The current store closed its business on May 20th. The new location and moving date will be announced on the official Instagram account. Bring your own wine. The handmade pasta with wild vegetables was delicious.

When visiting Hakodate for dinner, I visited this restaurant located near Goryokaku and Marui Imai department store. The exterior is small, but the interior has a warm atmosphere. They serve Italian cuisine using local Hokkaido ingredients. The dishes were well-prepared, starting with a dish of wild grass and fresh sea urchin, followed by perfectly fried king oyster mushroom cutlet, and a variety of creative combinations like yam and mascarpone mousse, duck and kelp cannolo, grilled asparagus with lily root mash, and crunchy flounder tartare. Each dish was exciting and the dessert was also enjoyable.

The turbot tartare was delicious with a great texture, using both the skin and stomach. The soup made from fish bones was very rich in flavor. The cherry salmon and spinach roll had a parrot-style corn sauce, while the butterbur sprouts were served with a spicy garlic and oil sauce, making me feel the arrival of spring. I look forward to seeing what kind of restaurant it will become after relocating, even though it will be farther from my home.

First visit to the popular restaurant Koltz-san ◎ Unexpected Japanese-style cold dish with radish and salmon cooked in sake, with the flavor of salmon enhancing the dish. ◎ Specialty Shiitake Croquette, made with whole fresh shiitake mushrooms fried to perfection. It's satisfying on its own. ◎ Mushroom and Potato Mascarpone Cheese, a perfect balance of mushroom aroma and potato flavor. ◎ Turbot Tartare, highlighting the texture of the ingredients. ◎ Turbot Kimono Soup, a rich and flavorful soup made with turbot broth, offering a unique taste experience. Turbot is a rare and delicious fish, highly valued in the market. ◎ Edamame Ravioli with a gently warm and comforting flavor. ◎ Smoked Sauce with Cod and Fresh Yuba, featuring fresh cod with a smoked yuba sauce that allows you to savor the smoky aroma. ◎ Pasta ◎ Sayaakane 180-day Aged Local Beef, incredibly tender beef allowing you to fully appreciate the ingredients. The sweetness of aged potatoes is also outstanding. ◎ Amazon Cacao Tiramisu and other dishes made with local ingredients, showcasing the skills of this popular Hakodate restaurant. The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant are filled with warmth and reflect the owner's concept consistently. A must-visit in Hakodate, looking forward to trying their lunch menu next time.

On the first night of my trip to Hokkaido, I visited an Italian restaurant in Hakodate that has been selected as a Foodlog BRONZE restaurant. I had made a reservation for the 5500 yen course in advance. The atmosphere was casual, with disposable chopsticks set out. It seemed to be run by a couple. I started with beer, then moved on to sake and wine. The dishes I had were as follows: - King shiitake mushroom cutlet from Shichinohe Fukuda Farm, served with salsa caburlesca sauce with anchovies and pickles. - Potato and mascarpone mousse with Tokachi mushrooms and melted egg yolk. - Turbot tartare and fish head soup. - Smoked sauce made from fresh yuba from a tofu shop in Tonami town, served with thick and juicy turbot. - Pork shoulder loin from Akari Farm, cooked at low temperature to a beautiful pink color, tender and with a good bite. - Pasta with cassoulet and cabbage, highlighting the sweetness of the cabbage. - Desserts: Shine Muscat and cream cheese, Amazon cacao tiramisu, and black tea. It was amazing. The restaurant had a casual and unpretentious atmosphere, yet the dishes made with local ingredients were delicious. Everything I ate was fantastic Italian cuisine. I enjoyed beer, sake, wine, and the bill was surprisingly under 10,000 yen. The hospitality of the couple was wonderful, and I had a blissful time. I would love to visit again in a different season. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

It seems to be a popular Italian restaurant in Hakodate. I used it a few years ago and visited again after a long time. I made a reservation a month ago for Saturday lunch, a popular restaurant. There were only three groups including us, surprisingly empty (about 6 tables). I ordered the 2,500 yen course for lunch (with 1 drink including beer). When I left the pasta and dessert to the chef, they said that another appetizer would come with it, so I left it to them. The 12 or so appetizers were all delicious, gently bringing out the flavors of the ingredients, and beautifully arranged. The additional appetizer was a fluffy mousse of taro and mascarpone with a quail egg dropped on top, and thinly sliced mushrooms added at the end. I regret not choosing my favorite pasta for the main course, which was anchovy and cabbage pasta. Thank you for the meal.

At the time of October 2022, while planning a trip to Hakodate with a 3.97 lunch course for 2,500 yen, there happened to be a highly rated Italian restaurant on the way to Goryokaku. The restaurant only has a total of 6 tables and seems to only accept 2-3 groups for lunch per day, so reservations are required. The restaurant has a stylish exterior with lush greenery, and the interior offers a calm and spacious atmosphere. The lunch course costs 2,500 yen for a single course. It is a prefix course where you can choose your favorite pasta and dessert, or leave it up to the chef and have 2 appetizers. Personally, I recommend asking about the chef's choice of pasta and dessert, and if it sounds good, go for the chef's choice. Since the pasta we wanted was different, we each made our choices. We started with appetizers and champagne (+200 yen) to toast. The appetizers were beautifully presented and luxurious. It was worth coming just for this. There were too many dishes to describe, so I omitted the details in the second photo. The roast beef (local), flounder tartare, terrine, mousse, etc., were all delicious. I highly recommend trying them with wine. The bread was also crispy. For pasta, we chose cacio e pepe and cream pasta with nori, white fish, and mountain wasabi. Thankfully, the staff suggested a half-and-half option. The cacio e pepe was served first. It was a pasta with cheese, black pepper, and a soy sauce-based oil that was enhanced by chicken broth. It was very delicious. I recommend it. When we finished, the cream pasta with nori, white fish, and mountain wasabi was served. I felt I made a slight mistake in choosing this one. There was a lot of nori, and it felt like I was eating cream nori from start to finish. If the ingredients are the same, the oil-based option would be better. So, if you choose a cream pasta, carbonara or arrabbiata with tomato sauce would be better. We had meringue for dessert. It was a meringue sweet with a strong sweetness that surprised me, but it was very delicious. The dessert was Amazon cacao tiramisu, which was decent. Considering the drink included, the price of 2,500 yen is a steal. Make sure to allocate 1.5 to 2 hours for the meal. When making a reservation over the phone, they will confirm your schedule after lunch, so it should be fine, but travelers should be cautious. This is not a place to hurriedly eat. Let's take our time and enjoy the meal.

Having lunch at Colts. Lunch is by reservation only. It may take a while to wait for the reservation, but it's worth it. Due to COVID, the number of people is limited, so it's not crowded, which is nice. You can choose the contents of the lunch, but I opted for the whimsical course. Excitingly waiting. The appetizer is colorful. Various vegetables are seasoned with mousse, yuzu, cream cheese, and balsamic vinegar, making it enjoyable. The pasta is unexpectedly Japanese-style pasta! It's pork belly and napa cabbage pasta. Delicious... The finale is Amazon cacao tiramisu. Truly an entertaining lunch. Well done. Thank you for the meal.

We visited the most popular Italian restaurant in Hakodate for lunch. Apart from us, there were only 2 other groups, making a total of 3 groups of customers. We enjoyed a variety of appetizers made with plenty of natural ingredients, and shared two large portions of pasta. The amount was more than we expected. The chewy, thick noodles in the pasta were particularly to our liking. We would like to come back for dinner as well.

The restaurant exceeded my expectations. The appetizers were amazing. Not only the variety and taste, but also the attention to detail in each dish was impressive. In addition, the cost performance was great, I couldn't believe how good it was for the price! When people think of Hokkaido, they often think of seafood, but I highly recommend visiting Coltz for at least one meal. The presentation was beautiful, and the second appetizer and pasta were both satisfying in terms of portion size. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Stylish and sophisticated atmosphere suitable for anniversaries. The house wine is delicious enough, even though the bottles are around 10,000 yen, which was a bit too pricey for me. The dinner courses start from 5,500 yen and were all very delicious. The restaurant was fully booked even on weekdays. It's no surprise it has a Michelin star in Hakodate.

*** Malouin's Smug tongue,,,,, Just for your information,,,,, *** How happy was the heart? It was a restaurant that I haven't felt so mismatched with in a long time. The last time I felt this mismatched was at yayoyu in Kanda Nishiki-cho, which had one Michelin star. The chef, who occasionally brought the dishes himself, seemed to have a good personality and put his heart into the ingredients and plates. However, to be blunt, the taste did not suit me, and my heart could not be happy. The service woman (Madame?) explained the menu and wines so quickly that I couldn't catch the place names. For example, there were several exchanges like, "Is it Kitasorachi?" and then a wry smile followed by "No, it's Kitatokachi." The somewhat arrogant attitude towards customers from "outside the area" (I always feel uncomfortable with expressions like "outside the area" or "outside the prefecture") can be forgiven, but the Biodynamic sparkling wine and white wine prepared for pairing were ruined because they were served at too high a temperature. I had doubts about the temperature management after uncorking. It might be better not to expect crisp sparkling wine or white wine here. How much did the tongue groan? If I were to express the dishes served with ◎, ○, △, ▼, it would be as follows: Grilled squid and pickled haskap berry salad ▼, Fried water eggplant with mackerel paste △, Matsuba flounder tartare with dashi soup ▼, Dried overnight pufferfish from Funka Bay with scallop mousse △, Tokachi Farm's Tanjaku beef ◯-like △, Tiramisu ▼, Mint jelly and cocoa ice cream △. I keep repeating, but since the flavors didn't match for me, all the dishes are rated harshly, but I felt that there are people who enjoy the taste here. Despite the risk of being misunderstood, in a completely hypothetical comparison, it's like having the taste of a Croissant magazine reader... Do my feet naturally want to come back here? Even though my nature is to naturally move towards renowned restaurants that make my taste buds sing, if I were to revisit Hakodate, I don't feel my feet naturally moving towards this place again. How did the Minister of Finance in my household react to the bill? Food is quite reasonably priced. A restaurant with sincerity. ☆In a word: Before arguing if good taste or not, it didn't suit me.

Hakodate City, Hokkaido, "Coltz" is an Italian restaurant that focuses on the taste of locally sourced ingredients. It is a hidden gem with a limited number of seats, so reservations are essential. They have a style of using minimal salt and oil. On this day, we tried the "Water Eggplant Cutlet" which had a light and crispy homemade breadcrumb coating and a sweet flavor of water eggplant, complemented by the savory saba rillette. The "Edamame Ravioli" in a kelp-infused soup was smooth and sweet, making it a dish you could eat over and over. The "Uni Dish" with grilled corn and salty sea urchin had a perfect balance of flavors, enhancing the sweetness and umami of the corn. The "Ayu Orecchiette" with Hokkaido ayu and cucumber sauce was refreshing and delicious. Even the "Bell Pepper Seed Fritters" were tasty. It was a fantastic meal.

6th stop on my exploration of Hakodate, the ultimate destination of this trip! This Italian restaurant has been on my list for a while due to its high ratings on Tabelog. They only offer lunch on weekdays, and due to the current situation with COVID-19, they only allow 2 groups per day, making this a rare opportunity. I made a reservation in advance and arrived before noon. The restaurant is tucked away in a narrow alley like a hidden gem. Upon entering, we were seated at a table and ordered drinks from the menu (I chose grapefruit juice, my companion chose iced tea). The "Lunch Course Set for 2,400 yen" we ordered included 2 appetizers, pasta, a drink, and dessert. The first course of "appetizers" was truly impressive! The presentation, attention to ingredients, and deliciousness were all top-notch. The server carefully explained each dish: - Tomato soup - Chicken terrine - Roast "Gib Beef" - Shishito peppers, hokke fish sauce - Corinque beans, anchovy - Scallop mousse - Soybeans, spices - Shiitake mushroom boy, cream cheese - Radish, butterbur miso - Udo, balsamic - Pumpkin - Carrot, yuzu - Matsukawa flounder tartare - Taralli with micro tomatoes Just with these appetizers, I was already captivated. Next was the "Potato and Mascarpone Mousse," which was also delicious with a gentle flavor. The main course was the "Salted Pork Belly and Cabbage Pasta," where the flavorful pork belly and fresh cabbage combined with the pasta, enhanced by yuzu pepper as an accent, was delicious. Finally, for dessert, we had the "Amazon Cacao Tiramisu" and "Shine Muscat Rare Cheese," both of which were exquisite. It was a luxurious two-hour lunch course, where we could relax and enjoy a blissful moment in a comfortable space. The service was attentive and excellent, making this a must-visit restaurant in Hakodate that I would love to revisit in the future.

This Italian restaurant is dangerously good, like the best I've ever had. The quality, the price, everything is just mind-blowing. They use local ingredients and serve a slow Italian cuisine that is a perfect blend of Italian and Japanese influences. The dishes are perfectly delicious, the presentation is top-notch, and the prices are unbelievably low. It feels like a Michelin-starred restaurant, but with a casual atmosphere. The food is hyper delicious and offers maximum value for money. The dishes include salted squid salad, water eggplant cutlet with mackerel rillette, turbot terrine, smoked scallop with karasumi and daikon, potato gratin with green tomato sauce, edamame ravioli, wagyu beef from natural pasture, and oil pasta with salted pork and cabbage. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, even if you have to travel to Hakodate for it.

On the second day of our trip to Hakodate, we had dinner at Colts, which was a first-time visit for my wife. We originally wanted to go to La Concha, but couldn't get through on the phone, so we ended up here. Reservations are possible from one month in advance, and only set course menus are available, with different prices for each course. As it was our first time, we reserved the ¥5,500 course in advance. The course included: 1. King shiitake mushroom cutlet 2. Matsukawa flounder tartare & Matsukawa flounder bone soup 3. Potato and mascarpone mousse 4. Today's fish: flatfish and zucchini flower scallop mousse 5. Today's meat: sautéed pork shoulder loin 6. Today's pasta: Chinese cabbage and white sesame pasta 7. Meringue chopsticks rest 8. Two types of dessert. Every dish used delicious ingredients from the local area and was absolutely amazing. The food looked like French cuisine, but tasted like Italian - truly impressive. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Last time, perhaps because it was lunchtime, the food didn't quite live up to the hype of being incredibly delicious. However, the pasta was tasty. This time, maybe because it was dinner, the food was truly outstanding. The only letdown was the pasta with blowfish milt, which didn't quite hit the mark. Nevertheless, considering the price, it was a fortunate experience. In particular, the tartare made with whole Matsukawa flounder, including skin, eggs, and innards, along with a sauce made from bones and dried daikon radish, was impressive. It seems to be a popular and hard-to-reserve restaurant in Hakodate, but I would definitely make a reservation in advance to revisit.

Bronze 2022 in the Goryokaku area, with an amazing rating of 3.96 on Tabelog! This hidden gem Italian restaurant surrounded by greenery offers a quiet space with only 6 tables. Lunch is set course only, including appetizer, pasta, drink, and dessert. You can opt for an additional appetizer by choosing the "Lunch Course" for 2400 yen. They also offer a selection of white wines at no extra charge, which is a nice touch. The appetizers are outstanding, beautifully presented on a wooden plate with 15 varieties like works of art. The bread is crispy and delicious. The pasta dish "Akarinoujou Farm Pork Cheek Grécha" is light on salt but rich in flavor, with tender pork and perfectly cooked noodles. For dessert, you can choose the "Yogurt Semifreddo" with a refreshing Haskap sauce. All this at such a reasonable price! I can't wait to try their dinner menu next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited this restaurant for lunch today. I had made a reservation in advance for a specific time and it was a good decision as the restaurant was fully booked. For lunch, you can choose between a set menu where everything is chef's choice or selecting each dish individually. Opting for the chef's choice means you get an extra appetizer. I decided to go with the chef's choice as I thought everything would be delicious. For drinks, there was a selection of beer and wine, so I chose white wine. The appetizer was served with a variety of colorful and appetizing dishes. The cold onion potage had a caramelized sweetness, the soy tartare was flavorful, and the tempura taralli was crispy and fresh. The apple skin stuffed with pork hamburger was punchy, the daikon and miso was like pickles, the carrot and yuzu were marinated, and the swamp shrimp had a Chinese touch. Each dish had a different cooking style and was intriguing. Next, a king oyster mushroom with vinegar-based sauce was served, with thick mushrooms lightly fried. It was delicious. By this point, I was already quite satisfied. The pasta was a seasonal garlic and dried tomato peperoncino, with a crunchy garlic texture. The garlic and chili spiciness was balanced by the dried tomatoes. It was a tasty peperoncino with a good portion size. For dessert, there was a tiramisu sprinkled with cocoa. Overall, it was a high-quality Italian meal. It was so delicious. Thank you for the meal.

In Hakodate city, there is an Italian restaurant called "Colt's" with a limited parking space at the back of the shop. Upon arriving on a weekday, the restaurant was fully booked as expected, so having made a reservation was a good idea. The interior had a stylish and calming atmosphere with white walls and natural wood tables and chairs. The lunch course costs 2400 yen and includes a choice between selecting your own dishes or leaving it to the chef. The set includes appetizers, pasta, dessert, and a drink. The appetizers were beautifully arranged on a wooden plate with a variety of options to enjoy while sipping wine. The overall quality of the food was high, especially the Lily root soup, caspian tatar, and princess apple. The pasta dish made with Tsurukawa Akari Farm's Graycha pork cheek and cheese was flavorful and satisfying. The dessert, made with yogurt semifreddo, Hasukappu Otobe, and Yamasaka Farm sauce, was also delicious. The meal was completed with a meringue for a refreshing touch.
