On Friday at 1:00 pm, I went to "Ginpei" in Kitashinchi. It had been a while since my last visit. I ordered the lunch set meal (1,320 yen) and chose the "simmered fish set meal". It arrived in just 3 minutes. The dish came with three large pieces of simmered sea bream collar. It was quite a generous portion. I took a bite and it was delicious! The unique thing about this place is that they simmer the fish with only soy sauce and water. This simmered fish is honestly my favorite. The flavor is not too strong, but the fish has absorbed the simmered broth well. What's even better is that you can have unlimited refills of rice, miso soup, pickles, and raw egg. Of course, I had seconds of the hearty miso soup. And finally, I had a refill of rice and made myself some egg over rice. The fact that they offer unlimited eggs is truly appreciated. This kind of effort from the restaurant makes me want to support them. I'm the type who can't be satisfied until I eat every last bit of the fish, even if it has many bones, so it took me quite a while to finish my meal. The balance of taste, portion size, and price is top-notch. Despite being located in Kitashinchi, it offers the best cost performance for lunch. Thank you for the meal.

Boiled fish set meal for 1,320 yen. When you order, they immediately serve pickled Chinese cabbage, which some fans like to get refills of. Then, rice and a hearty vegetable soup are brought out, along with the option to add a raw egg. At this point, the set meal is pretty much complete. Finally, the main dish of boiled fish head arrives. The rice is delicious, the soup is piping hot, and enjoying a happy time while picking at the pickled cabbage and boiled fish is a delight. The edible portion of the boiled fish may not be much, but the other items make up for it. With this location, this content, and this price, it's a great value. It's been a year since I last came, but if this place were near my home, I'd come every week. On Saturday at 1:30 PM, there was no waiting for sashimi, tempura, or seafood bowl as they were not sold out.

My husband and I enjoyed a dinner party in Kita-Shinchi, ordering an 8000 yen course of sea bream rice and enjoying about four types of sake. The service and food were good, but I felt that the way the wasabi was presented with the sashimi lacked elegance, and I noticed that many of the dishes were chipped. It may be because it's reasonably priced in Kita-Shinchi, but it was a bit disappointing.

About 15 minutes from Umeda Station, past Kita-Shinchi towards Nakanoshima. Couldn't make a reservation at the Grand Front store so booked here instead. Ordered a la carte as usual. The sea bream rice is said to be a specialty, so we ordered 3 servings for 5 people as a finale. The sashimi was all delicious, but the charcoal-grilled dishes stuck too much to the grill (maybe not grilled properly?). The conger eel tempura was also delicious. Couldn't order the simmered fish, so looking forward to trying it next time.

I had the 10,000 yen course with all-you-can-drink at a semi-private room at Taimeshi. It's a good place to boldly enjoy seafood. Personally, I prefer more delicate dishes and it's disappointing that there is only one choice for sake and shochu in the all-you-can-drink menu. The salt-grilled tilefish was very delicious.

I visited for lunch and ordered the grilled fish set meal. Whenever I crave fish, I always come to Ginpei. They serve fresh fish directly from Wakayama and Kochi, so you can enjoy the best quality seafood. They offer seasonal seafood dishes like sashimi and seafood bowls. You can also have unlimited refills of miso soup and pickles with the set meal.

Sometimes I crave the pickles here. The lunch set is a bit pricey for lunch, but it comes with unlimited rice, miso soup, pickles, and raw egg. The fish is delicious! The pickled cabbage is incredibly tasty, it goes well with rice! This time, I had the grilled fish set since they didn't have sashimi available. It included grilled mackerel and salmon belly, both were delicious! Personally, I recommend the sashimi if available. The simmered fish may seem overwhelming in size. I recommend it when you want to eat until you're full!

I have been to the Kitashinchi store many times, and the specialty "sea bream rice" is always my go-to dish. The restaurant is spacious and busy, so it lacks a quiet atmosphere, but the service from the staff is good and not bad. However, the key in the men's restroom has been difficult to open and close for several years, and I hope they improve this.

I went to this restaurant for a Japanese dinner on a whim. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered something light. For drinks, I had green tea (380 yen) and my wife had a glass of cold sake from Hiroshima, "Houken" (1,320 yen). The appetizers included fig and corn with sesame dressing, fried potatoes, half-cooked egg with grated yam and eggplant in a sticky sauce. For the main dishes, we had a sashimi platter with premium selection (4,400 yen) and a grilled wagyu beef salad (2,200 yen), which was my favorite. We also had two steamed rock oysters (2,200 yen). Even though we didn't order much, we ended up feeling full. Getting older is tough. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

We visited the restaurant with 7 people. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised that everything was delicious. The sashimi was aged and full of flavor, a level that is not easy to find in Osaka. The sea bream rice was also delicious and everyone was satisfied, but the only downside was that the dishes came out slowly even though it was a course menu. Nevertheless, it was a delicious experience that made me want to visit again.

Visited the restaurant before 6:00 pm with a reservation. It's recommended to make a reservation, as it may vary depending on the day. The dishes served that day included grilled eggplant, prosciutto and corn sushi, and conger eel sushi. For sashimi, there were bonito, tuna, sea bream, and amberjack. The appetizers included hot spring tofu, squid salad, and red snapper head tempura. The red snapper rice dish was also served. The service at the banquet was starting to get busier, causing delays in serving and taking drink orders. Despite the busy atmosphere, the quality of the ingredients and cooking was top-notch, as expected from Chef Ginpei. The food was delicious and there were no mistakes. This restaurant is definitely one of the top choices in Shinchi.

Due to feeling fatigued and having my daily routine disrupted, I decided to have this meal. It's called miso soup, but it's actually a hearty pork soup with plenty of root vegetables. It's the kind of meal that will give you energy! It comes with half a salt-grilled mackerel and a piece of salmon belly. You can have seconds of rice, miso soup, pickled Chinese cabbage, and egg. It's perfect for those who can eat a lot of rice! Grilled fish set meal. After eating it heartily, I feel revived.

It's about a 5-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station, with a high rating of 3.58 on Tabelog. I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. Their specialty is seafood, as indicated by the sign "Fish Master". The interior of the restaurant seemed spacious and not too crowded. For lunch, they offer 5 options: sashimi, simmered fish, grilled fish, tempura, and seafood bowl, all priced at 1,320 yen each. This time, I chose the "Simmered Fish Set". The simmered fish that day was the head and collar of sea bream, served on a large plate. The restaurant only uses soy sauce and water to cook the fish, resulting in a relatively mild flavor (but still delicious). If you're worried that it might not be flavorful enough, fear not! You can get seconds of egg, miso soup, and pickles, and the rice is cooked in a traditional kettle. Although 1,320 yen might seem a bit pricey, the quality and quantity make it worth it. I would definitely come back when I'm hungry. Rice lovers, make sure to visit this place. Thank you for the meal.

I was able to enjoy the food very much. It feels like a good izakaya with fish as its specialty. The sashimi was also delicious. The seasoning of the simmered dish was definitely a highlight. I was able to enjoy it very much. In terms of the food, I think the taste is satisfactory and worth the price. The location may be busy so it's understandable, but there is room for improvement in the service. Dining is not only about filling your stomach but also about sharing important time with others.

If you want to eat delicious fish in Kitashinchi, this is the place to go. This popular restaurant has long lines during weekday lunch hours. The "simmered fish set meal" includes pickles and miso soup for 1,320 yen. The large plate features a simmered head of sea bream, cooked only with soy sauce and the natural flavor of the fish without any unnecessary seasonings. It is fresh and has no fishy smell. The simmering broth is just right, not too strong or too light. Although the fish head has many bones, there are also many delicious parts to enjoy, making it like a treasure hunt as you carefully pick out the meat. The rice cooked in a pot has a good texture, and you can have seconds. In these times, it's a delight that raw eggs are all-you-can-eat. I finished with a Tamago Kake Gohan (raw egg over rice) and left feeling satisfied. It was delicious, thank you for the meal. Instagram: @masayan.310

When it comes to restaurants where you can enjoy delicious fish during lunchtime, this place is a must-visit! I visited the North Shinchi branch for the first time in 9 years. As always, they offer unlimited refills of rice cooked in a pot, pickles, miso soup, and raw eggs. This time, I had the "Sashimi Set Meal (tax included 1,320 yen)." Compared to last time, the price has gone up by 320 yen. The meal arrived 4-5 minutes after ordering. It included nostalgic pickled Chinese cabbage, a hearty pork miso soup, sashimi with a generous portion, and shiny rice. The pork miso soup was hot and full of ingredients, so I couldn't help but have seconds (laughs). The sashimi included tuna, amberjack, and sea bream, all of which were fresh and thick, providing a satisfying texture. The first serving of rice was not as shiny as I expected, which was a bit disappointing, but the second serving was still glistening. I enjoyed the pickled Chinese cabbage and even turned it into a TKG (raw egg over rice) to finish it off. Although it may be a bit pricey for office workers, the lunch here is reliable. This is a go-to option for those struggling to decide on where to eat lunch.

Due to work, I went to Kitashinchi. A friend made a reservation for a course for us. The atmosphere was average. The food was also average. Occasionally, chipped plates were brought out. It was a fun gathering with friends I hadn't seen in a while, so I was able to enjoy delicious drinks. Thank you for the good meal.

This is the first floor of a mixed-use building in the southern block of Dojima Avanza. I checked the menu on the website and made a reservation for a private room. The course included seafood dishes with taimeshi as the finale, along with all-you-can-drink options. The restaurant is spacious and caters to a diverse range of customers. There are plenty of private rooms, making it great for adult gatherings. The course dishes are served at the right timing and are delicious, focusing on seafood. The all-you-can-drink options include beer, highballs, and sours. There are many staff members who move efficiently. In Kita-Shinchi, you can enjoy delicious seafood with transparent billing.

I made a same-day reservation and visited with 2 people at the counter. When I entered, I was delighted by the cheerful greeting from the staff. I was surprised to learn that bottled beer, shochu, and hot sake were complimentary! All the food was delicious and the drinks went down very well! If I have the chance to visit the area again, I will definitely come back! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The restaurant advertised half-price fish for customers who arrived after 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday, but it didn't seem to be half-price when I checked the bill. The bill was vague and didn't provide a detailed breakdown, so I couldn't confirm. In March, there was a noisy party next to us, which seemed to be a farewell or welcome party. The highball glass was smaller than usual, filled with ice, but only poured up to 8% of the glass, so the actual amount was probably less than a cup of pudding. The food was average and didn't offer great value for the price. The fish rice, which is a specialty, was not served, and instead, shrimp sushi was unexpectedly brought as an appetizer. The squid salad was delicious, with other sashimi scraps mixed in. The premium sashimi was mostly scraps, making me wonder if it was also half-price. The swordfish sashimi even had holes in it, which was surprising because I have never seen sashimi with holes before, even at casual izakayas. I have visited other Ginpei locations before, but I have never experienced these issues. I will try a different Ginpei next time.
