Visited in early October 2021, this yakitori-style izakaya is located in the entertainment district of Chitose City. The menu mainly consists of skewered dishes, with other small plates also available but categorized as "other dishes." After having a few drinks elsewhere, I had a craving for pork skewers and decided to stop by this restaurant that had caught my eye before. Upon peeking inside, the counter seats were almost full, but there was an empty spot at the far end where I was seated. The sunken kotatsu seating area also had customers, but there was still some space available. I started with a draft beer and ordered pork skewers, chicken gizzards, and chicken skin, two skewers each with salt seasoning. The appetizer consisted of a trio of dishes - simmered butterbur, vinegar and soy sauce marinated whitefish, and a fresh pickled dish. As I nibbled on the appetizers and sipped my beer, the pork skewers arrived first. They were onion and green onion skewers, priced at 150 yen each, with a decent portion and just the right amount of salt seasoning, quite tasty. After a short wait, the chicken gizzards and chicken skin arrived. The gizzards were carefully prepared, visually appealing, and the chicken skin had a good volume, offering a crispy surface and a chewy center, quite delicious. For my second drink, I ordered a lemon sour. By the time I finished my second drink, my stomach was almost full, so I decided to stop ordering more dishes despite other tempting options. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was a bit cluttered but lively, with mostly regular customers and a local vibe rather than catering to tourists. I might consider revisiting in the future, but there aren't many compelling reasons to choose this restaurant specifically, so it would depend on my mood next time.
