The chestnut flavor was quite strong, which was unusual. Personally, I didn't really like the sponge part at the bottom. This shop offers high-end sweets that are perfect as souvenirs for the nightlife scene. I would like to revisit if I have the chance.

The other day, I finally went to Poire, a place I had always wanted to visit for tea before a live performance at Festival Hall with a friend. It's close to my office, but I got a little lost on the way there because I had only been there at night on my way back from work. Usually, when we have tea before a live performance, we would go to Festival Plaza, but this time my friend met me at Osaka Station and took me there. In hindsight, I think I should have gone with peach, as it was a limited edition. My friend ordered an interesting-shaped Mont Blanc and a hot coffee mixed juice, which looked like a parfait with dry ice making it fluffy and fun to look at (perfect for summer). The interior of the shop was not very large, with about five table seats. As soon as we sat down, customers kept coming in and the place quickly filled up.
