came after me outside and kindly accommodated my request for a reservation. Thank you very much! After relaxing in a nearby park and experiencing a strange moment of being surrounded by a large number of pigeons that suddenly disappeared, I returned to the restaurant at 1:15 PM. Lunch Set: ¥1980 - Assorted 7 appetizers - Gamberi +¥300 - Espresso Total: ¥2280 The appetizers included salad, pate, Italian-style char siu, mashed potatoes, and bread with various toppings. The pumpkin soaked in oil was particularly delicious and seemed like a perfect match for wine. The Gamberi pizza had toppings of tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, sakura shrimp, bird's eye chili, and parsley. I've recently been enjoying cutting the crust of the pizza (known as "cornicione") and eating it separately. The cornicione here was soft and flavorful, and the sakura shrimp on the pizza was incredibly tasty. The buffalo mozzarella and tomato sauce had depth and the flavors intensified as I savored each bite. Halfway through the pizza, I separated the cornicione and the inner part, then rolled them separately. The softness of the cornicione enhanced the flavor of the shrimp, making it extremely delicious. The last two slices were drizzled with spicy oil placed on the counter, and it was definitely worth the one-hour wait. I am grateful for the restaurant's kindness, and I will make sure to make a reservation next time.

When it comes to pizza in Osaka city, this is a famous restaurant! From September, the menu at the counter seats on the first floor has changed, with a wide variety of wines and small dishes, making it a regular spot for dining with those who enjoy alcohol. It's perfect for those who enjoy drinking in small groups, as you can try your favorite dishes little by little. The owner is a sommelier, so if you ask for a wine that goes well with the appetizers, he will bring you the perfect one. I ended up going once a month in September, October, and November. If you include lunch, I might have gone a little more... The small dish menu starts from 300 yen, and I always order the marinated broccoli with anchovies for 300 yen because it's incredibly delicious. The signature dish of Bar Cacciucco, the sea ham (smoked marlin) for 900 yen, is also a must-order. It comes with seasonal fruits that go perfectly with it. There is also a special pizza menu available only at the counter seats. Probably the most expensive one in Japan? Uni and seaweed pizza for 4000 yen. It has a generous amount of sea urchin on top of a seaweed cream sauce, which matches perfectly with seaweed, the food of sea urchins. The melting pizza dough from Bar Cacciucco is exquisitely combined, making it incredibly delicious! The Tet de Moine (Swiss cheese) pizza is shaved with a special cheese-shaving machine. The smelly cheese turns into deliciousness when baked in a wood-fired oven, making it a pizza that goes well with wine. The main dishes are also served in small portions. You can order the homemade Salsiccia by the piece, and when you cut it, the juicy meat juices overflow. The homemade desserts are also delicious, with gelato that varies depending on the season, all tasting like those from a specialty store! For those who want to drink, you can use the first floor for those who want wine, and the second floor for larger groups. The food is delicious, the recommended wines are brought out, and it is an excellent restaurant! Please note that the first floor is mainly for those who want to drink wine.

Visited on a public holiday Monday with 2 people at 12:30. Made a reservation by phone in the morning of the same day. Seated at a table on the 1st floor. The lunch on weekends and holidays is a set menu for 2170 yen. You can choose from an appetizer platter and pizza, pasta, or main dish. Drinks and dessert are available for an additional charge. In fact, pizza and other items usually come with an additional charge, so around 500 yen on top of the 2170 yen is the norm. The appetizer was shared between the two of us. The staff asked if sharing was okay, so if you're a couple, it will be served on one plate. If you prefer separate plates, that is also possible. The pumpkin and carrot side dishes were delicious. We each ordered a pizza. My husband and I shared Margherita and Quattro Formaggi. The thin crust makes it easy to eat, and both pizzas have a rich cheese flavor, creating a good balance. If it's your first time, you should definitely try Margherita. Quattro Formaggi was a bit too rich for me. The pizzas were delicious and authentic, but the cost on weekends and holidays is a bit high, so the cost performance may not be that great. I recommend going on weekdays. Without drinks, it was 4640 yen for 2 people.

I finally went to Raval Kacca, a restaurant I had been curious about for a while. The menu had a variety of options, making it hard to choose. The first thing that caught my eye was the swordfish carpaccio! I asked how they make swordfish into carpaccio, and they told me they smoke it in a special refrigerator without using any heat. I decided to try it, and it was delicious! It was lighter and more flavorful than traditional ham. The appetizer platter had 10 different items and was very satisfying. Every dish was delicious, especially the oyster, cutlassfish, and zucchini fritters. And of course, the pizza was amazing as well! I heard they also have small-sized dishes for solo diners, so I might go back alone next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

A famous pizza restaurant in Nakatsu. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, with a renovated old house. The first floor has a counter and the second floor has table seats. I visited at noon on a weekday and most of the people who came were late. I had the pair lunch which included an appetizer platter, pizza, and pasta. I forgot to take notes so I don't know the names of the dishes. The appetizer was delicious, but both the pizza and pasta were a bit salty for my taste. The pizza crust was a bit thin for me, I prefer it to be more chewy. The tomato sauce was tasty though. I like my pasta to be more al dente. I was really looking forward to this place, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. Thank you for the meal.

Limited to weekends, a special lunch set is available for 1,980 yen, which includes a luxurious appetizer, a choice of pizza, pasta, or a main dish, and a drink. You can also indulge in a glass of sparkling wine for a truly blissful experience. Despite the bustling atmosphere inside, the dishes are served promptly one by one. Luxurious appetizers include a variety of flavors such as sweet, sour, and salty, with seven different options like terrine, marinated sardines, fish pate, chicken ham, pumpkin, carrots, salad, and mashed potatoes. Each dish is delicious and well-crafted, showcasing attention to detail. The Napoli pizza with gamberi, mozzarella, sakura shrimp, and chili tomato sauce is exceptional, with a soft and light dough that is both chewy and crispy. The juicy tomato sauce, mild cheese, and shrimp aroma create a burst of flavors in every bite. The chicken and broccoli cream sauce pasta is a pleasant surprise, with a green sauce made from broccoli puree. The thick noodles are cooked al dente, and despite feeling full, the dish is so delicious that you'll want to finish every last bite. Although the total bill for two people exceeded 7,000 yen due to drinks, it was a luxurious lunch experience worth repeating on special occasions.

I wanted to eat delicious pizza, so my friend made a reservation at a nice restaurant. We ordered the special weekend lunch, which was surprisingly large. We shared two different pizzas. They were delicious! Despite it being lunchtime, we also ordered a bottle of Chardonnay since we heard the wine was good at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the wine went down so well that we ended up finishing the whole bottle between the two of us. - Appetizer - Margherita Pizza - Buffalo Mozzarella and Parma Ham with Arugula

Today is a paid holiday. I decided to have a leisurely lunch in Nakatsu. I went to a restaurant called "La Varcaccia" that I had wanted to visit for a while. I was worried that it might be crowded, but I was quickly seated at the counter on the first floor. I had the pizza lunch, which came with a selection of five appetizers and a Roman-style pizza. By the time I finished the delicious appetizers, the pizza arrived. The thin, chewy crust with the acidity of the tomato sauce, the richness of buffalo mozzarella, anchovies, and basil all combined to create an exquisite flavor. I enjoyed adding oil for a different taste. I enjoyed every bite until the end!

Last night, I felt like having Italian food in the rain, so I decided to go to a place known for its delicious pizza in Umeda Chayamachi. It was my first time visiting in a while. Due to the pandemic, they have renovated and I have used their takeout service a few times, getting their pizza and assorted appetizers to go. I started off with a beer to quench my thirst. I was happy to see my favorite Moretti beer available! For appetizers, they usually serve 10 different kinds for two people, but since there were three of us, we got 7 kinds this time. You can also pay extra to get the full 10 kinds for three people. We also ordered fried firefly squid and mushrooms, squid ink pasta, homemade sausages, and shirasu (baby sardines) with garlic chips. Of course, everything was delicious as always. The owner even brought us three types of red wine to choose from based on our preferences. We always make sure to order the appetizers and pizza here every time we visit. The counter on the first floor also offers small dishes for one or two people, so it's great for a quick meal alone. I always call ahead before going because they tend to fill up quickly, so if you plan on going, be sure to give them a call. The squid ink pasta was also very tasty. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

3rd visit. Blood sausage and white bean sprout pizza with tuna cheek meat and white asparagus. The blood sausage is amazing! No unpleasant smell, and the white bean sprouts are moist and smooth like sweet bean paste. Definitely worth a repeat visit. The cheek meat is tender and juicy, just like eating regular meat. Another dish worth coming back for. The pizza has a thin crust with plenty of flavor from the toppings, as delicious as always!

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and kind. The pizza had a thin crust but was chewy and delicious. The sea urchin pizza had a strong ocean flavor and was very tasty. The pasta was also delicious, but the pizza is recommended. The atmosphere was nice, not too formal. It would have been great if they had highballs on the menu.

【Tabelog Top 100 Regulars】Joining the Nakatsu gourmet scene! A friend recommended La Barcaccia, an Italian restaurant known for its wine and occasional pizzas. Nakatsu is an area with a strong trattoria vibe, boasting some famous and popular restaurants. 【Business Style】Their operating hours are a bit unconventional, so it's recommended to make a reservation before visiting. They also offer a great lunch deal, making it a cost-effective option. Dinner prices may be slightly higher, but it's still worth it. La Barcaccia is versatile and suitable for various occasions. I'm in Osaka. In Kita, Nakatsu. Between Osaka Metro Nakatsu Station and Shinmido. Just a little south of Takoyaki Park, you'll find this restaurant. I visited after a long time. I was torn between the pizza lunch and the pasta lunch on the sign outside the restaurant, but I chose the pasta! I ordered the Sakura shrimp and green pea pasta, of course, in a large portion! First, the appetizer assortment and bread arrived. The appetizers were all very delicious and easy to eat in bite-sized portions. I was smiling while eating, and then the eagerly awaited Sakura shrimp and green pea pasta arrived. I felt a slight bitterness from the green peas, but other than that, it was very delicious. The portion was bigger than expected, and I was very satisfied. I want to come back at night next time.

I really want to eat delicious pizza! @1110labarcaccia recommended some wines to enjoy with the food. I tried the Quattro Formaggi and Vesuvio with squid ink sauce. The pizza was amazing with its creamy cheese and perfect texture. I want to go back with a larger group next time to try more varieties. I especially want to try the sea urchin pizza next time. The staff at the restaurant were wonderful and it was a fantastic dining experience. Thank you for the meal. #sakelog

Located about a 3-minute walk from Nakatsu Station, this restaurant has received the Pizza Hyakumeiten award for the 4th time in 2021! The lunch set (1980 yen excluding tax) includes a selection of 7 appetizers, your choice of main dish, and coffee. This renowned pizza restaurant has won the Pizza Hyakumeiten award four times in a row! The weekend lunch set includes a variety of 7 appetizers and allows you to choose one main dish from pizza, pasta, or other options! Coffee is also included after the meal! This time, I shared two types of pizzas with my companion. We ordered the classic Margherita and Prosciutto e Rucola. The appetizer platter includes a variety of items such as vegetables, fish, meat, and pate on bread, allowing you to enjoy a small portion of each of the 7 items! The pizza crust is relatively thin, with a chewy texture and a satisfying feeling. The Margherita had a nice balance of tomato acidity and sweetness, with a generous amount of buffalo mozzarella cheese. The Prosciutto e Rucola was upgraded to include homemade boneless ham, generously topped with ham and arugula, making it visually perfect! We also added a soft-boiled egg as an option, creating the ultimate Prosciutto pizza! It was very delicious! Thank you for the meal. Please try it out!

For my mother's birthday celebration, my husband and I visited with our 3-year-old. I thought it was my first time there, but as soon as we went upstairs, I remembered having lunch with a friend during my university days. From the appetizer platter to the main course and dessert, everything was delicious. The timing of the dishes being served was perfect, and the owner was friendly. I would like to try eating in the first floor with the pizza oven next time.

Popular pizza restaurant in Nakatsu. I had been wanting to go there for a while, but never had the chance (^_^;) Finally, I was able to visit with a friend I hadn't seen in a while for lunch. There are seats on the first and second floors, and on the day we went, it was fully booked with reservations. It might be better to make a reservation in advance. We ordered the Pizza Lunch for 1580 yen (assorted appetizers and a choice of pizza from 8 varieties). The appetizers alone seemed like they would fill us up quite a bit. We shared the following pizzas: Margherita - not too acidic, you can really taste the sweetness of the tomatoes. There was plenty of sauce, so we ended up using a spoon halfway through. Quattro Formaggi - the Gorgonzola added just the right touch. The cheese didn't harden even when it cooled, and it was delicious until the last bite. The pizzas were quite large and very filling! I recommend going there on an empty stomach ( ̄Д ̄)ノ Thank you for the meal ★

Christmas limited system where you order a Christmas appetizer platter for 3,000 yen per person, and then separately order one a la carte dish per person. We were a group of 3, so the quota was 3 dishes! We ordered Margherita, Prosciutto e Rucola, and Pork Shoulder Confit. The pizzas were all chewy and really delicious! The Pork Shoulder Confit tasted like roasted pork, with the meat itself infused with flavor but lacking a distinct taste, just like regular pork, and not very tasty. I also had a glass of red wine, but as someone who prefers full-bodied or medium wines, I found it too light and not very enjoyable. The total bill came out to 8,000 yen per person, making it a relatively expensive lunch. I had been curious about this place for a while, so I'm glad I finally got to try it, but I probably won't be going back for a second visit since my expectations were not fully met.

I arrived around 1pm on a regular day and was able to just make it in. Probably because it was right after the first round of customers. I had the pizza lunch for about 1500 yen. Lunch is cash only. The crust is Neapolitan style, but light and fluffy, with a nice texture. The menu seems to be varied and they seem to have a good selection of wines. It's a good pizza place in Fukushima, with delicious food and a user-friendly atmosphere.

About a week before our visit, my friend and I made a reservation and went to the restaurant. We were initially thinking of getting two pizzas because we heard they were delicious, but when I saw the words "Squid Ink Pasta" which I've been really into lately, I decided to get one pizza, one pasta, and a popular appetizer. The appetizer was amazing - colorful and full of various vegetables. The Chitignielli pizza didn't have much saltiness, maybe because it didn't have cheese, but it was easy to eat with a thin crust and delicious anchovies. The crust was also chewy and delicious. I really love Neapolitan pizza! The squid ink pasta had plenty of squid and a rich squid flavor, making me very satisfied. The taste, speed of service, atmosphere of the restaurant, and the friendliness of the staff were all fantastic, and I've found another favorite restaurant. I'm looking forward to trying the Quattro Formaggi next time!

On this day, I attended a concert by Kazuyoshi Saito at the Kyocera Dome! I have been to Koshien Stadium for Carp games many times, but I had never been to the Kyocera Dome, so I was excited to finally go there. So, still feeling the excitement of the concert, I decided to stop by an Italian restaurant near my home for some wine on the way back. 1. The exterior, atmosphere, and interior of the restaurant: About a 5-minute walk from Nakatsu Station. There is an olive tree in front of the shop. The warm light gently spills out. The building has a house-like structure, with counter seats on the first floor. The second floor, with a high ceiling, has several table seats. The perfect blend of a moderate buzz and a sophisticated atmosphere creates a harmonious space. 2. Regarding the food: Below are the dishes we enjoyed while discussing with my companion. "Assorted 10 kinds of appetizers" Vegetables are the main focus, with salami, sausages, and prosciutto, offering 10 different textures and flavors. It was enjoyable, although it was a bit disappointing that all the dishes were cold. "Warm Red Shrimp with Fennel Sauce" The plump large red shrimp has a satisfying texture. The sweetness of the shrimp and the aroma of fennel blend well! It went perfectly with the recommended wine. "Spaghetti with Dried Squid and Karasumi Sauce" The pitch-black sauce, rich with squid ink, is a lump of richness and flavor. The saltiness of the karasumi is just right, and the portion was sufficient. Each dish was carefully crafted to complement the wine, and the balance was great. 3. About the staff's service: The hall was managed by two male staff members. Greetings, seating guidance, and explanations of the dishes were all done well. The wine recommended to pair with the food was also spot on, making the dining experience enjoyable. The payment process was speedy, and there were no particular concerns. 4. About the cost performance: The appetizers and pasta were carefully prepared with flavors that paired well with the wine, but there was no outstanding point that shone through. I slightly regretted not ordering the highly praised pizza. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff's service were pleasant, and overall, the cost performance was average. 5. Other observations: It was a late-night visit, but the restaurant was bustling with all seats filled. It would be advisable to make a reservation when visiting.
