☆彡This soba restaurant in Nishitenma grinds soba flour with a stone mill inside the store. The stone mill is automated, so the soba flour is ground to the right fineness automatically. It's fun just to watch it in action. During weekday lunchtime, the restaurant is always full as it is a popular spot. They offer a variety of lunch sets, and the daily rice bowl and soba combination is priced at 1,000 yen. Other options include rice and maguro bowl sets, but the variety of soba combinations makes choosing enjoyable. My preference is the warm chicken nanban soba. I was surprised when the maguro bowl and chicken nanban set (1,400 yen) was served in a bowl filled with plenty of chicken and green onions, and a generous amount of broth. The service spirit of the restaurant is welcoming, and the soba has a firm texture and satisfying chewiness. The lunch soba is a bit more expensive than the maguro bowl, but it comes with some sinew in the maguro, which is not bothersome. The marination level is just right and goes well with the white rice. After finishing the rice and soba, I was fully satisfied and delighted with the variety of combinations offered. West Temma's popular soba restaurant "Wato". Arrived at 11:45, wow, 2 groups waiting. About 10 counter seats, maybe 3 tables for 2 people? Seated in about 10 minutes. There is a basket for belongings under the chair, but it's better to travel light. ★Daily lunch with mushroom tororo soba (hot/cold) & tuna bowl for 1000 yen including tax. Before looking at the sign, I thought it would be 1500 yen for tororo soba and tuna bowl, but I was drawn to the set of tuna bowl for 1000 yen, so I went with the daily special. This place is known not only for soba but also for the tuna bowl. Arrived in about 5 minutes. Plenty of tororo with large mushrooms and okra, thick soba noodles. And a thick tuna bowl! Huh? Octopus and cucumber vinegar dish too~♪ The soba is a simple soba that feels close to 100% soba. It's easy to eat with the tororo that I love. They also bring soba water after you finish eating. The light tuna bowl is good for summer. The octopus dish with a strong vinegar taste is also delicious. I drank the soba water instead of soup and I'm full. Customers keep coming in one after another. There are a lot of orders for the daily special. If you are interested in the restaurant, please save the restaurant from this post (^-^)

Arrived before 1:00 PM. The restaurant has 9 counter seats and 3 tables, and it was fully packed. There were 2 groups waiting outside. Waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. After 1:00 PM, there were no more people waiting outside, but there were still some empty seats. They have a monthly special menu in addition to their regular menu. It's recommended to visit early as the special menu items may sell out. The daily specials were mushroom soba and tuna bowl. The specials were priced at around 1000 yen, which is a generous discount from their usual 1500 yen price. I ordered the daily special cold soba. It arrived in less than 10 minutes. It came with dried daikon radish and pickled Chinese cabbage. The dipping sauce, green onions, and wasabi were served separately. The main soba dish included yam, okra, fish cake, and plenty of shimeji mushrooms. The amount of shimeji mushrooms was impressive. The soba noodles were slightly firm and had a strong flavor, not overpowered by the sticky ingredients. It was a robust soba dish. I haven't come across a soba like this in Osaka. Although it has a different style from the nearby famous soba restaurants, I believe it is just as delicious. Even the soba broth served at the end was flavorful. This restaurant seems to be a hidden gem frequented by regulars.

I visited the soba restaurant "Kurobiki Soba Watoyo" that I've been curious about for a while after seeing someone's post about their sudachi soba. They also have a maguro bowl! I was debating between that and the chirimen rice, but luckily they had a set where you can choose white rice, chirimen rice, or maguro bowl. I chose the maguro bowl! The dashi was so comforting and the price was reasonable at 1,500 yen for such a generous portion. I also want to try the duck tomato zaru soba and the mountain wasabi zaru soba next time. Had lunch at Wato in Nishinotoin. Ordered the zaru soba and maguro don set. The zaru soba was a bit on the thicker side, with a darker color and a rustic taste. The noodles were quite thick, making it a hearty meal to enjoy. The soba sauce was on the sweeter side, typical of Kansai style. The maguro don was average. Finished off with soba broth. Thank you for the meal.

"Kamotomato. Tuna bowl. The cold soba noodles seem to be more popular, but the warm soba broth was incredibly delicious from the first bite. I usually don't drink much broth from ramen, but the broth here was so good that I wanted to keep drinking it. I arrived at 2 pm and it was full, but no one came in after that, so it seems easier to get in after lunchtime. I want to go again."

Visited with a friend at the end of the year. We love oysters, so we went for the limited-time oyster soba. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet and sophisticated, with jazz music playing. Although it's a soba restaurant, they also offer a variety of dishes like sashimi and fried foods that go well with alcohol. They had a great selection of local sake as well. Everything was delicious, and we ended up ordering too much. By the time we got to the final soba dish, our stomachs were already full, but we still managed to enjoy the oyster soba! The oysters were plump and plentiful, and it was so tasty. The staff were also calm and polite, leaving us with a good impression. Definitely a place I would like to visit again!

I visited a popular soba restaurant in the highly competitive area of Nishi-Temma for lunch. Even though it was off-peak hours, the restaurant was packed with salarymen. The gentle broth was very impressive! They also offer great value sets with rice, which left me very satisfied. I wonder if it's less crowded on weekends?

At 2:30 PM on Saturday, I went to "Wato" at Naniwa Bridge. The restaurant has a counter with 9 seats and 3 two-person table seats, all in a Japanese setting with jazz music playing. I ordered the "Torinamba Soba" dish for 1,100 yen. It arrived in 5 minutes and was delicious. The broth had a slight sweetness with the rich flavor of chicken fat, and a subtle fragrance of yuzu. It was topped with green onions, fish cake, seaweed, and tender chicken with skin. The soba itself had a great texture. Overall, it was a high-quality meal. I found a great restaurant. The high temperature is 35℃ today, so I decided to have a quick and refreshing soba lunch. I visited a restaurant that I had been curious about, and although it was crowded and we had to wait for about 5 minutes, we were seated at a table and ordered the cold sudachi soba. The dish arrived in about 15 minutes, and it was filled with clear broth and lots of sudachi flavor. The first sip of the soup was so refreshing that it instantly made me forget about the 35℃ heat outside. The soba noodles were thick, which may be a matter of personal preference. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

West Temma. Located on the north side of the courthouse, along Osamatsu Street, is a soba restaurant called Wato. At night, it is very convenient as a soba izakaya. The restaurant mainly has a counter and tables for two people. If there were also tables for four people, it would become an even more desirable place to visit. The sashimi platter includes sea bream, yellowtail, tuna, and medium fatty tuna, all with thick slices and generous portions. The braised beef tendon and grilled ginkgo nuts also come in generous portions. The sake keeps flowing. Finally, the meal is finished with duck dipping soba, made with high-quality noodles that are fragrant and have a good texture. The portions are generous overall. After enjoying food and drinks, the bill comes out to less than 5000 yen per person. The portions are generous, the ingredients are of good quality, and the soba is excellent. It's a great value. It's a great restaurant. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but I will definitely go back.

I went after a long time, but it was still delicious. It's so nice that you can eat this for only 1,200 yen (lol). As it's getting colder, warm soba with plenty of duck flavor, along with rice and side dishes, made for the perfect lunch where you can eat without any reservations.

I visited after a long time. The atmosphere of the shop is nice, and I'm happy with the substantial serving at the soba restaurant. Even if it's delicious, if you're served a refined amount at lunch, you won't have enough energy for the afternoon. Good balance. I thought it was still a good restaurant. I understand why it's always crowded at lunchtime.

I visited around 11:30 on a weekday. The place was almost full, but luckily there was one seat available at the counter so I could sit right away. I was debating between the weekday lunch for ¥980 and the tuna bowl with soba noodles set for ¥1200... I ordered the latter. The soba noodles were thick and delicious, although I prefer thinner noodles. The tuna bowl was mini-sized but had plenty of tuna, so it was a good deal. Next time, I'll try the soba noodles with sudachi citrus. Thank you for the meal.
