On June 24, 2023, my wife said she wanted to eat yakiniku, so we came to Tokusu. We arrived at 6:45 PM and there were four groups waiting in front of us. Maybe we came a little early? The meat at Tokusu is delicious, but I especially like the taste of the sauce. The stone pot bibimbap is also delicious.

I have used this restaurant many times and I'm grateful that they serve lunch on weekends too. I always go for the reliable Yakiniku Tokusu set, which includes Kalbi and Sagari. The price has gone up a bit, but this time I also got dessert and coffee, so I'm very satisfied.

Around 1 pm on a regular day. It's been a while since I last visited, probably around 10 years. The atmosphere inside the restaurant has become more relaxed. There were a decent number of customers. I ordered the Spicy Sundubu Jjigae set for 1122 yen, which came with rice, kimchi, and three side dishes. I chose the level 4 spiciness, which was very spicy. The portion of rice was small. The lunch drink was a good deal, so I had it before my meal. The menu had a lot of options and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. The food was delicious overall. If you like spicy food, level 4 might not be enough. I added some extra spicy seasoning, but it was too late. They also sell trendy cakes, which looked tempting. Overall, it's a nice restaurant to visit if you don't have any other plans. Thank you for the meal!

I had a hot summer day along the Nishiyama-dori, and I decided to have lunch at Tokuju for their stone-grilled bibimbap. The lunchtime was quiet around 1 pm, and they offer a wide variety of menu options. I chose the "stone-grilled bibimbap with plenty of green onions and dried small fish set" from the three types of bibimbap available. Before the meal, I had black oolong tea for 120 yen. Be careful as the stone pot is very hot! I mixed in the spicy seasoning and enjoyed the crispy burnt rice with plenty of seaweed, dried small fish, and green onions. It was light and healthy. The refreshing daikon radish salad with two types of dressing, a small portion of pickles, and the delicious wakame seaweed soup complemented the meal perfectly. Despite its simplicity, the food was incredibly delicious, showcasing Tokuju's consistent quality. Next time, I'll try their grilled meat. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I usually go to Tokusu for lunch. I love their Kalbi Ramen, it's delicious! I can choose the level of spiciness, and I like it at level 3 or 4. Sometimes I also get their takeout grilled meat bento, which is also delicious. Today, I went out for grilled meat for the first time in a while. I splurged and ordered a lot (my husband was surprised). Aged meat is so delicious! I ate so much that I feel like I won't need meat for a while. I'm completely satisfied.

Located near JR Teine Station in the Teine area, this chain restaurant specializes in yakiniku along Shoten Street. The restaurant has a large shared parking space, making it convenient for customers. I visited on a Saturday evening, and the place was packed with families and other customers. After a 30-minute wait, we were seated at our table. The yakiniku is cooked on a smokeless roaster at the table, but there may be some lingering smell on your clothes. They offer individual yakiniku options as well as family-friendly set menus. We opted for quality over quantity, choosing the Dinner Set A (¥3,000) and Dinner Set B (¥2,200) to share between the two of us, along with an additional order of Mixed Hormone (salted, ¥830). Dinner Set A included four types of meat, while Dinner Set B had three types. Both sets came with namul, kimchi, salad, rice, and soup. The Mixed Hormone had a slight odor, but all the meats were high quality and delicious, making the price feel worth it. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the turnover was quick, making it a good spot for when you're craving yakiniku.

I really like the lunch at Tokuju because it is reasonably priced. They also serve lunch on weekends until 4 pm, so I recommend it. My son always orders the aged mixed beef tongue set, and I had the generous kalbi set. We enjoyed our meal.

It's been a while since I went to Tokuju. I don't eat rice when I have yakiniku, so I eat a lot of meat♡ I'm the driver, so no alcohol for me... I had the variety set and the whole shoulder loin set. The sagari in the set was surprisingly large! The dipping sauce had a bit of a sake-like flavor, maybe fermented? It was a bit unusual. The shoulder loin set had 2 pieces each, so we could enjoy trying different cuts. It had a good amount of marbling, but I actually felt a bit heavy towards the end. Maybe it's my age ===========

Lunchtime was good value for money and the food was delicious, so I was satisfied. However, the attitude of the staff was terrible. The girl who took our order was polite, but the boy who brought the soup set and marinated beef was the worst. He seemed to be in a hurry and didn't have space to place the soup set on our table, and he even threw the scissors to cut the meat when he brought the marinated beef. Maybe he didn't mean to be rude, but in the restaurant industry, especially during the efforts to bring customers back after COVID, this kind of attitude is not needed. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time.

My daughter went on a school trip, my son watched Demon Slayer. It's been a while since my wife and I went out together. Where should we go? Anywhere cheap... How about going to eat some meat? So, we went to Tokuju! They had a party set that was perfect for two people! It had beef tongue, skirt steak, lamb, pork belly, cheap kalbi, and hormone. Each set had 5 pieces! The fifth piece was a struggle between us... "You eat it!" "No, you eat it!" We were already so full...

The assorted meat platter at Tokutaro! Since there were two of us, we ordered the half size! It was a great deal for the price and very satisfying in terms of portion! Garlic and kimchi are a must for me! I ate too much (lol) The salad had romanesco, which I love, so I was happy! ＼(^o^)／

Today, we celebrated my wife's birthday by having a family barbecue at Tokuju in Teine-ku. It was just the three of us, and my wife was thrilled because it had been a while since we last had barbecue. It was a good decision to bring her here. Surprisingly, it was crowded even though it was a weekday. The bill came out to be 7777 yen with all the 7s lined up! Yay! Overall, it was a great birthday barbecue for my wife.

This is a yakiniku chain that is based in Sapporo and is known for its delicious flavors. They offer box seats and table seats, making it convenient for families or large groups as well as for 2-3 people. The meat is not particularly outstanding, but all of it was delicious. I believe the cost performance is relatively good.

So, we reluctantly visited this restaurant. The taste is delicious. I like the marbled square-shaped Sagari and marinated Harami. The tongue is also good, right? On this day, perhaps because there were only student part-timers, it took over 10 minutes from the first order. The beer didn't come, but the meat arrived first. What's going on? After urging, the drink finally arrived. No apology. It was close to closing time, and they had time to clean up tables where no customers were sitting, but couldn't bring the drink? I felt like shouting at the forty-something alcoholic. lol Every time I placed an additional order, the order receipt that was brought fluttered down from the folder. Is it part of the manual to drop it every time? I don't think it happens every time, but still. This is the second time the cheers beer was delayed, so I decided to post about it.

I ordered the full family set and was very satisfied with the amount. In addition, I also had egg soup, crispy salted cabbage, Caesar salad, scallops, and yukhoe. I was very full by the end of the meal.

There was a unique dessert called "Whole Strawberry" for 430 yen. Looking at the bill, it's frustrating to see the 10% consumption tax added on.
