I stopped by this place on my way back from drinking, recommended by someone. It has a classic old-fashioned town Chinese atmosphere. I think they only had a counter. I ordered the ramen! I thought it would be a soy sauce-based broth, but to my surprise, a clear soup arrived. It's incredibly light but has a taste that grows on you. The daikon radish topping also does a great job! The chashu and noodles were also great. If I ever find myself drinking near Oyafukodori again, I will definitely stop by.

First time trying Tianjin-style fried rice at Yangtze River! The appearance is lovely with plenty of sauce. Amazing! This is no longer Tianjin-style fried rice, but more like mixed rice with sauce. It's white rice mixed with eggs, onions, carrots, shrimp, pork (maybe char siu), and squid? Plus a little bit of green onions. It's like mixed rice with sauce on top. I struggle with the balance of rice and sauce as I eat. So delicious. It's a flavor I really like. I will definitely come back for more! Thank you for the meal.

The ramen is light with minimal oil, but develops depth of flavor later on. The fried rice has various ingredients (char siu, shrimp, octopus, onions) and is delicious. It seems they pay attention to the quality of ingredients and seasonings. It was so good that it's worth going just for the fried rice.

The celebration for ⚪︎⚪︎'s birthday ended at the fifth place as the alcohol started to weaken. This restaurant is better than the popular one, and the dishes were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The light salt soup and thin char siu were delicious! The soup was salty but in a good way, with a rich flavor that made it satisfying to eat. The thin noodles paired perfectly with the salt-based soup. Pouring the ramen soup over the fried rice and eating it was really tasty. And all of this for less than 1000 yen!

On July 26, 2023 (Wednesday) at noon, "Yangtze River Ramen Meimon" located near Senmachi Station, Nakazakicho Station, Higashi-Umeda Station, and Umeda Station. Ramen/Chinese cuisine. Price: ¥950 for Char Siu Wonton Men. I tried this famous place, but the ramen had a light taste with not much flavor. The noodles and soup didn't really blend well, and it wasn't satisfying. It wasn't bad, but definitely not delicious. The portion was small, with thin slices of char siu and only 3 small wontons. It's not worth going out of your way to try this ramen. No additional toppings available. I visited around 9pm on a regular weekday night. There were about 3 customers. I stopped by for a drink and tried their simple, unchanged taste. The topping was changed to kaiware instead of kikuna. It was just the right ramen to have after drinking without overeating.

From the morning, the sound of cicadas filled the air, marking the peak of summer on a Saturday. I had some errands to run and headed to Umeda. The Whity Umeda was bustling with people before noon. I had actually been drinking in this area last night as well. I decided to grab lunch above ground. I arrived at a place that opened at 12 o'clock, with a few guests eagerly waiting outside. I sat at the counter on the first floor facing front. I had already decided what to order after looking at the sign outside.
- B Set Meal: 950 yen
This set included fried rice and wonton soup. The "A" option was ramen with rice and a chicken bone set. It said fried rice, but it looked more like chahan (a type of fried rice). Perhaps it's the restaurant's specialty or there's a difference between fried rice and chahan. The fried rice was made with onions, leeks, carrots, shrimp, and roast pork, with the onions standing out the most. It was delicious with its oily and rich flavor, the eggs mixed in just right. The roast pork added a nice texture and was very tasty. The wonton soup had a hint of Chinese herbal aroma, and the wontons themselves were smooth and juicy. It was also very delicious.
There were two girls speaking Chinese and the chef, who might be from the mainland, efficiently preparing the orders for other guests. Although it's a ramen shop, they also offer side dishes like "Tianjin rice," dumplings, and chicken bone noodles. Given its location, it's definitely a great place for a final drink. Thank you for the meal.

The salt ramen at Yangtze River is a great value for money! I suddenly felt like having it, so I went there after a long time. On this day, I ordered wonton noodles, fried rice, and dumplings. The wonton noodles were light and easy to eat for ramen, the fried rice had plenty of ingredients and a good balance of flavors, and the dumplings had a crispy texture and juicy meat filling, making them very delicious!

If you come to Osaka, be sure to visit "Yangtze River Ramen Meimon" in Nakazaki-cho. The ramen here is light and easy to eat even after drinking. I ordered the wonton noodles, and the clear soup has a gentle and deep flavor that pairs perfectly with the spring cabbage. The noodles are thin and slide smoothly. The fried rice is full of ingredients and has a rich flavor with a good amount of pepper, stimulating the appetite. This ramen is sure to become addictive as a post-drinking meal. It was a feast.

Yoshino River has been dominating the Osaka ramen scene for over 30 years. Their signature light broth and thin, soft noodles have many loyal fans. It's perfect for a late-night meal after drinking. The noodles come in a piping hot bowl, which is their unique touch. This shop is open until 5 am, making it a great option for those looking for a meal in the early hours of the morning.

I'm in Osaka. In the Kita area, Umeda, there is a place called Doyamacho. Right after coming out of a building filled with gay bars, girls bars, and con cafes, I found this restaurant. Despite feeling no motivation, I headed straight to the restaurant while hearing the monotonous calls of the girls bar touts behind me. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I remembered my last disappointing experience and vowed never to return. But my friend was with me, so I couldn't back out. I sat at the empty counter and ordered a bottled beer almost on reflex. I also ordered two bowls of wonton noodles. The bottled beer was served quickly and was ice-cold, making even Kaiji surprised. Despite already feeling quite drunk, I couldn't resist and made a toast with the small glass. I quickly finished the first bottle and ordered a second one. At the same time, the wonton noodles arrived. Unlike my last visit three years ago when the soup was lukewarm and the wontons were dry, this time everything was delicious. The wontons were soft and fluffy, the choy sum was fresh and fragrant, and the noodles, although slightly soft, were still delicious. If you're looking for a place to drink and have ramen as a finishing touch in Kita, this place is definitely worth considering. I wonder what went wrong during my last visit?

Visited after the first stop of day drinking. Around 3 pm with no other customers at first, but it quickly filled up. Ordered beer, gyoza, fried rice, and ramen. All were perfect for finishing off the drinks. Even though I ordered beer, the ramen was the real highlight. The clear soup, slightly translucent noodles, and chrysanthemum greens were an amazing combination. I want to praise the creator. Left the restaurant feeling satisfied and headed to the third spot. Will definitely go back.

I ended up being really late and tired. I decided to have some soul food that comforts my brain. I've been eating at Yangtze River since middle school. It's crowded today, but the turnover is fast so I feel relieved. I ordered the char siu ramen and... even though I've been coming here for 30 years, it's my first time trying the fried rice! It has a strong flavor of oil and seasoning, and it's cooked with a strong technique. It's delicious! But having ramen and fried rice alone is tough. The joy of having someone else there is real. Did the middle school me ever think I would be eating ramen and fried rice with my future wife?

Umeda's deepest area, isn't it!?! Doyamacho! A long-established shop in Higashi-dori Shotengai!! The clear soup is refreshing and soothing for a stomach that has been through a night of drinking! Oh... I didn't drink though... I ordered the wonton ramen!! Some people might have their preferences, but the "shungiku" (garland chrysanthemum) on top is amazing!! I wanted to get the large serving!! Roll up the chashu and enjoy it, slurping the noodles is the best!! I finished the soup too!! Thank you for the meal!! Oh! I also love these big plates like this!

During my student days and when I was a new employee, I often visited this place. It had been decades since I last went to Yangtze River Ramen. The soup is perfect for finishing off a night of drinking. Back then, there weren't as many soup options as there are now. It was a rainy Friday night around 10 o'clock, so it wasn't too crowded. I ordered the regular ramen. Ah, yes, this is it! The ramen with roughly placed chrysanthemum greens. The soup is salty, right? The noodles are thin and have a high water content, making them soft and easy on the stomach. It was a nostalgic taste.

I had cloud ear mushroom ramen and gyoza. The Chinese restaurant with the red tables has delicious food. The ramen is light and can be easily eaten even late at night. The gyoza has a strong flavor, so it seems to go well with beer!

I finally went to try out Yangtze River Ramen, which I've always wanted to visit. Even though I had already eaten, I was still hungry and decided to come here for a finishing touch. I've been curious about the "Yangtze River Skosuko Ramen" from the comedy duo Waraimeshi for years... (laughs) It's surprisingly light and delicious. I'd love to come back for lunch next time!

We started drinking from 5:00 PM and decided to go for ramen at the fourth place we visited. It was my first time at this place. I ordered the Chashu Ramen since that's what most places offer. The ramen had chrysanthemum on top, which was unusual. We also had gyoza, 4 beers, and 3 ramen bowls, and all three of us were full. We didn't have any prior knowledge about this place, so my honest impression is that the noodles were like somen and the soup was light. We didn't see the staff's smile. It may appeal to those who like this style. Thank you for having us.

It's been a while since I had Yangtze River Ramen. Being in this area, it felt like a good choice for a late-night meal after a few drinks. Tonight, I'm trying it out sober. The soup is clear, with watercress adding a nice touch to the most standard ramen priced at 850 yen. I think it used to have chrysanthemum greens instead of watercress? The watercress is crunchy and adds a nice texture, making it delicious in its own way. This place is popular, but the turnover is good so I think it should be fine to get a seat.
