It seems like there are no other dining options nearby on Sundays, so this place is the only choice! The set menu from 11am to 3pm is particularly eye-catching and a great deal. The lunch set is priced at 850 yen. It's a no-frills menu with the classic combination of ramen and fried rice, both in a soy sauce flavor. The fried rice has firm grains and is flavored with the ramen soup, giving it a strong punch. The accompanying fried chicken is also well-cooked and delicious. The ramen itself is also good, with a bold soy sauce flavor and a rich broth with visible pork fat. It's a hearty and impactful dish that doesn't hold back on the soy sauce spiciness. This ramen has been featured in the Meets Regional magazine, combining the characteristics of two regional ramen styles. It's not just about nostalgia for Showa-era flavors, but also has its own unique charm. Overall, it's a delicious and memorable bowl of ramen.

It was full when I arrived at 12:45, but luckily found a spot after circling around once. I ordered the lunch set A for ¥1000, which included Chinese noodles, half fried rice, 2 mini fried chicken, and changed the noodles to kashiwa soba for an additional ¥100. Total cost was ¥4500. This time, I chose kashiwa soba which allows you to select noodle firmness but not the amount of green onions or lard (since lard is not originally included). The soup was salty but the chicken base was nice, not overpowering with chicken oil. The more you chew, the better it tastes! The noodles were firm, probably due to low hydration, which is fine even with the default setting. The fried rice was reminiscent of Shinfuku, likely using the same seasoning as the Chinese noodles (not too salty). And they even included 2 pieces of fried chicken... all for this price?! Next time, I'll try the Chinese fried noodles and Showa set (gyoza) (already tried the Tiger at the Noda branch).

I had some business at JR Tsurugaoi Station in Higashi Sumiyoshi Ward and decided to stop by Kochira for lunch after getting off at Asuharabashi Station on the loop line. It was lunchtime, so I had to wait for about 20-30 minutes before being seated. Inside the restaurant, besides the customers, the Chinese staff members were chatting in their native language, and their Japanese was quite good, even when taking orders. I ordered ramen with extra green onions and extra pork fat, and it tasted similar to the type of soy sauce ramen that used to be popular in the past, so I was satisfied with it. However, the fried rice was a bit dry. It turned out that they had forgotten to prepare the ramen as part of the set, and it was only after being reminded by one of the Chinese staff members that they made it, so there was a delay of about 7-8 minutes in serving the half portion of fried rice. #Lunch Set A for 1000 yen

I arrived at the restaurant right at 3:00, the end of lunchtime, but they welcomed me warmly. They even took care of customers who arrived about 20 minutes later, showing how friendly they are towards customers. The Chinese noodles had soup that coated the noodles well, and the chashu was delicious. The fried rice was perfect for me, as I like strong flavors. Since my office is nearby, I will definitely go back again.

While browsing through the timeline on Tabelog, I discovered that a restaurant I had been curious about was open even late at night. I arrived past midnight and the place was almost full. I was interested in trying the fried rice and dumplings, but I couldn't eat that much, so I ordered the set meal with ramen and fried rice. I could choose the firmness of the noodles, the amount of lard, and the amount of green onions. I ordered firm noodles, extra lard, and extra green onions. It took about 15 minutes for my order to arrive, possibly because it was crowded. When it was brought to me, it looked just like I had checked beforehand. The ramen was soy sauce flavored with plenty of lard, and the chashu was thickly sliced with no fatty parts. There were a few bamboo shoots and a few green onions. I had ordered extra green onions, so a separate serving arrived as well. The fried rice had a soy sauce flavor and was a bit too voluminous for late at night. I regretted not ordering a half portion, but the ramen was rich in lard and soy sauce yet light, and I finished it all. Next time, I'll try the dumplings. I finally went to this place that I've been curious about ✌️ I don't usually eat soy sauce ramen, but the one here was delicious. It made me really thirsty though. At around 3 pm, despite the odd timing, customers kept coming in one after another at Chuka Soba Fujiya's Ashihara Hashimoto branch. I ordered a bowl of ramen with half fried rice and 3 pieces of fried chicken. The ramen was based on a nostalgic old-school flavor with added richness, and the noodles were slightly firm straight noodles, which I personally like. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the Lunch Set A, which includes Chinese noodles, fried rice, and fried chicken. The Chinese noodles were also of a high standard, giving off a feeling of a reputable restaurant. The dinner menu was quite limited, but each dish was very delicious, so I would like to visit again in the evening.

Ashihara Bridge "Chuka Soba Fujii Ashihara Bridge Main Store" Recommended Chuka Soba and Half Fried Rice + 2 pieces of Karaage for 1000 yen. The back fat soy sauce ramen is firm with plenty of green onions and back fat. It has a strong caramel soy sauce flavor that is delicious. The extra green onions are served on a separate plate for added crunchiness. The fried rice is rich and also delicious. Looking around, 90% of the customers are men.

Fujii is a famous restaurant for Chuka soba! It was my first visit based on my husband's recommendation. We arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was not crowded, so we were seated right away. We drove there and were relieved to find a parking lot with space for 3 cars next to the restaurant! My husband suggested I try the Kashiwa soba (990 yen), which is made with chicken, instead of the regular Chuka soba. Apparently, the flavor is quite different due to the chicken oil used in the broth. As a fan of chicken oil, I decided to go with the Kashiwa soba! The Chuka soup was rich and the noodles were straight. The toppings were simple - chicken, green onions, and bamboo shoots. The straight noodles blended well with the soup and were delicious! The chicken added a lot of umami flavor, giving it a strong Chuka soba taste that I love! It felt like they were trying to recreate the nostalgic Chuka soba from the Showa era, but with an ultimate umami flavor. It was the best Chuka soba I have ever had! Even adding powdered garlic made it taste even better! The soup, despite being rich, was so good that I wanted to drink it all. It left a great impression and was the most delicious Chuka soba I have ever tasted! Thank you for the meal! I would love to come back again!

I visited around 2 pm in the afternoon. It was nice to have a parking lot. I had lunch set B, which included Chinese noodles, rice, and 4 pieces of fried chicken. The appearance of the Chinese noodles was traditional. The soup had a strong soy sauce base with a rich flavor, and it paired perfectly with the rice. The noodles themselves were delicious with a perfect firmness.

I am "Noronori" who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. The fact that there is a parking lot is appreciated. There were table seats, but since I am alone, I sat at the counter seat. The umami spicy ramen "Tiger" was delicious. It's a unique pleasure of midsummer to sweat while eating spicy food on a hot day. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the Senichimae branch about 7 years ago, but this was my first time at the main branch. It's basically just regular Chinese noodles, but for us Kansai people, we prefer it on the lighter side. I think many people end up not enjoying it because they don't ask for it to be lighter. Ramen in Okayama, whether eaten locally or elsewhere, tends to be very soy sauce-heavy and spicy. I finished it without any particular highlights. The all-you-can-eat rice service is a nice touch for those with big appetites. Thank you for the meal.

There are many places with delicious classic Chinese noodles lately, and this place is no exception. The flavor here is strong, with a good amount of chicken oil and back fat, giving it a rich taste. The serving time was 5 minutes. The set was quite a deal at 1,000 yen, even though there may have been a price increase. Now, let's try the soup. It was rich with chicken oil and fat, but when you take a sip, you can taste the rich flavor of chicken broth. The strong seasoning follows after that. Simple but delicious. The fat was in minced form floating on top, which was nice. It reminded me of the fat floating in red miso soup at a tonkatsu restaurant. The noodles were the classic type for Chukasoba, firm and yellow. There was a generous amount, so I enjoyed it without worrying about the balance of the meal. The chashu and menma were a stable and delicious match for the Chukasoba. The fried rice in the set was good!! Fluffy and each grain of rice was coated with oil. The slightly strong soy sauce flavor was very satisfying. The fried chicken was small but tasty. This set is perfect for when you want to indulge in Chukasoba with fried rice and eat heartily! It came with ramen, half fried rice, and 2 pieces of fried chicken. Was it always like this? The ramen and fried rice were very flavorful, but I'm not a fan of strong flavors so I couldn't finish them. The ramen was so strong that I had to drink a lot of water. The staff were all foreigners. I thought maybe there was a manager or someone in charge who changed the seasoning. Despite that, the restaurant was still full with people waiting even after 1 pm. I lined up a bit during lunchtime and entered the restaurant. I was surprised when I entered! There were no Japanese staff and no one in the kitchen. Is that normal? Are they all part-time workers? Everyone seemed to be having fun, chatting in an unknown language, but is it okay? I suddenly started feeling anxious. Well, I guess it's fine. I ordered ramen, fried rice, and two pieces of fried chicken. The food came out quickly! They asked me in simple Japanese about the amount of lard and the hardness of the noodles, but they probably ignored it all. The ramen, fried rice, and fried chicken were all very heavily seasoned! It was as strong as Yokohama-style ramen! It was too much for me. I don't know if this is the original taste or if it was just because there were only part-time workers that day. I feel like my legs might cramp up tomorrow. Thank you for the meal!
