✨Enjoyed a delicious tonkatsu lunch with drinks at Tonkatsu Revolution in Kintetsu Kawachiyamamoto, Yao City, Osaka Prefecture! This place was opened by someone who used to work at Manje in Yao. It was my second visit, and even though there was a short wait with three people ahead of us, we got seated in about 15 minutes. The tonkatsu here is incredibly tasty, so I always want to come back, but it's a bit far from Osaka city. This time, I had lunch with a friend from Yao, so I finally got to visit again. I ordered the Hire Tonkatsu set with additional toppings of shrimp fry and squid fry, and everything was delicious. The tender and delicious tonkatsu, along with the shrimp fry and squid fry, were all great. The rice, miso soup, and salad were also tasty. The crispy and fluffy coating on the tonkatsu is magical and I can't get enough of it. Despite the generous portion of tonkatsu, you can have unlimited rice, which is a great bonus. The staff and owner are kind and attentive, constantly checking if we needed more sauce or anything else. I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied and full. I would love to visit this place again whenever I have the chance.✨ #KintetsuKawachiyamamotoStation #YaoCityYamamotocho #CloseToStation #IncrediblyTastyTonkatsu #CrispyFluffyCoating #WarmAndPoliteService #MouthwateringTonkatsu #WorthTheWait even if there is a wait.

The owner chef who trained at that Manje-san has opened a new restaurant called Tonkatsu Revolution! The lightly fried delicious pork loin cutlet, shrimp cream croquette, shrimp fry, salad, dressing, and freshly cooked rice with red miso soup were all delicious. This place is likely to become a restaurant where reservations are hard to come by. Above all, the friendly owner chef's hospitality is excellent!

Had lunch at Tonkatsu Revolution in Kawachi Yamamoto. It's a popular tonkatsu restaurant run by someone who trained at the highly popular tonkatsu restaurant Manje in Yao. I love Manje, but the wait time there is always crazy long, so I decided to try this place where you can get in without waiting in line. You write your name, number of people, and phone number on a paper in front of the shop, and they call you when a table is ready. We only had to wait for about 15 minutes before receiving a call. We ordered the Upper Loin Tonkatsu set and the Upper Tenderloin Tonkatsu set, both around 2000 yen. We also added a crab cream croquette and shrimp fry to the Upper Tenderloin Tonkatsu set for an additional 500 yen. First, they served cabbage, potato salad, rice, red miso soup, and pickles. The potato salad portion was surprisingly elegant. The tonkatsu arrived - delicious and tender. Personally, I preferred eating it with salt and sudachi. The loin was a bit fatty and the meat was slightly rare, making it a bit chewy when biting into the fatty part. I found it better with sauce. The tenderloin was my favorite, with a nice meat texture. The croquette and shrimp fry were also tasty. The rice and red miso soup were also delicious. The prices were reasonable. Overall, it's a good tonkatsu restaurant in town, even though it may not compare to Manje.

I arrived at the restaurant around 11:40 am on a weekday, but it was already full, so I filled out the waiting list with my name, number of people, and phone number, and left the restaurant for a while. While looking at items to buy at a supermarket across the railroad crossing, I received a call from the restaurant, so I headed back. This time, I ordered the top sirloin set meal with shrimp fry and cream croquette on the side. When the dishes were served, I was surprised to see that they were large in size and there were many plates, so the miso soup and rice were placed outside the tray and almost at the edge of the table, making it a bit difficult to eat. Is there enough space at the counter seats? However, as long as the food is delicious, I don't mind the inconvenience! I especially liked the cream croquette. Thank you for the meal.

Today, we went to Tonkatsu Revolution. It's one station away from Konohana-Yamamoto Station, near Yao. However, there was a train issue and the train wasn't running. But quick-thinking Hime spotted a taxi and we managed to catch one from the main street, arriving just 20 minutes before the 5 pm opening time. We had the following dishes:
- Black pork loin
- Wife pork
- Tenderloin with Sasashio and Uonuma salt (Niigata)
- Grated onion with ponzu sauce
- Sauce
- Additional shrimp fry
We wanted to try a variety of dishes, and the chef kindly recommended a combination where we could try three different types of pork. The black pork loin was tender and delicious, but my favorite was the tenderloin. When we mentioned the restaurant's name, the chef seemed pleased. Thank you for the meal!

This is my second visit to this restaurant. I was curious to see if there were any changes since the last time I visited, as it has been quite some time since the grand opening. This time, I went with two friends and we each ordered the Hamburger, Seafood, and Cheese cutlets separately. I noticed that each menu item had different salts and sauces used, which showed attention to detail. I tried the Cheese cutlet and it was excellent with the sudachi citrus. I also had a taste of the Hamburger cutlet, and I personally preferred the salt seasoning. In addition to the diverse set meal menu, they also offer individual orders and takeout options, making it versatile for different occasions. However, maybe it's just because I'm getting older, but I found the Cheese cutlet to be a bit heavy and rich this time, haha. But of course, it was still delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I didn't originally have a particular fondness for tonkatsu, but one day I decided to visit this place and ever since then, I have become addicted to the warm hospitality of the master and staff, as well as the crispy tonkatsu. I feel like I have to go there at least once a month now, haha. The tonkatsu is amazing, and the miso soup with its exquisite dashi is also delicious. The fact that it's only a 5-minute bike ride from my home is the pinnacle of happiness. Honestly, I hope it doesn't become too popular like that famous shop in Yao where you have to line up from 6 in the morning just to eat. But I can't help but want to recommend this place to others.

The second best tonkatsu restaurant in Yao✨ (I won't mention the first because there are too many good ones here) This place is known for the friendly owner and top-notch tonkatsu! Whenever you feel like having tonkatsu that day, you must come here! So, I ordered the Pork Loin and Upper Loin Half Tonkatsu Set (4,307 yen) for two people~ First, I tried the Upper Loin with salt... It was tender and moist, with a shiny oiliness that whets your appetite! It was so delicious! Next, I had a sip of the red miso soup, which was also amazingly delicious♡ (My son was impressed too (lol)) Then, I tried the Pork Loin, which I had requested with less fat when ordering. It was so tender that it jiggled when I picked it up with chopsticks! I dipped it in Niigata-produced bamboo salt and took a bite, and it melted in my mouth, spreading sweetness and umami! This Pork Loin is incredibly delicious!✨ When I asked the owner, he said... It's a miraculous pork born in Echigo-Tsumari, Niigata✨ The pork, bamboo salt, and rice are all from Niigata... Tonkatsu Revolution is all about promoting Niigata (lol) Everyone, please visit♡

The pork loin tonkatsu set meal costs about 2000 yen, with the option to add 2 items from a selection of 4 for about 560 yen. I chose shrimp and crab cream croquette as the additional items. The pork loin was delicious with its flavorful fat and crispy texture. I tried my friend's pork fillet, but I still prefer the fattier pork loin. The pork fillet seemed slightly overcooked. The set comes with 3 types of sauce - salt, sauce, and ponzu with grated daikon, allowing for some variety in flavors. The shrimp and crab cream croquette was also simply delicious! The shrimp was a bit small, so I think it would be better with larger shrimp. The appetizers like red miso soup, pickles, and potato salad were also tasty. Rice refills are free, which is great for those with big appetites. Reservations are made by writing on a piece of paper, and they will call you when your table is ready, so it's best to write your name down early and wait somewhere nearby.

They do not accept phone reservations, so if you want to make sure you can eat, you must write your name on the waiting list paper placed outside starting from 8:00 AM. I always order the "Top Sirloin Tonkatsu Set" which used to come with an additional order of shrimp fry and crab cream croquette for 400 yen extra, but the portion was too much and I struggled to finish it. So, this time I ordered without any extras. The crispy coating and juicy meat are delicious! Since eating the sirloin here, I have come to enjoy it even though I used to dislike it for being dry. The chairs at the counter are quite high, so as a short person, I always get guided to the only table seat available (laughs). I look forward to visiting this restaurant again next time.

In the morning, I was thinking about having "tonkatsu" for breakfast. I was deciding between Namba and Hyotan-yama, but ended up choosing Hyotan-yama. I checked out a soba restaurant near the station that was open early in the morning, but it was crowded for lunch. I wrote down my name and phone number on the list outside the restaurant, and they would contact me when it was my turn. However, I couldn't resist standing in front of a convenience store nearby while waiting. When I finally got called in, I was handed the menu and ordered the "jou-hiretei" set. The tonkatsu had a crispy texture and was perfectly cooked, with no rawness at all. I wasn't sure if it was because I was a man, but the tonkatsu wasn't cut into pieces, so I could bite into it and enjoy the dynamic flavor. Even the rice, salad, and tea were served with consideration for a refill. It's clear that successful restaurants always excel in customer service, providing a level of satisfaction beyond just the food. Unfortunately, I had to skip visiting a restaurant where I expected poor service and ended up taking the train back home.

I visited this restaurant for the first time because I heard that it is run by the apprentice of Tonkatsu Manje, who is known for their Tonkatsu Revolution. Unlike Manje, the owner here is very friendly and greeted me loudly. The atmosphere is much more pleasant here, so I feel like I can relax. I ordered the Tonkatsu with yuzu pepper, topped with shrimp fry and scallops. My friend had the cheese Tonkatsu, which was delicious, but I forgot to take a picture of it. The fry, rice, and pickles were all delicious. There was no need to wait in line, so I think I'll just come here from now on.

On a regular day at 12:20, the small restaurant with a limited capacity had a wait. They offer a kind service where you can write your mobile number on the waiting board and they will call you before your turn. I waited outside the shop and was offered warm rooibos tea by the staff. Such thoughtfulness is always appreciated.
With cherry blossom season approaching, I recommend taking a stroll along the "Cherry Blossom Avenue" by the Tamagawa River during the wait.
After a 30-minute wait, I entered the restaurant with about 6 people at the counter and one table for 2 (due to COVID-19 measures, they only seat up to 8 people). I ordered the pork loin tonkatsu set meal (150-160g) for 2,024 yen including tax. First, side dishes and sauce other than the tonkatsu were served. You can have unlimited refills of cabbage and rice. The tonkatsu had too much fatty parts in half of it, but it was very satisfying to eat. Above all, the master and all the staff were friendly, attentive, and checked on the customers' food, cabbage, tea, etc., making sure everything was in order. I had seconds of cabbage and rice. I felt like it's time to move on from pork loin and enter the realm of "fillet" soon. I will definitely make another visit to try the "fillet." Thank you for the delicious meal ☆☆☆☆☆

It is a tonkatsu restaurant located just a minute's walk southeast along the railway tracks from the left of the exit of Kintetsu Kawachiyamamoto Station. The system seems to involve writing your name in the reservation book in front of the store, but they were able to seat us immediately. There are 8 seats at the counter facing the kitchen, and one table. The floor of the restaurant is slippery. The menu mainly consists of pork cutlet sets with premium loin, as well as seafood options like prawns and crab cream croquettes. They also offer individual items and receive many takeout orders. For drinks, you can choose from sizes of draft beer (large, medium, small) and red or white wine by the glass or bottle. The pork cutlet is made with pork sourced from Niigata and looks delicious as soon as it comes out of the fridge. The chef dips it in batter, coats it in fluffy breadcrumbs, fries it until crispy, and cuts it in front of you. The chef and 2-3 staff members work efficiently, with the chef keeping a close eye on everything. They seem busy attending to both dine-in and takeout orders.

The owner of the shop, who has even been ranked as the best tonkatsu restaurant in Japan, has honed their skills at the renowned Yawata restaurant "Manje". Just like Manje, customers write their name and contact information on a board outside the shop to wait for their turn. I was so impressed by the tonkatsu at Manje that I didn't hesitate to order the hire (fillet), but I also wanted to try the loin, so I opted for a set of hire and loin half-and-half. The crispy coating was light and the meat was of the highest quality. The sweetness of the fat in the loin paired perfectly with the salt. I tried the hire with homemade tartar sauce and salt, skipping the sauce as I believe it is unnecessary for such high-quality tonkatsu. They also have other fried menu items that I would love to try.

I visited the restaurant at 19:35 for dinner. They accept PayPay with a 20% point back offer in Yao city. The restaurant was almost full, but I was seated at the counter. They served me rooibos tea first. I ordered the top sirloin tonkatsu set meal with options to add shrimp fry, crab cream croquette, squid fry, or scallop fry. I could choose two of these options. It came with sudachi, rock salt, sea salt, sauce, and tartar sauce. The set meal also included salad with dressing on the side, potato salad, rice, pickles, and miso soup. The chef and staff were friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

There is a popular tonkatsu restaurant in Yao where you may have to wait for about 30 minutes to an hour even with a reservation. They have different types of pork such as loin and tenderloin, and I want to visit this place multiple times. This time, I had the loin tonkatsu set meal which was very filling. As a bonus, they also gave me a croquette which was amazingly delicious! I would like to try the premium tenderloin set meal next time.

I happened to have some time so I went to eat. It was a while since I had authentic tonkatsu, especially the fillet cutlet. When I cut into it, there was still a bit of pink inside, but by the time I finished eating, it was perfectly cooked. Eating it with sudachi, a citrus fruit juice and salt, was amazing. The pork loin had a sweet fat and I thought maybe I'm getting older because it was a bit tough, but the tasty loin was still delicious. I would like to go eat oyster fry if they have delicious oysters. Oh, the shrimp fry with head on was also delicious.

I ordered the premium pork loin tonkatsu set and the half premium pork tenderloin tonkatsu set for 3258 yen. I arrived right after the restaurant opened and was able to get a table immediately, but after about 20 minutes, the restaurant was full and there was a wait. I waited for about 20 minutes. The breading was a deep brown color, fried to perfection, and the cross-section of the pork loin was uniformly white. The pork tenderloin had a red center surrounded by white, creating two layers. The pork loin seemed to be undercooked, as the chef used a knife to sear the cut surface after slicing it. When I took a bite, I first tasted the flavor of the fried breading, reminiscent of toasted bread, with a hint of burnt oil. The pork loin was tender at first but had a slight chewiness in the center. It had a light flavor that paired well with the breading. The pork tenderloin was tender but slightly dry, lacking in moisture. The sweet sauce complemented the breading perfectly, making the rice very enjoyable. Because the breading had a strong flavor, the sauce tasted better than the salt. The staff checked on me three times during my meal to see if I needed more condiments, showing great attention to customer service. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

Arrived at the restaurant around 11:45 on a regular Friday. The staff came out immediately to explain and wrote our name on the board as the 3rd in line. Noticed that the 1st group was for 4 people, so we wandered around a bit as the seating capacity seemed limited. Received a call from the restaurant at 12:23 saying our table would be ready in about 5 minutes. This system was efficient and saved time. The staff handed us the menu outside and checked on us again shortly after. We were seated promptly and served shredded cabbage and tomatoes. The staff's efficiency and thoughtfulness were impressive. The highlight was the tender pork cutlet that arrived quickly. The owner also interacted with all customers, even though my seat was not at the counter. It was a truly wonderful dining experience. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was finally able to visit a restaurant recommended by an acquaintance after several months. It was a small place with a counter and a few tables. I had to wait for about 5 minutes before being seated. The interior was bright, clean, and surprisingly free of the typical greasy smell you would expect from a tonkatsu restaurant. The menu was similar to a well-known tonkatsu restaurant on Tabelog, offering a variety of traditional and creative dishes. I ordered the premium pork cutlet set, and they asked me how I wanted it cooked. The service was very attentive, and they even asked me about the amount of rice I wanted. When the dish arrived, it looked amazing - perfectly cooked with a pink center. I tried it first with salt, and it was delicious. The meat was flavorful and the citrusy sudachi added a nice touch. The owner was friendly and it was clear that they cared about providing a great dining experience. I left feeling satisfied and wanting to come back again with friends. It was a happy encounter with a restaurant that made me feel grateful.
