I was amazed. I love lamb and whenever I have the chance, I eagerly dive in and eat it, but the lamb here is exceptional. First of all, as indicated at the entrance, the staff always grill the meat for you. This is done to ensure that you enjoy the restaurant's meat properly and more deliciously. In other words, it's the restaurant's affection. Some might think that the staff at this place are eccentric, but I believe that it is likely run by a couple, both of whom are very sophisticated and skilled at handling customers. They have a clear policy, but they don't force it on customers. Instead, they entertain customers, draw their understanding, and create an atmosphere where customers enjoy the food and appreciate the restaurant. Entertainers. Wonderful. Now, about the lamb, it is so fresh that you can even eat it rare. I personally prefer it lightly grilled. When I first tasted it (!!!), I was amazed. It's incredible. The sauce that comes with it is also excellent. Unlike many Mongolian barbecue sauces that are quite strong to counter the intensity of the meat, this one is not that strong because the meat is pure. So, you can eat it smoothly, like it's melting in your mouth. When they grill it for you at the beginning, they cook it on top of vegetables, like steamed dishes. Perhaps that's why it has such a high affinity with vegetables!! The meat and vegetables are not just complementing each other, they are integrated. This is because the taste of the meat is clean and complete. What a Mongolian barbecue this is!! The meat is so good that it tastes delicious even with just salt and wasabi, salt and garlic, etc. The jar-marinated Mongolian barbecue (flavored) was also delicious, but the top-quality raw lamb was outstanding. The wine they recommended paired very well with the meat, so if you drink wine, be sure to try it. Although it's a bit away from the bustling areas, being a tourist spot and this delicious, customers wouldn't miss it. When I called around 19:00 that day, they said they might have a table available by 20:00. However, when I arrived, the lamb chops were already sold out, and they were also out of lamb tongue. The other meats they had in stock were also delicious, but I wanted to try those as well. So, next time I visit Hakodate, I will make a reservation at this restaurant. I would go to Hakodate just to visit this restaurant, not the other way around. It's exceptional. I wonder why there were no reviews before. I have become a big fan of the restaurant's service as well! Thank you for the meal!
