I heard that the revolving sushi in Hokkaido is of high quality, so I decided to check it out. It was quite a walk from the hotel near the station, so it might be better to drive there (lol). The interior of the restaurant is bright and clean. I was able to be seated without waiting, but there were a few groups waiting at the cashier as it is a popular place. The prices are on the higher side, but the rice and toppings are generous in size. I especially appreciated the thickly sliced toppings. There were some instances where items we didn't order were brought to us, but overall it was a good experience. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the "Nagoyakatei" Odori branch in Obihiro City, Hokkaido. On the first day of my business trip to Obihiro, I went to Matsuriya, so on the last day, I went to Nagoyakatei. The guidance to our table was very polite. However, I was surprised that the sushi rice I ordered felt like it was made completely by a machine haha The fish was delicious though! The chef in front of us seemed energetic, but something about him was off-putting and I couldn't enjoy my meal leisurely haha

A friend who lives in Hokkaido told me about a delicious sushi restaurant that has been recently popular. It's a kind of high-end conveyor belt sushi restaurant with a three-star restaurant system. It seems like they mainly operate in Hokkaido, but for some reason, they have two stores in Shiga Prefecture. Since the Shiga stores are relatively close to where I live, I plan to visit them. In short, it was an affordable and delicious restaurant. They have a wide variety of sushi toppings at reasonable prices. It's not super cheap, but it won't break the bank either. And you must order the overflowing salmon roe with a shout, it's a fantastic touch to a wonderful dining experience. Let's head back to the hotel in a slightly tipsy mood after a nice meal.

Nagoyaka-tei in Obihiro Odori is a great place. I often get takeout from here, but this time I decided to dine in. The saba (mackerel) and hotate (scallop) are incredibly fresh. Their soups are also delicious. When you order the "Kobore Ikura" for 1,144 yen, a drum starts playing and the staff shouts "Soiya! Soiya!" as they pour ikura onto your sushi. It's a fun performance that is also done at Hachikyo restaurant. I felt a mix of happiness and embarrassment as I enjoyed the delicious food. Thank you for the meal! Soiya!

This is Nagoyaka-tei in Obihiro Odori. We dined in the restaurant again. Encouraged by the lively staff, we ended up ordering a lot. We each enjoyed our favorite sushi toppings and left the restaurant feeling satisfied. I believe that Obihiro and Hokkaido's conveyor belt sushi is of high quality. It's definitely on a different level compared to chain restaurants! Once again, we had a delicious and fulfilling meal. Thank you very much!

Salmon bone soup, zangi roll, salmon battleship, and tuna battleship for about 630 yen. I came for the salmon bone soup, which was delicious. It has a great taste of salmon with vegetables and konjac. It was around 248 yen, which I think is a great deal. It's convenient to grab a quick meal after work.

On January 15, 2022, what I can do now is to support restaurants while being careful. Let's all do our best! Today, I felt like having sushi, so I decided to visit a new place, "Nagoyakatei Odori Branch," located along Odori Street in Obihiro. The exterior is beautiful with cream-colored walls. Inside, it is spacious and bright with counter seats and box seats. I arrived right at 11:00. I ordered recommended dishes from the menu, all prices including tax. Plates priced at 495 yen: Maguro, Hirame no Konbu-jime, Tsubasa no Kansaba, Shima Ebi, Ooyaki Anago, and one more I forgot (haha). Plates priced at 374 yen: Bungo Kanburi, Hikarimono Zukushi. Plates priced at 217 yen: Salmon head soup. The total came to 3,935 yen (including tax). The sushi had thick slices of fresh and satisfying toppings, with slightly vinegary rice and slightly smaller, soft shari. The rice seemed to be cooked in-house and was slightly warm and delicious. The foreign staff members were polite and spoke beautiful Japanese, providing a pleasant dining experience. I left feeling full and satisfied. I will definitely come back for sushi again. It's close to home and I can see it well, but it's always crowded. Last year, Hamazushi was my favorite, but this year it's Sushiro. My friend gave me a confident look on payday, so I made a reservation at Nagoyakatei! Today's top dish for me was the salted salmon, with a perfect balance of fat and saltiness. The Bihoro beef sushi was a must-try for meat lovers. It's cheap and delicious! I couldn't resist ordering double portions of octopus heads and legs because I love them! The golden eye snapper miso soup was also amazing. There are many dishes for 120 yen each, not just the recommended expensive ones!

Tonight, my usual partner and I had dinner together at a casual conveyor belt sushi restaurant. We decided to go to Nagoyakatei in Obihiro city, which is known as one of the top sushi restaurants in the area, although we hadn't been there in the past 2-3 years. The reason for this is that when the restaurant first opened, the sushi was hand-rolled, but now it is made by a machine, which has taken away some of its charm. The sushi now lacks a certain quality and we haven't been as inclined to visit. However, we decided to give it another try. The interior of the restaurant had been renovated and looked very bright and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. We tried various dishes such as duck soba, a saba (mackerel) assortment, chawanmushi (savory egg custard), and others. The normal pickled tuna was not good, as it had a strong alcohol taste that made it hard to eat, but the texture of the tuna was good. The pickled plum and shiso leaf roll was delicious. Overall, the sushi was fresh, especially the shellfish and shrimp. The price was reasonable for the quality of the sushi. Thank you for the meal.

I occasionally visit various Nagoyakatei locations, aiming to prioritize quality over quantity in this site, the trend of the moment (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و. I visited the Nagoyakatei Odori branch for a late lunch. First, I checked in using the machine, then sat on the waiting chair. After about 10 minutes, my number was called, and I was guided to a counter seat. Each counter seat now has a partition for every two people, providing a more comfortable dining experience. From the special menu (which has already ended, sorry m(__)m), I ordered verbally: - White shrimp tempura soba for 598 yen + tax, discounted to 450 yen + tax - Plenty of scallop and snow crab chawanmushi for 340 yen + tax The staff informed me of the daily recommendations, which I noted down on the order sheet: - Thick-cut horse mackerel for 260 yen + tax - Cherry salmon for 260 yen + tax, discounted to 198 yen + tax - Grilled young yellowtail with yuzu salt for 260 yen + tax The sushi arrived quickly, so I started with the thick-cut horse mackerel, which had a satisfying thickness but was not to my liking due to the ginger. The cherry salmon had a refreshing and elegant fat content, different from the usual salmon. I remembered the soba being the highlight before, and it was good as always. The white shrimp had some whiskers, which made the texture a bit challenging for me. For the second round, I ordered: - White clam sushi for 450 yen + tax, discounted to 285 yen + tax - Salmon roe for 285 yen + tax, discounted to 128 yen + tax I was absent-mindedly searing the sushi. I usually don't eat these, but they seemed like a good deal. The seaweed was crispy, and the portions were small, so I ended up ordering 5 plates (10 pieces) unknowingly. Normally, I would indicate "+ tax" only for the first item, but this time, I added it to all items. When I went to pay, it was over 2000 yen, which made me wonder if there was a tax-free magic trick for April visits. The staff was friendly and the servers had good diction, making it easy to understand their instructions, even with masks on. I visited a revolving sushi restaurant at night. It was quite crowded, but since I was alone, I was seated quickly. The restaurant is called Nagoyakatei, which I haven't seen in the Kanto region. They have a wide variety of local dishes, and the Zangi roll was delicious. The prices are a bit high, but you can experience Hokkaido's revolving sushi.

I visited the restaurant alone around 11:45 am on April 11, 2020. I saw the sign "Spring Hokki Special" along the road and entered the shop without hesitation. I was seated at the counter and ordered clam, Hokki clam, shrimp, squid with yuzu salt, and a plate of three assorted shiny items. As I was eating, more and more customers came in. I thought the Hokki clam and shrimp sushi were delicious. There were customers seated on both sides of me, but they were both chatting with their companions, so I ate five plates and left the restaurant. I wanted to eat more, but I felt concerned about the risk of infection, so I gave up.

Triton is the most popular in the Sapporo area, but since there is no Triton in Obihiro, Nagoyaka-tei is the most popular there. Even though it was just after opening, almost all the seats were full, and more and more customers kept coming. The prices are a bit high, but the sushi is so fresh and big that it feels worth it. I thought the Zantare sauce would be sweet, but it was actually a salty sauce with a strong ginger flavor and it was delicious. The miso soup was also very tasty! The beef sushi was unusual but also delicious. There was quite a variety of meat sushi available. Overall, everything was big and delicious (laughs). Thank you for the meal!!

Nagoyaka-tei in Obihiro City is the place to go for conveyor belt sushi. They offer high-quality sushi that doesn't look like typical conveyor belt sushi. The restaurant is open from 11am to around 10pm, making it very convenient for visits at any time. They offer fresh sushi and have friendly staff, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and sometimes even cheap for the delicious food you get. You can order by writing your desired items on a piece of paper and they will make it for you. The green tea they serve is also good. I always order the miso soup, which is surprisingly cheap. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant, especially if you like seafood. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Second time in Hokkaido. This time, we started with revolving sushi in Obihiro! As expected in Hokkaido, even the quality of revolving sushi is very high. The freshness of the shrimp was impressive. It was a satisfying sushi restaurant. It is a popular chain, so we had to wait in line for quite some time.

I went to Nagoyakatei Odori store! I have been here several times. I got the "Fureai set" 41 pieces for 6,300 yen (excluding tax) to go. When I opened the bag, there was a splendid container made of wood, which can be reused. Let's eat! The shrimp is incredibly delicious! It's thick and plump with a sweet taste that I couldn't resist ^_^ The rice is on the firmer side and the vinegar is light. Overall, everything tasted delicious. The quality is consistently high. The pickled ginger is also easy to eat as it comes in a convenient case. Thank you for the meal, Nagoyakatei!

Despite the delicious sushi, the service was lacking, so I left with mixed feelings. Triton wins in terms of revolving sushi. I should have just stuck with the pork bowl in Obihiro. If you come to Hokkaido, you have to eat sushi!! (laughs) I looked it up and found out that Hokkaido has high-quality conveyor belt sushi. Popular restaurants had several groups of customers waiting even early in the day. Mostly families. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a counter seat as we preferred it over a table. We ordered Hokkaido-specific sushi. The salmon, scallops, and other items were on a different level compared to other conveyor belt sushi places. The richness and sweetness were impressive. We enjoyed Hokkaido specialties like ikura, crab battleship sushi, and shishamo hand rolls. Oh, and we also tried the Inca's Awakening potato butter on the side. It was delicious, hot, and fluffy. However, the raw saury and mackerel were not as good. The fishy smell was a bit off-putting. Also, the soy sauce was too salty for my taste. I prefer a milder soy sauce like the one from Kyushu. And of course, we ended our meal with the routine at a sushi restaurant - crab miso battleship sushi (laughs). The crab miso battleship sushi here had a generous amount of miso mixed with the crab meat. The rich miso and sweet crab meat were a perfect combination. Overall, it was a very satisfying conveyor belt sushi experience. I would recommend this place, especially for families.

Since I was little, my go-to sushi restaurant has always been Nagoyaka-tei. However, after moving to Tokyo, I realized that the quality of conveyor belt sushi restaurants here is completely different (lol). Despite being a conveyor belt sushi place, Nagoyaka-tei offers fresh and generously sized toppings at an affordable price.
